While I am not really shooting weddings, I wanted to share this post from a bride about wedding photography – We are not lying to you!

Smurfs Press event – Southern California Photographer

I was lucky enough to be invited to an event at Sony studios to see some previews of the smurfs movie, and speak with some of the cast and crew. This is one of my favorite shots of the day - Hank Azaria has been in some of my favorite movies!

Jayma Mays was also in the movie, and it was a treat to see one of my favorite Glee characters…

I’ve known A since she was 10 – it doesn’t seem possible that this beautiful graceful girl (woman!) is getting ready to graduate and go to college. I love that we got some shots with her toe shoes – she is such a natural in them!

One of the most frequent questions I get after booking a session is “what should I wear?” My usual answer is “wear what makes you feel good, and don’t be TOO matchy-matchy. Yeah, not the best answer. Luckily for me, there is polyvore – polyvore is kind of like shopping, but without spending money – you can put together outfits, and use them as a wishlist, or as inspiration. I come across ones I like on pinterest, so I thought I would share them here to give YOU inspiration…

Three very different outfits, but they do have one common theme – they have great accessories to tie them together – it’s those little touches that really show your personality and make a great picture FABULOUS

I went scouting locations in Redlands recently – I found some pretty interesting places for future sessions!

Some of these look pretty run down, but put a FABULOUS couple or a super stylish senior in front of them and it’s a great match!

Then I HAD to check out the snow up in Oak Glen – it was SO pretty but SOO chilly!!

I had such a blast taking photos of this family – we’ve known them for the last 2 years, and one of the little girls MAY have been my son’s first “girlfriend” – no one’s talking though….lol

These sweet girls came all the way from Alabama to have ME take their picture…

Ok, they are my best friend’s daughters, and they were out visiting family. But with only a hiccup or two, these sassy 7 year olds were ready to work that camera!
