Honestly, let’s start with the mattress because that’s the part they’re actually sleeping on every single night. It has to be comfortable , like actually comfortable, not just “it’ll do.” And we didn’t want something we’d have to replace in two years when he hits another growth spurt or suddenly decides he sleeps like a full-grown adult. Start with a naked bed. Color tends to make a bold statement but for me I felt that color would stick out like a sore thumb. The reason being is that i have alot of white going on along with a fewe accents. I wanted to keep everything a neustral color but make a statement. That is why I went with assorted textured pillows.

I started arranging Euro pillows or you can use regular sleeping pillows. These serve as the anchor for your entire pillow setup. Once you’ve positioned these main pillows, layer in your Queen-sized pillows.

In this arrangement, the decorative accents are placed around the trees, not directly on them.
