Sands of Boracay! Ughhhh! Felt like I was stepping into talcum powder. All the frustrations I had yesterday was drowned by the sea. We did lots of activities to make up for yesterday’s mess. First was suit shopping, can’t believe they sell swimwear for as low as 200 without quality being compromised. I got 3 bathing suits for 1200 and 2 cover ups for 500. D’mall products are x2-3 of regular price in small boutique stands along the coastline of white beach. Second activity was helmet diving. It was fun and scary! The helmet was 30kg and you bear it in your shoulders for 30 minutes but of course buoyancy helps to lighten the weight. Third was the Flying Fish. It was the most fun and thrilling part of all the activities we did. I shouted my vocal cords out riding the pseudo fish! Jazzy, my brother’s gf and my Atsi’s husband literally were thrown off the fish. It was so fun! The fourth was  Paraw Sailing. We relaxed, feeling the breeze of the sea in our cheeks. I wish we had beer with us. I booked Cebu Pacific flights MNL-Caticlan, one 14:35 and the other one at 15:25. Kalibo-MNL flights via Air Philippines 14:40 and 16:20. Days before the trip two airlines called me and said that “this” flight is cancelled and must be rescheduled in this time and this time. Problems were solved. On the day of our flight to Caticlan, our first flight which consists of my mom, atsi, her husband and my brother’s girlfriend went well although delayed for an hour. While our flight; me, dad, ditse and Nhylle was delayed for 2 hours and detoured to Kalibo. I was freakin out! It was already late and an addition of 2 hour land based travel from Kalibo to Boracay was insane! But what else can we do? Dealt with it and moved on. Almost 8 hours at the airport and we’re about to board the craft when they informed us that a landslide happened in Kalibo and detouring us was impossible. We have to stay in a hotel in Manila for a night, care of the airlines. Nhylle cried. I felt like crying too.
