I have been on a journey to make our home safe and toxic free. However, the price of most products has made it very difficult. I have been searching for affordable but safe options.

Most bar soaps are full of toxic chemicals and fragrances linked to: Developmental/reproductive toxicity, Allergies/immunotoxicity, Irritation and/or Organ system toxicity.

Choose to use Glass, Stainless Steel and wood as much as possible. I have found many great Glass options at Target, Walmart, K-mart and Amazon. Anchor Hocking is made in the USA and a great option for storage, and serving items. However, any clear glass is a great option, just be sure it is NOT lead crystal.

Like other types of vinegar, apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid and it also contains some lactic, citric and malic acids. Always look for a good raw, unfiltered brand 'with the mother'.

This natural cider is rich brown in color and, when held to the light, you can see a tiny cob web like formation of substances which are called the mother. And as it ages, you will see the mother. Lyme disease is an infectious disease that is caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi (Bb), which is a spirally shaped type of bacterium that is called a spirochete. In 1981 researcher Willy Burgdorfer discovered this new bacterium in ticks (bloodsucking parasites), a bacterium belonging to the genus Borrelia.

The bacterium was named Borrelia burgdorferi after its discoverer. Not long after its discovery it was also established that Borrelia burgdorferi is the cause of Lyme disease, a disease recognized around the town Old Lyme, Connecticut, in the Unites States of America in the 1970s by researcher Allen Steere. The medical name is Lyme borreliosis. So the name "Lyme" origins from the name of a town, not a name of a doctor or researcher. In German language they use the name Borreliose.

Here is a price list from Publix on most of the Organic products that I have seen. I update as I find new items. Most of the listed price will be the regular price, however, if that product has been on sale in the past I will include the sale price too. That way you will know that you could wait for a sale before you stock up.

Always check the coupon database to see if there is a coupon that would match the item. Although it has been difficult to find organic coupons in the past, more and more companies are now offering coupons.
