In the clothing industry, children who wear tops in sizes 4 through 7 are grouped together as juvenile. Some wholesalers even use juvy when abbreviating this word.

Up to now we have used this term on our product pages for clothing to refer to this sizing category but it has a bad taste in our mouths. We associate juvenile with the law and, specifically, with the word delinquent.

We’ve also had a few customers call us about this term, not familiar with this clothing category.

To avoid confusion or any legal associations, we have now changed the sizing category to kids.

Google has made a series of videos to show how to use their various search tools. Each video is set up like a story and one of them shows how Bruce Wayne becomes Batman.

Common Sense Media is a great website that reviews televison shows, movies and other sources of media and rates them from a parent’s perspective on their suitability for children. This website is on our recommended links and will add this fun video will have a home in our fun stuff section.

We receive a lot of traffic from people searching for Super Hero Squad party supplies.

Right now we do not carry these party supplies and by doing a search online, we didn’t find anyone carrying these products either.

So where are they?

This morning we spoke to our Hallmark party supply representative and inquired about Marvel’s new cartoon show characters. To our surprise, this theme is not available yet but our sales rep sounded enthusiastic, saying she will suggest this product to Hallmark’s upper management.

We just received an update on shipping information for the Batman rain boots and umbrellas.

The Washington Shoe Company is expecting to receive their shipment of rain boots by next week. Soon afterwards we will receive our shipment from them and will email all pre-order customers the tracking number for these rain boots.

The umbrellas, on the other hand, will not be received by the manufacturer at the same time as the boots and no shipping date has been determined yet for the umbrellas.

We have adjusted the product pages for both the rain boots and the umbrellas to reflect these shipping updates.

Good news – Internet Explorer browser issues are now resolved. The home page’s left-side navigation can be viewed in IE version 8 and the check-out page looks more like our home page.

While all videos are viewable, we’re still working on making them easier to navigate than scrolling down a long page to watch the episode you want to watch. It’s taking so long because there are so darn many!

We’ll keep you posted when our library section is re-organized.

If you view our website using Internet Explorer, you may have encountered an error pop-up window appear whether on our home page or on a webpage where there is one or more videos.

We apologize for not noticing this since we view our website in Firefox which has not caused us any problems.

We are in the process of fixing this compatibility problem and making sure all of the pages on our website are compatible with all browsers. One of the things we are doing is re-organizing our video library. Presently, we have numerous episodes on one webpage which causes the error in IE. Our solution is to show only one video per webpage.

We found an article written on ehow.com by Robin Raven called How To Create A Batman Pumpkin. We are only providing the link since the author did not reply when we requested posting her article for our blog.

In the article, the second step asks that you or your child draw sketches of Batman. An alternative to this is to get them at 8 different websites.
