<p>If you’re about to get started on the P90X Beach Body program, it’s important that you come to understand the workout schedule that this program requires so that you’re all set to begin.</p>
<p>The P90X program has you doing a wide variety of different types of workouts and it’s going to be important that you do learn how to coordinate them properly with the rest of your plan.</p>
<p>Let’s go over the main points to note about the P90X workout schedule so that you can be sure you’re following this program properly.  This program is divided up into three different phases, so let’s go over each individually so you know what you should be doing each and every step of the way.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #1c4ec4;"><strong>Phase 1</strong></span></h3>
<p>The first portion of phase one is going to be carried out over the first three weeks.</p>
<p>Your workout schedule will be the following:</p>
<p><em>Day 1 – Chest &amp; Back, Ab Ripper X</em><br />
<em> Day 2 – Plyometrics</em><br />
<em> Day 3 – Shoulders &amp; Arms, Ab Ripper X </em><br />
<em> Day 4 – Yoga X </em><br />
<em> Day 5 – Legs &amp; Back, Ab Ripper X</em><br />
<em> Day 6 – Kenpo X</em><br />
<em> Day 7 – Rest of X Stretch</em></p>
<p>Then on week four, you’re going to take things a little easier as this week will primarily be devoted towards helping foster a full recovery.</p>
<p>Your workout schedule will look like the following:</p>
<p><em>Day 1 – Yoga X</em><br />
<em> Day 2 – Core Synergistics</em><br />
<em> Day 3 – Kenpo X</em><br />
<em> Day 4 – Stretch X</em><br />
<em> Day 5 – Core Synergistics</em><br />
<em> Day 6 – Yoga X</em><br />
<em> Day 7 – Rest or X Stretch</em></p>
<h3><span style="color: #1c4ec4;"><strong>Phase 2</strong></span></h3>
<p>Once phase one is completed, then it’ll be time to prepare yourself for phase 2.  Phase two will consist of the following for the fifth through seventh week.</p>
<p><em>Day 1 – Chest, Shoulders &amp; Triceps, Ab Ripper X</em><br />
<em> Day 2 – Plyometrics </em><br />
<em> Day 3 – Back &amp; Biceps, Ab Ripper X</em><br />
<em> Day 4 – Yoga X</em><br />
<em> Day 5 – Legs &amp; Back, Ab Ripper X</em><br />
<em> Day 6 – Kenpo X</em><br />
<em> Day 7 – Rest or Stretch</em></p>
<p>Once this week is completed, then you move back into a recovery week. For this week, repeat the same workout schedule as you did during week four.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #1c4ec4;"><strong>Phase 3</strong></span></h3>
<p>Finally, as you move into the third phase, you’re going to focus on really shocking your muscles and making sure that you see optimal progress.</p>
<p>Here is the schedule you’ll follow for weeks nine as well as week eleven. Note that in week ten and twelve, you’ll use a difference schedule which follows.</p>
<p><em>Day 1 – Chest &amp; Back, Ab Ripper X</em><br />
<em> Day 2 – Plyometrics</em><br />
<em> Day 3 – Shoulders &amp; Arms, Ab Ripper X</em><br />
<em> Day 4 – Yoga X</em><br />

<p>For week ten and twelve, this will be your workout schedule:</p>

Come up with a plan at the beginning that is easy to do and remember. Make the plan in such a way that you don&#8217;t have to review it every day. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Anyone who is interested in losing weight and making their body look good has probably heard about the P90X workout.  This program has been around for a few years now, and there are many people around the world who swear by its ability to help you lose weight and get your body back in shape.  While many workout programs become easier over time, this is simply not the case with the P90X workout program.  A P90X workout uses something called muscle confusion during the workout process.  This means that it doesn’t let the body get acclimated to the workout routine.  When your body is not fully prepared for the workout, it makes the exercise much better for your body.  You will be able to avoid hitting a plateau while working out, so you can finally lose those last few pounds you’ve been trying to knock off.  There are 12 different workout routines included in the P90X system, and all of them help complement each other in creating the best workout plan you can possible use.</p>
<p>The first workout routine is used to help tone the chest and back regions of the body.  Everyone should be familiar with the exercises in this P90X workout because it is just push-ups and pull-ups.  While you may think push-ups are easy, you will be getting a different look at them because you will be doing so many other exercises around the same time.  Push-ups are usually easy, but this is not the case when your body is not ready for them.</p>

<p>The Kenpo X routine is all about endurance.  This part of the P90X workout involves a lot of kicking and punching to help trim some fat off of the arms and legs.  This workout is also a great way to increase coordination.</p>
<p>Another important part of the P90X workout is the X Stretch.  A full-body stretch is important for a proper workout routine because it will help you prevent injury during all of your other workouts.</p>
<p>A lot of people look at the Core Synergistics part of the workout routine as the base of the whole thing.  This exercise works on your core to help give you the base strength needed for all of the other workouts.</p>
<p>Your shoulders, chest, and triceps will get a nice workout during a P90X workout because of the lifting done to help build both small and large muscles in the upper body.</p>
<p>The part of the routine targeted towards your back and biceps is one aspect of the workout that can be customized to fit your needs.  During the curls and pull-ups, you can alter the routine to help you either add on more muscle mass or just tone the body and keep the fat from covering up your hard work.</p>

<p>By sticking with lean meats, you are making sure that your body gets enough nutrients and vitamins to rebuild muscle and repair any damage that has been done to the body.  When you eat something fat and greasy, your body does not get everything it needs to survive.  Sure, your stomach may be full after that meal from McDonald’s, but your body is still craving the nutrients it usually gets when you eat.  This confuses the body and makes it think that it has not eaten when really you just shoved down a few Big Macs.  There are three main phases to the P90X lean diet plan, and the first step is all about cutting fat.  While the exercises definitely help in losing weight, it also would not be possible if you did not change your eating habits.  You need to be on a P90X lean diet when you are exercising so your body can build lean muscle instead of chunky fat.</p>

<p>While he looks much younger, Tony Horton is actually 52 years old.  It makes sense that someone of his age would come up with a system like P90X because he has had plenty of time to figure out what works and what doesn’t work.  Before he was the face of the P90X workout system, Tony Horton was the spokesperson for NordicTrack.  While working for the NordicTrack fitness empire, Tony Horton came up with many different exercise techniques that gained a lot of recognition by fitness buffs around the world.  The best evidence for his rise in popularity was his ASH fitness training center found in Santa Monica, California.  He was also featured in many magazines such as Men’s Fitness, LA Health, and People.  While Tony Horton was on television a lot when advertisements for P90X first began to air, these were actually not his first appearances on television.  Tony had many appearances on national television long before P90X took the fitness world by storm.</p>
