Yesterday, Ahjib Gor, the Prime Minister of Malaysia visited my hometown, Sitiawan.

It still sounds amazing to me. I mean Sitiawan ? Out of so many big cities they pick a kampung like Sitiawan. Probably once in a lifetime thing which is why Sitiawan was so congested yesterday.

At astaka. Government so efficient la ! All the roads repaired, done in a week just because the PM is coming. He should come more often la.

Its kind of clear the objective of this whole event through this picture no ?

The public could grab their free dinner early in the evening but for the VIPs, we had to wait till ahjib gor arrives and everyone finishes their speech.
Chua Soi Lek, two others and then Ahjib gor. It was 10pm when we finally got to eat :O

So anyway there were performances by Dennis Lau with a saxophonist and flutist (don't know who they are but I assume they're kind of famous) Then there was Victor Wong, better known as Ping Guan. His voice was mesmerizing la ! Me and sis rushed to the front hoping to shake his hands or something but missed the chance.

In the midst of my disappointment, fatty came up to me and told me he passed by Ping Guan on the way to the VIP toilet and fatty totally ignored him. Cousin who passed by him didn't even notice :O

There were also performances by Surthi, Zainal Abidin and also lion dance by world champion lion dance team (according to emcee). All in all, the performances were amazing.

Just when we thought everything has ended and was heading back to the car, the fireworks started firing. I should call this the most epic moment of my life.

I've seeen the Sydney NYE fireworks, but nothing compares to this. On a big field with NOTHING BLOCKING YOUR VIEW. No waiting for 10 hours for a good view, no squeezing with people. Just us alone, right in front of our eyes.

The night was simply amazing and damn was I glad I chose to go instead of stay at home. On the way back there wasn't even much traffic jam which was really surprising.

Though the event was memorable, the people there wasn't. I don't know how many times I got molested by random aunties trying to squeeze by me. I shall end this blog post with a picture that proves my point.

Was awaken from my beauty sleep at 10am yesterday by a friend going "We're outside your house right now, open door. Just kidding, we'll be there in 15 mins"

Learning to let go.

I've always hated the word "let go".

Which is why I still have Disney magazines I read when I was 11 hidden in my cupboard somewhere, notebooks that are at least 10 years old, old pictures, letters, even pencil lead cases (I'm serious, I actually keep those in case they stop production or something, then I have something to hang on to wtf i know)

The uncertainty of life makes me want to hang on to everything. I'm even considering buying all the Disney movies on DVD so that my future kids can watch, and also learn how to make kompiang in case no on else in Sitiawan ends up inheriting the business. I hate changes in my life, and I hate having to let go of something and continue life without it.

But then again, recently I have been thinking. If there were no changes at all, I would have such a boring life. I will never get to meet new people because I stick to my old friends, I will never get to leave Sitiawan and will eat kompiangs while I watch Lion King and Spongebob for the rest of my life :O That would be so boring. My life would be so dull, nothing new will ever happen.

Ok fine, I'm writing this with a particular person in mind but then I made it into a whole general thing because I think I should be throwing all my old pencil lead cases instead of worrying whether buncho will go bankrupt or not.

Whether you want it or not, life changes, feelings change, people change. Its inevitable. Which is why i've finally come to realize, why letting go and moving on is so important.

Once, I convinced myself, things wouldn't change, feelings wouldn't change. It would be like this until, idk, until I want it to end ? But now looking back I'm laughing at how foolish I've been. How many times must I go through this before I actually learn ? There are so many things out there I've yet to see, so many people I've yet met.

You once asked "What if something weird happens and we don't talk anymore?" Well, I guess now you have your answer.

Even though it has ended up like this, I'm still grateful I met this certain someone. Funny how in the middle of SPM I had so much time to be thinking of everything else other than my studies. Friends to not on talking terms, the sudden change is pretty upsetting, but that's life isn't it ? You just have to put the past behind you and actually look forward.

I'm not just learning to let go of feelings or a person, but also things I've found hard to let go of. School, band, pencil lead cases (dafuq).

So yes, a new year, a fresh start. Time to let go of old things and open my eyes to new beginnings.

This doesn't deserve a blog post but I really don't want to turn into a temporary travel blogger. I bet everyone is already bored of Australia, which explains my decreasing blog hits, I don't even get as many comments anymore ! :O

I would be lying if I told you life has been hectic. With Korean drama yes, but with everything else, no. Most people has gone to college / NS / OBS and aren't in Sitiawan so there weren't a lot of hangouts either.

I should be helping mum but once there was a person who said I have rich mistress hands,

which I kind of agree. So not my fault I cannot wash dishes LOLOL.

Super motivated to lose weight after coming back from Australia.

but yeah, I lost all motivation to go jogging already.

South Island, NZ

New Zealand was beautiful, relaxing. The best scenaries I've ever seen. Conquered South Island starting from Christchurch down through Dunedin, Invercargil, Queenstown, Franz Josef, Greymouth, then back to Christchurch.

Honestly, it is not a place you would want to travel in for more than a week, let alone live for the rest of your life. EVERYWHERE you go, it's just grass, trees, cows or herd of sheep.

And there are practically NO ONE on the roads !

NOT a place where I would like to have a punctured tire / run out of gas.

So ok, I find it very lonely and emo but I'm glad, VERY GLAD, to be back home with people talking and cars honking around me. Noise pollution never felt so good.

Christchurch, New Zealand

Landed in Christchurch, New Zealand and headed straight to the city because everyone was excited to see the aftermath of the February earthquake.

We were extremely lucky because the day we arrived was the last day visitors were actually allowed to visit the affected area.

The whole city was practically under construction.

Demolition taking place. According to the news, some parts of Christchurch might never be able to be reconstructed again.

There was another tremor right before Christmas when we were at Queenstown. Apparently only dad felt it, everyone else was too busy searching for a toilet. #truestory

Went back to Christchurch on the last day and headed on to the suburbs to see more affected area from the December earthquake.

It has been 10 months but the state of the whole city was as if it just happened yesterday. It was nothing anyone could've expected and many loved ones were lost.

I'm actually having really mixed feelings right now because the end of 2011 indicates the end of high school. Everyone would be in different paths after this year. It kind of makes me want to hold on to everything. 2011 has been one of the most memorable years to me and I can't believe its coming to an end.

I'm not gonna list down what I've achieved because I think I've done it in my birthday post and I don't think those little achievements are worth bragging about either. boohoo.

I'm not gonna make a long list of new year resolutions like losing weight or not getting a bf cos I'm not gonna keep those anyway so here's just one :

For 2012, I'm gonna try my hardest to be a better blogger, well not just a #crap blogger but well an actual one LOL. I'm also gonna overcome that 1GB/month rule my hostel set and also be a better blog reader to all you bloggers out there.

But yeah, 2011 has been a really amazing year. Though I wasn't always at the top. There were times when I was thrown into darkness by some evil giant who fed me so that I could be eaten when I'm fat enough. Then again, that was #crap though I really did fatten up. Like 10 kgs or something wtf.

My friends really helped pulled me through this year. I could totally be myself with them because they just make me feel so, at home. They even make SPM easy.

And no I'm not exaggerating. We were still having after Physics ice cream and hanging out etc etc. I didn't really get to hang out with you guys much after SPM because I'm in Aussie wishing I could be home at church musical or something. I'm so gonna miss you guys next year ;(

So hello here I am, thousands of miles away, celebrating NYE 3 hours earlier than all of you. Gonna be camping for 12 hours tomorrow just to have a good view of the amazing Sydney fireworks.

I hope your 2011 was as awesome as mine and I hope 2012 would be even better.

At like 5+ I got a msg from Kenny saying Ivan is REALLY ANGRY with what I said and he would be cancelling the party. Out of kancheong-ness I rushed to his house to apologize and say I was joking, just to have him pass me this note :

The day I've been waiting for since I stepped into secondary school has arrived.

The last day of SPM

I actually expected myself to feel MORE after SPM but then, it just feels like, meh.

It feels just like every typical day. I come home from school, I sit here, I blog, I chat, I download some dramas. Not the super special feeling I expected.

So now that the most major exam of high school is over, I want to just take a break from everything before I move on to the next phrase of life.

I will be leaving for Australia the New Zealand this Saturday so I only have like 3 days to celebrate after-spm. Which kind of suck in some way. Not that I'm ungrateful for getting to go overseas with my family. Its just that, I feel like I have so much more to do here.

But fret not, I will be back in January for a month so don't miss me now HAHA.

Chinese paper finished at 1 just now. I rushed home, showered, had lunch and rushed to the cinema for a 1.30 show. BBQ party later, BBQ party tomorrow. HAH, yes life is still somehow still hectic :)

I really wanna fit every second of my time left here with all the people I love. So that 10 years later, when everyone / everything changes, at least I still have some memories to hold on to. I may not feel the same feelings I am feeling now 10 years later but right now, all I want is to live the moment. Spend time with people I want to spend time with, say the things I've always wanted to say, and appreciate every second of it.

A little excited to know whats gonna happen next, but a little sad to know that I'll have to leave some stuff behind.

Someone said life starts now. I guess it does.

Just now, looking at all the people smiling at the magazine, looking at our hardwork printed on paper, I can't help feeling proud of the EB team.

Throughout the production of the magazine, we faced tons of problems.

Some people hurled discouragement, problems and obstacles at us.

We even lost our workplace.

but that didn't stop us at all. Which makes me DOUBLE proud of the EB team for overcoming all these throughout the year. Especially our chio / pretty editor :D

Last few weeks I checked out my earnings from nuffnang and immediately rewarded myself for being a hardworking blogger. HA HA !

After checking out from Nuffnang, I went straight to Yesasia and bought myself

Honestly, I kind of regret not getting Jacket B instead. Not only is it cheaper, it also has a 100 page concept photobook, which means more pictures of the boys looking like lou sais and plus I already have their 1st concert photobook.

but nevertheless !

Credits to yesasia ! Wrapped in 4 layers of bubble wrap to ensure its delivered in perfect condition ! :D

Yeah well the contest ended today at 12pm and I lost by 8 votes.

Contest was supposed to end last night (when I was leading and have no internet connection due to the lightning) but deadline was postponed till this afternoon at the last minute. The judge's decision is final and results will only be announced on the 15th of December so I don't know what I would be getting YET.

But this blogpost is to thank EVERY ONE OF YOU who helped me because without ANY of you, it would be pretty impossible to get so many likes.

I should never underestimate the number of people who read my blog.

I've always thought that people who read my blog are either bloggers / friends / close friends / family but WRONG.

Recently I've come to realize that I actually have people from school reading my blog. It kind of makes me satisfied that someone cares to read about my #crap but at the same time worried. I mean, my arch enemy who has been trying to device a plot to kill me in my sleep might be reading this while throwing darts at my picture. I dono there's a possibility.

I also found out that there are people who read my blog that find me RACIST and somehow caused much discomfort and uhm dislikeness ?

So yes, this blogpost is to clarify that, for all my past posts, I've never *underline underline bold bold bold underline ; font size 70* intended to offend anyone.

Yes I write to express and I know explaining this kind of thing totally isn't something I would usually do BUT YOU KNOW I CANNOT SLEEP WITH THIS GUILT.

Ok lied again, I slept like a pig yesterday. It just keeps on bugging me.

Last Friday, 2PM held their first ever concert in Stadium Negara !

Dad got rockpit tickets for cousin from Sydney too cos he wouldn't let me go if I were to go alone.

Wanted to go queue up at 1pm but then after many Lee family conversations and lunch, I ended up reaching Stadium Negara at only 4pm.

There was already a massive crowd outside the stadium doors.

Some hardcore fans even came the night before at 8pm to wait.

Some fans even quarreled when they found out someone cut queue.

Thanks to my height, I had to tiptoe and stretch my neck for 2 hours straight.

Few days ago mum came home from KL and told me she bought me stuff.

Red for Christmas 2011 !

Last year's theme was golden but red looks so much christmassy :D

For those of you who do not know, I know NOTHING about make up.

I don't know what mascara does and I've always wondered which part of the eye do you actually line with the eyeliner so yes you are allowed to imagine the ugliest surprised face possible when mum said it was for me. :O

According to mum its a really good buy since its much more expensive to buy them separately. I have no idea what this colour pallete does. Is it the thing you spread on your cheek ?

I really want to call today a bad day.

but then calling today a bad day would be very disrespectful to everyone who has been nice to me today. So I found the perfect solution.

Today is a bood day.

It started off with me waking up to a sprained ankle. IKR WHO THE HECK WAKES UP TO A SPRAINED ANKLE ? AND NO I DONT SLEEP WALK. I PROBABLY DREAMT OF MYSELF PLAYING FOOTBALL -______________________-

Right after leaving my house, I randomly flipped through my bag to find that I did not have my exam slip with me (required to take exam).

So mum had to fetch me back home, hunt for my exam slip, then endure 10 minutes of nagging but I think God was really giving me a hand.

Cos i don't usually RANDOMLY check my bag for exam slips.

The good part of today was I got to have my favorite lunch and got to chat with my favorite people. Thanksgiving is around the corner and I'm making big fatty & his gf buy stuff for me. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA. REALLY REALLY want Vans sneakers which is like 30USD but REALLY REALLY do not need.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT.

After lunch, got text from Starplanet saying

I WON TIX TO 2PM HI5 SESSION !!!!!

Jumped around the house with a then very painful ankle

just to realize 5 minutes later the event is tomorrow.

I have Physics paper tomorrow.

My one and only chance to have physical contact with Taec.

Went for second paper after lunch and while loudly talking to my friends, a good Samaritan came up to me and handed me my identification card.

"Saya dapat kat tepi jalan" (I found it by the roadside)

I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW I LOST IT AND SOME AMAZING PERSON JUST WALKS UP TO ME AND HANDS IT TO ME. THANK YOU GODD :)

Had to limp in the rain after that.

Felt so pitiful I could give myself a dollar to make myself feel better. HA HA.

Tesco performance.

ACS Military Band performed last Saturday at Tesco Manjung.

At first everyone felt kind of embarrassed but after much thought, it seems even more embarrassing if we didn't have any audience so we KIND OF last minute advertised on facebook.

I met someone I haven't seen in a long time and the first thing he said to me was

"Shu ! eh you plump d" FML yes I know it is kind of obvious I somehow gained nearly 10 kgs in 2 years. T______________________T No wonder I have no bf.

Plus it has been raining nearly everyday so even if I wanted to go jog I couldn't.

So mum, being all pro-health and pro-skinny her went and bought all these.

Cruncher and bicycle.

I've always been amazed at people who can cycle with no hands.

NOW I CAN DO IT TOO HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

just.. on a stationary bicycle.

Now I can jog during rainy days ! :D

After the previous osim vibrating machine died, mum got another one that supposedly helps lose belly fat but since no one has tried it yet and it looks weird, so no pictures LOL.

Today was officially the last day of school and as I write this, my tears just can't stop flowing. The place I've called school for the last five years is now history.

Cara-cara menghadapi tekanan SPM

Marcapada ini, masalah tekanan pelajar SPM semakin gawat. Masalah ini jika tidak ditangani dengan sebaik mungkin, calon-calon SPM berkemungkinan besar menghadapi tekanan jiwa dan terpaksa dihantar ke hospital bahagia.

Peranan ibu bapa amat penting. Pada musim peperiksaan, ibu bapa sepatutnya memasak makanan yang bukan sahaja berkhasiat malah sedap. Ibu bapa yang tidak pandai memasak juga boleh menggunakan cara alternatif dengan menge-tapao MCD ataupun KFC. Calon-calon SPM pasti akan mempunyai semangat berkobar-kobar yang amat luar biasa.

Guru-guru juga boleh memainkan peranan dengan memberi maklumat tentang soalan bocor yang dikenali sebagai "tips". Calon-calon SPM bukan sahaja dapat mencapai keputusan yang cemerlang (dan juga mendapatkan biasiswa, meringankan beban kewangan ibu bapa kerana untuk melanjutkan pelajaran ke institusi pengajian tinggi menelan perbelanjaan yang amat besar. Cukup beli KFC setahun.) , guru-guru juga dapat mengharumkan nama sekolah.

Namun, usaha yang paling penting jatuh pada bahu kerajaan.

Jika kerajaan membubarkan SPM, pastilah calon-calon SPM hidup dengan lebih bahagia. Hospital Bahagia pun boleh menampung lebih banyak pesakit yang betul betul gila.

Kesimpulannya, semua calon SPM akan hidup dengan lebih bahagia tanpa peperiksaan SPM.

I kind of abused my right hand with the hairdryer just now causing it to hurt real bad right now and thus I can't really write.

So yeah, here I am, instead of studying for SPM which is 3 days away.

Not fair, the other band members are going on a trip to Penang I oso wan T____T

Anyway I need to find something to do cos I can't really do anything with this defective hand. Typing doesn't really help but having it hurt while doing something enjoyable is better than hurting my hand studying Physics. This is alot of blab. You probably understand 0.1% of what I just said.

Ok maybe my hand didn't hurt just because of the hairdryer part. Maybe it was also because I tried to act heroine by carrying a lot of chairs just now. :/

Back to my point. So you guys remember I've mentioned Beanipets before ?
