Let me make something very clear to you right now SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is not a industry, it’s simply a list of about 10 fundamental techniques you need to be aware of in order to do well in the search engines. Now I know so called SEO experts will see this post and loose their shit but it’s the truth. You don’t need to pay any SEO company $2500 – $20,000 per month to optimize your website, check keyword density, H1 tags, blah blah blah about extra things that don’t play a major part in ranking for search terms. I’m sure they may help but they are not important nor required.

All you really need is some knowledge in the basics of SEO and a really reliable SEO software to do all the heavy lifting.

They are 3 things you need to know to rank for any keyword in the search engines.

1. Links: The life blood of the so called SEO industry, the basis to this is simple the more links you have pointing to your site the better. You’ll hear people say well you have to make sure it’s quality links from related sites, that’s crap. For example I have a video sharing website (ComeWatchMe.com) that covers all topics so does that mean only links from other video sharing sites will be quality links? No, the same way I have a Hip Hop Music site that has links from CNN does that mean the CNN link doesn’t count? Of course not. Do your self a favor, don’t drive your self crazy trying to figure out a site’s quality score before you have them link to you, Google, Bing and Yahoo make changes every day and you won’t be able to keep up.

Here’s a good rule to follow, any site with a page rank of 3 or better is a good site to have linking to you. If your not sure what page rank is it’s how Google scores your website, it’s the little green bar that in the Google toolbar. That’s all there is to it, just keep getting links and you’ll be fine. In fact if you master link building you can mess the other two things and still be fine. Take a look at how many links I’ve managed to get pointing to 2 of my websites, which you can view live using Yahoo site explorer.

That’s 148,854 back links for HipHopMusicDotCom.com and 136,939 back links for MusicVideoCast.com, now that type of link popularity doesn’t happen over night but if you work at it it’s definitely possible. You can manually go out and find link partners or you can use a software like SEO Elite (which is what I use) and have it search the web and in a few minutes to find you hundreds of link partners, I don’t use it for link building that much anymore because my sites have become so popular that I build links on auto pilot now plus link partners come to me to make me offers.

2. Keywords: The next important thing to rank well in search engines is to make sure you have the right keywords on your site, I’m not talking about the keywords in the content that you write but in the title of the pages you create or if your blogging the posts that you write. You must be realistic about the search terms your trying to rank for, for example I’ve been trying to get top 10 rankings for the search term”music videos” for almost 2 years now and still I ‘ve not been able to pull it off, why? Because I’m going up against sites like MTV, Yahoo, AOl and even Wikipedia for that search term, so it’s hard battle since those sites have millions of back links compared to my mere 130,000. But going for a search term like “hip hop music videos” isn’t as hard which is why I have not one but two listings in the top ten for that search term.

The problem with trying to find good keywords to use with on your site, is that you don’t know which keywords are more competitive, I use SEO Elite’s “keyword competition” feature to check what keywords are the best to go after in my particular niche. SEO Elite basically gives you a road map of what to do, it shows you how competitive a search term is, how many links you will need, the page title you should use etc. This way you can copy what other websites are doing and do the same and even better.

In the Hip Hop niche, I’ve dominated search terms like hip hop music, new hip hop music, hip hop music 2010, hip hop songs, new hip hop songs, hip hop mixtapes and hip hop music videos. Most of which I’m in the top 3 for and for “hip hop music” I’m number one all of which brings 250,000 visitors to my site every month. All of this was not by mistake it was by using SEO Elite to methodically find new link partners and keywords to go after.

3. Anchor Text: This is the final phase to the whole thing, so you have your link building campaign going and you have your pages set with the proper keywords aka search terms, so now what? Well since you have all these different sites linking to you there is one last ingredient you need for success and that is Anchor Text or Anchor Link. A anchor text is simply the word used in the link pointing to your website, and believe me it sounds like nothing but it makes all the difference. For example if you have 100 websites linking to you and the word in the link is “how to build websites” well guess what, depending on how competitive that search term is, you could quite possibly end up holding the number one spot for that keyword in the search engines or at least achieve top ten. This is what leads to number one rankings, one of the best best ways to get the anchor text you want in the links pointing to your website is to try and find a domain name with the keywords in it.

For example look at my hip hop site (HipHopMusicDotCom.com), it sounds stupid when you say it out loud but that didn’t stop it from being number one in Google for “hip hop music”, you see most of the people that link to me don’t pay attention to the Dot Com part of the domain, I’m not sure why they just don’t. They simply put “hip hop music” for the link and this shot my site up to number one in less than 6 months. Another example would be MusicVideoCast.com, now even though when people link to me their links will have “Music Video Cast” in it, Google will still score the site for “music videos” or “music video” because it’s in the domain name so naturally it’s gonna end up in the Anchor text of the links pointing to your website.

Those 3 things I mentioned above are all you really need to rank for whatever search term you’d like, of course there are more details on how to get that done but that’s not what this post was meant to do. The first thing you’ll need is to get SEO Elite, without it your gonna be fighting a uphill battle and what should take days will take moths to achieve. Once you you’ve gotten SEO Elite just read through this post again and follow the steps plus the maker of the software Brad Callen is a 10 + year vet in Internet Marketing and SEO and has written a step by step in depth course on SEO and he’s giving it away for free on the SEO Elite website.

I hope this was helpful to you in figuring out SEO and what you need and don’t need.

This Clickbank system took Anik Singal and Saj P over 3 years to develop. The story behind it is actually pretty funny. Apparently they were independently working on the same system for years (didn’t even know each other) and realized it a few months ago when they met. Anyways, the point is that I reviewed the system. I was amazed at how fast you can execute this system (if you’re serious and dedicate to it). Last time I spoke with Saj P he told me that they’re getting ready to close the site very soon. I point blank asked him if he was “hyping” or serious and he said they are very serious.

If nothing else, at least read this page:

Clickbank Wealth Formula

Also right now they have TONS of amazing bonuses, I got sucked in just to grab some of the bonuses! For example – Have you made money using YouTube yet? Well, Anik Singal has made over $356,000 to be exact. He talks about how he’s giving away that entire system as a bonus as well. Like I said, if nothing else, I highly recommend at least reading this page you’ll regret it if you don’t and they take it down soon.

Checkout their system here.

No matter where you go on the web you’ll come across something having to do with Mobile and it being the future. With the success of the iPhone (just bought the iPhone 4 it’s great) and the App Store Apple defines itself as a mobile company now and no longer a computer computer. Google who’s Apple’s biggest competitor in the Mobile arena at this point has also been taking major steps to solidify it’s position in the market. There open source mobile operating system Android has been very successful over past few years and many feel in the long run it will beat the iPhone in sheer reach. Along with Android Google also purchased Admob the mobile ad network for $750 million.

With all these major companies setting up to control this market, we the little guys should most certainly be moving even quicker to make sure we’re ready to profit from the already billion dollar trend.

Just last month I launched my mobile entertainment site geared towards the music market and I’ve already turned a profit with barely any traffic. The site is so new that Google hasn’t even indexed it yet. I’ve just been driving traffic to it from my personal websites. I won’t tell you the name of the site yet because I don’t want the leeches duplicating my efforts this early in game, I have to make sure I’m killing this market first before I reveal anything, the same way I do with all my other websites.

Check out the screenshot from my first month earnings. Via Affiliate.com

And that’s from one Affiliate network with only traffic from my internal websites, and as you can see the traffic volume isn’t even that high, I made $1,320 with less than 1600 clicks. You guys have seen my traffic stats for my other sites 2 million visitors a month is a regular thing for me so just imagine where something like this can go. I really haven’t dialed this thing in yet with adverting, SEO, Ad Networks etc. With a little hard work this can easily become a 10k a month website in the next few months. And just think mobile is still in it’s infant stages.

If you already have a website start looking into implementing mobile apps for your site, and if your running a music site or blog and you haven’t implemented ringtones into your site yet your leaving money on the table.

How I Figured Out to Make Money with Cell Phones

I would love to take credit for being the one that came up with the idea but I wasn’t. I always had mobile offers incorporated into my site but didn’t make allot of money with it so I never gave it much attention. It wasn’t until I came across Cell Phone Treasure, a system made by this 18 year kid Adam Horwitz making a minimum of $378 per day through cell phones.

Cell Phone Treasure has video guides showing you exactly how to make real money with cell phones from setting up your site to advertising that site through mobile ad networks and more. He also logs into a couple Clickbank accounts to show you money that he’s making live with mobile offers.

Mobile is happening and it is happening fast, PayPal is the latest company to take a serious step into the mobile industry with the release of there mobile payment service for e-commerce merchants. Two retail giants Nike and Buy.com have already implemented the new system into there mobile applications. Mobile Express Checkout is designed to provide a seamless payment experience for consumers shopping from their iPhones and Android devices, and PayPal says the service will be available to all online retailers by the fall.

In a post announcing the launch on the official PayPal blog, PayPal indicated that its mobile transactions have risen from $25 million in 2008 to $141 million in 2009 (Wow!), and it projects around $500 million in mobile transactions this year. As an industry, experts have predicted the mobile payment business to exceed $633 billion by 2014.

Shoppers need only enter their PayPal account logins when using Mobile Express Checkout, expediting the payment process by eliminating the need for reentering shipping or billing information.

This is great news since I’m in the process of having apps built for my major sites especially Mixtapes.tv, with Mobile Express Checkout I can take orders easily through mobile devices.

A year ago I touched on In-Text Ads and how much a particular company (Kontera) sucked, In the post I mentioned Info Links and Vibrant Media and that I was going to try those two companies out before I quite on In-Text Ads all together. Since Kontera was so Horrible there is no way that Info Links or Vibrant Media could be worst. I also spoke on how strict Vibrant Media was and how I kept getting turned down when I applied, they always gave some vague reason like type of content, traffic etc.
Eventually I said forget it and went with Info Links, I signed up to them last year and we all know how last year was as far as income is concerned but even in the peak of the recession Info Links still paid far better than Kontera did a year before. Below is a week earnings for Info Links from May.

I remember a long time ago I couldn’t make that with Adsense, the screen shot above is from May and the earnings have gone up even more since then. During that month I was contacted by Vibrant Media, the same guys that turned me down 6 different times and said they would like to run there In-Text Ads on my sites. Nothing had changed about my site, the traffic was the same, it had the same professional design so I found it funny that they would all of a sudden want to work with my sites. I really wanted to tell them to eat shit but I couldn’t turn down the opportunity of making more money with them than with Info Links, so I decided to give them a weeks worth of my time which is more than enough time to make a decision. Below is a screen shot from that week.

As you can see from the screen shot above Vibrant Media earnings don’t come anywhere close to Info Links. Just because they say there number one for In-Text Ads doesn’t mean it’s true. There site and ads look very Vibrant but there is nothing Vibrant about there earnings. I haven’t logged back in since that week. I tried them both on multiple sites in different niches and the results were always the same. On the outside Vibrant Media seems to be the better company but once your logged in you’ll see who the real deal is. You can’t even change the color of the links for Vibrant Media without contacting support and asking them to do it.

Over all Info Links is a better company and they understand who there core publishers are, they provide plugins for WordPress, Blogger Joomla and many other resources for users to simply integrate Info Links into there sites.

That week I when removed Info Links they contacted me immediately and asked me what’s the deal, and I told them I was split testing between them and Vibrant Media for a week, they simply replied see you in a week.

That’s all there is to it Info Links is better….

Chozen.

Actually it’s my second month running a membership website but the first month I didn’t have a payment option set up yet because I wanted to test everything to make sure there were no bugs, security issues etc. On May 1st was when I launched the Premium part of my website Mixtapes.tv. The business model I used for my membership site is the Fremium model aka the “try it before you buy it” model. In this day and age plus the type of audience I’m selling to, this model works great. I believe my product was good enough so I didn’t have any issues with offering it for free and then later offering a upgrade to unlock more features.

A little bit about my membership site.

It’s called Mixtapes.tv, it’s a site where DJs, Artists, and A&Rs can upload and share there mixtapes for free. Users are able to sign up and download these mixtapes for free as well. The key to this site is knowing what parts should be free and what parts shouldn’t be. For example users can sign up and download 5 mixtapes a month as zip files but a premium member can download unlimited mixtapes, another feature is premium members can download individual tracks but free users can’t. The method here is that you have to make the free service good enough for them to want to upgrade to the premium service. For example a user can use the site forever as free member to listen and download unlimited mixtapes. This creates user retention and will eventually lead to upgrades.

The money is in the re bill.

Don’t know how many affiliate marketers are reading reading my blog but if you’ve ever promoted ringtone offers, you must have wondered how some of these companies are able to pay affiliates $16 to $30 per lead on a $9.90 offer, that’s because within 3 months they’ve regained 100% return on there investment. Most users will not cancel there subscription because it automatically gets added to there cell phone bill and they forget about it, and since it’s only $9.90 they don’t really pay attention to the charge. This is why low subscription pricing is so valuable. Jeremy from ShoeMoney.com touched on something similar when talking about Gym memberships and how it’s the perfect business.

My First Month Running A Membership Website

The Premium part of my site went live on May 1st, and the first 7 days no one upgraded, LOL. I was like oh shit no one likes the site but then on May 8th my first premium membership came in. I was so excited even though it was only $5.99, it feels really good when someone wants to buy something you are selling. After that first sale the upgrades started coming in with a average of 2 sign ups per day. So far I’ve had one disgruntle customer which was not my fault but as a result of a server side issue between PayPal and Wishlist Member.

Results after 30 days

I know it’s not Yacht money but that’s not my aim at this point, right now all I’m doing is focusing on making the service the best it can be. If I achieve that then I won’t have to worry about making money because the product will sell itself. Now remember these members are now in a billing cycle and this month an estimated 30 more Premium upgrades will occur which will double the earnings the following month, the real money will be made months down the line with the compounded revenue generated through subscribers singing up month after month. So far over 8,000 members have signed up 32 of which are premium members, keep in mind that 60% of those members signed up the 1st month before the premium option was available.

Not to mention I really haven’t dialed this thing in yet, I’m still testing. I haven’t implemented follow up via email marketing, special offers, advertising, affiliate program or anything else for that matter. 90% of the traffic going to the site right now is coming from my other websites HipHopMusicDotCom.com. and a little from ComeWatchMe.com, once the traffic from search engines starts to really pick up in a couple months I’ll start to look more like the competition, who has a whopping 20,000 premium members, so I know the market is very healthy.

In conclusion.

Don’t treat a membership website like a regular eccommerce website, it’s not a sprint it’s a marathon. You think of it that way and you’ll see the real profits in the long run, I’m going to be writing a post soon about how to set up a membership site and the right tools to use to get it done.

I’m out……Chozen

Now I don’t mean to brag but I’m quite the expert when it comes to getting traffic from Facebook for free, and I’ve been doing it for a very long time. The thing about free traffic from Facebook “Like” pages, groups and profiles is that in most cases it doesn’t convert very well into sales, but if you invest the time it does and can be great if you work at it and tweak it just right. But this could take months and on the internet a couple months for a business is a life time.

I’m not talking about making money on Facebook in a couple months here I’m talking about making money on Facebook tomorrow. You can’t do that with free traffic and that’s where Facebook ads come in.

A few things you might not know about Facebook.

Facebook is the most visited site in the US.

It now gets more traffic than Google.

It cost ten times less than Google Adwords.

You don’t need a website to advertise on Facebook.

Super Affiliate Jonathan Volk just recently wrote a very intuitive but easy to read Facebook advertising guide that shows you step by step how to advertise effectively on Facebook and save hours of mistakes and thousands of dollars. Jonathan Volk is not some newbie to Internet Marketing, he’s been doing it for years and what’s in the guide are the same techniques he used to pull in $1,107,623 just from Facebook.

I just recently started advertising my new membership site Mixtapes.tv on Facebook and I must say the ads work so much better than the free traffic I’ve been receiving from the “Like” pages. But there is a learning curve to using it. I’ll have a post up soon showing some of my first month stats and sales using Facebook, many of the techniques which are covered in the guide.

He just released the guide to the public and he’s having a early bird special.

Check it out FBAdsGuide.com

One of the most popular alternative uses for WordPress is building membership / subscription based websites, with this demand a few great WordPress membership plugins have popped up.I my self just recently launched my membership website Mixtapes.TV with one of these plugins and it’s been great. Before I chose my membership plugin I researched for a couple weeks to see which plugin best met my needs, below is the list of plugins I came across.

WishlistMember: The now very popular WishlistMember plugin was not even around when I first started looking for membership plugins, but when I later ran into it, making the choice to purchase it was a no brainier because before it came along when other plugins at the time were not that great. Some of the features that stood out were Sequential Content Delivery, Multi-Level Access, Secure RSS Feeds, Control Viewed Content and features that just weren’t available at the time with other plugins, just by watching the videos on the site you can tell that the plugin was built by someone who actually has a membership site and understood how they worked. I bought WishlistMember a while back but I just started using it last month to launch my membership website MixTapes.TV which is a niche music subscription based service.

WishlistMember is also frequently updated, there next update will be a big one where there going to have new integrations with Mailchimp.com, file protection, infusionsoft integration and more. Another great thing about WishlistMember is the fact that it has a API which makes it easy to integrate with other plugins and 3rd party service in fact I’m using a in-house media plugin that is fully integrated with WishlistMember and I’ll be releasing that plugin in the future for FREE! WishlistMember most likely will have what your looking for in a membership plugin and would be a great choice for your project.

MagicMembers: Honestly If this plugin was around before I purchased WishlistMember I would have purchased it because even though I love WishlistMember there were some key features that are not available yet. Most of these features MagicMembers had because now that they had a blueprint like WishlistMember to follow so all they had to do is copy them and then add more features. Some of the key features include download manager, integration with Authorize.net and WorldPay, member only RSS feeds and more. One of the things that allot of people want from a membership plugin is the ability to run an affiliate program, MagicMembers solves this problem by offering a another plugin called MagicAffiliate which is fully integrated with MagicMembers and WP Ecommerce plugin.

wp-Member: When I first ran into this plugin I wasn’t impressed with it mostly because of it’s pricing at the time witch was subscription based, it was one of the first WordPress membership plugins and didn’t really have much features to begin with. As the competition grew they stepped there game up and rolled out all the features expected from a membership plugin and I like the fact that they support Google Checkout which MagicMembers and WishlistMember do not.

The best thing about wp-Member is how much you can customize your member registration page, something that is not as flexible with WishlistMember and MagicMembers. This is very important for a membership website and I’m glad to see wp-Member put so much work into it, below are some screen shots of a different types of registration pages.

MemberWing: This plugin is like MagicMembers and WishlistMember on steroids, they take all the best features from both of them and then add 10x more features, I mean damn near overkill. If you can’t find what you want with this membership plugin you might as well just build your own. They support more payment processors than any other membership plugin which include Paypal, 2Checkout.com, ClickBank.com, PayDotCom.com, e-junkie.com, Google Checkout, Authorize.net, and even TrialPay. if you want to run your own affiliate program MemberWing can be fully integrated with the number one affiliate management software iDevAffiliate.

They also have this really cool feature called First Click Free that allows better promotion of membership site on search engines. Implemented according to Google First Click Free Specs.

Other features include a powerful file protection feature as well as being fully integrated with TraceFusion that finds out exactly who steals, illegally shares and distributes your premium materials on internet. Detect, Trace, Terminate and Prosecute members who are involved in illegal sharing of your premium digital content. TraceFusion is like CCTV security camera with night vision and recording – but implemented as a software to protect your digital property against crooks, giving you the power to protect your online business like never before.

And that’s just the beginning of the features that they offer If this was around in the early days of membership plugins, this would most likely be my choice.

The only downside to MemberWing is that they only support 4 different membership levels but for 90% of people that’s more than enough.

WP-eMember: Along with purchasing WishlistMember I purchased WP eMember not because I wanted it but they offered an Affiliate Software that was compatible with WishlistMember, they offered a packaged deal so I ended up buying them all.

Judging by the price I didn’t think this plugin would have much features but I was was wrong. It comes with all the features that you would expect from a membership plugin and it’s compatible with a list of other plugins including there list of in-house plugins which includes Affiliate Software and WP eStore.

Digital Access Pass: This is another great WordPress membership plugin with features that rival MemberWing. Payment processors supported include 1ShoppingCart (and all private labels), ClickBank and Paypal Standard, for shopping cart Digital Access Pass directly supports Authorize.net, Paypal Express Checkout and Paypal Payments Pro. No need for 3rd party shopping carts. Digital Access Pass itself becomes your Shopping Cart.

Key features include:

Digital Access Pass has a built in affiliate program that supports both Pay-Per-Lead and Pay-Per-Sale, this is a big deal!
File protection for .mp3, .zip, .flv, .zip, .exe. .pdf, .doc. .xls, .mpeg. .swf, .js.
Pay As You Go Subscriptions, Pay-Per-View, Pay-Per-Download.

There are at least a dozen other features that make this plugin incredible, this is worth checking out.

EasyPayPal: This is a very basic and simple membership plugin that allows you to run a simple membership website using PayPal for payments. If your not looking for crazy over the top features for your blog then this is the plugin for you.

Your Members: One of the original WordPress membership plugins and just like wp-Member it didn’t have much features to begin with but it has improved it’s specs and now functions like a premium WordPress membership plugin. They also have a API in the works for easy integration with other plugins.

CMS Members: A new comer to the WordPress membership market with a few stand out features like being the only WordPress MU compatible membership plugin and easily integrated with self-hosted or online affiliate marketing systems easily. They also have a cool built in HTML E-Mail newsletter feature for mass mailing your members.

InfusionWP: I don’t know much about this plugin except that it’s a “WordPress membership plugin that will turn a normal WordPress site into a full featured membership site, with all the imaginable protection controls at your disposal, yet drawing its data from your Infusionsoft application. You guys will have to do you due diligence with this one. ”

That last one was quoted folks….

Well I gave you the list, the hard part is now finding the one that best fits your needs. Remember the best membership plugin may not be the best for your site, Digital Access Pass and MemberWing both beat out WishlistMember as far features are concerned but they didn’t offer a API and WishlistMember did which was something I needed for my project, so that’s something to keep in mind.

Good Luck, Chozen…….

I know I haven’t updated this site since December 17th 2009 and I’m sorry but at the time I really wasn’t equipped to help others make money with there website because I was so preoccupied with running my own sites, and official launching my business Covanant Network.

Since the year started I’ve been doing my internet business full time, and it’s been pretty good, I’ve launched two new sites one is a video site and the other is a membership website both of which I can say had successful launches. Below is run down of how my sites have been doing.

First of all let me address my original site HipHopMusicDotCom.com, this site has sure become quite the blog going from a ugly blogspot blog to now averaging over 2,000,000 page views monthly. Yesterday I did 33,000 unique visitors and almost broke 100,000 pageviews and the traffic isn’t showing any sign of slowing down. Even though the traffic is crazy that really isn’t where the success is with the website. The real success is the two new revenue streams I’ve able to create for the website, originally most of my earnings came from Google Adsense, InfoLinks and Adbrite but now I’ve been making money with selling direct ads and video ads.

If you have video content and haven’t incorporated video ads yet into your site, you need to because the payout is far more lucrative that contextual based ads. So far I’ve been working with LongTailVideo Adsolution and ScanScout, I’m going to be writing a post that covers video advertising, video ad networks and pretty much everything else you need to know regarding making money with video ads.

The second revenue stream I’ve unlocked on HipHopMusicDotCom.com is direct advertising, since this year started I’ve been getting quite a few advertising offers. With the help a little Ad Manager plugin called OIO Publisher which I use to manage all my direct ad sales, I don’t think I’d be able to handle direct ad sales efficiently without it and you can expect to see a post about that coming soon.

Between those two new revenue streams and my existing ones I’ve been able to double my monthly earnings and I needed it since I’m on more expensive servers now.

As far as Music Video Cast is concerned, I haven’t updated since the year started and will never update ever again not since I’ve launched ComeWatchMe.com in January of this year. Music Video Cast will be deprecated and all the posts will be moved to ComeWatchMe.com after running MusicVideoCast.com for almost 3 years I think it’s safe to say it’s reach it’s limit as far as growth potential. It had a few big moments in it’s life span but I just couldn’t take it to the next level the way I did with HipHopMusicDotCom.com one of the reasons being that it’s just about music videos which is a very small niche with allot of other sites people would rather go to. I did manage to get it to the top of the second page of Google for “Music Videos” which brought it allot a traffic and continues to but that’s the past and ComeWatchMe.com is the future.

ComeWatchMe.com was lunched on January 15th and since then it has been doing very well, in only 4 months it’s doubled the traffic that Music Video Cast receives. In about 3 years video ads will be everywhere this will be a multi billion dollar industry so I’m gearing up and preparing for that growth from now. Video ads will be in 2013 what Google Adsense was in 2003 and just like Adsense it’s the niche sites that are going to really benefit from this market, instead of trying to be the next YouTube people should focus on building niche on demand video sites. This is what I’m doing with ComeWatchMe.com at the moment, I’m focusing on video ads on the site currently but there is one contextual banner ad on the site but the focus is video ads and it’s already showing good numbers. I expect big this from this site in the future.

The other site I launched was MixTapes.TV at the end of March, this site has been something I wanted to start two years ago but didn’t have the tools or money to do it until now. The original name was MixtapeCast.com to match MusicVideoCast.com then I changed it to MixtapePlayer.com which was a great name until the end of last year I saw MixTapes.TV for sale on Sedo, I won it in a auction for $150.00 which is a steal for a top level domain, with this name combined with my SEO and Social Media skills I guarantee you I’ll be number one in Google for the search term “mixtapes” by September. It’s a subscription based (my first one) site built around the very popular niche of “mixtapes”. The launch was pretty crazy so crazy that I ended up moving to a new server because it just couldn’t handle the traffic. In one month I’ve already had 3,300 sign ups, I was on the second page of Yahoo for “mixtapes” in less than 2 weeks, 70,000 unique visitors, 160,000 pageviews and 200,000 media streams. Currently this site is my main priority and I’m working very hard to make it profitable before the summer is over.

I also officially have my company name now which is called “Covanant” not to mistaken with Covenant though they have a similar meaning, Covanant stands for a “Solemn Promise To Excel In Business”, yeah I invented (patent pending). I’m going to be launching that site soon. The logo is below..

That’s pretty much what I’ve been up yo since the year started, which is why I haven’t been able to update this site as much as I would like but I’ll promise that from this point I will try my best to do at least one post per day. After all I do plan one day to turn this site into big business as well.

That’s it for now, later………….

This new collaboration enables Bloggers to monetize their content by adding relevant Amazon products to their blog posts without interrupting the blog editing process. Amazon Associates for Blogger is available now available here on Associates Central. Amazon Associates who don’t have a Google Blogger account can set up a free Blogger account with their Associates ID and start earning right away.

The new tool allows Bloggers to add links and images to their blog posts in just 2 easy steps:

1.Bloggers highlight the relevant text and the Amazon Product Finder will search Amazon’s millions of products and recommend the ones that are most closely associated with the text

2.Bloggers can then insert a link or image to that product which includes their Associates ID, enabling them to earn up to 15% in referral fees from Amazon

Bloggers will also be able to show dynamic content in their blog sidebar using a new set of integrated Sidebar gadgets, such as gadgets for MP3 clips from the Amazon DRM-free music store, an Amazon Deals gadget, and an Amazon Search box.
