fazerbox released version 1.01 of the Logitech G27Leds modification.

This plugin permits games like rFactor, Superleague Formula 2009, GTR, GTR2, GTL, Race and Race07 to use G27Leds. It was developed using Logitech Wheel SDK and was tested only on rFactor and GTR2. In others games it should not work properly.

Just found another review on Logitech's G27 Steering Wheel.

There's no other way to play a top racing game with any vague sense of realism than with a wheel bolted securely to your desk and a set of pedals sat on the mess of wires under your feet.
