CNN has just confirmed that Jennifer Hudson will be among the celebrity guests performing at Michael Jackson’s Memorial on July 7.

The network has also reported that the event will be produced by Ken Ehrlich, who had previously produced the Grammy Awards.  The director of the memorial will be Kenny Ortega, who was set to co-direct Michael’s O2 shows in London this summer.  Security for the event will be paid for with Los Angeles taxpayer money, so fans without tickets are being urged to keep costs down by watching the event from home.

The L.A. County coroner removed Michael Jackson’s brain for testing last week, but according to sources, they were unable to run tests on it right away due to the fact that it had not yet hardened enough for slicing. For this reason, Michael’s family has chosen to have him buried without his brain.

The coroner will likely test Michael’s brain for drug use, alcohol abuse, and the presence of disease 2-3 weeks from now. After testing, the forensic neuropathologist will either burn the brain, or return it to the family to be buried into the existing grave.

According to a former coroner, it is a fairly common practice for families to chose to bury the body right away, and add the brain later.

Rupert Grint’s rep confirmed today that his client contracted a mild case of swine flu at some point last week.

The actor has been resting at home for the past few days, and is expected to be well enough to make an appearance on the red carpet for the Tuesday premiere of his latest film, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Courtney Love was reportedly busted for trashing a room at The Inn on Irving Place in NY with her daughter Frances Bean last month.

Sources say that on June 17, Courtney and Frances checked into the hotel for eight hours, and when they left the high-end establishment, staff found, among other things, dirty needles and used tampons all over the floor. The damage cost the hotel $5,000 to clean up.

Last month, Courtney blamed her recent destructive behavior on the stress of losing her late husband Kurt Cobain’s fortune to swindlers who stole her identity.

AEG Live has just announced ticketing details on the Michael Jackson memorial that is set to take place at the Staples Center in L.A. on July 7.

According to the promoter, 11,000 free tickets will be available for the show, and fans can register for the tickets at staplescenter.com.

Fans who register will be chosen at random to receive tickets. People who do not receive tickets will then put placed into a poll for a chance to receive one of 6,500 tickets to attend a simulcast of the service at the Nokia Theater next door.

People are urged to view the memorial from their homes, but L.A. city officials are now gearing up to accommodate a rush of tens of thousands of fans to the area.

Tobey Maguire and his wife Jennifer Meyer finally sent their rep out to release the name of his 2-month-old baby boy.

The rep confirmed today that the new spider baby has been dubbed Otis Tobias Maguire. The Maguires also have a daughter named Ruby Sweetheart.

Cops are looking into possibly investigating an NYC tattoo parlor that allegedly allowed Rihanna to ink little umbrella tattoos on three of its artists.

The shop owner of East Side Ink, Yadira admitted to putting Rihanna to work when she came in to visit her regular tattoo artist, Bang Bang earlier this week. Yadira told OK Magazine,

We were all just hanging out, joking, laughing. Bang Bang decided that he wanted a tattoo from her. We were all talking and laughing the whole time. Joking that she was a pro now… She was so sweet, easy-going, down to earth.

Rihanna then went on and tattooed two other artists who were impressed by her charm. She got through all three tattoos in under an hour.

The singer, who does not have a license, is now facing possible misdemeanor charges for the incident. The establishment is also looking at some fines from the NYC Health Department if investigators choose to pursue the case.

Some kid named Justin Ross Lee, who calls himself a “Facebook celebrity”, recently convinced Star Magazine to publish a story about his experience sitting next to Ashley Olsen on a flight from L.A. to NYC.

Justin, who was surprised to find himself seated next to the actress, told Star,

I introduced myself and played dumb by asking what she did for a living. She said, ‘I’m an actress’ — in a tone that implied, ‘Are you kidding me?’

According to Justin, Ashley refused the in-flight food, accepted the alcohol, and even did something crazy, and SLEPT during the cross-country flight. Justin took the picture above of Ashley catching some ZZZ’s as proof of his claim.

Kanye West, who enjoys working for free more than six starving college students combined, is rumored to have taken up an internship at the Gap.

According to sources, Kanye will stay with the company throughout the summer, learning the ins and outs of their business.

Before accepting the Gap gig, the big-headed rapper did a stint at Louis Vuitton where he designed some ridiculously expensive footwear that have yet to see the sales floor.

Katherine Jackson’s scheduled Monday custody hearing to discuss the permanent placement of her son Michael’s three kids, Prince, Paris and Blanket has been moved to July 13.

According to sources, both Katherine and the supposed biological mother of the two older kids, Debbie Rowe have asked the courts to move the hearing date.

Debbie expressed interest earlier today in fighting for custody of her kids and taking out a restraining order to keep Michael’s father Joe away from them. Katherine and Debbie have likely asked for the delay to discuss the possibility of a settlement. Katherine will care for the children until the new hearing date.

Octomom’s fame-hungry former publicist, Victor Munoz decided to jump in on the using-dead-Michael-Jackson-for-my-own-gain game yesterday, by claiming to the UK Daily Mirror that he received three phone calls from Michael Jackson a few months ago, offering to purchase his client’s octuplets.

According to Victor, Michael was looking for some playmates for his youngest son Blanket shortly after the birth of the octuplets. After hearing about the children’s mother Nadya Suleman’s financial struggles in the news, he decided to put in an offer for the little ones. Victor said that Michael told him over the phone,

Blanket would love to have more siblings. I could take care of all the babies, they could live with me and wouldn’t need for anything. They would have a bright future.

I want to take care of Nadya. She will be happy and won’t have to worry about caring for her children any more.

Victor told the Mirror,

When Michael called I thought it was a joke at first. I was getting hundreds of calls every day and many from celebrities’ agents saying their client wanted to help.

But when the person on the end of the line said ‘Hi it’s Michael Jackson’ I was a bit taken aback. Michael wanted to know how the babies were, how Nadya was coping.

He then said he could take care of the children if Nadya couldn’t. It was creepy. He was basically offering to buy the children. I was a bit shocked.

Victor claimed that he was 100% sure that the phone calls he received were not pranks because “I went on to Youtube to listen to Michael Jackson’s voice.”

Victor told the Mirror that he never informed Nadya of Michael’s offer because he knew she would say no. Victor quit working for Nadya last March after they stopped seeing eye-to-eye on issues concerning the octuplets.

Kevin Jonas is paying an awful lot of money to finally get the chance to see a real live vagina. Details are now in on the engagement ring that the biggest Jonas bought for his former hairdresser girlfriend, Danielle Deleasa.

According to Kevin, he personally designed the 3-carat platinum ring with the jewelers at Jacob & Co. Big Jonas also chose to have the giant cushion-cut rock surrounded by 210 round brilliant-cut pave diamonds. According to Kevin, Danielle did not even hesitate before saying yes - multiple times.

Gary Coleman’s very tall 23-year-old wife Shannon Price who makes money selling things on eBay, was arrested for domestic violence last night after she reportedly broke some of Gary’s possessions in an angry rage.

Gary walked away unharmed, and Shannon was booked for two misdemeanors and released on $1,205 bond.

The couple have had a tumultuous relationship, even appearing in divorce court to fight out their battles in front of the cameras last May (below).
