Officially not dyeing anymore.

I have decided to stop dyeing permanently and without a doubt. Thus I am selling the last of my store items over at the Etsy store here.

I am not too sure if the brand will continue on as I have moved onto other crafts. I’ll leave this page and the one on Facebook as well as Ravelry on for posterity sake. I do hope to get back to dyeing in the near future. But in the meantime, my duties as a mother calls first.

It has been a great journey dyeing up so many lovely items and thank you for accompanying me every step of the way.

Due to my entering my 2nd trimester, dyeing has taken a backseat while I play catch-up with my knitting projects as well as other crafts. Still, I managed to squeeze in some time for a small six-skein batch on Wednesday and thanks to the arrival of my new dyes too! These have been listed in the store as I have way too much yarn now in my stash! With any luck, I’ll be dyeing up small batches over the coming weeks – just so I can play with my new dyes!

These are some test shades I churned out the other day based on a possible custom order which asked for pastel cool colour shades. Am planning to use them for the 150 laceweight base yarn that I have to add some variety to the current colourways. Do I have a particular favourite? I’d say the blues!

And already on sale at the store because I need to fine tune my blanks. The resulting appearance of a finished object would be heathered (in some handknitted items like socks and depending on the pattern, it can come out very pretty like this and this) but with any luck, the next blanks ought to be zero to very minimal heathering!

I dyed up two hanks in the same colourway above but am keeping one just for the heck of it. I love the dark combo – it’d be awesome for some purposeful pooling projects. I was going to put both up for sale over at the store with Nil giving me the evil eye but I just couldn’t resist holding onto one! Too pretty to let go!

One of my favourites; the colour is intense and very rich – suitable for a cashmere-merino sock yarn base. This is up for sale but I’ll be dyeing up another hank just for keeps! Hehehehehe!
