The Q150 Mosaic project has given Queenslanders the opportunity to speak - through visual art - about what they believe represents their past and their future in this historic 150th birthday year of Queensland. Their individual contributions have resulted in a legacy artwork, a 40sqm mosaic, that provides Queenslanders with a visual snapshot of quintessential Queensland. The combined artwork was curated by Sam Di Mauro and features 136 mosaic tiles from participating Queensland councils.

The State Library and Q150 have worked together to build a website that allows the user to view each tile online and read its unique story.
