but there are so many dog breeds that I can't stop making them.

Today we will make one more dog, a 3D poodle.

We will need:

- size 10/0 seed beads of two colors: the main color and black color. Out of the main color beads we will make the dog's head, ears, body, legs and tail. You can choose any color you like as the main color. It can be white, brown or apricot color and even light blue as mine. Out of black color beads we will make a nose and eyes, so we need only three such beads;

- wire 0.2 mm thick.

Read more »

Bull in brick stitch

As you know, 2021 is a year of the Ox in the Chinese zodiac. On our site we already have a tutorial on how to make a 3D bull and today we will make another bull, a flat one. For beading we will use the technique of brick stitch. It is a simple beadwork that can be made fairly quickly if you have some experience in brick stitch beadweaving.

We will need:
- seed beads of seven colors; I used seed beads #8/0 of light-yellow, pink, gray, black, blue, grayish-pink and red colors;
- beading thread (use any kind of thread you prefer to work with) and one or two beading needles (depends on your style of making a ladder stitch chain).

Read more »

Goat in right angle weave

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg92dscz0i13b95bIPAm5ZTxJeFHUzzoToJjrlz3Y6S1imOIBPd8mkQ2nMae71iObHunb4Ri2nVDGMdGGUtSmh6kyjgV6WXNQsWabUGZjQSVKGuGNGoJeOLan-Ik3PKQmIJ4cn02a_VBI8C/s1872/beaded-goat-001.jpg" Today we will make beaded earrings that look like snowflakes. If you don’t need earrings, such snowflakes without ear wires will look great as individual decorative elements.

We will need the following materials:
- size 8 seed beads of two colors (I used seed beads of white and gray colors);
- wire 0.2 mm thick;
- two ear wires.
- seed beads #10 (I used seed beads of white color);
- round beads 4 mm and 8 mm in diameter (I used 4 mm round beads of light gray color and 8 mm round beads of light blue color);
- wire 0.2 mm thick.

Today we will make a football (in American variation - a soccer ball) out of beads.
We will need:
- seed beads of two colors (I used size 8 seed beads of light-yellow and black colors);
- a wooden or rubber ball to fill the inner space of the beaded ball (for size 8 seed beads you need a ball of 3.8 cm in diameter);
- nylon threads of two colors (the same colors as the colors of beads);
- one or two beading needles (we will use the beading technique of brick stitch, so you can do with one needle only).
- wire 0.2 mm thick,
- aluminum or copper wire 1 mm thick for the base of a stem (I hadn’t got such a thick wire, so I’ve made a stem out of a wire 0.3 mm thick, folded in 8 rows),
- green thread for stem winding,
- a basket, vase or pot into which you’ll place the flowers.

Thinking of the next beading tutorial, I wanted to embody a few ideas in a single item:
- at first, I wanted to make a beaded item for Valentine’s Day,
- at second, I wanted to make an item of beaded jewelry and most of all, a necklace,
- at third, that beaded item should be quite simple and shouldn’t need complicated weaving techniques and a large variety of materials,
- at fourth, despite of the above mentioned simplicity that beaded item should be original, elegant and attractive.

As a result, I made a necklace with heart-shaped elements and pearl beads. I called it the ‘Pearls among hearts’ necklace.

To make this necklace I used the beading technique of cubic right angle weave (CRAW) and a very simple range of materials:
- red color Czech seed beads of two sizes: 10/0 and 8/0,
- 10 mm pearl beads of white color,
- clasp for a necklace,
- nylon fishing line 0.2 mm thick and one or two beading needles (depends on the stringing method you use for making CRAW).

We continue our seasonal series of beading tutorials on winter and Christmas beadworks. As you know, the 2016 year is the Year of the Monkey in the Chinese zodiac. We already have a tutorial on a flat beaded monkey in brick stitch on our site and today we will make another monkey, in the technique of 3-D beading on two segments of wire.

We will need:
- size 10/0 seed beads of four colors: red, pink, black and white;
- wire 0.2 mm thick.
We will need:
- two 12 mm round beads of red color,
- size 8 Czech seed beads of orange color,
- size 10 Czech seed beads of yellow color,
- two ear wires,
- nylon fishing line 0.25 mm thick and one or two beading needles (depends on the stringing method you use for making CRAW).
We continue a series of keychains with zodiac signs. Today is the turn of Scorpio. For beading we will use the technique of brick stitch.
We will need:
- size 8/0 seed beads of five colors; I used seed beads of light-yellow, gray, brown, yellow and green colors,
- nylon fishing line 0.25 mm thick and two beading needles (as usual in brick stitch, you can do with one needle only).
Today we will make a bracelet out of seed beads of two sizes and large round beads. I called it the ‘Autumn colors’ bracelet. To make this bracelet, we will use the beading technique of cubic right angle weave (CRAW).
We will need:
- 12 mm round beads of red color,
- size 8 Czech seed beads of orange color,
- size 10 Czech seed beads of yellow color,
- clasp for a bracelet,
- nylon fishing line 0.25 mm thick and one or two beading needles (depends on the stringing method you use for making CRAW).

Holidays are coming sooner than you think! Maybe, it’s time to think about Christmas? As you know, the next 2016 year is the year of the Monkey in the Chinese zodiac. That's why today we will make a beaded monkey. It is a simple beadwork that can be made rather quickly if you have some experience in brick stitch bead weaving. This monkey, for example, can be used as a Christmas decoration or you can give it to your friends and family members as a Christmas gift. Everybody for sure will like it.

We will need:
- size 8 seed beads of six colors; I used seed beads of brown, pink, white, gray, red and black colors;
- nylon fishing line 0.25 mm thick and two beading needles (as usual in brick stitch, you can do with one needle only).

Today we will make a bracelet using the technique of 3D beading. This bracelet is very elastic, therefore it does not need a clasp. It stretches easily when being put on the arm and takes its usual shape instantly after that.
To make this bracelet we will need:
- size 8 seed beads of two colors (I used seed beads of turquoise and yellow colors);
- nylon fishing line 0.2 mm thick and two beading needles.

We continue a series of keychains with zodiac signs. Today is the turn of Cancer. For beading we will use the technique of brick stitch.
We will need:
- size 8/0 seed beads of eight colors; I used seed beads of light-yellow, gray, pink, brown, yellow, red, green and blue colors,
- nylon fishing line 0.25 mm thick and two beading needles (as usual in the brick stitch technique, if you wish you can do with only one needle).
