Akai Haato first went on hiatus back in October 2025, with the goal being the Vtuber taking a mental health break and time to recover. However, she wasn’t completely radio-silent during this period. Haachama released a number of YouTube Shorts during this time off. 

“Doll” is a track the performer released back in August 2025. At the time, no official music video appeared, even though it did show up on places like YouTube Music. Since the Vtuber will gradually be returning to her role as she feels up to it and in a healthy way, Cover confirmed that initially her resumption of activities will consist of already-prepared kinds of videos like this.

Agnes Tachyon comes with a test tube she can hold, while Manhattan Cafe includes a coffee mug as her accessory. Both feature a base that looks like turf and the race track with the guard rail.

Both Agnes Tachyon and Manhattan Cafe are available in both the Japanese and worldwide versions of Umamusume: Pretty Derby. The former is a two-star who’s been present in-game since launch. The latter three-star showed up worldwide in December 2025.

The Umamusume: Pretty Derby Nendoroids of Agnes Tachyon and Manhattan Cafe will return in Japan in September 2026, with the North American release of the figures falling in Q1 2027. The game is available worldwide on PCs and mobile devices. The anime adaptations can be found on Crunchyroll and Amazon.

As the name suggests, these are otome games based on Prince of Tennis II, also known as The New Prince of Tennis, manga and anime series. These are remasters of existing games. Sweet School Festival is an updated version of the PS2 title The Prince of Tennis: Gakuensai no Oujisama, which also appeared on the DS five years after its initial 2005 debut with a More Sweet Edition. Doki Doki Survival showed up on the PS2 in 2006, followed by a DS rerelease in 2011. Konami already confirmed content from the updated handheld versions will be present in these remasters, and it confirmed the Switch 2 ports will feature GameShare and Joy-Con 2 mouse support.

Each game involves romancing characters from different schools, such as Ryoma Echizen from Seishun Gakuen. Sweet School Festival involves falling in love while also preparing for a school festival that involves Seishun Gakuen, Hyotei Gakuen, Rikkai University, Fudomine, Rokkaku, Yamabuki, St. Rudolph Gakuin, and Shitenhoji. Doki Doki Survival involves a boat trip vacation gone wrong, with the students from Seishun, Hyotei, Rikkai, Fudomine, Rokkaku, Yamabuki, St. Rudolph, Higa, and Shitenhoji stranded with the player on a deserted island.

The Yunguo trailer appeared first. In-game, she’s a farmer-type character. When I went through the Coziness Test, some of the tasks tied to her involved growing plants and crops. Likewise, the brief video for her features her English voice acting, shows her talking about gardening, and highlights her key art that depicts her with pumpkins. It also confirms she’s a “cultivator” and her birthday is September 19th. She’s based on a red panda. 

The second new video in this Petit Planet series focused on the character Medowlyn. She is a sheep-type character who makes stuffed animals, with her official description in the teaser referring to her as a “Plushie Designer.” She doesn’t speak in that clip, so we don’t know what her English voice will sound like. Her birthday is July 5th. 

Finally, we get to see more of Msafiri in the most recent YouTube Short. His look is based on the Caracal. He’s a more adventurous type, and the footage again confirms he’s an Adventure Guide. Like the video for Medowlyn, we don’t get to hear his English voice actor, and it instead focuses on his athletics. His birthday is August 8th.

Petit Planet is in development for PCs and mobile devices, and the Stardrift closed beta test will kick off on April 21, 2026. It is still possible to sign up for that beta on the official site, as well as pre-register to play the Animal Crossing style game once it launches.

The Max Factory announcement only appeared alongside an image with a number of logos. It confirmed characters from the game Bunny Garden 2 are on the way, and they will be part of the figma action figure series. There’s no release window for the release. It also didn’t mention the identity of the heroines who will appear.

There are six characters in Bunny Garden 2, with three being returning ones from the first game and three entirely new heroines. Of the original cast, we’ve seen lots of merchandise based on them. As they’re newcomers, it’s possible these figma could focus on Erisa, Kuon, and Runa. 

Bunny Garden 2 is available for the Switch and PC, and figma figures of unspecified characters will appear in the future worldwide.

Like the first Digital Devil Saga, we control the Embryon leader Serph. He retains his ability to transform into the demon Varuna here, and he’s in the Tower of Karma dealing with amnesia and climbing toward the top floor in search of answers. Up to two allies can join him in a party at the time, and it is a turn-based JRPG with same Shin Megami Tensei Press Turn System that rewards hitting weaknesses. G-Mode also noted this does feature a 3x EXP Boost accessibility feature to aid with possible grinding issues.

This spin-off game appeared about two years after Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht, and it only appeared on phones in Japan. In the game, Ziggy is a cyborg and we meet him alongside MOMO the Realian in the game. This JRPG takes place 100 years before the first entry in the series. At that point, Ziggy was a human police officer named Jan Sauer chasing a serial killer. The events of this storyline led to his fate in the main series. 

The Steam page for the release confirmed a few details about it. As expected from a G-Mode Archives release, Xenosaga: Pied Piper will not get an official translation and will only be available in Japanese. The PC version will support Steam Cloud for saves and controllers. Five initial screenshots are also available.

While this never got an official, wider release worldwide, in 2025 fans did work on an unofficial translation.

Xenosaga: Pied Piper will come to the Switch and PC as a G-Mode Archives+ release, though there’s no release date for it yet. The original game appeared on phones in Japan.

It doesn’t take too much time in the main campaign to unlock City Town in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, which is a bonus, though you do need access to certain folks to make that happen. For example, you do need to finish the tools quests that unlock the fishing rod, snorkel, and ziplines. The most time-consuming part is getting Badtz-Maru, Chococat, Cinnamoroll, Keroppi, and Kuromi all up to level 7 friendship first, since all of them are involved with the Ship Shape quest that makes the boat spawn to go to City Town in the first place. 

What I like about the City Town questline is that it feels like every step of it unlocks something new to do in an area that ends up being huge and feeling distinct. Like while the original area in Hello Kitty Island Adventure does feel like a vacation region with lots of biomes and Wheatflour Wonderland is more fantastical and dreamlike, City Town is a more modern, urban, and even “realistic” place to live and explore. Want to run a cafe and engage in that sort of simulation? Get Usahana to level three friendship to start “A Whole New Menu” and open the Imagination Cafe. Want to head into Sewers? There is the “Above and Below” quest for that. Like if you already own the trowel, you can start off on a questline that involves Flower Plots and Sunburst flowers opening up. 

It also feels like it gives the existing Sanrio characters in Hello Kitty Island Adventure something more to do, which makes City Town itself feel more alive. As you go through the quests here and unlock more things, different characters get their own little shops and places to be. Keroppi brings up the garden in the flower-unlocking part. The custom Avatar Palette options, which is great for personalizing our characters, comes up once Kuromi’s Boutique opens with “Magic Makeover.” Badtz-maru’s Arcade’s games might not feature the most exciting minigames ever, but I appreciate the aesthetic and that it is even there. And, given the established characterization of each of these folks in the main game, the new City Town roles fit in with their love of nature, magic, and geeky things. 

Not to mention Imagination Cafe element makes Hello Kitty Island Adventure into a cafe management simulation. At the restaurant’s computer, you can order ingredients and furniture, customize the exterior, and ioen and close the cafe. Customers (Sanrio characters) will come in and make requests. You then use the Chef’s Station crafting bench to fulfill orders. This involves also selecting keywords that meet requirements placed by the people who come in, like making something taste creamy or tropical. This nets you City Coins, as well as lets you level that business up for more furniture, questlines, and customization elements. It feeds back into the main campaign in a pleasant way.

I also feel like this is a great way to handle a City Town Hello Kitty Island Adventure general release for another reason. It’s quite complete. I’m not going to spoil one part of it that’s a totally new element to it. But everything is here, immediately, and with the finale. The Apple Arcade release meant a more staggered release. We gradually got to see additions, new features, and more elements appear as the game itself grew. But on other platforms, it is all here, at once, and the result of everything piling up makes it feel bigger and more momentous. 

City Town is an enormous undertaking in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, and it’s felt like a valuable addition and expansion since its 2025 debut Apple Arcade debut. The update we’re seeing now that’s available everywhere feels even more striking and important because of how much there is to this add-on. It is a huge chunk of DLC with a lot of quests, characters, and activities tied to it. It being completely and 100% done by the time it rolled out on consoles and PC helps it feel more worth exploring at this point too. It’s an entertaining extra experience, and I’m glad more people are going to see it. 

Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available on the Switch, Switch 2, PS5, PC, and Apple devices via Apple Arcade, and the City Town DLC will appear on consoles and PCs on April 16, 2026.

The new designs will feature boxes of illustrations featuring Kirby from the 8-bit era games, such as Kirby’s Adventure and Kirby’s Dream Land. The items will be available in three color choices: MT (Multi), BL (Blue), and PN (Pink). The company will print each swimsuit with the same pattern material sheet, so ordering two pieces of the same item and color will still result in different designs.

This is the second wave of the Kirby Speedo crossover to appear. Goldwin launched the first wave in late December 2025. Most of the items from the first wave are still available to order, apart from the mesh cap and the Knappsack bag. However, the Goldwin Online Store can only strictly ship the items to Japanese residents’ addresses without any support for post office boxes and international forwarding proxies.

The second wave of Kirby Speedo Collaboration Collection is immediately available for pre-orders via the Goldwin Online Store in Japan. The new items will formally go on sale in physical stores across Japan on April 24, 2026.

There are two flavors of the Animal Crossing Switch 2 merchandise from Hori, which are ones based on Tom Nook and the Nooklings and ones inspired by Celeste. The Tom Nook items have a brown color palette and resemble wood. The Horipad also features notable NPCs like Isabelle, Blathers, and DJ K.K. Meanwhile, Celeste’s items look purple and have a starry theme.

Here are the prices:

• Gaming headset: ¥4,980 (~$31)
• Quilted pouch: ¥4,980 (~$31)
• Shoulder pouch: ¥4,980 (~$31)
• Turbo wireless Horipad: ¥8,980 (~$57)

As a note, the shoulder pouch and gaming headset only come in the Tom Nook design. Hori will only release two items based on Celeste and her aesthetic.

While these Switch 2 accessories and peripherals from Hori aren’t part of the celebrations, 2026 marks the 25th anniversary of the Animal Crossing franchise. If you open Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you can receive a letter from Nintendo on a new stationary template, as well as a statue of the iconic leaf. More merchandise to commemorate the occasion may come out throughout this year and the next.

The latest game in the Animal Crossing franchise, New Horizons, is readily available on the Switch and Switch 2, and the Switch 2 accessories and controllers from Hori will come out in Japan on June 30, 2026.

In many of these situations, it seems these are tie-in Pokemon products from major brands and companies that are limited to Target. Some are more generic store-brand items, such as the clothing, water bottles, and stickers. The Pokemon Lip Smackers options are a $4.99 Peach Spark Pikachu rolly lip gloss and an eight pack collection of glosses with Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Eevee, Mew, Jigglypuff, and Ditto on them for $11.99. NatureWell confirmed a line of perfumes that are $9.99 each, and these include Bulbasaur Green Crush, Butterfree Flutterpop Fizz, Charmander Mango Blaze, Jigglypuff Peachmallow Dreams, Pikachu Pineapple Spark, and Splash Berry Squirtle. There are two types of Caboodles cases, with one being a smaller $17.99 model with Poke Balls on the front and the other being a larger Poke Ball variant for $24.99.  

When it comes to the Pokemon Trapper Keeper designs, there are both binders and notebooks available. The binders are $16.99 each, while the notebooks are $2.99. The characters represented here are Arcanine, Charizard, Gengar, and Mewtwo with Mew. However, Charizard only appears on notebooks. 

There are two other food-based tie-ins with the Target Pokemon event joining the Pop Tarts. First, the Pop Tarts themselves are $3.99 per pack. These are vanilla cupcake-flavored and have sprinkles on them. However, there are no Pokemon designs or colors to the actual pastry. Likewise, the Sour Patch Kids Pokemon gummies only have the characters on the package and are still shaped like watermelon slices as usual. That’s $4.89. However the Pirate’s Booty aged white cheddar rice and corn puffs multipack is $10.59 and does include snacks shaped like Pikachu’s head.

In Wild Arms 4, Jude’s hometown is assaulted by strange enemies who break into the area. When investigating these Congressional Knights, he notices they’ve captured a girl named Yulie and mistreating one of their allies named Arnaud. As a result of rebelling in an effort to free Yulie and save his family and neighbors, the whole area they’re in crashes to the surface of a planet called Filgaia, and the new trio heads out to find out what’s going on and fight back. Sony did note this will feature quick save and rewind features and upscaling. However, it didn’t mention if the known crashing and freezing issues in the PS2 release are patched in this version. 

This means four games in the Wild Arms JRPG series will be playable on current consoles both via PlayStation Plus Premium and piecemeal purchases. The first three games already appeared there. However, Wild Arms 3 is shown as a $14.99 title that’s only available on the PS4. The listings for the first and second games show them as being compatible on the PS4 and PS5. Both of those are $9.99 each if purchased individually via the PlayStation Store.

Wild Arms 4 will join the PlayStation Plus Premium Game Catalog collection for PS4 and PS5 players on April 21, 2026, and we should also see it launch on the PlayStation Store as a standalone purchase at that time. The original game appeared on the PS2.

It’s the Elation Trailblazer’s Technique and Ultimate abilities that are the two supportive moves in Honkai: Star Rail. The Technique is called We are so Back. It will have a random effect to boost Elation and will affect every character in the party. The May the Trailblaze Fly You Starward Ultimate is okay for any member of the party, since it will remove Crowd Control debuffs and temporarily increase damage dealt by critical hits. However, it is best used on Elation characters since it is also tied to Punchlines, gives them Certified Banger, and lets them immediately use their Skill. (HoYoVerse noted someone who isn’t Elation will have “their action advance.”

The other moves are based on dealing lightning elemental damage. The Make Some Noise basic attack damages one enemy. The standard Let the Storm Rage Skill hits all enemies and grants the Trailblazer Certified Banger status points. The character’s Elation Skill is called I Said, “Elation,” Did I Stutter. When that’s used, it deals lightning damage to enemies randomly one at a time, then ends with every enemy taking damage. 

This is one of three five-star characters who will be available after the 4.2 Honkai: Star Rail update. The Lvl 999 Silver Wolf alt will debut during that patch, and so will the new unit Evanescia.

Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the Elation Trailblazer arrives alongside the and the 4.2 update on April 22, 2026.

The gimmick behind this Tamagotchi is that you only raise the Mametchi character. This is the recurring character with big eyes, blush on their cheeks, black ears, and a yellow body. The announcement teased 20 versions of the characters who could appear based on the pet’s appearance since the devices debuted in 1996. As this is a color model, it will feature a changing background to match the ones from the devices as well, and versions of the character from color devices will be in color. There will also be UI and minigame changes that reflect the generation represented. Also, as with the themed Tamagotchi Nano models like the Hello Kitty ones, other virtual pets in the series will stop by to visit your Mametchi as guests. 

Here are the first infographics highlighting the characters who will appear and hinting at some of the minigames.

There are also some initial photos of the two designs available. Both reference the 30th anniversary of the toys. However, one features a translucent yellow case and the other is a solid blue case with Tamagotchi designs. 

The Tamagotchi Nano Colorful line is a relatively new series for the virtual pet. The first one was a Detective Conan model, and that was followed by Hololive Vtuber, Blue Lock, and Precure variants. None of those three types appeared worldwide. 

The Mametchi Memories Tamagotchi Nano Colorful 30th anniversary virtual pet models will appear in Japan in August 2026. There’s no word regarding a worldwide release yet.

Nintendo shared three images to show how the Bulbasaur’s Jump Rope Contest event will work in Pokemon Pokopia. You can tell if the event started in-game by finding and talking to Bulbasaur. The character will mention an actual jump rope contest is in effect. Normally, playing the minigame is just a dialogue option after approaching the Pokemon. You then need to jump as many times as possible. So far, the only confirmed reward to earn is the trophy. We don’t know what other prizes we can get.

As a reminder, if Bulbasaur isn’t immediately showing up, it is easy to make the character appear. Head to the area where they live, then use Honey on the habitat to summon the Pokemon. Honey is acquired from investigating glittering flowers or gathering ones dropped by Combee. As Bulbasaur is one of the first characters you meet, odds are they live in the Withered Wasteland area unless you moved them. 

It seems we’ll regularly see these sorts of limited time events in Pokemon Pokopia. In March 2026, one appeared starring Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff. All three aren’t normally available in the game, but by going to Dream Islands you could collect Cotton Spore items to trade for furniture and flower seeds you could use to set up certain habitats for those characters. Once the event ended, you could also create a home for Hoppip and move that character in. 

This was followed by a one-day April Fools’ event. During that one, we needed to talk to Pokemon on April 1, 2026. If we completed their quizzes, we could claim an Inflatable Sudowoodo item. 

Pokemon Pokopia is available for the Nintendo Switch 2, and the Bulbasaur’s Jump Rope Contest event runs between April 19-26, 2026.
