  • I would have a full course-load every semester
  • I had to take summer classes and apply for academic credit for internships to finish on time
  • every course I was to take had to be something that counted for either of the majors
    • What it also meant was that at no point in any semester would I be able to say, "Hey. That course on Existentialist Themes in German Literature looks interesting." or "Whoa... a course on Dracula? Totally want to take that!" So what? Lots of people don't even have clean drinking water. I'll get over it.
