Loved how the day went by today. Met a few furry friends and sent mine to a grooming centre that for once it is opened by a friend.

This is Mo looking handsome and all!

I have been sending Mo to a few places for grooming around town and I think I finally found the right place. It's Le TORO and its nothing better than knowing a friend who runs the show there, Squido Ng.

Kek Lok Si Temple

Free and easy day #2 before we meet up the friends in penang. We did our very own touring and after laksa we climb up the temple from the very bottom. The wifey didn't wanted to as she was lazy to climb but i made her (... cough)

Like what Jessy says, what's next? I bring you the Kek Lok Si temple.

Climb from the very bottom to the top top top, paid a couple of ringgit and go up up up!

Its my first time doing this gong thing, usually when I come here we won't reach this far or one or two will just say there's nothing to see there.

After doing the gong( 3 times), you are granted 3 wishes. Haha. Not entirely true but somewhat there lah.

Next, we went even higher! Have you ever taken a lift that goes forward? I have :)

Laksa hunting

The next day started off with food hunting, oh wait every time we in Penang the only thing we do first is laksa. So laksa it is..

This laksa place is the famous one near kek lok si temple however the locals no longer come here. Most probably because all tourists or none locals eats here and so the gravy became diluted

The wifey mentioned that sugar canes are actually quite dirty because they are usually placed next to the drain or inside, yucky come to think about it. But hey we had sugar cane 0.o` *sweat*

This is us while waiting for our bowl of laksa.

How it tasted?
Not really diluted but the whole bowl is filled with vegetables. The noodles was just too little, but then again we are here to eat just a little bit right?

Now you see, now you don't! Finished with left over veges.

Sunday Post - Pizza Day

Today is pizza day!

Went out early for breakfast and ordered dominos for lunch. It's gonna be a lazy Sunday and i can foresee that the day is going to be pizzas and a lot of TV.

Going up north

We started driving up north to Penang slightly later in the afternoon as the queen needed to submit her proposal. When that is we started our journey with an extra baggage.. rachel.

Anyway it was nice of her to tag along as the both of them were entertaining while i was driving.
Took aproximately 4 hours and 30mins for us to reach and first thing after checking in and dumping our luggages (including rachel) we went straight to Gurney Plaza for a short walk as it was raining.

Then...

We ate this and this and that.

Gong Xi Fa Cai 2012

"Bai Nin" or visiting has never been this fun for a long long time. Its visiting time to your house, his house, and my house.

First we went to smashp0p's place. He prepared lunch for us, wowww.. (domino's pizza). Cheh.

It's in our nature to receive red packets and play a small round of poker. Next is my place.

So it was from Bukit Jalil, to Subang, to Ampang and then back to PJ. Fuhhh it's like up and down up and down but it was a fun convoy. Next is Bryan's place.

Bryan's mom was super "Ong" also mean lucky. She won quite a few rounds of poker. Bryan did pretty well himself at the end. Next is Ewin's house.

The game changed, they played "in between". It look pretty fun but i had to run early to my bosses place at mont kiara. Every year Ewin's mum will make this cute little dish and we all loved it each time.

This year's chinese new year has been fun and it is still on for another 8 days. I had so much fun visiting houses with these guys and never had so many "ang paos" for a few years already. I am liking this year, the year of the dragon!

"Sau Kong Chau" usually happen before chinese new year and for those who are working. We usually have lunch or dinner with the colleagues and close friends. After that its all about the holidays. The longest holiday ever and most of the private companies will be off for a week.

So here we are at Grand Imperial, had loads of meat meat meat and meat.

Working overtime in Penang or maybe not, haha!

When everybody goes, OMG your doing OT? I'd say, hell yeah to overtime!

...to do this OverTime that is, haha! Anyway Sirens Media did a lou sang with fellow bloggers at Wisma Fiamma (Opposite Kepong Tesco) and of course free flow of beer all night long.

They were greeted by "Choy San Yeh" (God of Prosperity) upon arriving at the entrance.

So what they did?

Lou sang together with loads of properity of course! Anybody bought the lottery after that? Got kena ah?

This is Yee Ing, and knowing that OverTime is famous with their Starker beer she had one mug of good solid beer.. or maybe more o.O'

It's that time of the year again where you have to leave behind old scars or what ever difficulty that succumbs upon you and expect or work things out towards the brand new year.

Every year this time around I will be helping my partner out with NYE events and this time we are at sohoKL and desa park city.

The guilt of not having time spend with the other half is terrible but it is something I can never avoid. She understands, and its a sign of maturity.

I wish you all the best in 2012 and make the best of what you have in 2011, else forget about it.

Guess what! I was one of the first few who witness a great launch event by Panasonic Malaysia. With the James Bond theme, a well edited and somewhat funny video was played ending with the sexy bond girl riding on a BMW motorcycle on screen which then came in vigorously into the ballroom!
