Here I am Going to share one other stuff for you for simple method to display Control Panel as Menu in Windows XP. It saves your time as yo can directly open file/folder from Control Panel without opening it.

For These you have to follow the following method in windows xp

Method:-

Simply right click on Taskbar
Select Properties
Click on Start Menu
At the top menu bar and put a check on Start Menu

And then click on Customize.
Now select Advance in the top menu bar and under Control Panel put a check on Display As A Menu
And click on OK.
Now press Apply and then OK

You Are Done!

Edit Windows Registry to view hidden files

Sometimes some notorious viruses can corrupt your windows registry. This can be really troublesome.

These viruses will lie hidden in your computer folders. The worst is that these cannot be seen by enabling 'Show hidden files' in folder option. Some times it will also not allow you to change the folder options!

Don't think you are helpless. You can directly edit the windows registry and activate the feature: 'Show hidden files'. This is really easy. Just follow the steps:
1) Click on Start -> Run.
2) Then type regedit and hit OK — It will give you options to edit the Windows registry.
Now navigate through following path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE –> SOFTWARE –> Microsoft –> Windows –> CurrentVersion –> Explorer –> Advanced –> Folder –> Hidden –> SHOWALL
Here, double click and check the value of 'CheckedValue'. Change it to 1 (base hexadecimal)

Save you changes and you are done.
Now you can view the hidden folders.

[How to]Create Nameless File or Folder in Computer

It doesn't make any sense to me to make a file or folder without naming it. Why would I create a folder which is nameless but yeah if you have some evil plans like wanting to hide something from your family who aren't geeks, why not try and hide it in some weird places in your computer but don't forget where you placed them, tricks are always useful isn't it?

So, I am going to share a simple trick which enable you to create a nameless file or folder i.e.,file or folder without a name in it.

Here's the step to create it.

Just create a new folder and hold Alt key and type 255 on the number pad at the same time.

For laptop users, press Fn and hold Alt key and press the letter keys kii to make use of number pad

Your nameless folder is ready.

Another method

Just create a new folder and hold Alt Key and type 0160 on the numpad at the same time.

Reason - This puts an ASCII code instead of typically qwerty keys or say that they are using the special character which resembles 'space'.

But If you wanted to create another nameless file or folder in the same directory?

For this you will have to rename the file or folder with 2 space. Here's the step involve to get it work.

Select file or folder and press F2.

Hold Alt key and type 0160 from numpad.

Release the Alt key, Now without doing anything else, again hold Alt key and type 0160.

Press enter and you will have second nameless file or folder in the same directory.

Repeat step3 to create as many nameless file or folder in the same directory.

Note:- I tried this tricks on windows XP and Home vista. The rest OS supports or not, I can't say but you guys can help out if you can share your experience here.

Trick To Delete Undeletable Files

Hi to all loving readers

I am very thankful to you all for your huge support I am very happy from your support and very thankful to you all.

Recently one of our reader SANDIP asked me for that he want to delete some files from his computer but all files are undeletable means when he trying to delete them it shows Error !. so he can not delete it . so I am going to help him for delete those all file.

Sometimes it is not possible to delete files and folders in Windows OS. It is common now-a-days. You will get prompts like "This program is in use" or anything similar to that.

You can delete those files and folders easily by using Safe Mode with Command Prompt.

Just Follow These all simple steps:-

First find where the file is in your computer. Suppose if the file name is "abc.txt" and if it is in the "My Documents", then the complete address will be,

C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents

Please Note Down the address in paper

Then restart your computer. When it boots press F8 key.

When it boot you'll find Advanced Boot Options Menu.

Then goto Safe Mode with Command Prompt section.

Now computer boots in DOS prompt. Then type,

cd C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents

Then type, del abc.txt

Congrats, now the file is deleted!
