Chinese red packet mail art - original drawing - almost free REALLY

I have:
- 3 writing pads full of sketches
- a pile of used red packets (it’s a Chinese tradition, married adults give red envelopes filled with money to children esp in the Lunar New Year as a sign of blessing)

I will:
- put one sketch into one packet
- mail it to you

Each packet contains one unique pen/ink drawing (folded)
10cm x 12-15cm

These are early (c. 2001-05) sketches drawing from real life and photographs. A few more refined ones are available at the shop for a reasonable price; while THIS red packet selection, which contains sketches that are more casual and made with light spirit, is a GIVEAWAY.

I will specially select a nice piece for you, but please take it more like a treat than purchase. The cost is mainly to cover listing fee and postage. I'm moving to a new artistic stage and kissing some old drawings goodbye. Hope you like them!

*Please understand the drawings are aged, and the envelopes are reused, they may not be as perfect as an angel.

I cut out the Salem box from an early drawing that I did and assembled it with black paper and a second-hand golden frame. The back stand can be switched for horizontal or vertical placement, or to be hung on the wall.

- Paper printed one side was used to practise drawing, where I drew figures mostly from magazines and newspaper
- These sketches are then used to make envelopes

They went through two cycles and are still alive, can't be more one of a kind

Youngsters (and adults) are often said to become more self-centred with the use of social-networking platforms, indulgent in their own feelings and ego projected by publicised personal speeches. Yet when you look at meme culture and how "personal" ideas are reblogged and commented on Tumblr, you realise these feelings and thoughts are not purely personal but shared, and these platforms bring people together instead of setting them apart. This "that's so true" sensation is that in the arts. (Some) art is often said to be masturbation because of its self-centredness, but only because of this self-centredness can it be so true to individual recognition of human(e) impressions and expressions, only then can we be inspired because of what we share. When the sensation of masturbation is experienced by a mass, it is not masturbation.

Sounds great, but let's face it. Human intelligence is high enough to find the tail. I don't know if it's actually more complicated to produce this "innovative product", but I'm quite sure it's no less complicated. And what about waste.
