I loved putting together the mood board for Jot Magazine.
Some gorgeous photos to inspire you in September.

Inspired by the feel of travel I made a page about Melbourne.

I painted the frame to fit the colour combo.

And gave a bit of a colour wash to the paper.

Could do with a holiday about now!

The Kraft Plus challenge will have you buzzing. I added some yellow ink to some Faber Castell Whipped Spackle,
Which gave my lines some awesome texture.

I altered some cork numbers, from Crate Paper.

Added some black paint to the honeycomb looking chipboard from Scrapmatts.

Added my journaling.

Hope you find some inspiration and make like a bee,
Getting busy and creating something.

I found a printable toucan (on a colour in site)

Used a gift tag from one of Dave's presents

Altered a tea bag label

And added some journaling.

To create a fun, colourful page.

"Gwen" - Kraft Plus July 2017 Challenge

The July Kraft Plus challenge graphic is super cool
But the challenge gave me chills!!

Flowers are always a hard addition to my pages.

So I thought I'd get clever and print some roses on to my cardstock.
That would get one, of the three needed for the challenge,
Out of the way without a fuss.

Then I added some die cut roses
And finished it off with paper one.

Job done!

The chills were gone and I was happy with the results.

Do you steer clear of flowers too?
Or is there something else you find hard to add to your scrap pages?

Adding journaling with my trusty typewriter is my favourite.

April has certainly started with a fresh feeling.
The new challenge that is over on Kraft Plus
Certainly adds to the freshness of April.
It's all about paint chips and there is nothing
Like a coat of paint to freshen things up!

I kept things simple this month

And using my poor neglected Silhouette Cameo

I cut the title out of my paint chip.

Then, using foam tape, I placed each letter back over the negative space.

There was little debate over the spelling on the title of this page.
It seemed right with the American spelling
But I went for the English version
Which has a double L.
And here endeth the English lesson!
