I think your analogy of the movie is right on. I truly believe that once enlightenment comes to you there is no going back. I really have never studied the Illuminati but after reading your article I have to admit you hit it on the dot. Most people are not enlightened so then they judge anyone who is. It is very simple the message has always been there but most people tend to take the long, hard road instead of instantly becoming enlightened to the truth . Most of us are like Jesus and his message was simply to tell us that we are all like him. He wasn't special he just knew that we could all have the same power he has.

I'm an animation nerd myself however I always felt that the current CGI films were like most things now a days which was ESFP target audience . Obvious humor and slapstick , perhaps just slightly dumb down , just like most mainstream entertainment now a days , it's squeezed into this cliché genre template . Where say the new Grinch movie that's coming out is more further away from the creative and philosophical works of Theodor Geisel and more into this model on it selling out on the idea of " All Things For Everyone " and competing at the box office which is typical of the entertainment industry. So that in a sense I can be quite nostalgic .
On one hand , perhaps the entertainment industry is smarter economic while for using demographic market research and thanks to the internet and everything , being able to zero down to everything that makes up the majority audience which equals the best chances of a box office hit. On the other hand , I see that in the past , art and entertainment used to be full of iNtuitives . In other words , celebrities in the past had creative talent but today you can have a pop star celebrity where perhaps all the creative talent is hidden in the background while you only see the pop star on stage . Kind of looks like it's all coming from this pop stars imagion even though if you were to separate them from all the glitz and glamor . In my opinion , that's how to pin point a true creative genius . It's like Walt Disney , he made cartoons in his garage or something and same goes with Mike Judge , Jim Henson , Trey Parker / Matt Stone , they started with making something themselves and later they got better by having a like minded mastermind group with them. However with a pop star who has only a singing voice ( unless it's controlled by computer technology like autotune ) , know what I mean ?

Anyway do you find there's hidden messages within the movie about the illuminati or is more on the level of how it could symbolize the mindset of the illuminati ? Like you were saying how Good vs Evil can be translated to Control vs Freedom . I think if it's zoomed in further in philosophical and psychological terms , it all comes down to " Fear vs Love " / Ego vs Soul . We all have that Fear and Ego parts within us , Fight or Flight . But it's like New Thought , it's called that because it's an alternative for what we normally think which is fight outside of ourselves. I like to think it's a bit of balance . But it starts spiritually from the inside out rather than the outside in . Some people fight for the sake of it , others would calmly bring awareness that they feel could help people. But at the end of the day , we can only inspire since everyone has free will. So that in a since I think of everything in balance. If things aren't as utopian as Heaven on Earth if it or it won't get to that point in someone's lifetime , enjoy and love what already exists . And of course there's Law of Attraction . I see spirituality as a collective , almost like the energy of a smile. Someone can energetically be attracted to such positive energy. I was reading this Buddhist monk quote that says something like " There's no destination to Happiness , Happiness is the destination . "

There's many factors when it comes to the psychology of illuminati . From what I can figure out as of now , it all goes down to the root of it. There's several theories but from the patterns and big picture they say the same thing. Like the dark triad theories , how it relates to sociopaths , psychopaths , narcissistic , anti-social personality disorders , etc . It can be routed in childhood . I did come across the theories regarding authoritative upbringing and how it relates to hierarchical power from this section of The Anarchist FAQ .

It may be related to the self determination theory .
But the point I want to make is that psychology always points out that everything starts from childhood as well as New Age / New Thought Spirituality when it comes to blocks , Paradigms , etc.

So relating to all of this. It's pretty much facing fears and learning about THE TRUTH . Someones parents could fear something possibly passed on from their parents , their parents , their parents parents etc. But it's up to the individual who wishes to see the truth or continue to fear something where there's absolutely no facts to back it up.

A great example is the run a way members of Westboro Baptist Church . Lauren Drain wrote a book about it called " Banished " and this was before Fred Phelps got kicked out of his own church for allowing his daughters to run the church and not the men , and thereafter Steve Drain becoming the head of it even though him and his family are the only non-Phelps family members there. And there was several stories of run a ways including Fred Phelps own son who became an LGBTQ ally and atheist spreading awareness of religious abuse . Unfortunately there's still younger members there who are still there.

I have no idea if it's related to personality type or what. In terms of if there's a certain group of personality types who have the ability to wake up and think outside meaningless tradition . But it is interesting to think about.

As for this movie , I haven't seen it but if it's as good as it sounds , perhaps I might check it out. Or get my friend to see it before me . I have a friend who's a DVD collector who also has a heart for family entertainment so.. Most family movies have a warm hearted message that makes the point that friendship can also be a family , even though they don't relate in birth family blood , it's like a like minded " Soul Family " . And that tends to be the most popular form of pop culture in character related animation entertainment and art which I'm a fan of myself. Perhaps that's what makes The Simpsons ( I prefer the classic seasons personally ) and even South Park admirable ( another favorite of mine ) . Sure there can be dysfunctional characters but we can see people we know as well as people of our social circle and even ourselves in a fictional character , and I strongly feel that's the whole magic of fiction. :)

Now a lot of people may not know this about me, but I'm pretty into ancient history and religious subjects. They're fascinating to me. I've read a lot of books about them, talked with many people about them and even run a site about the subject matter. So needless to say, when a movie like this comes around it's not hard to spot the beautiful motif unfolding in front of our eyes.

So a lot of movies these days have good stories where they talk about some truth or some type of personal problem and how to overcome it. Most movies will have a good message and in one way or another hit on being happy with yourself and overcoming hardship.

But this movie felt a bit different. It went deeper than that, and maybe it's because I was looking for it. The movie Smallfoot hit on one of the deepest themes throughout human history: religion and cultural beliefs. But it portrayed this subject matter beautifully.

The beauty of the movie was the way that it showed both sides of information and control. The movie hit on the very concept that I think is going on right now with many of the powerful people and organizations that run this world *cough* Vatican *cough* Royalty.

I've thought a lot about secret societies and some of the fraternal orders you may have heard about like the Illuminati. Mind you it's a very big subject and suffice to say there is a lot more to it than you may immediately think. Also, whether or not a secret society exists these days that goes by that name is irrelevant. When that term is used it is referring to the people at the top of society who pull the strings. We know this happens to varying degrees in varying forms and that many of these people are part of fraternal orders and do have certain rites and rituals which they do follow, for reasons they more fully understand than the average person.

The Battle Between Good and Evil

Most people will immediately call the Illuminati evil or bad because they control people and keep people dumbed down. Fair point. But there's more to it than this. If we really have this group of people who have been behind the scenes pulling the strings throughout history we have to think about why.

Throughout most of history people have been pretty stupid. And even when people have access to better information, as they currently do through the Internet, they choose to be entertained rather than informed. I have addressed this subject matter to great lengths in my work.

Most people will almost always take the easy path. Most people won't make original decisions of their own volition. Most people are followers. I'm not being mean, I'm being accurate. So now here comes the equation of the Illuminati.

These people in positions of power know this, and in many ways the reason they are in positions of power is because of their doing something about this. People of the Illuminati bend are many things, but stupid is not one of them. Nor is lazy. These people have the traits of more successful people. They don't complain. They don't sit around and point the finger. They take matters into their own hands and get to work. They study. They learn. And they execute. And this is light-years further than most people on this planet.

So now we are walking the delicate line of good and evil. Now we are walking that delicate line of control vs freedom. And this is the very real part of the Illuminati that the movie Smallfoot hits on so greatly.

You can't handle the truth

The Bible and almost all religious texts talk about how awake people are. They all talk about consciousness. And with this they talk about how much information people can handle. It's just like grade school. A high school student may be able to handle algebra with mathematics. But most first graders simply can not handle this. They haven't been "initiated" into that rite yet. They haven't "seen the light" in regards to algebra.

And it is the exact same dilemma when it comes to the Illuminati. That is what the very word means: illuminate. We are talking illumination, light. And light is illuminating and people who see the light are illuminated. And most people can't handle a lot of light when they're asleep. If somebody is sound asleep in their bed and you turn on the lights they will squint their eyes and try to avoid the light. This analogy holds true for everyday life with real information, with real enlightenment. As the Bible puts it:

"I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able."
1 Corinthians 3:2

"12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."

It's all right there for people who read.

Manly P. Hall says the same thing in the very first paragraph of the very first chapter of his amazing book, The Secret Teachings of All Ages:

"WHEN confronted with a problem involving the use of the reasoning faculties, individuals of strong intellect keep their poise, and seek to reach a solution by obtaining facts bearing upon the question. Those of immature mentality, on the other hand, when similarly confronted, are overwhelmed. While the former may be qualified to solve the riddle of their own destiny, the latter must be led like a flock of sheep and taught in simple language. They depend almost entirely upon the ministrations of the shepherd. The Apostle Paul said that these little ones must be fed with milk, but that meat is the food of strong men. The Secret Teachings of All Ages

This is the story of the Illuminati right here. This is the story of religion. This is the story of human evolution. This is consciousness unfolding in this world.

And this reality creates a hierarchy of people. You have these Illuminati people who are more enlightened than most people conglomerate together. And they ultimately end up in positions of power leading people. And when they lead people it invariably opens itself up to the polarity and dualistic nature of this world. When somebody in power does a positive action there is also a negative action to be seen. When somebody does a negative action there is also a positive action to be seen. Not everyone in power knows what's best. Not everyone in power wants what's best. People in power do do selfish acts. And there is good and bad in everything.

So when we have these "Stone Keepers", as the movie calls them, calling the shots on what's true and not true people either believe or disbelieve commensurate to their current level of consciousness. This is how it is in the world. Those people of less understanding unfortunately needs to be led like sheep, for the most part. And when they do wake up and realize that they are being led like sheep they revolt and complain. And those that can see a bit further and have developed their consciousness more can see through the low-level allegories and stories which are necessary for 1st graders, but unnecessary for high schoolers. They don't need the training wheels, and the training wheels hold them back. But to the 1st graders the training wheels propel them forward.

Are you seeing what I'm getting at?

I'm talking about a very deep and very real subject. It has been one of the most common subjects throughout human history. And that is why I appreciate the Smallfoot movie so much. It hits this subject matter beautifully.

The apex of the movie was without a doubt the song "Let It Lie". The whole movie can be summed up in this song. This is one of the best songs I have ever heard in my life, not just musically, but also lyrically. And I really don't care much for lyrics in songs. But this song hit the lyrics perfectly. While listening to this song I can imagine some head of some corporation or country being initiated into some fraternal order. Right here you are seeing the moment when the Illuminati gives the higher level information of what is really going on.

And Migo, the main protagonist of the movie, has a big moral dilemma to make. Do you lie to people and keep them happy, or do you tell them higher level information that will disrupt their comfortable little world and bring change to them?

And this is the question that we all face, and it's the question that people in power face. And everyone chooses to answer it and approach it differently. And that's the beauty of this movie. I don't think there is a correct way to answer it. It's not always a clean or white answer. It's not always as clear as giving people the truth. Because it's true, a lot of people can't handle the truth. And a lot of times people need to be led by allegories rather than real content.

When a child asks, "what happens when we die?" do you unload on them the back story of what human consciousness is and what really is going on on this planet, or do you lay it on them easy, so as not to overload and frighten them? It's a judgment call, and it's not a clear answer. And that's the movie Smallfoot.

For me once I got into Apple products , I never went back . I would multi-task like crazy on my Windows based laptops and PCs to the point where they would eventually burn out . I did have a fun experience dissecting my broken HP pavilion a few years back because the motherboard was oozing . Still it is fun to see the inside of those big computers . I used to know this friend of mine who would go around the Goodwin / Salvation army store looking for computer parts when I was in high school. It must be fun to build a computer from cratch.

Anyway , my twin flame prefers Androids over Apple because as she told me , it's better for programming and possibly for developing video games and stuff like that.

What is the best brand in your opinion that works best for creative productivity ? I vote Apple .

I'm not sure. I've never really been an Apple fan myself because of how closed their ecosystem is, but you can't deny they are very good at creating quality products. They understand how important the sexy aspect to their products is which is very important.

I use a Google Pixel XL and am very pleased with it. As far as large tech companies go, Google is by far my favorite. They are more open than Apple and I think further along when it comes to AI and this type of thing. I like a lot of things about their company and the way they do most things. I'm quite surprised the Pixel 3 phone is shaping up to be the way it is, however.

Apple would never release a product like this that looks unfinished. They would at least call it an "S" version and make it an intermediate release or something like that which is what it looks like they're doing with the iPhone Xs. This should be the Pixel 2s or something like that.

Anywho, at the end of the day I think most phones are so good these days it doesn't matter which one you use. I think iOS and Android are both very good operating systems and the hardware put out by most manufacturers is top notch. So it's all a win to me.

Mike: You're kind of wrong.

The notch sucks and I would never buy a phone w/ a notch BUT the pixel phones are a software showcase for Google, and since most phones in 2018 have notches, Google needed to develop their software to showcase the horrible notch idea which will surely be laughed at in a few months.

Don't blame google, blame Apple and the Android manufacturers for being gutless sheep.

Is this really the best you got?

I agree, based off what we've seen the Pixel 3 is not an improvement over the Pixel 2, not even with hardware. It's basically the same thing with a worse design. This isn't worthy of an upgrade. So what's the solution? Don't buy it. Let them realize that this is not an improvement and force them to actually innovate and push harder.

If I was running this team I would never have given this product the okay for release. But I would never have approved these decisions in the first place. Let me address a few obvious things:

Notch

Don't copy Apple and add a notch. The screen should look like this:

Do it like this n00bs. Oppo Find X gets it.

It's obvious. But wait, where is the front facing camera? It's on the mechanical platform that pops up when you go into selfie mode. This is 100% the way to do it and would be a great innovative, fun, technological way to do it that would put Google in the lead when it comes to futuristic design. This is the way to do it guys.

Useful? Check. Futuristic? Check. Badass? Check.

But how do you make face recognition work with the camera hidden? Figure it out. There is a way. Make it work somehow. Do something you guys used to be so good at: innovate. There is a way to make all this work without a notch and somebody is going to do it at some point. It might as well be you. Make it detect your hand and pop up. Make it squeeze to pop up. Maybe even give the user the option to keep it permanently open if they want or allow them to keep it closed if they use finger unlock. We'll meet you 1/2 way. Just give us an incentive to want to do so by adding something new.

The screen and look of the phone is pretty much the most important part of why people buy a phone, just like cars. Sure it needs all the basics like speed and camera and whatnot. But if you have all those, which you do Google, then make the phone sexy as hell, especially for the tech people that follow your brand for that reason. Don't make it look average. Make others have to copy you. You're being outclassed by your competition when it comes to appearance.

Bezels

Get rid of the bezels, even if you have to sacrifice speaker space. Most people don't care that much about speakers. If they really do they will just use headphones, external speakers or cast to TV. I mean cmon, it's a phone, not an entertainment system. Get your priorities right. It's not supposed to sound 100% perfect, it's supposed to look 100% perfect. Most phone speakers are perfectly fine. We don't need to try to perfect speakers on a device when the looks are a much higher priority. Sacrifice speakers for less bezels.

Dongle Headphones

Don't waste our money on a $30 pair of headphones that we don't need. We already have wireless Bluetooth headphones. We don't want cords anymore and we especially don't want corded headphones we will never use. Make the phone cheaper and remove BS like this from the box. Or at least give us a discount on the cordless version which is not included. It's really not that complicated guys.

I'm sure there are lots of other things that don't make sense, but cmon guys, it's really not that hard. Don't reward Google by buying this lackluster phone. Make them impress you. Make them blow you away like they did with the first Pixel. Then give them your money. Send a market signal for Google to go back to the drawing board and do their homework. Don't buy it.

If the Pixel 3 sucks (which so far it looks like it does) then they shouldn't be awarded with purchases. Send a basic market signal to Google by not buying the Pixel 3.

Transgender People Are Missing The Spiritual Component

Hey Quinton , thanks for putting a good word for us Trans people . It's nice to see. As a Twin Flame / Trans woman lesbian myself and ( maybe it's because I'm INFP , I don't know ) I too have seen my trans experience from a spiritual view point instead of a victim mentality . I am very fortunately in my lifetime to have meet two trans friends one a Trans Woman and the other a Trans man who like me are both into New Thought / New Age spirituality . Unfortunately my Trans woman friend took her life away in around 2012 / 2013 because she was surviving off of prostitution and some pimp wanted to hurt her. I don't know the full story however I do know that she was a spiritual soul , very intelligent , and I think both my friends were intuitives . :)

I'm not sure if most transgender people are missing spiritual insight or not , perhaps the majority of them and likewise most people. I do have my views about the importance of spiritual awakening as well as exposing the truth of what's going on if it's hierarchical power not thinking the best interests of humanity and planet earth or even The New World Order secret societies such as the illuminati / malevolent extraterrestrials .

I was just thinking yesterday that there are some that are so overwhelmed and confused when they look at gender. Screw the gender binary system and all those heteronormative norms and such because no one can place an A and B mold and say this is how men and women should be. There's non-binary gendered people who prefer the pronouns " they and them " . And I think , that's them . I used to identify as Androgyne 10 years ago , and in 2013 I realized that trans woman lesbian matched more with my identity and orientation and just made more sense to me . However gender expression wise , I tent to be quite androgynous then the stereotypical feminine role . My twin flame is a cisgender butch stud lesbian but she's all artsy fartsy , intuitive , and humanitarian similar to me. So the ying and the yang as complex as it seems makes a lot of sense within the parallel mirroring and stuff. I've been in telepathy with my twin flame for 11 years now and finally meet her face to face in late 2015 / early 2016 . We even look a little similar. :)
My trans man friend , he works as a psychic and he was helping me out finding my Twin Flame around 2015 .

But relating to your article , I totally agree that trans people need to tap into spirituality more .
My journey was quite gender fluid while others seem to perhaps suffer more than me .
For my experience , it was like this slow realization of putting puzzle pieces together.

There's this great youtube channel called ContraPoints , and she mentioned in one of her videos there's two kinds of transitioning. One in which is recognized in childhood while the other is more of a slow realization and often labeled as " Gender Dysphoria " .

My experience was pretty much smooth sailing which doesn't seem to be the majority of transitioning according to what I observe. Maybe it's because I'm an INFP but I can appreciate the abstractness of it because to me it's like a puzzle which took years to put together and perhaps it's a symbol of life itself because the puzzle never stops , we learn more and more about ourselves.

And having a Twin Flame , twins tend to mirror back everything that's going on inside of each other
and some things are pleasant , some are quite heavy but it's all about accepting oneself with love and to really zero in and figure out how that resonates with me. For example if there's something one twin finds irritating about the other , it could be an unloved aspect in which Ego builds this paradigm defense around it and so unconditional love releases that very wall resulting to a much healthier , freer soul. :)

A point I wanted to make is the whole thing regarding surgery . I personally am not up but have been on HRT since 2014 . Which points out that not every Trans Woman wants surgery because some feel comfortable with that lower half . Likewise I don't like wearing dresses and I tend to wear either plain masculine type clothes or something pop culture or colorfully retro . Somedays I wear make up , some days I don't . My trans woman friend would wear a big cowboy had and high neiled boots and dress like a rock star.
As I've learned in life , we just got to dress to express not to impress .

My voice is semi-high pitched already but when I were to go about self learned Voice therapy , my twin mocked me because I sounded too superfically feminine. And natually depending on my mood somedays I sound more feminine than others. I tend to have a problem of second guessing if I'm transitioning right but it's always best for people to just be themselves and just go with what feels right to them , not the eyes of the public. People are already way too busy worrying about what they seem to others to stop and criticize others. There's cool infographics relating to Ego vs Soul and that I think explains the very social problem.
Bob Proctor recommended a great book to me awhile back called

by Terry Cole-Whittaker .

New Thought / New Age spirituality most definately helped me with my personal growth and self esteam since 2012 after watching The Secret which lead to the rest of my transitioning and me eventually meeting my Twin Flame face to face. :) It helped me with my transitioning and life , perhaps other trans people too.

The best advice I got from my Trans woman friend was " You have two choices in life. Either you can live in the bondage of fear or you can go out that door with your head held high and ignore the critics because you know you more than anyone else. " Live your life happy and to thy self be true , pretty much.

I like to say for the most part that I'm a woman spirit in the male body instead of MTF . And your absolutely right about people questioning the physical aspects of trans people and everything . There's more to life than the five senses , that's just fact. I'm all open to life with the simple rule " As long as no one is hurting anyone , what the hey . Enjoy a happy life. Happiness really does show that even though we are all different , we are all one. :) )

Hi Quinton, I liked what you wrote. I've been having confusing sexual feelings and fantasies to do with being female and I'm male. I was a very hardcore believer in libertarianism i.e. having a low cost government to keep living costs low for businesses to operate competitively and for us to use a gold standard maybe, so our currency isn't devalued over time, creating bubbles etc. Anyway, I think I understand now that I was showing feminine traits all along, at least... now and again. It's just really hard because my dad for example was very abusive to me emotionally and extremely controlling. He would hurt me and my sisters because he could and he understood something I call "the power of power". For me, I felt like I didn't have any power and so I lived more by principles like "doing the right thing" and I always fought the deva like "because I can" way of being, partly because my dad said that being selfish is wrong - like the worst thing a person can be (ironic coming from him) and partly because I didn't want to be anything like him. The truth about my struggle now is that I have to embrace my own power I feel like but I never wanted to be a female. I loved females growing up from afar (I was a social outcast) but I didn't actually want to become one! But it's like you were saying, life is a spiritual journey but I just hate giving up control. It was a good reminder though that that's the case and also that consciousness is all that really matters. Thanks :)

The worker bees make up the majority of the population and are all females, but with undeveloped, or static reproductive systems. The worker-females are altruistic, for they take care of the queen at the expense of their ability to reproduce, and perform virtually all of the tasks necessary for the support of the hive. These worker-females have a short lifespan of approximately 30 days, and during this time will go through different developmental stages which dictates their role in the hive, as well as giving the hive its hierarchal character. Worker bees may be classified as housekeepers, which are responsible for the upkeep of the hive, or as foragers whose role is to collect the nectar, pollen, and water necessary to sustain life.

The primary cause of death for a worker bee is burnout. That is, their wing muscles only have a certain amount of flight, generally 800 kilometers, and when this point has been reached they are incapable of fulfilling their role and taking care of themselves.

The basis for the division of labor within the hive is the age of the worker. The worker begins its life taking care of the storage cells of the hive, then moves on to brood care and food storage, and ends its life as a forager. The adaptive significance of this labor schedule is that it extends the life of the worker by establishing a system whereby the young worker bees spend the majority of their lives inside the hive where they live in the protected environments of their colony. Once they become foragers, they are susceptible to predation, bad weather, and wing burnout.
Drones
The drones are the only males produced by the queen. Although few in number, they serve a singular, but important, role as mates for the queen. The lifespan of the male drone is very short, for after mating their abdomens explode which results in rapid death. Drones only serve as mates for the queen, and are not involved in feeding the colony, or the upkeep of the hive. Thus, if resources are scarce, worker bees do not like to keep the seemingly lazy males around and will often force them from the hive or kill them directly. Further, since the drones spend a great deal of time outside of the hive they are more susceptible to predation or death. All this results in an average drone lifespan of less than 25 days. The drones will often begin mating flights eight days after emerging, and within twelve days they may perform up to five mating flights per day.

Population Dynamics of the Hive
The caste system functions as an integrated feedback system of interdependent elements. The growth of the colony, and the rearing of brood depend on the reproductive state of the queen, that is, the number of eggs she is capable of laying each day, and the worker population that is responsible for tending to the larvae. The amount of brood that can be effectively reared is directly proportional to the number of worker bees, resulting in a cycle whereby the greater the number of workers, the more a population may grow (assuming an abundance of resources). However, the ability of the colony to obtain resources, and the reproductive state of the queen are strongly influenced by factors such as the queen's age, the photoperiod (amount of light in a day), mean daily temperature, and the availability of resources.

These factors may be used to emulate the feedback system of interdependent elements and allow ecologists to create a mathematical model which may predict the population of a hive given a specific set of conditions. The most important factors used are the initial population size, the queen's reproductive state, and the weather. Yet, more information is needed to determine the significance of these factors. One must also know the developmental rates of the worker bees through their life cycle, the lifespan of drones, rate of brood production, amount of sperm obtained by queen during mating, and the average worker age before becoming a forager. This information has been developed by entomologists and reported in the scientific literature.

"Free-Body Modeling"
The first task in creating a population model for honey bees is to take the interdependent factors and determine their relationship to one another. This can be accomplished by creating a concept-map, or flow chart, visually depicting how these factors relate to one another, this is called free-body modeling. To do this, one can write out the variables that govern the functioning of the system, then draw lines between them to show how they influence each other. Further, one may then write on the lines just how it is that the factors affect each other. This is an extremely important tool that allows the modeler a graphic visualization of how the model will work. Next, equations can be created to describe the behavior of each variable. Finally, these equations can be entered into a computer program to see if they accurately represent what is seen in the empirical data.

In the Hive
In creating a model representing a month in the hive, we must be able to predict the number of eggs that may be laid by the queen on any given day. This is accomplished by determining through many observations the maximum number of eggs that a queen may lay in a day, and how factors such as the queen's age (the number of days that a queen has been laying eggs), ambient temperature (in degrees celsius or Fahrenheit), the photoperiod (in hours), and the adult population size. The maximum number of eggs that a queen may lay in a day has been estimated to be as large as 3000 eggs per day. However, a more realistic value under average conditions may be 1500 eggs per day.

Egg Maturation
After determining the number of eggs laid per day one must then determine the proportion of eggs that develop into either workers or drones. This is in part established by the amount of sperm that the queen has left in her spermatheca, which is dependent upon the number of days that the queen has been laying eggs, for as the queen nears the end of her supply she predominantly fertilizes drones. The second factor in predicting the number of drones is the product of egg fertilization responses to photoperiod and the population size of the colony. As the population becomes very large, the queen may reduce her egg laying to prevent an unnecessary strain on available resources. Further, as the photoperiod decreases, the colony anticipates the advent of winter and signal the queen to reduce or stop egg laying so that the hive will achieve a population size that is sustainable through the winter months. Using these factors it has been determined that fertilized drone brood may comprise no greater than 5% of the total brood, with the remaining 95% designated as workers. The different eggs have different rates by which they develop into adults. Worker brood takes an average of 21 days to mature into adults, whereas the drone brood takes 24.
Temperature
Temperature plays a pivotal role in hive population dynamics. Honey bees will forage only when the average daily temperature exceeds 12 degrees celsius.
Photoperiod
The photoperiod plays an important role as noted above. It has a strong affect on the number of eggs that a queen may lay. It is believed that a decrease in the photoperiod sends a signal to the hive that winter is approaching. This is supported by the logic that as daily low temperatures fall below freezing, the amount of available resources, such as pollen and nectar, falls dramatically. The decrease in resources means that the hive may not continue to grow, and may even need to reduce its population to sustain itself through the winter.

Other Weather Factors
Honey bees will not forage if the wind velocity is greater than 34 km/hr, or if it is raining. The high winds prevent bees from being able to maneuver which may result in their being unable to return to the hive from foraging. Rain results in wet bees with the water increasing their weight to the extent that they can no longer support themselves in flight.

Weather conditions affect the size and functioning of the hive resulting in different population dynamics for different geographic regions. For example, in the midwest, photoperiod may range from 9.1 (December) to 15.25 (June) hours of light per day, with the temperature ranging from 0 to 31 degrees celsius. In contrast, the photoperiod in the southwest may range from 10 (December) to 14.5 (June) hours of light per day, with the temperature ranging from 0 to 39 degrees celsius. Under the midwestern conditions, the colony may be confined to the hive and will not produce brood from autumn to mid-winter, and nor will they forage from late October to late April. In contrast, colonies in the Southwest may produce brood and forage year round. From this information, it is easy to predict what times of the year will promote colony growth or decline.

A Month in the Hive
The information thus far presented can be used to predict how the population of a colony may change over the course of a month.
• The first consideration will be estimating the initial population.
• The next consideration is to determine the ratio of workers to drones. This depends primarily on the age of the queen and her egg laying capacity, as well as semen availability.
• Thirdly, one must determine the season. In the winter months the population will be low, whereas in mid-summer the population may be peaking. In spring and fall, heay winds and frequent rains can limit the forager bees opportunity to collect resources. Inherent in looking at the season is analyzing the interdependencies of the weather and photoperiod. Consequently, the weather is a strong contributor to the rate at which the queen lays eggs which in turn affects the number of worker bees. The number of worker bees affects the amount of foraging as well as the number of brood that may be reared.

• Lastly, one must know the developmental rates of the different castes of bees. For the number of worker bees able to forage is of extreme importance in determining whether the colony is able to feed itself. Further, the lifespan of worker bees is dependent upon the season in which they emerge - a worker that emerges in the autumn will live longer than one emerging in the late spring or summer. This is due to foraging activity, in the late spring and summer there will be more resources available than in the fall.

Virtue Signal Conclusions

Another Day on Planet Earth

We need to get back to basics, which people won't do. Why are we here? Where did we come from? And where are we going? I addressed these questions in my book Rule By Ignorance, because I think they are some of the most foundational and important questions out there. And even though many ask these questions at one time or another in their life, very few get to the bottom of them.

I have paved the groundwork for years on this blog and in my work with the understanding of a spiritual component to life. Many people believe in religions, but they don't take their religions far enough. Rather than see how their religion ties in with another religion, they will instead focus on the differences. As the great Manly P. Hall said:

For lack of interreligious understanding there has been very little religious understanding.

Religions all talk of a spiritual component. When it comes to the core of reality all religions are in agreement with some type of consciousness outside of this physical reality and some type of continuation of consciousness after these bodies we are living in die.

But with the advent of our so-called scientific world view we have shifted away from religion, or more broadly, spirituality. We have allowed for science to throw the baby out with the bath water when it comes to religion.

Look, I'm not a big fan of religion much myself. I can see the obvious contradictions found in texts, the obvious hypocrisy found in adherents and the obvious control and manipulation by the various religious organizations throughout the world. I get it.

But guess what? It's not all 100% bad. That doesn't mean everything about religion is wrong. That doesn't mean you throw the baby out with the bath water, as society continues to do as we march towards our next religion of science.

It's not the purpose of this article to go into the various truths or favorable aspects of religion. The purpose is to point out that not everything in religion is wrong. And the most important part that isn't wrong, in all of my research, is the continuation of our consciousness -- what we colloquially would call an afterlife. And if you want to add to that there is this element of reincarnation -- the concept that we go through many different experiences in many different ways to evolve our consciousness.

And when we approach life from a much broader perspective, as is the case with viewing this as a single life in an array of many life-like experiences, we can more easily see how things fit together. It's like anything else in life. The more information you have of something, and the higher perspective that you take, the more clear your understanding is going to be.

We don't expect somebody to do calculus with a 3rd grade understanding of math, but apparently we love telling people who they are with a 3rd grade understanding of humans.

The physical explanation of transgender people is elementary and damaging to not just society, but to transgender people themselves. I know transgender people. I know what they think. I know the confusion they have. I know the questions they have. And I know the BS answers society gives them that doesn't answer anything and only adds to the confusion.

You're not an accident

We don't accidentally or magically end up in the body that we currently have. This life isn't a mistake.

This life was a planned experience that we chose to experience for many different reasons, all unique to each consciousness.

I'm sorry if you don't agree with this, but somebody has to say it because I especially don't agree with the narrow view of some physical accident that explains nothing.

A spirit isn't male or female. A spirit is consciousness. And outside of this physical reality we aren't male or female. We are both. Male and female are physical constructs existing in a dualistic, phsycial world for the sake of unique experiences. And I'm not saying male and female are bad. I'm saying they are both beautiful experiences that we all may choose to go through as we expand our consciousness and experience life in the physical world.

We may choose to live many lives as both male and female. We may experience male energy for a long time to learn the qualities of a male. And then we may experience female energy for a while to learn and experience those qualities. It isn't binary. It isn't one or the other. We choose different realities for different experiences. And of course, there are degrees between all this. And degrees not just between male and female energies but between many other aspects as well. This stuff is layered and it's not so simple and definitive as male or female.

Bigger than your box

As humans we have a tendency to want to categorize everything into a box. But not everything can always fit into a box. At some point every categorization starts to break down. Not all heterosexual people are the same. Not all homosexual people are the same. And not all transgender people are the same.

People may choose to experience life one way for reasons that only they know -- or at least will come to know as they grow through the experience. It isn't as simple as saying, "Oh, this person is transgender, this means X". It doesn't work that way. Sure there may be patterns, but most people can't even get the pattern right. You can slice life in an infinite number of ways. One person may be transgender to learn one specific lesson while another person may be transgender to learn a totally different lesson.

But now when society comes in and attempts to give transgender people an explanation in the physical context only it is completely damaging. You want to help people by showing them love, not hurt them by restricting them through fear. You want to answer people's questions and help them grow, not create confusion and stunt their growth. The physical explanation of transgender people does not help them. The physical explanation of anybody does not help them, transgender or otherwise. Life is bigger than your tiny little one-life box of physical nothingness.

Another victimized minority, another political agenda

Unfortunately, transgender people are just the new political cannon fodder to use as a victimized minority to push a political agenda and increase control into the hands of the social engineers. Anybody who has studied history knows this. It's not complicated. But when you lack understanding and somebody tells you your whole life that you're a victim it becomes quite enticing to fall prey. Where have I seen this before?

There is nothing wrong with transgender people. Transgender people aren't confused. You're confused. Go back and read a book. Go back and talk to a Yogi. Go back and read what your religion is really saying, not the surface level, shallow interpretation you learned in Sunday School when you were 5 years old. Perhaps it's time we upgrade our resolution for how we view this topic. Nah, better just let somebody else do the thinking for us!

Transgender people know who they are. They're not stupid. Just because they don't fit into the box that you want them to doesn't make them wrong. Your box is wrong. And perhaps recognizing your box as wrong, overcoming this challenge and growing from it is the point to this whole thing anyway. Nah, couldn't be that.

Life allows for consciousness to experience this reality in any possible way imaginable. If somebody wants to gain experience by placing male energy in a female body then so be it. If somebody wants to go through life in hard mode let them. If somebody wants to do something that will shake their consciousness in a way that 100 straight lives would not do then let them.

Stop trying to explain transgender in a physical context. It doesn't fit and it makes you come across as extremely naive. Your scope is too small for reality to fit within your tiny little box. There is more to life than the thin band most of us choose to accept.

Okay let's get one thing straight: I come at this topic from somebody who has deep inside knowledge and experience with these people. I have lived with and studied this topic heavily from many different angles for many years. A Way To Save All The Banned Accounts on Social Media Sites Like Youtube and Twitter

There's two aspects of the internet which I can see which is social media ( no need to pay for Hosting / Domain names or need to register your social media page to Google or the other search engines , etc ) and then there's owning a website which one would have all that. However it really depends on how someone goes about having a website. Most people ( if using a builder or using software to design the website themselves ) would get hosting on their site. I think I mentioned this in a comment under your previous social media article but , what are your thoughts regarding self-hosting meaning no middle business and totally independent. I remember a friend of mine who introduced me to Cinemassacre ( Angry Video Game Nerd ) showed me videos on how James Rolfe runs his website's hosting out of his own basement. The idea sounds really cool but perhaps the most expensive option as well. Also the thing about Social Media and Google is it does seem like it took over the internet. It almost makes me wonder if people use Facebook to search stuff instead of Google. Now a days it really seems like if someone isn't on social media , they are ignored unless they established audience building before the social media trends unless of course they can establish audience building offline in a grassroots fashion or have the budget to advertise mainstream. So what would a freer internet be comparing to the pros and cons of current times ?

Free Speech Except This

Redundancy

I work in the IT industry. When a server goes down we have redundancy and a way to make it so that another server steps in to cover for the one that is down. When a server gets fried and stops working we have another one that steps in. And when we need to create new servers we quickly deploy them with scripts. We don't build each server configuration from scratch. We simply use the same configuration across many servers.

I think we need to view social media in a similar fashion. When an account gets banned that shouldn't be the end. That should just be the end of that account, but the brand continues on in a redundant fashion.

The main key to redundancy in social media is subscribers and content. That is the main piece that needs to be transferred to a new account. The same way we need to transfer programs and configuration with servers, we need to transfer subscribers and content with social media.

If when Infowars was taken down from Youtube and Infowars 2 popped up with the exact same subscribers we would hardly miss a beat. I don't know the exact rules on how it works with multiple accounts and if you can create a new account if you've been banned. I'm sure it may differ slightly from platform to platform. With that said, if a channel like Infowars is banned on Youtube that doesn't mean new content from Infowars is banned. It means that snapshot of what Infowars previously was at the time of the ban is banned.

We need some type of redundancy. And many Youtubers have already done this type of thing. Many Youtubers have multiple channels in the event that one is taken down. I think this is the type of approach we need to take.

Rather than try to get social media sites not to take accounts down, we should instead be finding a way to make it work knowing an account is going to be taken down. This is the new paradigm. It's not changing. So we need to find a way to work within it.

Subscribers & Content

So there are 2 main parts: subscribers and content. Both parts are very important. You need content to attract new subscribers and to bring in traffic, but you also need subscribers to have reach and to gauge your reach.

On some sites the permanence of content matters much more than on other sites. On Youtube content is huge. People search for your videos on Youtube, they come across them on Google, they're suggested them when watching other videos and so on. With Youtube the larger the archive of videos you have the better.

With Twitter and Facebook the content doesn't matter as much. People don't really search for old tweets or get tweets from search engines. With these platforms it's much more about what is current and what is coming in the future. This is where the subscriber base matters much more than the actual content equity developed previously.

So we have these 2 pieces that need to be made redundant: subscribers and content.

With subscribers there are different ways to go about this. The most obvious way would be to build some type of list of these users outside of the platform itself. Marketers have been doing this for years. That's why email lists exist. Online marketers build email lists that they control and then they market out from these. We need to create something like this in the social media world.

I'm not a big fan of centralized entities, but maybe to start out a centralized entity would be a viable option. Perhaps there could be some type of website that manages user lists for social media platform. Maybe a website could manage the status of all the accounts for a certain brand. We have places we go like the Bitbucket Status Page where we can quickly see that status of all channels of operation. We could have something similar to this for social media. We could have a status page for each brand and it could manage, via an open community, that status of these various accounts.

People could come through this site subscribe to various brands such as Infowars, Stefan Molyneux, Dave Rubin or what have you. This could almost be like a master user list. This could be the master subscriber base.

Of course the first thought is, well what's to stop this entity from banning a user? Nothing. But this site could be much more transparent in that it would allow users to download their entire subscriber list at any time. This site would be transparent and provide the tools needed for content providers to take their data with them. This would allow people to have their data outside of the platform. None of the social media sites do this. That's one of the largest problems.

You can't go to Youtube and download the usernames and emails of all your subscribers. In this platform you would have to be able to -- and whatever other useful, valuable things that could also be built. The purpose of social media sites is to lock you into their system, which I get. But we need a system that is built around transparent tools for content providers to become redundant with their brands, subscribers and hopefully content.

This takes care of the subscriber side of things. We still have the content side of things which is a whole other can of worms. For many platforms I don't think the content archive matters much. For Youtube I think the content archive matters a lot. This would be another thing to work around.

Why an alt-tech social site probably isn't the answer

Let me address the obvious thing. The big value of a site like Youtube is the huge userbase it has throughout the world. The value is entering Youtube and having access to all these people who don't already know about you finding out about you. The value is taking everyday people who don't even know about your ideas listening to your ideas. On newer niche video sites you don't have this and that's why it's so hard to make them work.

Sites usually start off niche. As they grow more mainstream they become less niche and need to cater to the majority. This is good and bad. It's good because you have a huge untapped user base, but it's bad because the majority can more easily shift the overton window of ideas. When you hit mainstream it is harder to piss less people off. And when you piss people off they are going to report you. And then the platform is going to have to side with the safe majority because they don't want to lose money to them. Why piss off the vast majority of people if you can satisfy them by simply removing one account?

So these large platforms have immense value and that is why having your content on them is important. Having redundant videos on 5 platforms that only you and your friends browse is pretty pointless. I mean, it's great for you to be able to get content to the people you want to, but it in no way penetrates into new groups or markets of people. It's simply speaking to the choir. This is the main reason people want to stay on larger platforms like Youtube.

And it's a challenge that will need to be explored more in order to solve it. Youtube banning isn't going away. It's only going to get worse. We don't want to simply backup content. That's easy. We can easily put videos on 10 other video platforms. But nobody is there. Nobody discovers our videos there. So how do we maintain that marketing piece that exists on large platforms like Youtube? Because that is really what hurts Youtube producers when their accounts are banned.

A call to action

I think we can at least work towards solving the subscriber problem. As to solving the content problem, well that's a bit more challenging. But we should work towards it and see what we can come up with. There's an answer to every problem. We just need to more accurately define and understand the problem.

I'm a software engineer. I could build something like this easily. I'm not exactly sure how all the details would work out, but that's where community involvement could help shape it. I think there is something to this idea. I think we need to think with the expectation that an account will be banned. I think we need to plan for the worst case scenario and then build some type of system to solve for that.

The answer isn't to plea the government or to plea these businesses. That won't work long term. The answer is to build an anti-fragile solution to this problem. We need to see what we do have power over, what we can do to alleviate these problems and then execute on that. We need to get together and come up with ideas on how to strategize around this.

As a free speech advocate it is a shame to see all the accounts being banned across social media platforms like Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Social media accounts are being banned one after another and there are no signs of this reversing. It's only going to get worse. So as such, we need to have a way to alleviate this.

Building Your Business On Somebody Else's Platform Is Dangerous

What are your thoughts regarding Net Neutrality and what’s happening with the FCC currently with Ajit Pai ?

I think people choose platforms over owning their own website for various reasons. Escaping the costs of domain and hosting ( I’m not sure if self-hosting is cheeper or has more pros then cons. Though I do like the whole independent idea of it though. Seems expensive however. ) , It’s similar to registering a new email because anyone could have as many as they want without needing to pay for it unlike a domain / hosting one , social media always tends to be on the top of search results so there would be no need to link the link to Google Adsense / Google Adwords ( unless it’s effective , I haven’t tried with social media so I don’t know ) , and since it’s social media - it’s most effective if people promote offline being well… social . Especially offline spreading word of mouth with business cards and such. Social Media It’s all over the place especially fast food paperbags . All they need is their company symbol and people already know what it is. I think everything went to social media mainly as a platform on the lines of “Tell your friends and family and help spread word of mouth”.
Though to me it does seem to be business wise more aimed toward anything relating to “Entertainment” if it’s media to junk food, fun stuff and memes.
Also it does seem to be targeted mostly toward young adults.
Although third party services are rough too . If people sold products on their own website , they’d get more percentage than they would using a third party which most of the time would never be a 50/50 fair split. It’s understandable if they are a “print on demand” service but still , not very good if someone is trying to earn a profit. Even though there’s no need to invest to use certain services , still…
Independent is the best way to go about it. Good ol’ Word of Mouth , Quality ( instead of quantity ) Content / Products and keywords is king.
But again it depends on what the entrepreneur wants to do and how they want to go about their business.

Have you ever thought of uploading videos to your website instead of the embedded youtube one ?
I've noticed how with social media , it's so easy for someone to troll and report say a video falsely to Google regarding guidelines and stuff. Kind of reminds me of what you said in one of your videos on how there would be videos and even twitter accounts that would get pulled for no reason expect companies fear of losing advertising revenue or something like that. Maybe it was the "Stupidity is profitable" video.
That's the thing that bugs me about the internet is not only that kind of hierarchy over freedom of speech.

By the way , what are your thoughts regarding domain and website hosting costs vs how social media is for free. There definitely is more freedom in what you can do within your own website vs social media . However as I probably mentioned in my previous comment , it would be nice if website self hosting was more simple. From what I've heard about , it sounds very complicated.

Some History

Back in the mid 2000's I was working heavily in the SEO aka Internet Marketing industry. During this time getting traffic from search engines was all the craze and was becoming a really big thing. If you could get your site ranked on Google for certain keywords you would get a TON of traffic and consequently make a lot of really good money. There were tons of opportunities at this time and many people were finding ways to take advantage of this free traffic and rank their websites on search engines.

So this whole SEO industry became really big and everyone wanted to be a part of it. Now this whole search engine industry created a shift in the way many people did business. What started out as businesses looking to supplement their Yellow Pages and other forms of marketing with search traffic soon transformed into these businesses building websites specifically around the parameters needed for getting traffic from search engines.

Let me say it another way.

With SEO people started to focus on building the marketing side of their business completely around search engines. Since at the time, and still today, Google dominated search traffic people would build websites specifically for Google and begin to rely specifically on Google for their marketing. Where before search engines people may have focused on their brand and relationships with people, after search engines people were focusing less on the brand and more on what Google wanted.

What ultimately happened is many people became dependent on Google. Rather than marketing through alternative channels many, many people became super focused on one channel: Google. And it makes sense of course. Google was giving way better ROI. You could spend a lot less on SEO and if you ranked on the first page for some decent search terms the sales would just pour in.

Google obviously provided and continues to provide a valuable service with their search engine. The problem is people would forfeit their other marketing channels and put all their eggs in one basket. Google was so effective that nobody would want to spend their money anywhere else.

But search rankings change. And Google doesn't always keep your website ranked high where traffic comes pouring in.

So what many of these people who relied completely on Google started to notice was that once Google started to make some changes to their algorithm their website would drop and they would lose all their traffic. So they would figure out what changes were made and then they would make those changes and work their way back up the rankings. And then more changes would happen. So they would make those changes, maybe build a few other websites and continue to grind keeping up with the latest Google algorithm changes. What people didn't completely realize was that their business was building completely on Google. They now depended on Google for traffic and they were now subservient to Google. If Google slapped their website and they lost traffic they were screwed. They had all their eggs in one basket.

Your Internets are belong to me

And this is what happened. And it got worse and worse as time went on. Google got smarter and smarter with ranking websites and it became harder and harder to use tricks to get your way to the top. This all reached a peak in 2011 when Google released the Panda and Penguin updates. At this point they had become really good at detecting spam websites whose sole purpose was to help rank websites without providing any real value. And once Google rolled out these algorithm updates many people who built their business on Google realized that they held very little power. At any time Google could take away the traffic you depended upon. And they did it to countless people and destroyed a large part of the SEO industry overnight.

From Decentralized to Centralized

The Internet started out as a network of many different computers sharing information. When people put websites up they are doing so in a decentralized way where other people don't control this website. But what ultimately has happened is people like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Reddit and others have come along and said, why go with the hassle of building a website and not just distribute your information through us?

We started out decentralized with websites owned by different people. Then for a brief period we had a time when RSS was a really big thing where people could subscribe to a feed for a website's content. RSS was a very interesting concept because it centralized and organized content in a still decentralized way where website owners still controlled their content.

But with the advent of video, social media sites and other things becoming more popular on the Internet things like RSS were replaced by Facebook and Twitter. Why use RSS if you can more easily have all your content and subscriptions managed in a way better UI, with way better features, with way better notifications, with way better communication, etc.? The centralized approach was just too good.

The technical nature of the Internet makes it hard to build a website that allows for many of the things people need. You can't really build a community like Facebook into your own decentralized business site. You can't easily build video uploads and distribution through your business site like you can with Youtube. Even with open source software it is still inferior to the polished service specific platforms built by experts like Youtube and Twitter. These guys got it dialed in. That's all they do.

So what has happened is we have shifted from a decentralized web to a centralized web. We have given up control over our information for convenience in getting it out there. Rather than building our own Youtubes or Instagrams, we instead just use them. And these are centralized businesses that control our information. We no longer own our information, they do. And I'm obviously not saying it's a bad thing. They provide a valuable service. That's why people use it. But it's worth noticing. It's worth understanding that we have shifted from running and owning our own web information to having others run and own our web information. We have given away control. And this is similar to what happened with Google and all the people doing SEO. One change on Google's part for whatever reason and your information is gone. They hold the cards, not you.

Social Media Demonetization and Ban Hammers

I bring this up because this obviously ties in with what is going on with Youtube demonetizing videos, Twitter and Facebook banning accounts and all the rest of it. Your Youtube channel isn't fully your property. Sure you control it somewhat and can upload videos and that kind of thing. But if they want to nuke your account they can. If they deem that you're hurting their business they will just shut you off.

And we have seen this with not just Youtube, but with all of them: Facebook, Twitter, etc.

So if you're in it for the long run it's important to have some type of strategy behind all of this. You shouldn't just only have a single Youtube channel and hope for the best. Sure get started and build and do that. But if you're getting some traction you need to learn how to spread out a bit and control your future. Don't give all your power away. Build an actual brand and business that can't be shut down by somebody else.

I really like how www.infowars.com has done this because they're smart enough to understand that they need to have their own brand outside of just Youtube. They use Youtube as a supplement to their brand, not as their brand. You need to use these channels to supplement your main entity that you control. You need to build your brand and your business instead of just your followers or your likes. People need to know about you and where to find you outside of just social media channels.

If your only online presence is a social media presence, then you are building your house on a very shaky foundation. At anytime it may be swept away.

Whether it be a Youtube channel, Facebook group, Twitter account or whatever else, when you build your business on another platform you are taking a risk.

I wonder if this relates to personality type in some way. Regarding shadow cognitive functions perhaps.
For example ES*P types seems to me to be types that could possibly struggle in a situation like this. I don't mean to stereotype , just a theory. For example ...
E : Looking outside for answers
S: Thinks with their five senses and feels if something can't be picked up by these senses they would immediately determine them to be fake
T: Struggles with emotions ( correct me if I'm wrong , I'm an INFP myself. Again don't mean to discriminate , just figuring out the theory. )
F: Could be very emotionally unstable and sensitive.
P: Just want to live life for the sake of it and whenever limits there is in their life , they can get pissed off if their freedom is blocked. And might not plain practically .
And due to the cognitive functions( but necessarly just ES*P types alone ) their outward expression and behavior would come out quite extreme in whatever negative mindset they are stuck in.

Basically these kinds of people feel trapped but they think they are trapped due to outside circumstances.
Perhaps due to hierarchical systems such as the Government , some may be true. However psychology 101 proves that such behavior must be clearly trapped internally. Which unfortunately could develop into mental illness.

Life never stays the same outwardly or inwardly , either energy is high vibrational or low vibrational. Increases or Decreases in polarity. It can create or disintegrate , etc.

I think people like this lack prosperity in their mind which manifests their outer reality. Addicts would num any thought or emotion that they are sensitive about like a happy drug and therefore they fight to protect it. The problem I see here is even though all people generally want to be happy , healthy and prosperous , there's many who don't know how or even much about themselves . Law of Attraction states that whatever we think about creates the emotion that manifests our reality regardless if we want it or not. And if something manifests that we don't like , there could be something unconscious there that needs to be healed regarding clearing the karma paradigm of unconscious fear perhaps relating to an event as far back as childhood which results to the individuals lack of self worth. Some struggle and are aware of this. Some are totally unconscious , probably have some sort of mental illness and need to seek psychological help.
Sometimes it may not even be related to their income. But their mindset. And there's many examples of this , especially the music industry such as the famous the coin of phrase "Sex, Drugs and Rock N Roll". Perhaps it started with the love of music but then fame went into the musician's Ego which they just went crazy and irresponsible then after.

There's some people who can be poor yet live a simple life studying and giving philosophical wisdom. There's creative people who started off poor but were focused on their idea which most people thought were crazy until an established person takes a look at it and believes in them because they can see that the creative person strongly believes in themselves and their idea. Some took action that was quite spontaneous until they were heard and they succeeded. It's all about the mindset.

All throughout the world people are at no shortage of pointing out everything that is wrong with the world. People will tell you how bad schools suck, how bad the environment is, how many poor people there are, how much wealth inequality there is and so on. But what they won't tell you is how to fix these problems -- or at least how to fix these problems without the failure of stealing money from one group and giving it to another.

Wealth isn't created through theft, wealth is created through innovation and increased productivity. When you steal a fish to feed somebody you haven't created wealth, you have simply transferred it. When you invent a way to catch more fish, like with a fishing pole or a net, you have increased productivity and created wealth.

Most people view a job from a very limited perspective. Most people view a job as a career or something that you exchange your time for every day for a wage. Your job isn't a thing that makes you money. Your job is you providing value for a task. A job is more fundamentally a task that needs to be accomplished. If you need to mow the lawn that is a job.

Different jobs have different payment schedules. Some jobs pay out every day. Some jobs pay out every month. And some jobs, the ones that are most needed, pay out when they are a success. As I've talked about before, the hard part about starting a business is that you don't know when and if it will make money. You're doing lots of work, but you don't know if it will ever pay off.

This is the gap that we must bridge.

Pretty much every job throughout the world started as a problem that needed to be solved. A business opportunity is an important problem that needs to be solved that has a chance of being solved. If we take a quick Google search we can easily find lots of problems in the world:

Look at some of the top problems:

Lack of economic opportunity and employment (12.1%)

Safety / security / wellbeing (14.1%)

Lack of education (15.9%)

Food and water security (18.2%)

Government accountability and transparency / corruption (22.7%)

Religious conflicts (23.9%)

Poverty (29.2%)

Inequality (income, discrimination) (30.8%)

Large scale conflict / wars (38.9%)

Climate change / destruction of nature (48.8%)

Almost anybody can create a job for themselves in one of these fields. Almost anybody can start chipping away at this. This is a job.

Some businesses you don't need money to start. If you do need money you can raise it if you have a good business idea. If you can't raise it do what most entrepreneurs do: save. Keep your day job and start chipping away at your business on the side.

Worried about climate change? Great, get some books on math and science and read about how the climate works, how energy works, how batteries work and get to work. See where the current threshold of understanding is in this field and then push it further. This requires no financial investment. You can read books for free at the library or online. If you really cared about this you would use your passion to drive you towards answers.

Worried about war? Great, so are 38.9% of millennials also. Find a way to work together to alleviate and mitigate this problem. Look for ways to make money solving this problem. Figure out what people would pay you to solve for them.

These are extreme, large-scale examples. Most examples are much more straightforward than this:

Like animals? Start an animal shelter.
Like money? Study finance and learn to invest.
Like exercise? Start a gym, come up with a new fitness program or train people on how to become fit.
Like video games? Create a video game. Build an esports team. Create a video game stats website.
Like drugs? Find a way to get involved with medical marijuana or push for more drugs to be legalized.
Like food? Well, you get the idea.

When you start at the problem rather then the job you create the job.

I repeat, if you start first looking for problems that need to be solved then you will end up at some point creating a job for yourself and possibly others.

I get that starting a business is not easy and that's why most people don't do it. But to say there aren't any jobs is a cop out. The problem isn't that there are too few jobs. The problem is that there are too few people willing to take on the challenges and problems of the world. That's the problem.

Headline:

We hear it all the time: there are no jobs and the economy sucks. I'm screwed. To say that there are too few jobs is to concede that we don't want to fix problems.

Entrepreneurs Work For Free

Throughout the last 15 years or so I have started so many businesses and tried so many different entrepreneurial endeavors that I've forgotten just what the price of doing so is.

Working for a paycheck and building a business are two entirely different things and two modes of thinking. When you are working for a paycheck you are exchanging time for money. When you work for a paycheck you aren't building any equity. Working for a paycheck is a short term approach and doesn't involve any deferral of gratification.

Conversely, when you work on building a business you aren't really exchanging time for money. You are really just exchanging time for experiments that may or may not pay off. You have no clue if what you're doing will ever make money. It's all just a shot in the dark. Sure, the more things you try and the more you experiment the smarter you get and the better chance you have of something working, but nothing is for sure and there are no guarantees.

So when you're building a business as an entrepreneur you are working for free.

You may be worth $100/hr if somebody hired you, but when you're working for yourself and with partners your hourly wage is now $0/hr. And of course, most people know this which is why most people don't start businesses and instead choose to remain as employees. It's not a bad thing by any means, it is simply a choice in time preference. There are pros and cons to both paths and you don't have to be one or the other.

I know I'm stating the obvious, but sometimes it's good to remind yourself of what is really going on. If you're going to be an entrepreneur and start a business it's probably a good idea to make sure you love what you're doing since you're going to be doing a lot of it for free. You are basically volunteering your time for free for a cause you believe in.

This is what I've done for most of my adult life and while it can have its rewards, it is also counter to the way many people think. Looking in from the outside I think a lot of people see a businessman making large sums of money and say that they are lucky or privileged or some other lacking description. What people don't realize are the decades of failures and free work that the entrepreneur was doing while the other person was making a steady paycheck.

People don't immediately view the unseen cause which created the seen effect of wealth and prosperity.

Sure, while some successful entrepreneurs may be born into wealth or get lucky or what have you, the vast majority got there through good old fashioned free labor. They spent their free time working for free while others spent their free time doing other things. I know this is most certainly the case for me as well as other entrepreneurs I know. It's not magic, it's just working for free for a long time until something hits.
