Aram and Annemieke gave me a call just three days before their wedding on the 5th of May. They had seen the wedding photos of Leontien & Bart and were considering the need of a professional photographer on their big day. They asked me if I would shoot for just three hours. Now this is something I normally don’t do. I want to tell a complete story and not just cover the ceremony, but there was something that felt good in their follow-up email that made me think a bit longer. I’m glad I did and so I met Aram and Annemieke. Lovely people, amazing friends and a lot of kids Their ceremony was small and lovely. No fancy stuff, just love. I enjoyed it and so did everyone that was there. Aram and Annemieke, thanks so much for giving me a call and letting me be a small part of your day!

I wanted to share one preview shot from last weeks Love Shoot. I was able to do a shoot with the lovely Diana and her husband to be Wyman. They are both from Singapore. I got an email from them many months ago that they wanted to do a shoot in and near Amsterdam. Of course I said yes and we set something up. This is just one shot, and more to come soon Thanks for a great day Diana and Wyman!

Last weekend I photographed my first wedding of this year and possibly already one of the most lovely ones as well. Leontien and Bart had such a great wedding.

A beautiful little church in Amsterdam is where they started their journey as husband and wife together. After this they hopped on an oldies tractor and drove to a nearby farm, where all of their friends and family joined them for a lovely dinner and party! Leontien and Bart, you are both amazing people. It was such a privilege to be part of your day and being able to capture your story. I hope to see you guys soon for a small drink when you are back from your honeymoon. Just to flick through some pictures and relive a few memories.

That’s it… what a day it was…!

Last saturday I shot my first wedding of this year. It couldn’t have been a better start. I had a wonderful couple and a beautiful day. I will be posting more of this wedding in the upcoming weeks but for now I want to thank Leontien & Bart and show them one shot of their amazing day.

Last week I was able to shoot an amazing couple in Utrecht. Paul is Irish and Kelly is half Dutch, half Australian. I loved them from the start. So open, so much fun. They live near Maastricht, but we decided to do the shoot in Utrecht. We had a great time and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in July. Paul, Kelly.. I hope you guys like the images, I know I do

Yvonne and Jeff send me an email about two months ago. They told me they were getting married by the end of this summer and that they were looking for a photographer who could capture their wedding. They really liked my style and wanted to meet me. Of course I was happy to meet them and ever since it feels like I knew them for so much longer already! We had a great time during their love shoot. Laughing and talking a lot. The pictures turned out great, thanks to the both of them. Check them out below!

Last saturday was an amazing day. The sun was shining over Amsterdam and I had the luck to be shooting a wonderful couple. Patricia and Michiel contacted me a couple of weeks ago to shoot their wedding in may this year. When they heard about the love shoots I was doing they were all for it. I love it when a couple brings something to the shoot that really tells something about them. In this case Patricia and Michiel are both amateur boxers and they asked if it was ok to bring their gloves. Sure, why not!? Let’s get shooting I said We had a great day together. Thanks Patricia and Michiel. It will be a great day in May I know for sure!

Yesterday was a beautiful day in Amsterdam. No clouds, loads of sun and two amazing people. I met Monique and Roderik last year when I was shooting the wedding of Sarah and Tomas. Yesterday I was shooting a Love Shoot with them and in August of this year I will be shooting their wedding. I can’t wait! Monique and Roderik, thanks for a wonderful day yesterday and the glass of “bruidstranen”! I had a great time and I hope the pictures show just that!

Last friday I was sitting at home, post processing images from the last shoots I did… this is how it goes nowadays. Post processing a lot. I like to sit behind my computer and see how good shots become magical pictures, but sometimes you just need to pick yourself up and go outside.
