Coffee at King's X Restaurant

I shot this on assignment for a local magazine. I was sent to shoot some photos to capture the essence of the restaurant. This one was my favorite, although it probably wasn't the most appropriate for the assignment and wasn't ultimately selected. That's okay.

South Dakota Ice Fog

The day after Christmas in South Dakota. The ice fog turns the sky white and coats everything in a thick hoar frost. It's hard to tell where the ground ends and the sky begins, and without landmarks it would be frighteningly easy to get completely lost. It's frigid and forbidding but it's beautiful.
