I must apologize for the down time that recently happened with my site. I was switching over to a new domain registrar DreamHost.com to host my domains DNS and I thought that everything would be a piece of cake with the transfer, but as it turned out, it was not.

Now my sites DNS is with DreamHost.com, they seem to be a great company. If you would like to switch over to them, use the Promo Code SILKYJAY and save 10% on a monthly, yearly, and two year hosting plan.

I had someone the other day present this problem to me about the game Crysis. Every time they would go make a change to the settings in-game it would crash. The event log showed the following (this was in Windows 7 64bit). This issues was presenting itself when running the 32bit version of the game also.

Faulting application name: crysis.exe, version: 1.1.1.6156, time stamp: 0x47d6d167
Report Id: da84b84b-6d90-11de-ae9d-001c256e0adc

After alot of searching around I was able to find a solution. This persons issue was fixed by swapping out some dll files in the bin32 and bin64 folder, the CryAction.dll from both folders for some reason was causing this issue. This person is up and running now without any problems stemming from his game now.

I have included the needed dll files in this post for download Crysis DLL files (346)

Our community now uses a known system by Invision Power Systems, Inc. better known as IP.board. It has some really awesome features that I am sure everyone will like. One that deserves mention is the custom login handlers that allow users to sign-up and login with Facebook Connect, Windows Live, and OpenID eliminating the need to fill out all those registration form fields, but don’t worry you can still use the good old traditional login method and fill those fields out. Either way come on by and get involved, see you there!
