Whew, the editing I had to do here really made Canva struggle. The timing was starting to get cumbersome so I ended up editing all the video clips first, downloading them as one whole video, then adding the text in a separate file. It’s so weird that even the desktop version of Canva seems to be almost as slow as the browser version.

BER months mean wedding season, too. There’s this young finance influencer I’ve been following recently, Jax Reyes, and I realized that my husband and I actually applied his “10x Principle” on our church wedding budget in 2023. It was probably the only thing we did the “10x principle” on because prior to landing on his channel, I’ve always been the “2x principle” girlie. I don’t spend on a want unless I have 2x the money required for it. But because our church wedding happened right after the pandemic was lifted, and we were in “conserve money” mode, we only spent 10% of our savings on it. When I later discovered Jax Reyes, and learned about his 10x Rule, I realized that we had inadvertently applied it on our wedding budgeting, and that we should have been applying it on ALL LUXURY WANTS. Like, right now, we have the urge to buy a new TV. 😂

Really hard pass on this one. But the weird thing is, RCBC also called yesterday to offer a second credit card. Dude. My max threshold is 3. It should have only been 2. I can’t have more than that or I’d have trouble keeping my financial cognitive load intact.

Follow up to my Gaming is NOT GAMBLING post, since I’ve actually received multiple questions that asked what I think about gacha. Gacha does resemble gambling. But is it really exactly like gambling?

I will miss this game (Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis). I kinda like playing while talking about an important advocacy at the same time. Anyway, I really have a beef with the gambling industry. I wish people would stop conflating us with them.
