The said minimum fare rollback is effective today, May 15, 2012. The decision resulted from a series of reviews of the fare hike of P2, that is, from 8.00 PhP to 10 PhP, wherein there have several oil price rollbacks just recently. Hence, the board’s final decision to deny the said petition and thereby pull the fare back to 8.00 PhP.

A month ago, the fare was set to a .50¢ increase, owing to the recall of a certain provisional increase. If you commute your way to your day to day destinations, you should take note of this very important update. You have the right to be informed and pay what is really due as much as legal bases are concerned.

Reads the LTFRB’s order:

The petition praying for an increase (of) P2 from the existing P8 to P10 minimum fare rate for the first four kilometers and increase of 35 centavos from the existing P1.40 to P1.75 for every succeeding kilometer is hereby denied with finality..

…Finding that public service and convenience will be best served, the board hereby resolved, as it hereby resolves, to recall the provisional increase of fifty centavos per order dated March 20, 2012..

As reported here and abroad, oil prices fell further in the month of May amid easing of tensions over the eurozone’s political and economic problems

In the said order, the LTFRB declared that the petitioners had announced in public that;

..they would withdraw the petition for fare hike if the prices of diesel went down to P45 per liter. (www.philstar.com/)

Further on LTFRB’s order:

A condition in the March 20 resolution stated: ‘In the event of any future decrease in the oil prices to the P45 level in diesel fuel, the board shall recall, alter or modify this order to correspond with the demands of the public

The said minimum fare rollback is applicable to Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, and Calabarzon. Visayas regions shall be implementing a P7.50 rate.

Other thing you should know? Well maybe, you should be mindful of the on going petition being held by the transport operators in the taxi industry, wherein they are demanding a 50.00 PhP flag down rate.

But for the sake arriving at a rational figure, the Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) wants the government to conduct a study on the proposed wage hike with respect to industries’ capacity to finance their workers.

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB), comprised by the Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) filed a 4-page petition, stating the reduced purchasing power of the country’s work force, therefore the immediate need for the supposed salary increase. TUCP president Democrito Mendoza said:

As of December 2011, the purchasing power of the latest P426 daily minimum is P248.40, or an erosion of 41.69 percent..

On the matter of gasoline price increase, Mendoza stated that:

The increase in prices of essential commodities constitute supervening condition that should require the RTWPB to grant another round of salary hike..

Government data shows that the recent Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose from 121.4 to 122.9 – equivalent to P5.28. With that, Mendoza explained that:

The P5.28 must be added to the current minimum wage aside from the projected nine percent increase in CPI as a result of the further price increases of oil, LPG, automatic price adjustments in electricity in the months ahead..

The wage board therefore should also decide to add another P38.34 to the current minimum pay as well as the P2 per day share of the growth in Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) for the past 23 years since 1989 as equity supplement which is equivalent to P46.

Philippine consumers’ buying capacity has been vulnerable in the past years, hence the need for a stronger provision to empower or at least upgrade the buying power of the Philippine peso.// < ![CDATA[

Hence, comparatively, they are seen rather economical.

Most these pool pump motors above the ground are equipped with a single speed pump, which runs at one common range of speed all the time. This means that higher energy and cost are needed over time. In response, pool pump manufacturers developed dual speed pool pumps with both low and high speed settings. This gives a user to switch to low or high speed run for basic and intensive pool operations respectively.

Such technology also conforms with the advocacy of caring about the environment. If a pool owner uses a low speed motor operation, he/she is actually reducing the possible energy losses that the machine operation may cause. Therefore lower emission will be going to our already damaged ozone layer.

Having an efficient above the ground pool pump motors go in line with the global movement towards environmental sustainability. In the entire state of California, energy saving pumps are required by law for compliance.

Next time you intend to buy your own pool pump motors, make sure you buy the efficient ones and those that comply with environmental safety standards. You may want to try hayward pool pump motors for a start.

<g:plusone size="standard" count="1" href="http://www.skamid.com/technology/led-color-chromatic-charts/"></g:plusone>

LED Color Charts, LED Chromatic Charts — If you are in the lookout for the operating properties and user characteristics of LEDs or Light Emitting Diodes, you definitely need this LED Color Chart, as what the tabulated data would show below. This is for the technical viewers out there, who sought for the technical aspects of lighting particularly LEDs.

In like manner, we also managed to gather the related LED Chromatic Charts or simply, the Chromatic property measurement system for leds that we use in our daily chores. If you are into lights and would like to design a certain industry using LEDs, then this chart is definitely for you.

In a study made under the collaboration of Cheng Jian-bo, Jiang Quan and Li Jun-jian at the School of Opto-electronic Information, UESTC, Chengdu 610054, China, they stated that:

Because LED have many advantages, such as high brightness, large viewing angle, fast response time, light weigh and low driving voltage [1][2], it can be used as light-source or display devices. Spectra, and chromaticity coordinates and CCT are important parameters for LED. Measurement for chromaticity is one kind of ripen technology, and it is integration of optics, spectroscopy, accuracy mechanics and electronic technology.

Hence, for the technical gurus and enthusiasts of lighting technologies and systems out there, knowing the properties of the colors that you choose for your industry designs is but a basic pre-requisite.

Ana “The Hurricane” Julaton will be defending her WBO belt against Yesica “La Leona” Marcos in San Martin, Argentina on March 16.

GMA 7 Network will be airing this Ana “The Hurricane” Julaton vs Yesica “La Leona” Marcos for a weekend treat on March 18, at 11:00 AM. It is dubbed as the “Laban ng Lahi presents Giyera sa Argentina: Ana Julaton vs. Yesica Marcos“.

Julaton takes into thoughts what had happened to Johnriel Casimero who got suffered a very unbecoming post-fight experience when the Argentinian crowd got mad due to an alleged cheating on their hometown bet Lazarte. The riot was terrible. Thus, Ana “The Hurricane” will be out there to deliver her utmost performance.

It was a surprising and terrible incident that unfortunately resulted in a dark reflection of Argentina. However, I need to treat this as an isolated case as it happened in an area different from where my fight against Yesica Marcos will be held. As a champion, I cannot let this incident distract me from my responsibility of keeping my title

This is the fight between the nature itself and one of its fiercest creatures, lion. Get the hype of this IBA and WBO women’s super bantamweight title fight between Ana Julaton and Yesica Marcos. Secure your Julaton vs Marcos stream link early on, so you won’t miss this much-expected event.

25-year old Yesica Marcos is holding an unblemished record of 18-0 with 6 knockouts, while Ana Julaton has 10 wins including 1 knockout, 2 losses and 1 draw. However, the 31-year old Filipina fighter stays unshaken by her opponent’s record and fight stats.

The competition is fierce but I naturally train and perform well under such circumstances. I have fought other world champions with more experience than me and Marcos’ record doesn’t faze me..

I have learned to treat all my fights with the same attention and intensity. I expect to fight under extreme circumstances and have endured such..

Julaton is taking off for this challenge, bearing a unanimous decision victory against Jessica Villafranca of Mexico. Ana is confident enough to indulge the defense fight. With the great help from her team and trainer Angelo Reyes, Ana Julaton hopes to continue to be regard as among the:

fastest to become a champion in boxing history after only seven professional fights..

Again, the fight will be on the 16th of March for the live stream, while it is on the 18th for the GMA Network airing. Stay connected so as not to miss either the Julaton vs Marcos live streaming or GMA 7s airing on Sunday this week.
