August Beauty Favorites

This month was really easy for me to pick out my favorites. Other months, I struggle. Between traveling and being sick, I haven't used a lot of products that much. What I have used, I've really loved for the most part.

First up, Maybelline Fit me Shine-Free Foundation. A foundation in a stick=GENIUS! This is a great foundation for my combination/sensitive skin. It hasn't been horribly hot in Georgia, but it's still been hot enough where I've been sweating from time to time. This Gel Foundation features an anti-shine core that will get rid of any excess oil. The coverage is pretty good and you can really build it up if needed. As far as lasting power goes, it does the job! I've used this with a primer and without one. I'd say it held up for 8 hours easily. Even better news is that this is under $10 at some stores! YES!!

A couple of products I've been using and loving would be my Real Techniques Brushes. I wish I would have tried these sooner because they are really great quality brushes that are insanely inexpensive. I've always been a Sigma Beauty lover, but these brushes give them a run for their money! I picked up the Travel Kit and the Stippling Brush. Take a look at a review I recently posted, here!

If you are like me, you are a sucker for a good Gel Manicure. They last for weeks (normally) and give your nails an incredible shine. They have so many colors to choose from and so far, they haven't damaged my nails. I happen to love the Red Carpet Manicure Kit. It's $79.00 and I know that's a lot, but think about how much money you spend on a typical Gel Manicure at the salon. I have picked up several polishes and have been happy with the color and the application. **Be sure to check out my post I did about a Red Carpet Manicure Giveaway!

I've talked about Paula's Choice so many times. If you are new to my blog, feel free to read some of my older reviews on the brand. (Click here , here , or here for another one) I've used the RESIST Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator for almost a year now or close to it. It's great for anyone with acne, enlarged pores, anti-aging, redness and wrinkles. It is the perfect moisturizer for my crazy sensitive skin. I put it on and it's not heavy at all. It also seems to be a great primer for my makeup. This product is 100% fragrance-free and has no added dyes. Paula's Choice has a huge amount of products available and they are super affordable. Most importantly, they work!! Not to mention, they have outstanding customer service.

My last product is something I've had for a while. Redken's Sheer Straight 06 seems to be a fabulous styling product for my hair. Recently when I chopped off my hair (#shorthairdontcare), I started using it more. It takes care of any frizz I'm having, protects my hair from heat damage and leaves my crazy waves/curls, very close to straight. It features coconut oil and olive oil, but doesn't seem to weigh hair down at all. This product is made for people with fine hair, but believe me, it does my thick hair some good.

Real Techniques Makeup Brushes by Sam Chapman

Let me introduce you to a line of Makeup Brushes called Real Techniques. These brushes are created by the amazing Sam Chapman of Pixiwoos. If you haven't heard of her, you MUST take a look at some of her YouTube tutorials! She's fantastic and a highly successful makeup artist. These brushes are highly raved about by makeup artists and bloggers, so you know I had to check them out.

I don't know why it took me so long to pick up the Real Technique brushes. I guess it's because I love my Sigma Beauty brushes so much, I just never really cared about using anything else. I see Makeup Artists using these brushes and raving about them and I get asked questions about these brushes a lot. They are affordable, they are carried online and also at Ulta, Kohls and Walgreens (maybe more). So the time came when I finally had to pick some up. I can tell you I'm so happy I did!

I picked up two items. The first was the Travel Essentials Kit. After all, I was traveling and it seemed like a great set to start with. This kit features a foundation brush, a multi-task brush and a domed shadow brush. These brushes are synthetic bristles and the actual brush handles feature aluminum handles. What I loved most about this kit is that it comes packaged in a case that doubles as a stand. The price on the Travel Essentials kit is $18.00. Three full sized brushes and a case/stand for $18.00!?!?! YES!

I also picked up the Stippling brush. I saw this brush and was really shocked by how small the bristles were on this. Normally, most stippling brushes are pretty long, but the bristles on this brush were very short. So I was even more intrigued about this brush. Again, this brush is a dual-fiber brush that features synthetic bristles and an aluminum handle. Price on this brush is $10.00.

So how did I like these brushes? I LOVED THEM!!! I can't get over how soft these brushes were. So far the brushes haven't shed (Something some of my sigma brushes tend to do) and they apply makeup so nicely! I was most impressed with the Stippling Brush. I wasn't so sure because of the short bristles, but it really applied my foundation nicely. I also used it to apply cream blush and again, worked great. The Multi-task brush is great for powder, blush and bronzer. I loved that I can use this one brush for so many products. The domed shadow brush blended eyeshadow perfectly and the foundation brush is not only great for foundation, but it is also great for concealer.

Overall, I am very impressed with these brushes. Even though they are synthetic, they are so soft! They are very sturdy, well made brushes that give great results. I love that the handles on the brushes are able to stand up on their own, but because they are pretty wide at their base, it can make it difficult to store with other makeup brushes because they take up more space. Not a huge problem at all, but I did want to note that.

If you are someone who has a lot of makeup brushes or someone who is looking to start a good collection, these brushes will impress most everyone! I will be purchasing more of these brushes for sure!

Almay Longwear & Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover Pads Review

I am traveling for a couple weeks and didn't bring my normal eye makeup remover. So I picked up some Almay Longwear & Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover Pads. There were two different types available, but I went with the waterproof version because I had never tried them before.

The Almay Eye Makeup Remover Wipes are small, pre-soaked cotton pads that are just the right size for removing your mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadow. They come in a small container that holds 80 pads, for about $6.50 (depends where you purchase them), depending on where you buy them. Not too horrible of a price in my opinion. That's about where my good news ends.

There isn't one thing about these makeup wipes that I really like, other than their perfect, small size. These wipes are basically an oily mess. I hate to talk bad about products, but I'm just being honest. I realize these wipes are to remove waterproof makeup, but I've used other waterproof makeup removers and they aren't near as bad as these are.

As soon as I picked up the wipes I realized that these were going to be bad. My fingers were soaked in oil. I was actually a little nervous to put this wipe up to my eyes, but I did. I closed my eyes and let it soak on my eyelid for a minute. It did remove my eye makeup, but with all of the oil that was leftover, I felt like I had to wash my face again. If you are washing your face after using these wipes, then this might not be a big deal to you, BUT I just didn't like how it felt on my face at all. If I accidentally got some of the oil from the wipe on my eyes, I don't think it would be good.

Bottom line is that I really, really didn't like these. I liked the regular Almay pads (but not for removing waterproof makeup) and they have several other makeup wipes available. I tossed mine and will be going back out and getting my good ol' Rimmel London Gentle Eye Makeup Remover.

Sometimes not all products are winners. This is an example of one!

My Must-Have's for Fall

I can't believe the cool temperatures we have been having lately. It puts me in the mood for Fall. I put together a list of products that I'm really wanting to pick up for Fall.

Take a look!

1. J. Crew Golden-Link Tortoise Bracelet ($68.00)

I LOVE this bracelet. It's the perfect piece to add to my collection for some fabulous Fall looks! It will be great for a casual look or dressed up for a night out. I was actually shocked at how reasonable this bracelet was, considering J. Crew's sometimes expensive prices. If you are looking for jewelry pieces to add to your jewelry collection, this is a must-have!

2. Marc Jacobs Honey Lotion ($45.00)

When I first smelled Marc Jacobs new Honey fragrance, I really loved it's simplicity. It's a fragrance that is very light, but very girly. The price tag on this lotion is pretty high, but it is an actual "perfumed" lotion. I really love this scent for Fall.

3. Scattered Hearts Intarsia Sweater ($88.00)

This sweater makes me really excited for Fall weather. Hearts are the main part of this sweater and that's perfectly fine to me. Hearts on the elbows? Yes, please!

4. C. Wonder Printed Striped Tote ($78.00)

What can I say? This tote is perfect. It's durable and is the perfect size to allow me to carry what I need to be on the go. Plus, it couldn't be anymore adorable!

5. Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes

You know it's fall when this drink is available. Yummy!

6. Sugar Paper Westiside Kate Note Card Set ($12.00)

I love a good set of stationary. This one is perfect for sending a quick thank you to someone or just a friendly hello. If you haven't checked out Waiting on Martha's Blog and store, you need to!

7. bareMinerals Ready 8.0 Power Neutrals ($40.00)

Gorgeous palette that features rich neutral colors. Some shimmers and some matte. Perfect for day to night. I have been really pleased with all of the bareMinerals eyeshadows I've used previously.

8. Michael Todd Pumpkin Nutrient Rich Facial Mask ($34.00)

I've never tried any of the Michael Todd Products, but this one caught my attention. I love a great Pumpkin mask. Great for clogged pores and brightening the skin. Plus, this mask is supposed to smell like fresh pumpkin pie. A win-win in my opinion.

After seeing all of these goodies, I can't wait for Fall!!!

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick in shade 102 by Kate Moss

I'm a big, big fan of the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick Collection by Kate Moss. I stumbled across these by accident at Target once and since then, I've been adding to my collection. These are super affordable, highly pigmented, long-wearing lipsticks. These are just as good, if not better, than some of my more expensive luxury brands that I've worn (MAC, I'm looking at you). Best part about this collection? They are under $5.00! Yes, you read that right! Get excited!! Check out the pictures I took of the newest one I picked up the other day, #102!

I really love this lipstick. It's a great formula if you are looking for really pigmented colors and want it to last. It does dry out my lips a little bit, but nothing that is uncomfortable to me. Kate Moss put together a gorgeous collection of beautiful lip colors! I saw a couple of colors that I want to pick up that will be excellent for fall!!

I am in my early 30's. Yes, I openly admit that. I take good care of my skin and have been using an anti-aging routine for quite some time now. Using this product will give you a great line of defense in protecting your skin against age spots, wrinkles, fine lines and dark spots.

This moisturizer can be used daily, morning and night. I have had no issues with it being too heavy or making my skin feel oily. Nuance Salma Hayek Raw Honey Shampoo and Conditioner Color Protect Review

Not just a pretty bottle, but the Nuance Raw Honey Shampoo and Conditioner is some pretty good stuff at a very, very affordable price. So affordable that I had to do a double take at the receipt to make sure I read it correctly. My CVS had them on sale buy one, get one half off. SCORE!!!

First of all, the bottles are beautiful! The colors are so pretty and they stand out so much in my boring ol' white shower. The scent is to die for. Nothing crazy or over the top, but more of a warm, comforting scent. I wouldn't mind this scent in a perfume. The shampoo lathers great, the conditioner can be left on additional time if necessary, for extra conditioning. Together, this pair makes my hair super soft, shiny and protects my color from fading.

The Raw Honey Shampoo ($7.99) and Conditioner ($7.99) contain some great ingredients! The Shampoo has Soy Protein, Cornflower Extract and Acai Moisture Complex listed as some of the main ingredients. The Conditioner has a Wheat Protein, Shea Butter and a Nutrient Complex. After using these products, my hair felt really soft and a lot smoother. It seemed to help my dry hair and split ends a lot. I do color my hair and have highlights, so I want to make sure I'm protecting my "investment." I used to only use a pretty pricey Shampoo and Conditioner, but I am enjoying the Nuance line so much, I'm only using it now. It saves me a lot of money and my hair looks great!

The Nuance line can be found at CVS stores only or online on their website. Some stores carry skincare only, but others actually carry the haircare and makeup/nail products also. I have to go to a couple stores in my area, but I can find them. The products that I've used so far have really impressed me and I love that they are budget friendly.

M.vie by Midnight Velvet Review! Plus $50.00 Gift Certificate Giveaway!!

I get approached by quite a few companies to talk about their products on my blog. Some I've heard of and others, like Midnight Velvet, I've never heard of. Have you? Chances are, you probably haven't, but I'm hoping that after this review, you'll check them out. If you have, then why didn't you tell me about them before? Ha!

This is the softest Kabuki Brush I've ever used. Worked great!

Let me introduce you to their m. vie Mineral Makeup Line. I was sent a starter kit and some other items that I personally requested. I was really quite pleased with the packaging. They came in an adorable bag, that could totally be re-used for something else later down the road. The starter kit that they sent me came in a zip bag that is very, very cute. It's the perfect sized bag to keep in your purse for quick touch ups or for after workouts, etc. If you are a fan of NARS or at least know of their products, then you know how their products have a somewhat rubberized package. Well, these do too! The products felt very luxurious and made me excited to see how the actual makeup was. It didn't disappoint! Here are some of the items I got, with pictures and swatches.

This kit comes in six shades to choose from. I went with the lightest, Fair, but I might have been able to use the Medium Fair. The colors I got were colors I'd actually wear. Sometimes not all the colors that come in the kit are something you'd actually want to use. I have some photo's below to show you the difference with and without this makeup. The first photo is my right side, with no makeup. The second photo is my left side, with makeup. Finally, the last photo show's me buffing the product into my face. I really liked the mineral foundation. It worked great! Take a look!

The Mineral Foundation really buffs nicely into the skin.
Takes away any imperfections such as redness or acne.
Love that it isn't heavy and I can use as little or as much as I want.

The Blush, Terra Cotta, is such a gorgeous, very pigmented shade.
Just small amount (as you can see on my brush) is all that I needed for BOTH cheeks!

I'm not a stranger to Mineral Makeup and I really enjoy using it especially in the summer. I feel like it's a great makeup to use for when you want a good bit of coverage, without the heaviness a typical foundation. The foundation was great. There was a significant amount of fall out, but this is a mineral makeup. Using the Kabuki brush that came in the kit, I applied it to the skin and it covered most of the imperfections I had. I even used it under my eye area and around the nose, to cover any areas I'd normally use concealer on. The blush was very pigmented and applied nicely. I'd say for sure with the blush, a little bit goes a long way! The lipstick was very creamy and packed quite a bit of color! My lips felt very moisturized and conditioned when using this.

Midnight Velvet was also nice enough to send me some other items that I had asked to try. I loved the Lip Color Rambling Rose ($13.95) and the Lip Polish in Pretty Please ($11.95). Both were gorgeous colors and I loved that the lipstick has Vitamins A & E and Sweet Almond and Jojoba Oil. Not only is it giving me a great color on my lips, but it's also moisturizing them at the same time!

I have to say that the brushes were probably my favorite. I got two and love both. Not only are they super affordable, but they are also double ended. Which means one brush will do many things!

The first brush I got was the m. vie Duo Camofluff Brush ($16.95) and it's so, so good. The flat end of the brush works great for applying concealers and using the fluffy end, it's perfect to set the concealer with mineral powder or to blend an eyeshadow.

The second brush I got was the m. vie Duo Deluxe Spooly Wand & Tapered Angled Brush. ($14.95) It's perfect for creating the perfect brows, applying your eyeliner. I love to use the angled brush to apply my brow color and run through the brows with the spooly wand. Using that combination of brushes gives me the perfect, natural looking tamed brows.

Overall thoughts on the line are great! I've said this before and I mean nothing bad about this, but I am super picky when it comes to my makeup. I like a good, quality product. I want it to last and give me the results I'm paying for. m. vie definitely does that! It's affordable, but the makeup itself is very good quality. I love the modern, sleek packaging and the great selection of colors and products they offer. While I haven't used the whole line, I've used enough to form a good opinion on the company and the products. I'm sold! It's always great to find companies that are new to me, but have great products!

Simply Stine is getting a new look!

When I first started this blog, I tried to do the best I could to get things going. Lucky me, my hubby is a programmer, so he has a great knowledge and understanding of a lot of things computer related. So, together, we got Simply Stine a "look." Sadly, he isn't a designer. The website has been great and it's gotten me to where I am, but I have been itching for a re-design for quite some time. So I thought about what I wanted for my Blog and what was missing. I did some research and contacted my friend Melanie from Jankun Creative Studio: A Labor of Love and got the ball rolling with a new logo. As always, she didn't disappoint. Things have been progressing and I think, soon, I'll be able to show you guys the new look!! You have no idea how excited I am to share this with you guys. I keep looking at it and I get super excited at what's become of my little ol' blog that I once, only dreamed of. Never, ever did I think I'd get this far. Thank you guys so much for your continued support. It touches my heart more than you know! I also have to thank Mr. Simply Stine. WIthout him, none of this would be possible.

Who knew charcoal could be so cool! Introduction to Leonie Blackhead removing peel-off mask...

I'm very good about keeping up with my skincare and that includes my masks. I have a variety that I use, depending on my skincare needs at the moment. Right now, since it's been so hot and humid, it seems to be pretty gross. I'm talking some breakouts and clogged pores. Thank goodness that the folks at Leonie Skincare sent me a really awesome peel-off mask to try! Clogged pores and blackheads watch out!

This mask has a couple ingredients in it that will really make an impact on your skin. It has Charcoal, why it's black, which helps to absorb blackheads and other nasty impurities hiding in our skin. Grapefruit and Lemon Peel extract also offer a good deep cleanse to the skin and Rosemary extract is included not only as an antioxidant, but for it's antimicrobial properties. Using this mask will not only help get rid of your clogged pores and blackheads, but it will also help prevent new ones from coming back! The box also stated that using this mask will brighten the skin, smooth and give a good deep cleanse to the skin.

tighter and it seemed to brighten my skin.

I washed my skin and got ready for some good, deep cleaning! It's crazy how excited I get using new skincare products!! I applied a pretty good amount to the skin (I probably could have applied more), especially concentrating on my nose and cheek area. I tried to avoid my eyebrows and hairline, but I did get a little bit in that area. It says to leave on at least 15-20 minutes or until the mask has dried. I would say it took about ten minutes and the mask was dry. Now the fun part. Time to peel it off! I like the idea of a peel-off mask, but they can sometimes be pretty tricky to remove. This one wasn't that bad. I couldn't get the entire mask off in one pull, but I got pretty much all of it off in under five minutes. Did I notice a difference in my skin? YES! There were actually some pretty gross stuff left behind when I looked at the mask, especially around my nose area. Take a look!

After using my mask, I can see a very noticeable
difference in my blackheads and pores. A good difference!

It didn't irritate my sensitive skin and felt pretty good while on. It does get tight and it seemed to have a little bit of a cooling effect on my skin. After removing the mask, my skin felt smoother and I could notice a difference in my pores for sure. I feel like if I continue using this mask, I will be able to get a better handle on my clogged pores and blackheads. I've used masks like this before and they have worked pretty good, BUT this mask worked great and it's a lot cheaper than the others I have used previously.

Where have I been to not know about an event that features makeup, shopping and drinks? "Does good skincare have to be expensive?" I get asked that question A LOT!! My answer is, not always! Do expensive products work better than drugstore? I think that skincare is very personal to the individual. Some products work better than others. I'm always up for a good challenge when it comes to a less expensive alternative than some of the pricier products I'm using. So when I read about a book called The Skin Regime, I was very, very interested in what she had to say. The author, Dana Ramos, was kind enough to send me the book along with a sample peel to use. I started reading it the day I got the book! Here's my thoughts on it...

The book is very informative. From a skincare junkie to anyone just looking for some information, this book has a lot of answers. I can tell she is very passionate about the information behind her book. Her thoughts are that skincare shouldn't cost a fortune and she's put together a very specific plan to use for skincare. Simple, easy products that can, for the most part, be purchased at any drugstore. So I purchased the products and put them to work!

To follow her skincare plan, I needed the following:

*Dove Sensitive Unscented Beauty Bar

*Rubbing Alcohol (this terrified me) or Witch Hazel (Sensitive Skin)

*Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion for Sensitive Skin (this terrified me more)

*Peel (She supplied me with a sample, but the book also tells me where I can purchase it myself) She now also carries her own peel, 1-4-All Peel, which you can purchase directly on her website.

I'm not going to lie, I was TERRIFIED to give this a try. With my sometimes sensitive skin, I was so worried it would break me out or who knows what. I'm a Beauty Blogger people, I knew I had to step up and take one for the team and give this a try! My end result? Pretty good skin!!! I actually can't believe how much I liked the bar soap for my skin. It took off my makeup perfectly and didn't dry me out. The Rubbing Alcohol was a bit much and burnt my skin like crazy. I'd probably switch it up and use the Witch Hazel next time around. How did the Lubriderm do? Not too bad! I have been in pretty hot, humid weather and my skin didn't seem to get too oily using this. No breakouts or anything. I was probably the most scared to use this product. I felt like I was putting something foreign on my skin and everyone knew I was using a "body" lotion. HA!! Turns out, it worked good. Looking back, I can't believe how scared I was to use these products. Does this mean I've been brain washed into thinking I have to spend a fortune on my skincare routine?!? Maybe so...

As far as the peel goes that she gave me, I really did notice results. It burnt like crazy on my skin at first (It wasn't on that long) and I was very red afterwards, but it didn't seem to irritate my skin. I made sure I wasn't in the sun (I used this at night, as suggested) and followed up with a good amount of SPF on my face. I could tell a difference in my pore size and my skin felt much smoother. I realized after using this, that I really needed this peel and will continue to use this.

I really do have to say that the book was an excellent read. Even if you don't use the products, you can learn a lot from this book. The products she suggests using really do give a great result, at least for me. Will I continue using this routine? YES! But in all honesty, I do switch it up from time to time because I like testing out other products. If you are interested in trying something new and very budget friendly, give this a try! First of all I have to ask, how is it August already?!?!!? I swear to you July went by so fast. Craziness!! Anyways, I have been keeping track of the products I find myself using over and over again during the month of July and I wanted to share with you guys!

Bye Bye Blemish Drying Lotion

I was in full on panic mode about a week before I was supposed to be in the wedding because I got not one, but three giant zits on my chest. I rarely break out and I was freaking out. My friend has used Bye Bye Blemish Drying Lotion and raved about it, so I went on the hunt to track it down. Ulta was the only place that carried it and I had to go to two stores before I actually found it in stock. At first when I used it, I was not seeing results. I almost returned it. Then I realized I had been using it incorrectly. I dipped my q-tip into the top part of the bottle and not fully down into the pink looking part. DUH!!! Once I did that, everything seemed to disappear pretty quickly. I had bought some other acne gels, but they didn't work. This stuff is worth every penny it costs. I am VERY lucky that I don't break out very often, but I know girls who do, that use this product and they can get rid of even the worst break outs, very quickly. If you suffer from acne, give this product a try! I'm going to do a full blog post about this product with more information about ingredients and instructions!

This gentle cleanser has been my go-to body wash lately. It's got the freshest, cleanest scent and it doesn't dry my skin out. Since I've been in the sun more, this has been a great body wash to give me a little bit of moisture, but not too much. This does have Green Tea and Cucumber in it, so the scent is very light. LOVE everything about this body wash, including the price tag!

I did a blog post about this product recently and I'm still loving it, which is a very good thing given how expensive it is! I've said this before and I'll say it again, not all bronzers are the same! Even with my fair skin, this product allows me to have a little bit of sun-kissed goodness and at first it may seem like it's applying heavy, but it buffs away so nicely. I can apply this all over or use it to contour. I've even used it on my legs and shoulders. Can I say again just how pretty this packaging is!!! Chanel products always feel so luxurious to me. This is for sure a splurge product, but I have to admit that it's become a daily addition to my routine.

I go in spurts of using certain makeup brushes and sponges. Lately, I can't seem to put my beauty blenders down. Given the hot weather we've had in Georgia lately, I don't want heavy makeup. The beauty blender is the perfect makeup tool to give me a natural makeup look. I get the sponge damp and use it to buff away my foundation on my face. It's great for concealers and cream blushes also. If there is ever a makeup tool you need to own, this is the one! If you haven't tried it yet, get it now! You won't be disappointed. **I picked up another knock off version of this and still, nothing works like the original one.

I'm back!!

I feel like I haven't sat at my desk, in my office, to type a blog in forever, but I'm back! Finally!!! I was away on vacation and had zero time to even type up a quick email or blog post. I've talked about it before, but I was in Tybee Island (GA) staying at a beach house because my best friend was getting married in Savannah and I was the Maid of Honor. We had flowers to work on, favors to bag up, last minute details all needed to be finished. We had a blast, but I'm glad I'm back to my normal life. That means way more blog posts for you guys to read!

It was recently announced that e.l.f. is starting a subscription "beauty bundle" service. It sounds similar to a subscription box only with all e.l.f. products! As someone who loves e.l.f., this was very exciting to read. What a wonderful way to try something you may have not purchased on your own.

According to e.l.f.:

The Beauty Bundle is e.l.f.'s new makeup subscription plan that sends an assortment of our top-rated products straight to your mailbox every eight weeks. With three different subscription plans to choose from, you can get your beauty fix at your own pace, on your own budget. It's the perfect pick-me-up of your favorite e.l.f. goodies, at the perfect value!

The boxes come every 8 weeks. You can choose to pay every 8 weeks, or you can do 6 months/1 year subscriptions. These make perfect gifts! It looks like they send colors that will be flattering on any skin tone, so it doesn't sound like they are sending foundation or concealer.

The cost is $19.99 per box + S&H. A 6 month subscription is $59.97 + S&H. A full year is $119.94 + S&H. I am a little disappointed that you don't save any money by buying a full year, but it does make it easy to give as a gift. When I first read about this bundle it said that each box would contain $40 worth of makeup, but I cannot find anything that says that now. The website shows pictures of sample bundles.

I have not decided if I am going to try a Beauty Bundle from e.l.f. just yet. I may wait and see what others get. I have loved most of the products I have tried from this brand, but since it is a new service I would like to see what happens with it.
