This post is about in-between when your kid outgrows the “little” bed and you realize you’re not just shopping for furniture, you’re seeing a new phase in your child’s life. My daughter and I were looking for a mattress and bed that would last a long time and would be a dreamy sleep.

A Bed That Grows With Him

Honestly, let’s start with the mattress because that’s the part they’re actually sleeping on every single night. It has to be comfortable , like actually comfortable, not just “it’ll do.” And we didn’t want something we’d have to replace in two years when he hits another growth spurt or suddenly decides he sleeps like a full-grown adult. We wanted it to last. That’s why I chose the Naturepedic Serenade mattress. It felt supportive but still cozy, and I liked knowing it wasn’t just a temporary fix but something that could grow with him and hold up over time. If we’re doing this big-kid bed thing. It’s organic, which made me feel better knowing he’s literally sleeping on it every single night .

I did just that! I took my plain old bed and added a bunch of pillows in different textures all in the same color. It’s a total transformation!

Easy Bedroom Update For Big Transformation.

I am always trying to budget when it comes to decorating my home. I look for the best way to make the biggest impact for the least amount of money.

How To Make The Most Impact In your Bedroom

Start with a naked bed. Color tends to make a bold statement but for me I felt that color would stick out like a sore thumb. The reason being is that i have alot of white going on along with a fewe accents. I wanted to keep everything a neustral color but make a statement. That is why I went with assorted textured pillows.

I started arranging Euro pillows or you can use regular sleeping pillows. These serve as the anchor for your entire pillow setup. Once you’ve positioned these main pillows, layer in your Queen-sized pillows. These slightly smaller pillows to the arrangement. After placing the Queen-sized pillows, continue to introduce smaller decorative pillows.

These trees are faux and will last all year.

DIY Faux Mini Trees

I have a thing for faux holiday mini trees with lights. I am always looking for ways to incorporate them into my decor. I have used them in centerpieces and festive displays but never as part of a themed dessert presentation.

I am super excited to share this recipe and all the tips I learned to make a raspberry chocolate chip bars.

Tips to Make DIY Faux Mini Trees

You can use any type of holiday faux mini trees to decorate. If you want to make this even easier, pick up a holiday faux mini tree kit from the store. I used the same style that I prefer for my festive arrangements. The key to making the display vibrant is to fluff the branches after unpacking and ensure the base is secure. In this arrangement, the decorative accents are placed around the trees, not directly on them.

Fluff the tree inside The house

When you receive your tree, it will need to be fluffed out to achieve its fullest and most natural appearance.

It lets fresh air in, keeps bugs out, and blends seamlessly into your home. Practical, sleek, and something you’ll appreciate every single day. The best company that offers retractable screens is Phantom Screens. They have been around since 1992 and offer great service . They are always coming up with innovative ideas for retractable screens.

What Is A Retractable Screen

So what is a retractable screen? It’s basically a screen that pulls across your door when you need it and disappears when you don’t. I love it because you can have the door open, get fresh air, and not deal with bugs flying in. It blends right into your home, and you honestly forget it’s even there half the time. Phantom Screen does this the best.

Where to install your retractable Screen

You can pretty much install a retractable screen anywhere there’s a door, which is what I love about it. Front door, sliding door, patio doors, even the garage door. I had it installed on my large sliding door that goes out on my patio. It has been a game changer.

How To Order A retractable Screen

The first step is to make an appointment.

OMG It’s autumn again. The season where we all suddenly love like we weren’t just sweating two weeks ago.

Fall is that time when the air gets a little chilly and the leaves start acting dramatic. And somehow that means we all need blankets, candles, and at least one pumpkin sitting somewhere in the house. At my house, I keep it simple. Warm browns, soft creams, deep greens, the kind of colors that make everything look calm and put together.

This fall decor guide is not about going crazy. We’re not filling the house with plastic leaves and glitter pumpkins you’ll hate by November. Please. It’s about real textures, maybe some branches from outside, cozy fabrics, simple pieces that actually feel like fall. You can freshen up your living room, make your entry look less messy, or set a table that looks cute even if dinner is takeout. It doesn’t have to be complicated.

Fall decorating should feel easy. Natural. A little effortless.

1. Embrace the Fall Color Palette

One of the easiest ways to make your house feel like fall, without rearranging your whole life, is just changing the colors.
