Nashville, Tenn. Nov. 29, 2011… No strangers to television exposure, The Afters’ latest songs from their album Light Up the Sky have received placement on a slew of TV promotions including NBC’s popular “The Biggest Loser” and ABC’s new philanthropic “You Deserve It”.

“Light Up the Sky” will be played in the Dec. 6 finale of NBC’s mega hit “The Biggest Loser.” ABC’s new show “You Deserve It” has also been supportive of The Afters’ music using “Lift Me Up” in promotion for the program.

In addition to No. 1’s at both AC and CHR radio, both “Light Up the Sky” and “Lift Me Up” have been constant mainstays in the top 5 on the iTunes ® Christian and Gospel Songs Chart. “Lift Me Up” is still Top 10 at AC Indicator.

Texas-based band The Afters were propelled into the national spotlight with their INO/Sony Music Label Group debut I Wish We All Could Win. The project spawned the swirling, melodic hit “Beautiful Love,” earning the band an enthusiastic following when the song was selected as the theme track for MTV’s “8th and Ocean.” “Beautiful Love” was also the most downloaded track of 2006 on the iTunes ® Inspirational charts and garnered the band an mtvU award as well. The Afters’ sophomore release Never Going Back To OK (INO/Columbia Records) debuted in the Top 50 on the Billboard Top 200, and proved to be sensation on the silver screen with “Grey’s Anatomy” (ABC), “Dr. Phil,” “Army Wives” (Lifetime) and “Rachael Ray.” The band’s third record Light Up the Sky has bolstered two No. 1 radio hits, as well as placement in “The Biggest Loser” (NBC) and “You Deserve It” (ABC). A slew of media including Rolling Stone, Seventeen.com, E! News Live, TV Guide, Premiere Radio and more also picked up on covering The Afters.

He has recorded 4 albums: “Even More”, “Letting Go”, “The Bridge,” and most recently his debut Christmas album “What Christmas Means.” All three of Anthony’s major releases were written at times in life when he was trying to understand the depth of God’s love.
NASHVILLE, TN — When the holiday season comes around, music superstars Amy Grant and Vince Gill will embark on their sixth Christmas tour. The Twelve Days Of Christmas – Amy Grant & Vince Gill kicks off Dec. 7 in Baltimore, MD and wraps with 2 shows in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium. “Christmas audiences are special,” explains Grant. “They tend to involve the whole family, and their emotions are a wonderful mix of anticipation and reverence. It’s a thrilling experience for both of us.” “These holiday tours have become our favorites,” Gill agrees.

In their two hour program, the Grammy-winning husband-and-wife team will present cherished standards and as well as newer seasonal fare.

Amy Grant’s career spans over 25 years and stretches from her roots in gospel into an iconic pop star, songwriter, television personality, and philanthropist. Grant has sold more than 30 million albums and won six GRAMMY® Awards in multiple categories, beginning with the platinum selling Age to Age in 1982. She also has six #1 hits, including “Baby, Baby,” and “Every Heartbeat” and is one of only two Christian artists to be awarded a star on the legendary Walk of Fame in Hollywood. Grant released her first live recording in 25 years with Time Again…Amy Grant Live in September 2006, and then announced her first ever label shift to EMI Music Group where her entire music catalog was re-mastered and released via a GREATEST HITS CD and made available for the first time digitally. In the fall of 2008 she released her first new Christmas music in 9 years, THE CHRISTMAS COLLECTION, and this past March released her first new music in 6 years, with SOMEWHERE DOWN THE ROAD featuring the Grammy nominated song “Better Than A Hallelujah.”

One of the most popular singers in modern country music, Vince Gill has a love for country music, top-notch songwriting, and world-class guitar playing, all wrapped in a warm tenor and a quick and easy wit. Gill achieved his big breakthrough with “When I Call Your Name,” which won the Country Music Association’s Single of the Year award. Since then, he has won 17 more CMA honors, including Song of the Year four times – making him the most awarded artist in that category in CMA history. Since 1990, Gill has walked away with 20 Grammy Awards and has racked up sales in excess of 26 million. Gill co-hosted the CMA Awards for 12 consecutive years. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2007. After a long and musically productive spell of writing, touring and recording with other artists, he roars back on his own with “Threaten Me With Heaven,” his first single in four years. The song is the opening salvo from his MCA Records album, Guitar Slinger, released Oct. 24. Gill boasts three best-selling Christmas albums of his own: Let There Be Peace On Earth, Breath Of Heaven and Christmas Collection.

We just launched a brand new site for Family Force 5!

The Family Force 5 band is made up of “brothers- Jacob, Josh, and Solomon Olds, and brothers-from-other-mothers, Nathan Currin and Derek Mount. Since 2005, the genre-obliterating Atlanta quintet has been setting audiences’ feet alight with their incendiary dance-rock anthems, turning that dance floor into hot coals, refusing to let fans keep their kicks still. Their first album came out in 2006, Business Up Front, followed by their 2nd album in 2008 Dance or Die. Now after three years of touring the universe and electrifying crowds at big festivals like Sonisphere and the Vans Warped Tour, the band is back with their new release, III. ‘We wanted this to be our Thriller album.’ (Read More)

Go, and check out their new website, and their new album III.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

for Latest Release

(Nashville, Tenn) Oct. 12, 2011— Response, the latest release from critically acclaimed worship artist Phil Wickham (Fair Trade Services), made a grand entrance this week peaking at No. 1 on iTunes® Christian/Gospel Albums Chart and debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart, No. 4 on the Christian Soundscan Chart and rising as high as Top 25 on iTunes® overall chart.

The reviews continue to pour in giving praise to Wickham’s latest effort from critics and bloggers alike:

“For his fourth studio effort, Phil Wickham channels the psalmists of old, voicing appreciation and adoration for the different aspects of God that are seen throughout our lives and circumstances. Partnering again with Pete Kipley, Wickham also brought in Brown Bannister to co-produce. This collective approach carried over to the songwriting, too, with multiple collaborations representing more than just Wickham’s heart.”-Rhapsody.com

“Filled with 11 songs useful in congregational worship, this is the Phil Wickham release worship leaders have been waiting for.” -Worship Leader Magazine

“The hype is well substantiated; Phil Wickham is one of the few “praise & worship” artists who bring musical and lyrical creativity to their songs.” -The Waking Blog

“You will be inspired to worship along with this gorgeous, serene music as you contemplate the goodness of God and His glory and power.” -Jay’s Musik Blog

“‘Response’ is a beautiful album telling us of God’s wonderful mercy and grace, showing God’s character and love for us.” -Edge Of The Plank Blog

“One word sums up my feelings about this album: angelic. Phil Wickham knows how to craft words and make them sound more beautiful than anything you have ever heard.” -The Christian Music Review Blog

Radio stations across the U.S. are jumping at the chance to play Wickham’s latest hit single, “At Your Name (Yahweh, Yahweh).” With nearly 50 stations already on board including K-Love, KSBJ/Houston and Joy FM/St. Louis, each week more and more networks are joining to support the single.
