interview on Kanal 35 TV and TV Kayseri, November 22nd, 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR:
Masha’Allah, people think of religious statements as usual moral statements as very plain issues, and there are some aspects of this they don’t concentrate on. The fact is there are many secrets in the religion. One of these is patience. People live unbelievably comfortably and well thanks to patience. Patience totally eliminates all the obstacles to true love. Without patience, human beings are very sensitive entities, they will finish friendships in just 15 minutes, not even half an hour, when they become fixated with something someone said, a lack of interest on their part or any answers they may have given on any subject. That is enough for them to finish it. They can come up with the most terrible distortions. They can misunderstand something perfectly reasonable or the other party can really behave unreasonably, only doing it once or twice, but people are still open to real love. For that reason it seems almost impossible to maintain the bonds of true love among people, and that this can be seen only very, very rarely. In other words, many people in the world face this problem.
If you ask, as I was saying just yesterday, they will say they have one real friend, or maybe two, that is all. One needs great care and attention for true love to flourish, because unless people are very wise, very careful and attentive, and unless they know the other person really well, they will constantly clash and begin to behave in a way that the other person finds repulsive. Ignorance, for instance, has a very negative effect on people, but a wise person avoids ignorance, and he can educate himself, and increase their store of knowledge. But people do not regard ignorance as important. Yet it has a huge negative effect, for instance being unwise has a very negative effect, but one can educate ignorance out of people if one loves. The important thing is to decide to love. If you educate someone, their ignorance can vanish by time, being unwise can vanish in time, because once one follows the Qur’an one also becomes highly wise as long as he is clever. One has to educate them patiently, and direct them in such a way that they will love Allah.
It is very dangerous to try and make someone love you; that is always futile in the end. That is how it is. Someone who causes another to love Allah, also makes them love him. In other words, one needs to direct people to the source of true love, not to insist that they love us. Once they love Allah, they will love the other person as a manifestation of Allah. Otherwise their behavior will be very odd, and human beings are utterly helpless creatures with all their natural needs -without the soul, just a piece of flesh-. But the manifestation of Allah in them, His radiance, excites people, and Allah then creates love. In other words, there is a power in the heart known as love, an unknown power, not something deriving from flesh and blood. It is a light bestowed by Allah, a special emotion. And it grows in proportion to people’s faith; the more love for Allah a person has, the more human love he will have, too. People with little love of Allah have little capacity for love, they are too weak.
For example, the souls of the prophets were full of love; they loved animals, their wives, their children, their communities and the people around them. They loved plants and flowers. Our Prophet (saas) was like that, for instance. He was very, very patient and attached great importance to wisdom, regarding it as a manifestation of Allah. He had roses he loved very much. He loved plants, and cats, and his grandchildren. He used to laugh and joke with them. People normally expect a prophet to be serious all the time, but our Prophet (saas) was always very genuine and spontaneous toward Hazrat Hassan and Hussein. They used to come and sit by their grandfather as he performs his prayer. They would come and sit on top of him. He would have to wait for them to sit up from his prostrations. One of the companions prostrated himself in prayer, and when he sat up he saw that his grandson was sitting on top of our Prophet (saas), and that he would not raise his head until his grandson did so. Anyone else might have led the child off or got angry. He used to play catch with his wives, and joke with them, and was full of love. He would embrace Hassan and Hussein wherever he saw them, and was full of love for the children of other believers. He also had a great love of trees, and a love of everything beautiful, and he was exceptionally compassionate, as well as being exceedingly patient.
For example, somebody would say something, but he never grew angry and always answered in a pleasant manner. Many people became Muslims because of his patience. For example, he forgave Hazrat Wahshi, who martyred Hazrat Hamza, didn’t he? That is great patience. At the same time, he did not become angry, he was able to control his anger. He showed him affection for Allah’s sake, and he also became a very valuable person. Many people who saw him became Muslims in the same way. But there is a lack of patience today, a lack of patience can cause severe conflict between children going to school and their mothers, between mothers and spouses, between grandparents and grandchildren. For example, we should be more flexible toward the elderly, more tolerant and warmer. Because we should not necessarily seek logic in the elderly, and if their behavior defies logic, then affection must enter the equation.
There is no question of anyone always being in the right. The word “exasperation” is used a great deal. The Qur’an mentions the word. People become exasperated with their parents, whereas they should treat them with affection, shouldn’t they? If one is a believer, a mother or a father who fears Allah, one should treat them with great affection and be forgiving toward them, thus maintaining the bond of love. The reason why marriages fail is again a lack of patience. The husband or his spouse comes home late one day, for example, and a huge row develops. But there may have been a reason why he or she was delayed. We are all human. That is an unnecessary suspicion, isn’t it? One needs to have patient in this case, needs to be patient in trust, needs to be patient in putting one’s trust in Allah. If people live by these things, the result will be excellent, high-quality individuals, insha’Allah.

The above interview transcript is from the official website of Mr.Adnan Oktar, the renowned author known all over the world by his pen name Harun Yahya. (Surah Hud, 101)

People tend first to blame other people rather than themselves whenever they encounter a difficulty. They maintain that they have made mistakes because of something done by other people. Whereas they should be seeking the real problem within themselves. Because the material and spiritual harm that one can inflict on oneself can assume far greater dimensions than that stemming from other people.

Satan and lower self are entities specially created by God in order to test us. To the end of one’s life they strive to lead one into negativity. Allowing oneself to be misled by any of the promptings of satan or one's lower selfs can result in the very gravest harm.
God has revealed in the Qur’an that everyone who seeks refuge in Him and who thinks in the light of the Qur’an can easily be saved from these negative promptings. Wasting time on false whisperings, negative feelings and a mindset inspired by satan that shatters one’s courage and leaves one in a state of bewilderment seriously impinges on one’s physical and mental vitality and, most important of all, is incompatible with Qur’anic moral values.
It is wrong for a believer to allow himself to be bound hand and foot by such a state of affairs that obviously originates from satan. It is the height of stupidity to knowingly allow oneself to be drawn into a system that will conflict with Qur’anic moral values and do grave harm to one. Moreover, a believer has no time to waste on idle whisperings, to invent artificial problems for himself and then seek to resolve them. The life of this world is very short and believers’ responsibilities do not permit them to waste time in this way. The existence of people all over the world who live far removed from the moral values of the Qur’an, and the fact that Muslims are oppressed in many parts of the world, stirs the believer’s conscience. He will refuse to waste even a single moment on the hollow fripperies of earthly desires.

Heedlessness

“But people are prone to selfish greed. If you do good and guard against evil, Allah is aware of what you do.” (Surat an-Nisa’, 128)

In this verse, Allah warns us against greed and to do good and guard against evil. Muslims know that everything around them and everything that happens is created by Allah. They know that envy is a sin and thus never fall prey to such moral weakness. They never come anywhere near such a mindset. They regard beauty as Allah’s beauty and delight in it as such. They never chase after money, goods or property, and regard property as a manifestation of Allah’s artistry, and take pleasure from it accordingly. However, people who do not live by the moral values of the Qur’an generally never find themselves in that situation. They seek to own everything. In fact, they inflict serious harm on themselves. Someone who falls prey to greed cannot be happy and cannot take pleasure from beauty.
In situations where greed raises its head they imagine that they are their surroundings are independent of Allah. They imagine that beauty, intelligence and wealth belong to the individual concerned, and compare that person with themselves and thus fall prey to envy. They imagine that superiority lies in obtaining these things. But a believer is eager never to fall into such heedlessness. They carefully refrain from attributing any independent identity to others or themselves. They never forget that superiority lies in fear of Allah, and that all things belong to Allah and are under His control. That is what makes Muslims permanently happy and contented.

Friedrich Nietzsche – An ill mind who praised violence

The German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche is a 19th century thinker influenced by the neo-paganism attendant to Darwinism, and who expanded on it, thus helping to establish the foundation for fascism:

Nietzsche was born in a village near Leipzig in 1844, and was fascinated by Greek culture, learning Greek at an early age. In 1868, he began studying philosophy in the Swiss city of Basel. Nietzsche hated divine religions, such as Christianity, Islam and Judaism, but was fascinated by the pagan culture of ancient Greece. He formed a close friendship in Basel with Wagner, the best-known composer of the age. Wagner, who had come to fame with his Die Götterdämmerung (The Twilight of the Gods), was a German racist who was also fascinated by pagan culture and hated divine religions. (Wagner would be regarded as Germany's greatest cultural genius throughout the Hitler period).

Nietzsche's publisher, Peter Gast, called Nietzsche "one of the fiercest anti-Christians and atheists." Another testament to Nietzsche's hatred of religion is the title of his book Anti-Christ. In his book Thus Spake Zarathustra, he tried to set up an ethical system beyond divine religion. According to H. F. Peters, Nietzsche's biographer, his philosophy rested on Roman and Greek paganism, and in his writings he called for "a new Caesar" to transform the world.

Nietzsche had a particular hatred of the ethical views of Christianity, Islam and Judaism. In his opinion, concepts such as love, compassion and humility, must be abandoned and replaced with a so-called "master morality" which accepted the warlike and ruthless state of nature. In Thus Spake Zarathustra, he wrote, "Of all that is written I love only what a man has written with his blood. Write with blood, and you will experience that blood is spirit."

Nietzsche was also a racist. He maintained that one part of mankind was composed of übermensch (superman), and that the others had to serve and obey them. Furthermore, he claimed that these so-called "supermen" would found an aristocratic world order, a theory which was put into practice by Hitler's armies at the start of the Second World War in 1939.

These two aspects of Nietzsche's philosophy, his racism and reverence for violence, are allied closely to Darwinism. Nietzsche's thought was in fact strongly influenced by Darwin. Darwin's discrimination between the different races conformed closely to Nietzsche's perception of "superior and inferior peoples." Nietzsche also adapted his hatred of religion with the atheism of Darwin.

In his book Darwin's Dangerous Idea, the Darwinist writer Daniel C. Dennett describes Darwin's influence on Nietzsche in the following way: "Friedrich Nietzsche saw …an even more cosmic message in Darwin:...If Nietzsche is the father of existentialism, then perhaps Darwin deserves the title of grandfather." Dennett explains in great detail how Darwin and Nietzsche's ideas run parallel, and although Nietzsche seems to criticize Darwin in some of his writings, he gives many examples where Nietzsche clearly approves of Darwinist thought.

The likeness of those who disbelieve is that of someone who yells out to something which cannot hear-it is nothing but a cry and a call. Deaf-dumb-blind. They do not use their intellect. (Koran, 2:171)

After Nietzsche's death, the most important exponent of his philosophy was his sister, Elisabeth Nietzsche. She stood out as an avowed supporter of Nazi ideology in Hitler's Germany, and announced that her brother's model of the "Superman" had been brought to life by Hitler.

Nietzsche's influence on Nazi ideology is a reality that has been stressed by a great many historians. W. Cleon Skousen writes that, when "Hitler wrote Mein Kampf, it was as though Nietzsche was speaking from the dead." Another historian, George Lichtheim, writes, "It is not too much to say that but for Nietzsche the SS-Hitler's shock troops and the core of the whole movement-would have lacked the inspiration to carry our their programs of mass murder in Eastern Europe."

As the historian H. F. Peters puts it, many have cursed Nietzsche as "the father of fascism." In his book, The Myth of the 20th Century, the Nazi ideologue Alfred Rosenberg openly praised Nietzsche. Hitlerjugend (Hitler Youth), the youth wing of the
Nazi movement, took Nietzsche's Thus Spake Zarathustra as a sacred text. Adolf Hitler had a special monument erected in Nietzsche's memory, and incepted the foundations of an educational center and library "where German youth could be taught Nietzsche's doctrine of a master race." Finally, the Friedrich Nietzsche Memorial Building was opened by Hitler in August 1938.

Nietzsche's influence was not limited to Germany, it was also important in Italy, the birthplace of fascism. The poet Gabriele D'Annunzio, who may be regarded as the inspiration behind Mussolini, was greatly influenced by Nietzsche's philosophy. Historians note that D'Annunzio's successor, Benito Mussolini acknowledged a debt of gratitude to Nietzsche as well.

The disasters inflicted upon mankind by fascism, which Nietzsche had inspired, provide historical evidence of just how harmful were the German philosopher's Darwinist ideas. Nietzsche, who opposed the divine morality that God revealed to mankind to show it the true path, and who proposed taking mankind to the modern age by replacing that morality with a brutal and oppressive society, had put forward Darwin's idea that man is a species of animal, and divided man into superior and inferior races, is the best example of the dark reality into which a lack of religion draws individuals and societies. Moreover, Nietzsche's life itself serves a warning.

At 44 he was taken to a mental hospital, where his illness grew steadily worse, until he died raving mad. In 1902, a doctor called P. J. Mobius warned people "that they should beware of Nietzsche, for his works were the products of a diseased brain." But the Germans had great respect for the diseased philosophy of this disturbed mind, and so Nazi Germany was born.

Nietzsche died of syphilis in a state of mental decay in a lunatic asylum. His private life was no less troubled or diseased than his philosophy.

Like all those who have ever denied the existence of God, he met a very unpleasant end.

Do not let those who rush headlong into disbelief sadden you. They do not harm God in any way. God desires to assign no portion to them in the hereafter. They will have a terrible punishment. Those who sell belief for disbelief do not harm God in any way. They will have a painful punishment. Those who disbelieve should not imagine that the extra time We grant to them is good for them. We only allow them more time so they will increase in evildoing. They will have a humiliating punishment. (Koran, 3:176-178)

Reference:
- H. F. you will immediately recall the mark in the middle. This mark is designed to help those who take a half dose. Every product that we see around us, even if not as simple as the aspirin, is of a certain design, from the vehicles we use to go to work, to TV remote controls.
Design, in brief, means a harmonious assembling of various parts in an orderly form designed for a common goal. Going by this definition, one has no difficulty in guessing that a car is a design. This is because there is a certain goal, which is to transport people and cargo. In realization of this goal, various parts such as the engine, tires and body are planned and assembled in a factory.
However, what about living creatures? In every creature, there are examples of extremely well-conceived design. If we continue further on this quest, we discover that we ourselves are also a part of this design. Your hands that hold these pages are functional as no robot hands could ever be. Your eyes that read these lines are making vision possible with such focus that the best camera on earth simply cannot achieve.
Hence one arrives at this important conclusion; all creatures in nature, are of a design. This, in turn, shows the existence of a Holly Creator, Who designs all creatures at will, sustains the entire creation and holds absolute power and wisdom.
One can easily recognise how Allah "gives sustenance" to all living things once one looks around oneself conscientiously and with wisdom. All our food and drink are things that are "made" and "created". The water we drink, the bread, fruits and vegetables we eat are all the results of a special creation. Just as Allah sustains human beings, so does He sustain the animals. It is by no means difficult for one to understand the might and omnipotence of Allah if one conscientiously examines, within the boundaries of wisdom and logic, the systems with which animals are endowed to get their food. Each animal is one of the great examples Allah has spread out on the earth.
Unity, cooperation, self-sacrifice, devotion… These are regarded as exemplary qualities in all societies. Every human being would hope to live among individuals who possess these virtues. But these proper moral values can be observed in the world of animals.
Honeybees sting, even kill any animal that threatens their hive. But in stinging, they will have committed suicide. The barb of their sting breaks off in the adversary, taking with it part of the bee's lower abdomen and some of its internal organs. As we see here, the bee sacrifices its own life for the survival of the rest of the hive.
Male and female penguins protect their young even to the death. Both parents are totally devoted to their young. The male penguin shelters its baby between its legs for four months and during this period, it cannot feed. The female penguin goes in the sea, hunting for food for the baby and transports it back in its gullet.
The crocodile is one of the most ferocious animals, but the female crocodile shows astonishing devotion to her offspring. Once they hatch from their eggs, she carries them to the water in her jaws. From then on, she will keep them either in her mouth or on her body until they become self-sufficient. When the baby crocodiles encounter danger, they instantly seek refuge in their mother's mouth.
The crocodile is not just ferocious, but also an animal devoid of reason and logic. It would not be surprising, therefore, if she were to eat her young for food instead of protecting them.
Some animal mothers are forced to leave their own communities until their offspring are weaned, which exposes them to great dangers. Many species look after their young after they are born or hatched for many days or months and, in some cases, even years, providing them with food, shelter, warmth and protection from predators. Many species of birds feed their fledglings between four and 20 times an hour throughout the day. Mammal mothers have a different set of problems to deal with, for while suckling their babies, they need increased nourishment and therefore, need to hunt for more food. While her baby gains weight, she continues to lose it.
Animals without foresight or reason could be expected to desert their offspring at birth, because they could not be aware that those tiny creatures signify the survival of their species as a whole. Yet instead, they take all the responsibility of caring for their young entirely upon themselves.
We must not disregard one important point: None of these animals possesses the intelligence or awareness to make such decisions or to create such a protocol. How is it, then, that they can set a common goal to which they all adhere—and that their chosen aim can be the most effective of all?
No doubt it is God, the Lord of all the universe, Who created these creatures, inspires them to the most befitting behavior, and guards them at all times.
God reveals His protection over all His creation as follows:

There is no creature on the Earth which is not dependent upon God for its provision. He knows where it lives and where it dies. They are all in a Clear Book. (Surah Hud: 6),

It is not easy to survive in the hot, barren land of Middle East. But tiny Arab Birds manage to survive in these difficult conditions. Because they display amazing solidarity and cooperation among themselves. They do everything together. Even bathing. As they dry their feathers, they clean each other. All the food they find is later shared out equally. The defense of the flock is also shared out equally. Every bird takes its turn to stand guard in a tree top. When the time comes for the changing of the guard, the new sentry brings a quantity of food to the bird he is to replace, and then takes over.
Why should an animal stand guard over its friends? One would expect it to fly off and look for something to eat. But what it actually does is a great sacrifice. It stands guard like a soldier, seriously and determinedly, eating nothing. Who taught these creatures about altruism? Who tells them to endanger their own lives for the sake of their friends? There can be no question that it is the Almighty God, their Creator, who instilled these feelings of unity, cooperation and sacrifice into these tiny birds. Thus, a believers compassion towards animals is a reflection of his/her love of Allah. When a sincere Muslim examines such cooperation and solidarity in animals, he praises the creation of Allah. That is because God created living things. And it is God Who gives them feelings of affection, self-sacrifice and sharing that the theory of evolution can never account for.

Allah’s art of portraying matter as if it really existed

Allah had created the universe within a perfect order. He has created the world and every detail within it with a flawless artistry, in such a way as to amaze the beholder. We see an image of that perfection in our brains. The original of matter does exist on the outside, but we only directly experience the image that Allah creates in our brains. The whole world is technically aware of this, but Allah has created that image so perfectly that people forget that it is only that, an image. Believers, however, never forget that as stated in the verse “You did not kill them; it was Allah who killed them; and you did not throw, when you threw; it was Allah who threw: so He might test the believers with this excellent trial from Him. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.” (Surat Al-Anfal, 17) Allah enfolds and pervades all things and that everything is an image created by Allah.
Scientists have made use of all the opportunities provided by the latest technology to produce televisions and other visual systems. Yet despite all their research, experiments and progress they have never obtained an image as clear as those shown to us by Allah. There are no flaws in the image created by Allah, no blurring and no loss of clarity. Indeed, Allah creates the feelings that convince us of the reality of these images together with them. We touch, taste, smell, and feel pleasure, happiness and fatigue. Obviously, matter cannot be the cause of these perceptions. The fact that Allah causes us to experience these sensations although we can never have direct experience of matter proves the existence of the soul.
Allah has created a test in this world in order to bring out true believers. But the fact that Allah portrays matter as if it actually existed causes many people to fall into error. This why people become caught up in this world and forget Allah. This where true believers manifest themselves. Because knowing that everything consists of an image that Allah creates in the mind draws believers even closer to Him. That knowledge increases their fear of Allah and their understanding of His might and artistry, and therefore draws them closer to Him. Allah has revealed the error of those who deny Him in another verse: “But the actions of those who do not believe are like a mirage in the desert. A thirsty man thinks it is water but when he reaches it, he finds it to be nothing at all, but he finds Allah there. He will pay him his account in full. Allah is swift at reckoning.” (Sura an-Nur, 39)

Islamic Moral Values Enshrine Freedom of Belief

When the religion of Islam that has been sent as a salvation from the presence of Allah is explained to a person, he believes on his own will and decides without being subjected to any kind of compulsion or duress. People are free to choose truth or error. If they make the wrong choice, they will face its consequence in the Hereafter.
In matters of belief, Islam offers people complete freedom with a very open and clear language. This perception which was valid ever since Islam was first revealed, forms the basis of the Islamic morality. The verses on the subject are perfectly clear:

There is no compulsion where deen is concerned. Right guidance has become clearly distinct from error. Anyone who rejects false deities and believes in Allah has grasped the Firmest Handhold, which will never give way. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (Surat al-Baqara, 256)

According to the Islamic morality, people are free to choose whatever beliefs they wish, and nobody can oblige anyone else in subjects of belief. When a Muslim meets someone whom he wants to have faith, he only has the liability to communicate Islam and to explain the existence of Allah, to state that the Qur'an is the book of His revelation, that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is His messenger, to explain the existence of the Hereafter and the Day of Judgment and the beauties of the Islamic morality. However, such liability is only restricted to communicating the religion. In one verse (Surat an-Nahl), Allah informs us that our Prophet (pbuh) also is only a messenger:

Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and fair admonition, and argue with them in the kindest way. Your Lord knows best who is misguided from His way. And He knows best who are guided. (Surat an-Nahl, 125)
Another verse states, "... It is the truth from your Lord; so let whoever wishes believe and whoever wishes do not believe..." (Surat al-Kahf, 29)

and our Lord addresses our Prophet (pbuh) as, "Perhaps you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not become believers." (Surat ash-Shu'ara',3).In the Surah Qaf Allah issues our Prophet (pbuh) this reminder:

We know best what they say. You are not a dictator over them. So remind, with the Qur'an, whoever fears My Threat. (Surah Qaf, 45)

When the religion of Islam that has been sent as a salvation from the presence of Allah is explained to a person, he believes on his own will and decides without being subjected to any kind of compulsion or duress. People are free to choose truth or error. If they make the wrong choice, they will face its consequence in the Hereafter.
People are free to choose correctly or wrongly. When Islam--the true path that Allah has revealed--is explained, they come to believe of their own free will, reaching this decision with no pressure being put on them. If they make wrong choices, they will face its consequences in the Hereafter. On this subject, one verse of the Qur'an contains the clearest command and reminder:

"If your Lord had willed, all the people on the earth would have believed. Do you think you can force people to be believers?" (Surah Yunus, 99)

For example, one person may immediately come to believe in the face of a believer’s preaching, while another mocks and attacks it. One person may use his conscience and decide to live in the way that is pleasing to Allah, while the other may join the deniers and respond to fine words with ugly ones. But that denial will never inspire despair or sorrow in the person issuing the call. In Surah Yusuf Allah says:

“But most people, for all your eagerness, are not muminun. You do not ask them for any wage for it. It is only a reminder to all beings.” (Surah Yusuf, 103-104)

What's important is that no matter what reaction he meets with, the person who abides by the Qur'an keeps on displaying the kind of morality that is pleasing to Allah, refuses to make any concessions on it, and puts his trust in Allah. Allah has told us that His religion is to be explained “in the kindest way” as revealed in the Qur'an:

“Argue with the People of the Book only in the kindest way--except in the case of those of them who do wrong--saying, "We believe in what has been sent down to us and what was sent down to you. Our God and your God are One and we submit to Him." (Surat al-‘Ankabut, 46)

We must not forget that all events, great or small, happen in the framework of the destiny created by Allah. And it is Allah who bestows salvation on someone who is invited to believe. For that reason, believers are never troubled by deniers’ behavior. There are many instances of this in the Qur’an. In the verse “Perhaps you may destroy yourself with grief, chasing after them, if they do not have iman in these words”(Surat al-Kahf, 6), Allah tells the Prophet (saas) not to be troubled if the people he calls on to believe in the Qur’an fail to do so. In another verse we are told “You cannot guide those you would like to but Allah guides those He wills. He has best knowledge of the guided.”(Surat al-Qasas, 56) Therefore, one’s invitation, fine words and all the details one set out will only have any effect in the event that Allah so wills it. (Harun Yahya, Only Love Can Defeat Terrorism)
The only responsibility of a believer is to call people to the Qur’an. He bears no responsibility for deniers persisting in their denial and therefore earning punishment in the Hereafter. Our Lord reveals this to the Prophet (pbuh) in the verse “We have sent you with the Truth, bringing good news and giving warning. Do not ask about the inhabitants of the Blazing Fire.”(Surat al-Baqara, 119).
Allah has given mankind both reason and a conscience. His messengers and the Divine books revealed to them have shown the true path, and people are responsible for their own choices. Islamic morality can be lived only by a sincere decision to do so--by surrendering oneself to Allah and listening to one's conscience, which always commands one to do what is right. It is a total violation of Islamic morality to force anyone to believe, because what matters is an individual's surrendering himself to Allah with all his heart and believing sincerely. If a system were to force people into a religion and worship, people would appear to be religious because of their fear of the system.
From a religious perspective only religiosity lived for Allah and based on free and conscious choice is acceptable. Allah says the following to our Prophet (pbuh) in the Surat al-Ghashiyya:

“So remind them! You are only a reminder. You are not in control of them. But as for anyone who turns away and is unbeliever, Allah will punish him with the Greatest Punishment. Certainly it is to Us they will return. Then their Reckoning is Our concern. “(Surat al-Ghashiyya: 21-26)

It also needs to be emphasized that Islam leaves people free to make their own choices regarding religion and commands them to respect other religions. Even if someone believes in a superstitious faith, as the Qur'an describes it, still he can live in peace and security in Muslim lands and freely perform his own religious obligations. In verses Allah commanded our Prophet (pbuh) to tell those who denied Him:

"I do not worship what you worship, and you do not worship what I worship. Nor will I worship what you worship, nor will you worship what I worship. You have your religion, and I have my religion." (Surah Qaf, 2-6)

Under the morality of Islam, everyone is free to carry out his religious obligations in accord with his own particular belief. Nobody can prevent any others from performing their particular religious duties, nor can he oblige them to worship in the manner he desires. That violates the morality of Islam, and is unacceptable to Allah. In the Islamic history a model of society emerges in which everyone is free to worship and perform the obligations attendant upon his particular chosen beliefs. In the Qur'an Allah describes monasteries, churches, synagogues, and the places of worship of the Peoples of the Book as all under Allah's protection:

“... If Allah had not driven some people back by means of others, [then] monasteries, churches, synagogues and mosques, where Allah's name is mentioned much, would have been pulled down and destroyed. Allah will certainly help those who help Him--Allah is All-Strong, Almighty.” (Surat al-Hajj, 40)

Our Prophet's (pbuh) life is full of such examples. When Christians came to see him, he left his own mosque for them to use and pray in it. That kind of tolerance was maintained during the times of the Four Rightly Guided Caliphs who succeeded the Prophet (pbuh). After Damascus was captured, a church that had been turned into a mosque was divided into two, so that Christians might worship in one half and Muslims in the other. (You can obtain detailed information on the subject from the web site www.harunyahya.com, which is based on the works of Harun Yahya.)

Our Prophet (saas) Was Full of Love and Tolerance
In the Arabia of the time of our Prophet (pbuh) there were communities with many different faiths, cultures and ways of thinking. Jews, Christians, Sabaeans, Nestorians and pagans all lived side by side. There were also many tribes that were hostile to one another despite sharing the same faith. (Harun Yahya, The Prophet Muhammed (pbuh))
But our Prophet (pbuh) called everyone to the deen with the same affection, patience, tolerance and love, no matter what their religion or tribe is. This excellent attitude of the Prophet Muhammed (pubh) is described thus in the Qur’an as:

"It is a mercy from Allah that you were gentle with them. If you had been rough or hard of heart, they would have scattered from around you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them, (Surat Al ‘Imran, 159)

A Muslim only has a responsibility to describe the deen of Allah. The other person will only come to belief and salvation by the will of Allah. Nobody can compel anyone else to believe or to worship. Our Prophet (pbuh) was punctilious about this command of Allah, and often said that people could only live by the deen when they did so voluntarily. In one hadith our Prophet (pbuh) says:

"I was sent as a tolerant, seeker after Allah (one from the faith of the prophet Ibrahim(as)), and whoever opposes my Sunna is not one of us.” (El-Cami's Sağir, 1. 427)
Elsewhere he tells believers "I was sent to be compassionate and a peace-maker...” (El-Cami's Sağir, 1. 427). This superior moral virtue of the Prophet (pbuh) is expressed as follows: "Someone who responds with gentleness (who controls his earthly passion) when angered will merit the love of Allah!” (Esbahani: Hazrat Aysha)
There are many hadith concerning the compassionate, loving and tolerant qualities of our Prophet (saas). For example, the Prophet (pbuh) says: “Allah will have no compassion on he do has no compassion for other people.” (Buhari and Muslim) Other passages read: "Be merciful, that you may be shown mercy. Forgive, that you may be forgiven. Shame on those who speak too much. Shame on those who know their sins but presist in them.” (Ramuz El Hadis, Vol. 1)
"Allah is loving and merciful, He loves gentleness, and what He gives from gentleness He gives with nothing else.” (Kütübi Sitte Translation and Commentary, Vol. 7)

The great Islamic scholar Imam Gazali summarizes the information he collected in the hadith regarding our Prophet’s (saas) attitude to those around him: "He was far from knowing anger and quickly showed compassion for things. He was the most loving of men toward other people. He was the most auspicious of men and did the most good to others, and the most useful and beneficial to others.” (Huccetül Islam Imam Gazali, İhya'u Ulum'id-din, Vol. 2)
The human love, consideration and affection of our prophet (pbuh) that bound those around him to the deen and warmed their hearts to faith is a superior moral virtue that all Muslims must concentrate on. These moral virtues of our Prophet (pbuh), a role model for all mankind, are revealed in Surat at-Tawba: “Your suffering is distressing to him; he is deeply concerned for you; he is gentle and merciful to the muminun.” (Surat at-Tawba, 128)
Love, affection, tolerance and compassion are shared virtues among the envoys sent by Allah as guides to salvation. Allah reveals in the Qur’an that He has bestowed “sensitivity to love” on other prophets, and cites the Prophet Yahya(as), on whom He bestowed knowledge from His presence, as a model on this subject. He describes this holy personage as having “...tenderness and purity from Us - he had takwa.” (Surah Maryam, 13)

Pls see :http://www.nocompulsioninislam.com/

Would that there had been more people with a vestige of good among the generations of those who came before you, who forbade corruption in the earth, other than the few among them whom We saved. Those who did wrong gladly pursued the life of luxury that they were given and were evildoers. (Surah Hud, 116)

The verses “Truly man was created headstrong – desperate when bad things happen,” (Surat al-Maarij, 19-20) indicate the egoistic tendencies in people’s earthly desires. When people encounter situations that work against their earthly wishes or find themselves in difficulties they exhibit enormous determination and persistence to escape them. However, because of the selfish nature of their earthly desires, they fail to treat situations or troubles afflicting others but not themselves as they ought. They do not try to resolve other people’s problems with the same determination and persistence they exhibit in the face of their own.

Such behaviour has no place in Muslim moral values. A true Muslim regards a difficulty or problem afflicting another Muslim, even someone on the other side of the world, as his very own. He seeks a solution to them by employing to the utmost all the material and spiritual means Allah has placed at his disposal – his mind, intelligence, conscience, talents, knowledge and practical skills. He never says, “There are many people who are far stronger and richer, far clever and more influential than I am, who can solve these problems, so let them worry about them and put them right.”
Almost every day we see reports in the newspapers and on the television of the grave dimensions which the oppression inflicted on Muslims reaches. The world is clearly in a state of chaos. Openly aggressive policies are being implemented against Muslims. The rights of Muslims who are tortured, dragged from their homes with no explanation offered and never heard of again, imprisoned with no justification and terrible oppressed, are incapable of being protected.
There is obviously a need for strong, determined and honest Muslims, with clear consciences and full awareness to defend the rights of these wronged people. That being the case, it is unacceptable for a believer to be apathetic, indifferent or uncaring. Confronted by this, believers must stir everyone’s conscience into action. The moral values of the Qur’an require that they do all they can to encourage all Muslims of reason and sound conscience like themselves.
The result will be a glorious picture, and even the smallest step will, by Allah’s leave, be powerful enough to affect the whole world.

Free Documentary Movie

Islam denounces terrorism
This film, produced by the Science Research Foundation, a Harun Yahya institution, presents the Muslim response to and denunciation of terrorism. Beginning with the event of September 11, the film explains that all kinds of violence against civilians are crimes against humanity and grave sins in religious terms. It is also stressed that terrorism is an inherent feature of secular ideologies like communism, fascism and racism. In contrast, all theistic religions - Islam, Christianity and Judaism - are opposed to terrorism and their ultimate goal is to bring peace and brotherhood to mankind.
Download Links [ Freely available for download in Divx , flv, mp4 and wmv ]
Watch this Movie Online

The Importance of living with full attention and awareness

What! Are they in doubt about the meeting with their Lord? What! Does He not encompass all things? (Surah Fussilat, 54)

People may spend the whole of their lives in a state of acute and complete awareness, or semi-consciousness, or even total unawareness. Allah has called on people to be “aware” in many of His verses. Only in a state of complete awareness is it possible to live by Qur’anic moral values. Only with this acute awareness is the delicate conscience of the true believer possible. This full attention and clarity are essential in order to love Allah, to fear Him and hold Him in awe, to act according to the finest moral details, to preach the truth and virtues of Islam, to command what is good and warn people against what is unlawful, to compete with one another in good deeds and to set an example to other Muslims.
There are also people who spend their lives in a state of semi-awareness or even complete unconsciousness. However, it is quite impossible for such people to have a proper conception of faith and to exhibit the superior moral virtues of which Allah will approve. This is a conception that only a Muslim can manifest. The Qur’an reveals that this clarity of mind can only be achieved through faith:

You who believe! If you fear [and respect] Allah, He will give you discrimination and erase your bad actions from you and forgive you. Allah’s favour is indeed immense. (Surat al-Anfal, 29)

Every believer must reflect on this truth and make every possible effort to make the best use of this opportunity, a blessing from Allah. It must not be forgotten that a closed mind is of no use at all. It brings with it neither peace, nor rest nor comfort. Worldly passions are of no use, either. On the contrary, this is a life style that has a seriously deleterious effect on the quality of a person’s life. Even more important, it may lead to a failure to abide by the moral values of the Qur’an and to behave in a way that will be pleasing to Allah. Full attention and awareness, however, result in great comfort in this world and in the blessing of Allah in the Hereafter.

Free Documentary Movie to Download

Biomimetics: Technology imitates Nature:
Did you know that the architect of the Eiffel tower was inspired by the femur, the lightest and strongest bone of the human body? The purpose of this film is to show that the things people think they have attained with their own skill already exist in nature and to remind how wrong it is for man to be arrogant.
Download Links [ Freely available for download in Divx , flv, mp4 and wmv ]
Watch this Movie Online

Some interesting websites:

Darwinists Ask Us

Darwinists in Mourning

Darwinism is so 19th Century

Darwinists in a Pinch

By Virtue of Harun Yahya

Constant renewal and copying of DNA

God has hidden all a human being’s features in his DNA. All the information about a person, the colour of his eyes, his complexion, his bone structure and everything else that could possibly come to mind all exist in his DNA before he is even aware of his own existence. God has created DNA so as to constantly multiply itself and has thus ensured its survival. Cells mutliply independent of the will of their owner, and continuity of information takes place. Millions of details regarding the human body are perfectly copied and pass on to DNA. If a human being were to try to perform this function carried out, by God’s will, by the cell it would be very difficult to avoid mistakes in this extraordinarily complex system. Any mistake would, of course, mean the death of the cell. It is obvious that the existence and copying of DNA is one of the many facts proving the infinite might of God. The immaculate creation of God is described in the following verse:

It is He Who gives life and causes to die. When He decides on something, He just says to it, ‘Be!’ and it is. Your death is as certain as your life. But most people ignore the fact. They are so busy with worldly concerns that they behave as if they were going to live forever. Even if death does occur to them for a moment they immediately try to forget it and lose themselves in their own affairs once more.
People generally use worldly concerns as a means of forgetting about death. Soon afterwards these vehicles lead people to lose themselves in this world and to lead anaesthetised lives. A person enters a state of mind in which he forgets the hereafter and begins living in a routine cycle. The temporary concerns of the life of this world detain him in such a way as to cause him to forget that he will one day die and account for himself to God.
That is how some people live. Even if they are unhappy with the lives they lead they still, because of a failure to reflect deeply, are unable to realise the shallow nature of their lives. Yet the inevitable moment of death ordained in the sight of God is drawing closer with every passing day, hour and minute. Some who considers this truth will seek to please God by thinking about the ever-present possibility of death, rather than heedlessly wasting time on worldly concerns. He never forgets that an eternal life awaits him in the hereafter and that he must strive to win God’s approval if he is to attain paradise. Someone who lives in the knowledge that the time will come when he must account for himself in the presence of God therefore enjoys a very rational, high-quality and pleasant life. He constantly enjoys the peace and happiness that come from loving and fearing God and the joy of eternal paradise. He constantly enjoys the comfort and delight of not wasting his life on earthly matters. Yet all the blessings of the world are his, and since he regards them as a means of drawing closer to God he constantly experiences the delight they impart. Since he knows that he must account to God for every moment of his life, his every moment is rational, peaceful, honest and high quality. Yet there is also no doubt that such a person’s greatest gain is the approval of God.
Therefore, anyone acting with that awareness must live without forgetting that the date of the death predetermined for him is rapidly approaching. Living by reflecting upon that both increases his store of good deeds in this world and prepares an excellent life for him in the hereafter. The effort expended in this world to earn God’s approval is, of course, a great means of earning our Lord’s mercy and paradise in the hereafter. God knows best of all, of course.

Interfaith Union, Union of Faiths

Links to: http://www.interfaithunion.com/

Free Audio Books [Downloadable]
Free Documentary Films [Downloadable]

Websites:

Allah Exists

Global Freemasonry

Day of Judgement

Union of Faiths

Signs of the Last Day

Secret Beyond Matter

Signs of Creation

Perished Nations

Palestinian Tragedy

Resignation to destiny

A very important secret underlies the testing that takes place in the world. Believers who possess this secret confront everything that befalls them with great patience, joy and enthusiasm. The fact of "destiny" lies at the heart of this secret. Muslims know that Allah has created all things within destiny and that what befalls them does so solely because He so wishes. It is Allah Who creates people's lives, right down to the finest detail. Sura al-An'am describes how everything, great or small, that happens on Earth occurs because Allah wishes it to:

The keys of the Unseen are in His possession. No one knows them but Him. He knows everything in the land and sea. No leaf falls without His knowing it. There is no seed in the darkness of the earth, and nothing moist or dry which is not in a Clear Book.(Surat al-An'am 59)

Human beings are entities who live constrained by time and by looking at events solely from the current moment. And since people do not know the future they may not always be able to see the long-term wisdom, beauty and goodness in events. Allah, however, Who is unfettered by time and its Creator, sees and knows the lives of all entities from "outside time." It is the fact of destiny that confronts us at this point. Destiny is Allah's knowledge of all events, past and future, as one single moment. In other words, events the outcome of which is unclear are all "mysteries" for us. But Allah knows all these things that we cannot. (For details, see Timelessness and the Reality of Fate by Harun Yahya)
Therefore, the testing of human beings is one whose beginning and end are pre-ordained. The past, future and present are all one in the sight of Allah; all are already over and done with. We can only learn about them by experiencing them when the time comes.
This "knowledge of destiny" is great knowledge not granted to unbelievers. It is by means of this knowledge that Muslims are able to display such splendid fortitude in the face of all difficulties and tests in the life of this world. As revealed in the verse "No kind of calamity occurs except by Allah's permission. Whoever believes in Allah - He will guide his heart. Allah has knowledge of all things." (Sura at-Taghabun, 11) believers enjoy the ease and comfort of knowing that everything befalling them is destined to do so.
As a great blessing, Allah has created the testing of believers to be very easy. But this ease only applies to genuine believers who resign themselves to destiny. A Muslim who truly believes and who sincerely submits himself to Allah watches the constant change of images before him with excitement, thanks and gratitude. Someone sitting in a chair and watching a film in comfort also watches the destiny appointed for him with trust and joy. All the images of that destiny, that are sometimes highly active, sometimes frightening, sometimes appeal to the physical senses and are sometimes very calm, contain the joy and excitement of faith. Frightening images have been specially prepared. They have been planned right down to the finest detail. But at the end of the day they are all within the knowledge and under the control of Allah.
A Muslim aware of the fact of destiny and who grasps this secret of the test, regards all difficulty, hunger or poverty, as positive things and takes great pleasure from them. Because he knows that that the moral values he displays in the face of this test are very valuable in the sight of Allah. This is a pleasure unique to believers. Muslims never suffer such feelings as worry, stress, pain, panic or fear in the face of such woes. Because Muslims know that Allah will make all events that appear to be evil or unwelcome turn out well in the end. In one verse, Allah tells believers that "Allah will not give the unbelievers any way against the believers." (Surat an-Nisa, 141)

However, there is a point here that must not be misunderstood; believers may encounter all kinds of trouble and difficulty in this world, they may lose their worldly goods, grow physically weak, fall ill or be injured, die or be killed. However, none of these are "evils" for Muslims. Allah tests His servants by means of these and recompenses the fortitude they display many time over in this world and the next. And as a result of the testing in this world, Muslims are finally rewarded with the eternal life of the Hereafter.
Aware of this important truth, Muslims therefore feel great joy in the face of difficulty. This joy experienced by believers is also a special condition that neutralises the traps set by the unbelievers and denies them success. When unbelievers see that joy and enthusiasm at times when they imagine they have made things difficult for believers they realise they can never do them any harm. Muslims' words at times of trouble also reveal to the unbelievers their fortitude and submission. The words of believers faced by difficulties are reported in the following terms in the Qur'an:

And why indeed should we not put our trust in Allah when He has guided us to our ways? We will be steadfast however much you harm us. Those who trust put their trust in Allah.'Those who were kafir said to their Messengers, 'We will drive you from our land unless you return to our religion.' Their Lord revealed to them, 'We will destroy those who do wrong. We wll leave you the land to live in after them. That is the reward of those who fear My station and fear My threat.'(Surah Ibrahim,12-14)

Say: 'Nothing can happen to us except what Allah has ordained for us. He is Our Master. It is in Allah that the muminun should put their trust.'(Surat at-Tawba,51)

There is no doubt that all these things are the results of their submission to the destiny created by Allah. Nobody who places his trust and faith in Allah will ever suffer any fear or distress again:

Those who say, 'Our Lord is Allah,' and then go straight will feel no fear and will know no sorrow. (Surat al-Ahqaf,13)
Not so! All who submit themselves completely to Allah and are good-doers will find their reward with their Lord. They will feel no fear and will know no sorrow. (Surat Al-Baqara,112)

Yes, the friends of Allah will feel no fear and will know no sorrow:

Those who have iman and show taqwa, there is good news for them in the life of the dunya and in the akhira. There is no changing the words of Allah. That is the great victory! (Surah Yunus,62-64)

In other verses Allah reveals that servants who believe in and surrender themselves to Him are bound to a bough that will never break:

Those who submit themselves completely to Allah and do good have grasped the Firmest Handhold. The end result of all affairs is with Allah. (Surah Luqman, 22)

There is no compulsion where the deen is concerned. Right guidance has become clearly distinct from error. Anyone who rejects false gods and has iman in Allah has grasped the Firmest Handhold, which will never give way. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. He serves Allah alone and seeks the approval of Allah alone. As mentioned earlier, he does this by “striving with all due striving.”
The key to “striving with all due striving” on Allah’s way is to seek what pleases Allah most. In the face of several choices, all of which are legitimate, a believer must choose the one that pleases Allah most.
This can be briefly described as follows:
- A believer must spend his entire life doing what is “lawful.” The Qur’an makes clear which actions are unlawful, and these are indeed very few in number. Anything other than these unlawful deeds is lawful.
- In addition to this, what a believer must do is attend to the deeds and thoughts that please Allah most. In this endeavour, his wisdom and “foresight” guide him.

The example of “spending in the way of Allah” (infaq) will make this concept clearer. A believer is a person who has sold his “property and self” to Allah. He should put whatever he has to use in the way that pleases Allah most. However, he may frequently encounter many choices. Let us assume that he has a considerable amount of money with which he could buy a new suit for himself. This is indeed a legitimate and lawful thing to do; being meticulous about one’s appearance is surely something in conformity with Allah’s will. However, there may be other things to do with this money which would please Allah better. Giving it to a needy person might well please Allah more. However, this is a decision that rests entirely with the person himself. Considering the specific conditions and environment he is in, he must establish his priorities by consulting his conscience.

Another example will lead to a better understanding of this concept: A believer is responsible for “enjoining good and forbidding evil,” communicating Allah’s religion and carrying out a struggle on intellectual grounds against the tyrants in the world. Shouldering this all-important responsibility is one way to earn the good pleasure of Allah. Such a responsibility means that certain duties always take precedence. Since there are so many duties demanded by such an important responsibility, it would be incorrect to give priority to any other deed, albeit a legitimate and lawful one. For instance, a man is responsible for taking care of his family; he is the one who provides security and sustenance for the family members. However, using this as an excuse to avoid the responsibility of “enjoining good and forbidding evil” would be conduct unbecoming to a believer.
Indeed, upon reflection, we can see that the “soul” (an-nafs) is involved when one prefers what is less valuable in the presence of Allah. Preferring the less valuable to the more valuable in the presence of Allah is a consequence of setting aside a “share” for one’s soul. In this sense, what one needs to accomplish is not to be guided by one’s soul, but to go all-out to seek the total approval of Allah. Seeking Allah’s consent by a ninety nine percent effort and setting aside a one percent share for the soul may not be acceptable in the eyes of Allah. That is because the person in question has associated his soul with Allah. A mere one percent of idolatry may render his services unacceptable. The situation of those who ascribe partners to any being other than Allah is described as follows:
They assign to Allah a share of the crops and livestock He has created, saying, “This is for Allah,”—as they allege—“and this is for our idols.” Their idols’ share does not reach Allah, whereas Allah’s share reaches their idols! What an evil judgement they make! (Surat al-An‘am: 136)
As for seeking what most pleases Allah, the attitude of believers in wartime in the days of the Prophet (saas) is related in the Qur’an. In the face of two groups of enemies, believers preferred to fight against the weaker of the two. Yet it was Allah’s will that there should be a fight against the stronger. These events are related in the verses as follows:

When Allah promised you that one of the two parties would be yours, you would have preferred the unarmed one, whereas Allah sought to fulfill His promise and to rout the last remnant of the disbelievers. This was so that the Truth should triumph and falsehood be discomfited, even though the evil-doers hated that. (Surat al-Anfal: 7-8)

Finally, Allah made the believers confront the stronger party and led them to the one thing that would please Him most. Ultimately, they triumphed with the help of Allah.
The example related above is an event shaped within the conditions of that period. Yet the fact remains that in every age Muslims are put to the test through different events. Today, for instance, Muslims must engage in a struggle on intellectual grounds against those who deny the Qur’an and the facts of creation and who strive to sow immorality in society. Muslims should determine the best course to follow in this struggle they take upon themselves and then carry it out with commitment. Yet, even if one has the strength to shoulder this responsibility, if one involves oneself with issues of no great urgency only to satisfy one’s own desires, that will only incur the displeasure of Allah.
Meanwhile, we need to bear in mind that the expression, “doing what is most pleasing to Allah” is used to make the concept more comprehensible. Turning away from what pleases Allah most and involving oneself with tasks of secondary importance is in fact displeasing to Allah. Hence, that one thing that pleases Allah most is, under all circumstances, whatever is in accordance with His will. To put it another way, there is no alternative to what pleases Allah most.
For his salvation, a believer is responsible for seeking “what pleases Allah most.” Failing to do so means being unaware of the danger waiting ahead. In the face of the humiliation one will face in hell and in the presence of Allah, it is surely essential to seek “what pleases Allah most.”
A few examples of the attitude one displays in the face of dangers that one may encounter in this world and the efforts one makes to deal with them will lead to a better understanding of how one seeks what pleases Allah most:
- Assume that you are face to face with a giant torrent and the water level is rising rapidly. In this situation, would you run to the top of a ten-storey building to save yourself, or remain on the fifth-floor and say, “This place is high enough to save me”?
- Let’s assume that there is a lift that can take you to the top floor. This lift is not free of charge and it will operate only once. You have just the right amount of money to take you to the top floor. Would you give all the money you have to go to the top, or remain at a lower storey which is vulnerable to the torrent?
- Again, let’s assume that there is a party being held on the sixth-floor, where you have taken refuge. Would you attend the party or strive to find a way to the top floor?
- As another example, let’s assume that one of your close friends has had a heart attack and he or she should immediately be taken to the emergency room. In this situation, would you drive as fast as you can or not drive so fast and say, “This is fast enough, he or she must bear up.”?
As is apparent from the examples above, in the face of danger, a man becomes vigilant and does his utmost to be saved from it. The biggest threat to man is hell. One of the most important goals of a person who seeks what pleases Allah most, is his inner inclination to avoid this danger.
For a moment, let’s assume that you are on the edge of hell, around which people will be gathered on the Day of Judgement and witness its stunning images. Having seen hell, would you not choose what pleases Allah most out of a number of alternatives?
Disbelievers do their best to “make the most” of their lives, which is nothing but “a brief enjoyment” (Surah Al ‘Imran: 197). While this “brief enjoyment” is doomed to a bitter end, Allah promises His approval, mercy and paradise for believers. A believer, who wishes to avail himself of these promises of Allah, must strive hard to seek what most pleases Him. (For further reading see Harun Yahya “Devoted to Allah”)

Islam denounces anti-Semitism

Links to : http://www.islamdenouncesantisemitism.com/

Free Audio Books [Downloadable]
Free Documentary Films [Downloadable]

Relevant Websites:

Religion of Darwinism

Darwinism- The greatest lie in History

East Turkestan

Transitional Form Dilemma

Ambers Deny Darwin

Atlas of Creation

Grieving Darwinists

Darwinists in Pain

Darwinists Defeated

Burmese Ambers

Online Fossil Museum

Indoctrination we imagine to be the truth

From birth, people are brought up with a great deal of false indoctrination. They learn these suggestions and regard them as true. They have no qualms about building their whole lives around this supposed reality. This supposed reality consists of the supposition that everything actually exists. We are certain, for instance, that a television was assembled in a factory, whereas everything actually consists of images created inside the brain by Allah. Both the television and the factory we suppose the television was built in are merely images. We can never see their originals. All we experience are the copies in our brains. Yet we still have no doubt that this television was assembled in a factory, even though we have never seen it. In the same way, people are absolutely sure that they themselves exist, whereas they are in fact merely an image, and that it is they themselves who are talking. They are absolutely convinced it is they who are walking. But images cannot walk or speak. Everything is shown to us, made to be heard by us or caused to be felt in the soul by Allah. Yet despite all these facts, people are still capable of believing in unreal teachings because of indoctrination. This means that human beings are created with a predisposition to such indoctrination. This way, Allah shows us the existence of such a power of human beings.

If we were told right from childhood that everything is an image, then we would be 100% convinced of that and live our lives accordingly. If someone wishes to live according to the truth, then he or she must do so in the knowledge that everything is an image and that Allah is the only absolute being.
Our Lord reveals this in a verse:

Allah, there is no deity but Him, the Living, the Self-Sustaining. He is not subject to drowsiness or sleep. Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them but they cannot grasp any of His knowledge save what He wills. His Footstool encompasses the heavens and the earth and their preservation does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Magnificent. (Surat al-Baqara, 255)

Islam Denounces Terrorism

(Surat al-Ma'arij, 5)

Only the faithful understand the true nature of patience and live in the manner of which Allah approves, for they have accepted the Qur'an as their guide. And, only the Qur'an explains the real meaning of patience and the type of patience that is acceptable to Allah. For this reason, the only people capable of being "patient with a beautiful patience" are those who follow the Qur'an.

The source of their patience is their faith in Allah and their submission to Him. Like all of their other characteristics, patience emerges only through a true understanding of faith, because to believe is to understand that there is no deity but Allah, that He encompasses all things in His knowledge, that only Allah has the power to determine one's destiny, and that nobody can enjoy gain or suffer loss without His willing it.

One reason why the believers can show patience is because their faith enables them to appreciate Allah's might and glory. Those who know that Allah has boundless wisdom and boundless knowledge also know that only He can determine what will be the finest life for them. They know that Allah possesses all knowledge about all creatures and events in the past, present, and future, whereas people have only a limited intelligence that is prone to making mistakes in determining what is good and what is bad. In most cases, a seemingly unfavorable event may bring many benefits, although people may well be totally unaware of this. Allah points out this important truth: "It may be that you hate something when it is good for you, and it may be that you love something when it is bad for you. Allah knows, and you do not know" (Surat al-Baqara, 216).

Thus, knowing that only Allah possesses this knowledge and wisdom, the believers put their trust in Him, fully aware that whatever He wills is always beneficial, even though the benefit may not be immediately apparent. Therefore, they display true patience. In other words, one characteristic of those who have true patience is that they are people who have grasped and embraced the nature of destiny.

The Qur'an states that the faithful are patient and put their trust in Allah, as follows:

Those who are steadfast and put their trust in their Lord. (Surat an-Nahl: 42)

Another reason why the believers exhibit such a patient determination throughout their lives is their strong fear and consciousness of Allah. Just as they know that Allah has a boundless love and mercy for His servants, they also know that the punishment of Hell is eternal. Allah warns those who consider themselves too great to worship Him and who turn their faces away from Him of the torment to come. As the faithful are aware of this warning, they take pains to avoid it by being extremely careful and patient in implementing all of Allah's instructions and prohibitions. They channel their fear and consciousness of Allah into living the Qur'an's morality throughout their lives.

Awareness of this world's true face also ensures that the faithful will continue to be patient. As is stated in "We will test you until We know those of you who strive hard [for the cause of Allah] and those who are steadfast, and test what is reported of you" (Surah Muhammad, 31), Allah makes a distinction between those who show patience in their worship of Him and those who manifest their resistance by becoming impatient. As a result, He will give those who worship Him in this life noble residences as hospitality in the next, while punishing those who deny Him with an eternal, inescapable Hell.

No matter what hardship they encounter, the faithful know that such hardship is a test from Allah and so do not lose their patience. How could they, knowing that they will face the Day of Judgment and receive their reward for their fine morality? Allah's Messenger (saas) also mentions that the believers remain patient when faced with calamity, since they always trust Allah, as follows:

The example of a believer is that of a fresh tender plant. From whatever direction the wind comes, it bends it. But when the wind becomes quiet, it becomes straight again. Similarly, a believer is afflicted with calamities (but remains patient until Allah removes the difficulty). (Bukhari)

One fundamental element of patience is exactly this—the believers have certainty about the Day of Judgment and the afterlife. Armed with the strength they derive from the knowledge that they will be tested here and rewarded on the Day of Judgment for every event for which they showed patience, and that Allah gives the good news of His mercy to those who show patience, they are committed to showing patience.

As we can see, only the faithful can experience true patience, because only they have bound and delivered themselves up to a sincere faith in Allah, have appreciated His might, and put their trust in destiny. In addition, they have a powerful fear and consciousness of Allah, have understood this world's true face, and believe firmly in the afterlife.
