Once upon a time…

…there was a mouse called Rudolf who was a very bad mouse.

One day, Lucy, Rudolf´s neighbour came back from shopping and needed help carrying her bags full of food, so she asked him:

– “Hi Rudolf, Can you help me to carry these bags, please?”.

– “No!” – Rudolf replied.

The little mouse girl started crying. Just at that moment, a handsome young mouse, called Richard, was walking along the street. He saw the little mouse girl crying and felt sorry for her.

– “Let me help you” – he said.

– “Thank you so much! – Lucy said.

Rudolf was jealous, even though he didn´t want to help her in that moment.

– “That mouse shouldn´t be near Lucy, she only asks me for help”, he said.

Jealousy made Rudolf behave differently.

– “Richard, don’t, I will help her” – Rudolf said.

Richard exclaimed surprised – “As you prefer!”

And from then on Rudolf helped Lucy any time she needed it. Lucy talked to him, and advised him not to be so mean, because he had to learn to behave correctly, especially when somebody offered help.

She also told him that jealousy was bad and could give rise to many problems. Rudolf realized that his attitude was not good at all, and started to change.

Years passed and Lucy and Rudolf fell in love, got married and lived happily ever after.

In addition, they became very good friends to Richard, who was a very kind mouse.

And that is the end of the story…

Moral of the Short Story for Kids: Don’t be rude to the others, be kind and help who ever needs it, this way you will be happier.

In one kingdom on our planet living in peace and harmony were Snow White and the seven dwarves.

One day, some ruffians appeared and kidnapped Snow White, leaving a note that said:

“Give us 100 million dollars If you want to see Snow White again. Signed: The Evil Witch”

When the seven dwarves arrived home they were very concerned, not just because Snow White had been kidnapped but also because nobody would cook for them, or clean the house while they were working.

So they hastily rushed to the police.  When they arrived they were sent to talk to the team which specialized in combating kidnapping. The team was made up of Little Red Riding Hood, the leader who had mental powers, Cinderella, who was responsible for team organization and computer systems and Pinocchio, who was a ninja expert in martial arts.

During the investigation, Little Red Riding Hood used her mental powers to locate the place where Snow White was locked up.

Cinderella immediately searched for the address of The Evil Witch on the internet, and located her by using a GPS system.

Meanwhile, the Evil Witch was in her castle watching their steps using her magic mirror. When she realized they were on the way to her castle, she sent her loyal assistant, Peter Pan to ambush them with a weapon and some hand grenades.

Luckily, Cinderella used her computer to introduce a virus and published a video showing a car exploding during an ambush. When the evil witch saw it she was very happy as she thought that her plan had worked and so went to relax by taking a bath, feeling very confident.

Luckily, peter Pan failed during the ambush, because “Mobilejustice”; that was the name of their armoured Hummer, had no problem passing the ambush.

When they arrived at the castle, the team couldn’t get inside, because it was closed. So, they asked Pinocchio to climb over a wall and open the door from the inside.

A big battle then started inside. The Evil Witch and her gang were winning little by little. Peter Pan reached them and began a sword battle against the brave Pinocchio. They had built a special trap for him and suddenly he fell into a hole full of termites who wanted to eat him.

Fortunately, Little Red Riding Hood stopped the termites using her mental powers, and when they were about to be defeated, a fast red Ferrari, skidding around the bends, with the music very loud, appeared. Everybody was shocked, because they couldn’t see anybody inside until the door opened and the Seven Dwarves appeared. They began to beat up those who were in the middle of the battle.

Finally, they managed to stop Peter Pan and his henchmen. Pinocchio and Little Red Riding Hood went to catch the witch, who was inside her castle, making herself pretty in front of the mirror and it was a very unpleasant moment for the witch when they arrested her.

Snow White was freed by the specialist team and thanks to the Seven Dwarves help. The team triumphed one more time and achieved their objective – to rescue Snow White.

In a faraway city, four beautiful girls lived with their Mum and their Dad. The girls loved Christmas, especially the presents they were given.

One day, the girls asked their father:

– “Does Santa put magic powder taken from fairies over his reindeers so they can fly?”

And their Dad replied: “No. That’s not true”.

Their Mum reprimanded their father for the answer he gave the girls:

“Of course fairies exist”, she said, “and they help Santa give beautiful presents to all children“.

When the girls woke up the next day, they exitedly ran to the Christmas tree. When they saw that Santa had left presents they believed the story their mum had told them and were very happy.

and they spent the whole day full of excitement, playing with all their new toys.

And that is the end of the story…

…Without thinking about it, Boy-boy jumped into the car and Napoleon ran after him, because his friends were inside.

“Ooh, Boy-Boy” – Bubu said almost crying when he saw his friend – “The hunters have caught me, what´s going to happen to me!! I heard I was going to be sold for money. I can´t live locked up far from the jungle!”

“Don´t worry, I will free you ” – Boy-Boy said. – “I will also open the parrots and the toucans cage, and free the baby leopard too. But we have to do all of this in silence. Don´t worry Bubu, Napoleon is coming to help me”.

Boy-Boy cut the rope tied around Bubu´s legs and said: “Don´t speak and don’t move. Before we escape up the road, we need to wait until Napoleon arrives. Open the parrots and toucan´s cages. Tell them not to move and to be silent. Take care of the baby leopard and keep him calm to stop him crying”.

“Ooh!” – Bubu said – “But we are already near the road and Napoleon isn´t here, I am very scared”.

The hunters were putting up a sign saying: “Parrots, toucans and wild animals for sale”.

“Poor me..” – Bubu moaned – “I hope Napoleon arrives”.

Meanwhile, Napoleon met the mummy of the baby leopard, who was also following the hunter’s trails, and she joined Napoleon to rescue them. She knew a shortcut to reach the hunter’s cage faster.

They arrived where the illegal hunters had put up their shop, and hid.

– “Well” – said one of them – “We are ready”.

Suddenly, the mummy leopard jumped on one of the hunters from where she was hiding and Napoleon bit the other hunter´s leg. Boy-Boy shouted: “Everybody out of the cages, fly to freedom!”

The hunters were screaming and begging for help, pleading so the “beasts” would go away.

A police patrol appeared, Napoleon explained to them what the hunters had done, and the police took them and handcuffed them, because they had commit a crime. Wild animals are from the jungle and have to live freely.

Bubu and Boy-Boy ran towards the jungle and waited for mummy leopard and Napoleon in the middle of the path.

When mummy leopard arrived she hugged her baby happily, Napoleon arrived behind her and also hugged his friend Bubu with joy. Then they all went back to the jungle.

Bubu said excitedly: “Thank you friends, thank you!!! What would have become of me!” – he said – “Now I know we are more than friends, we are all for one and one for all. I love friendship!”

Our three friends lived in the jungle. They used to spend all day exploring the forest and then sleep huddled up against each other at night.

Napoleon, the dog, used to spend the day trying to catch lizards; Boy-boy, the cat, ran behind colorful butterflies, and Bubu, the badger, looked for honeycombs inside the trees and for insects on the jungle floor that he really liked to eat.

One day, they heard a strange noise. It sounded like an engine, and they also heard voices. But, who could it be? Nobody could reach that part of the jungle.

Those noises intrigued them, so they moved closer to the place where the voices were coming from and listened…

“We will be fine here! – a voice said – “It´s a good place to wait for the animals, I can see many tracks and footprints”.

Napoleon, Bubu and Boy-Boy left the place stealthily as they were afraid of being discovered. They were horrified by what they had just heard and discovered.

After recovering from their shock, Napoleon said: “How horrible! Those are illegal hunters!! I heard that they take wild cats, monkeys, parrots, toucans and other animals from the jungle, to sell them later at the edge of the road!”.

“Oops!! Thanks goodness I´m almost a pet cat and you are not in danger, Napoleon, as you are a normal dog, but Bubu is a badger, and they might want to capture him”. Then, looking at Bubu, Boy-Boy said:

“Well Bubu, we have to hide you, but not too far from us!!”

“Do not go looking for honecombs far from here! We have to stay together, this way Boy-boy and I will be able to protect you” – Napoleon said.

Then they were more relaxed and slept all together.

When daylight came, Bubu could not resist the temptation of going to look for some honey. So he went to the tree but suddenly…BAAAANG!, Bubu felt a rope around his neck and heard a terrifying voice say: “Look what I have caught! It’s a badger!”

“That is worth a lot of money, I know someone who will pay a good price for this animal”

Another voice said: “Let´s go, so we can be on the road selling our parrots, toucans, a baby leopard and this badger before midday”.

Napoleon and Boy-Boy were afraid when they noticed that Bubu had disappeared. They decided to look for him.

Napoleon smelled everything around searching for a track, while Boy-boy followed him. The track took them to the ilegal hunters campsite.

When they arrived, they heard a baby leopard crying, parrots screaming, toucans shouting and could hear the hunters putting Bubu, with his legs tied, inside the back of a car.

Without thinking about it, Boy-boy jumped into the car and Napoleon ran after him, because his friends were inside.

Once upon a time…

There were a couple of dogs that had a little puppy called Aurora. She was very cute, playful and lovely. She loved sharing everything with her friends.

One day, Aurora told her parents she was going out to look for food. Another dog, bad and grumpy, was waiting for her outside. She was called Tita, and was in front of her house.

When Aurora arrived back home with the food, Tita ordered Aurora to give her the food. Aurora said no and went running inside her home. Finally, the owner came to shoo Tita away, but Tita was still angry.

Three years later…

Aurora went out with a friend and met a dog called Harry. He was a very cute, strong and handsome dog. Aurora greeted him, Harry greeted her back, then they started talking.

It was 8:30 in the evening and Aurora had to go back home. Harry asked to go with her and she accepted. When they arrived, her parents looked at Harry and Aurora introduced him to them.

Meanwhile Tita was planning to kidnap Aurora and got into the house, but when she tried to kidnap her Harry defended her. Aurora was very happy and thankful to Harry.

When harry went back home and Aurora went to sleep, Tita got into the house again and this time did kidnap her.

The next day Harry went to Aurora´s house and noticed her parents were anxious and angry. When Harry asked them what was going on, Aurora’s mother told him that Aurora had disappeared and Harry remembered what had happened the night before, suspecting that it was Tita again.

Nineteen days went by without any sign of Aurora. Harry spent day and night looking for her everywhere. Then, one day, Harry saw Tita and asked her:

– “Where is Aurora!!”

Tita laughed, and Harry shouted at her:

– “Don´t laugh!! Tell me where she is!!”

Tita confessed that Aurora was locked inside a house. Harry found her and saved her and then he took her back home to her parents.

Her parents were very happy to see their daughter and Aurora was happier than ever.

And that is the end of the story…

Nobody wanted to be King of the Vegetable kingdom as it was such a difficult responsibility.

The kingdom was full of all kinds of colors, green spinach, orange carrots, red tomatoes, white onions, yellow peppers, and florets of cauliflower and broccoli everywhere. It was an amazing place full of health and strength.

Messages were sent out around the kingdom for them to choose a King. But nobody wanted to assume the charge. They all preferred other kingdoms like The kingdom of Sweets, The Crab kingdom, or even The Cold Meat kingdom, but nobody wanted The Vegetable kingdom.

Then one day, a little man called Luram, became sick. He was really weak and lost a lot of weight. He became very skinny and could not grow any taller. He was really sick, had no energy, and only wanted to stay in bed. Had no strength to jump or run around.

One day, a fairy called Lily visited him, and invited him to drink a tonic, she was sure that it would be good for him. It was made from the vegetables, pomegranate, blueberries and elderberry.

When Luram drank the tonic that Lily the fairy had prepared for him, he started to feel better, he was full of energy, wanted to play, run around, and jump again. Fairy Lily visited him again, to check how he was feeling and gave him another tonic. He said it was great and so, Lily told Luram:

– “Now you are heathy and strong thanks to the vegetables that you used to reject, accompanied by a few dried berries and fruit. So, it´s time to be thankful to the kingdom of vegetables by giving back the good it has done for you.

Luram started thinking about what might be the best way to do something good for this kingdom.

He first visited all those who were sick, invited them to improve their eating habits; showed them the importance of eating vegetables and fruit every day. Luram invited them to drink a bit of the delicious tonic the fairy had given him. It was so delicious that, when they found out what it was made of, they realized that they could drink it every day, or simply just eat the vegetables and berries it was made from.

The inhabitants of the kingdom immediately realized that little Luram was doing good and that he could be their king. Little Luram answered humbly:

– “I´m not ready to reign yet because I haven´t improved my own eating habits completely, and there are still people here that are not eating like they should. I still have to make everybody understand that not eating vegetables or fruit or berries can make them fat, nevertheless, I will continue working and will only accept the title of: Prince Luram of The Vegetable kingdom.

Once upon a time…

There was a golf club called Golfy, who played golf every day on a golf links made precisely to practice this sport on the outskirt of the city.

The golf club was a marvellous golf player. He always won competitions and golf tournaments.

Well…actually, not always…because one day, a new tree appeared on the golf links, called Little Tree, and this tree really liked golf balls, and used to keep them by hanging them from his own branches at Christmas.

The golf links groundsman really liked this tree, so Little Tree became the golf links mascot.

Golfy, the golf club got very annoyed when he found out who was the mascot, because Little Tree always kept Golfy´s balls so in the end Golfy couldn´t play any more golf.

When December arrived, Golfy bought Christmas baubles for Little Tree, so he could hang them from his branches and so not keep the Golfy’s golf balls or annoy him any more. But Little Tree only liked golf balls.

So, Little Tree hung all the golf balls he had on his own branches and became an amazing Christmas tree.

Golfy didn´t know what to do, so he decided to strike a deal with Little Tree. He said, “Hi, Little Tree, you took away all my golf balls, I can see them hanging from your branches and I need them to play golf. Could you give them back to me? I will give you these nice Christmas baubles in exchange”.

The Christmas tree replied: “Golfy! Don´t try to trick me, golf balls are more beautiful than those bright, shiny Christmas baubles”.

Then, Golfy had a great idea. He decided to paint the Christmas baubles like golf balls, that is to say, white and with small holes.

He went back to visit Little Tree and said, “Little Tree, look, I am going to give you these Christmas baubles that look just like golf balls. This way you can enjoy your ornaments and also give me back my golf balls so I can continue playing golf. What do you think?”.

Little Tree thought about it and realized that in this way, both of them would come out winners and he also realised that he had been selfish and shouldn´t have made Golfy angry.

Especially, he thought, during Christmas because is time to think of others and not only of yourself.

Once upon a time, there was a girl called Sussi. She was living with her mum and dad and her sister Andrea.

Sussi was a beautiful girl, nice and lovely who was always helping and she loved her family so much.

One day, her parents gave her a nice pair of blue shoes for her birthday. And her sister Andrea gave her a nice colorful ball.

Sussi was amazed by her blue shoes and did not care the colorful ball her sister had given her.

Days passed… She always wore her blue shoes, went to school in her blue shoes, went for walks in her blue shoes and played in her blue shoes. She even went to sleep wearing her blue shoes.

Her mum had to wait until she fell asleep to take her blue shoes off.

More days passed. Her shoes started to get old because she used them for everything.

One day, her sister Andrea, hid her blue shoes and Sussi became really sad, because she wanted them, she didn’t want to wear other shoes, because these were her favorite shoes.

Andrea, her sister, could not bear to see her sister so sad so she gave her back her blue shoes.

When Sussi saw her old blue shoes was really happy, and jumped with joy.

One day, Sussi saw a small hole in the sole of her blue shoes, and ran to show to her mum. Her mum told her that it was time to change her shoes, but Sussi did not want any others.

Her mum talked to her explaining that many things in life do not last forever, including blue shoes, and that we have to learn to get rid of those things we really like.

Sussi’s mum bought her another pair of beautiful shoes which were white this time. Sussi was so happy when saw her new white shoes.

A long, long time ago, a boy called Franz was living in a city called Adventurevil. Franz loved many people, his grandparents, his parents and also his friends, who were living in the house beside his, who were called James and Sarah.

Franz liked playing video games with the guys and Sarah liked playing with her dolls.

They used to meet up every night to talk about Franz´s dreams. He said that his latest dream was about pretty mermaids and beautiful fairies who granted all kind of wishes.

He also dreamed that the earth was amazing. Some people thought he was crazy but he always said that when he was sleeping, he felt as if he was in other world.

His friends James and Sarah pretended to believe him, because it cheered him up. Franz always said that his parents did not believe him, but he knew his dreams was real.

He was different from other children because he dreamed about a fantastic world.

Years passed, and Franz spent his time travelling to different parts of the world, always saying what he had dreamt. His friend Sarah had become one of the best ballet dancers in the world, and James was an important player.

Each of them were following their dreams, but they still saw each other, and continue to be very good friends.
