THE BEAUTY OF A RAILWAY TUNNEL - We find more than 10 raillway tunnels from Sri Lanka's highest railway station, Pattipola to next railway station Ohiya. This picture shows the train 'Udarata Menike' travelling through one of them. The entrance as well as the exit of the tunnel is there in the Photo. OIL LAMP ON ADAM'S PEAK - This oil lamp is a very special lamp which is on the top of the Adam's Peak (Sripaada) in Sri Lanka. In Sinhala it is called as "Dolos Mahe Pahana" which means the lamp lights forever. Because of the unbearable cold on top of the Adam's Peak, pilgrims use to light it everyday every hour with their oil to get heat.
