Try to lenghten your comments and discussions without making it boring. Try to ad details, try to add information. Especially if you start a discussion, give background information!

3.Use comments to earn

As mentioned before, you do not earn from other user’s comments BUT if you respond back to the comments, you write and therefore you earn! Also, it is really nice to interact with the other users. Get to know them better, answer their questions, become friends. MyLot is a social website (that pays), so be social and have fun!

4.Hop into other boxes

If you answer to a discussion, MyLot even expects you to read the other comments before you write your own comment. Sadly, not many users do this. Many only give their 2 cents and leave. Maybe hoping to earn those 2 cents? ;-)

MyLot admins are pretty strict and delete everything that is a guideline violation. If a topic or comment is deleted, the earnings are also deducted from your account. This can happen within a few hours after starting a discussion but can also happen after days, weeks or months. And then it really hurts if you have put much effort into it.

7.Tag your discussions

Tags are keywords that link your discussion to others with similar keywords. Tags will bring you more commenters and you can comment back more. Commenting back earns you money.

8.Pictures

Add original pictures to your discussions. You can do so when you reach 500 activity points. Do not use material that you do not have the copyright of!

9.Refer friends

As long as you can apply a handful of the top onpage SEO strategies, you can get your web pages to rank and draw traffic.

Choose the Right Key Phrase for Onpage SEO
If you want a web page in one of the top ten search engine positions, you need to perform your SEO on a keyword or key phrase that does not have too much competition.
You don’t want to take on keywords that the big guys are throwing a lot of money at or ones that too many people are competing for. It’s not that you couldn’t get to page one for these keywords, but achieving, and maintaining, your ranking would be more difficult. First, you want to get to page one, then you want a good chance of staying there.

There is one method of analyzing key phrases that is not foolproof but may give you an edge. Choose keywords and key phrases that match the following criteria::

1. Find key phrases that get more than 1000 searches per month on Google. You can check this using the Google keyword tool.

2. Go to the Google search page and search on your key phrase with the word ‘allintitle:’ in front of it (remember to include the colon). So for the key phrase of ‘yoga poses’ you would use the following search command: allintitle: yoga poses.

3. When the search is entered, look at the top of the Google search screen to see how many pages are returned for that search. The number of pages must be less than 100,000.

Title Tags are one of, if not, the most important on-site SEO component. A webpage’s title tag is located at the top of your internet browser.

A webpage’s title tag tells the search engines, and the public, what they can expect to find on that page. Without proper title tags the odds of your page being ranked high for your industry’s keywords are extremely low.

What you want to do is place your keywords in the title tags of your site’s pages. Make sure that each page on your site has a unique title tag relating to the content on the page.

SEO Beginner Tip 2: Meta Data

Meta data is information that is hidden in the code of your site and that the search engines use to find out more information about each page on your site. This data, while not as important to search rankings as it once was, is still useful and should be added to each page of your website.

The first piece of meta information that you want to add to each page is called the “meta description.”

The meta description is literally a description of what can be found on the corresponding page.

Your meta description should not only describe what can be found on the page, but also include a call to action. Being ranked high in the search engines is good, but if people are not clicking on your link then it doesn’t matter how high you are ranked. You want to give people a good reason to visit your site.

Also, make sure that your meta description contains the keywords that you are optimizing that particular page for.

The next piece of meta information is your “meta keywords.” Meta keywords are not used by Google anymore in regards to how they rank your site. There is some indication that Bing and Yahoo! still use them, but the weight that they give them in their search algorithm is very low. We still suggest placing these keywords in the code of your site because things change so much with the three major search engines that it is better to be safe than sorry. We may wake up tomorrow to find out that meta keywords are now important again and having to go through all your website’s pages again to add them could take a lot of time. It’s better to add them now and not have to worry about it later.

Your meta keywords should contain all the keywords related to your SEO campaign and all industry keywords that are related to that particular page regardless if you are optimizing for them or not.

Internal linking is not only helpful for search engine rankings, but it also allows your visitors to find other pages on your site that may not be reachable through your main navigation or easily found. Internal linking can also pass along link juice from one page to another on your site, which can help with rankings.

You want to link the pages of your site together using anchor text links. An anchor text link is a link that uses a keyword instead of, for example, “click here.”

Best Ways to Promote ClickBank

Niche Websites/Blogs

There's no doubt that a niche website is the best place to promote Clickbank products because you can subtly recommend them within your content.

Email

Email marketing is also an effective way of promoting products. Be careful, though. You don't want to continually pitch products to your subscribers.
That's not a good strategy.

Just like with your website, you should aim to provide nothing but quality, and promote products on occasion.

Use your list to inform your audience of important site updates, special news and provide exclusive offers. Weave in relevant product links every so often.

Social Media

If you have a large following (especially if it's very niche), you can also make money promoting products via social media.

Just remember, you can turn your followers way off by being overly aggressive with affiliate links. However, a casual, relevant mention here and there is fine.

And you don't even need a website to promote Clickbank products. You can just promote the hoplink I showed you how to create above.

However, I've always found it to be more effective to mention products within articles rather than just promoting affiliate links by themselves.

So instead of just tweeting a link to a product you are promoting, tweet a link that provides a relevant how-to article that includes a link to the product in the copy. That's a much better strategy.

What About Article Marketing?

ClickBank recommends article marketing on their tips page, but I honestly don't think this is a very effective way of marketing today.

Not only has it lost much of its SEO value, but most people who go to article marketing sites are not looking for information, they're marketers looking to get traffic to their own articles.

I'm not saying there is absolutely no value in article marketing, because there may be some -- especially with very tight/defined niches. However, I believe it is an expiring marketing strategy.

Using Banners to Promote The Products

If the product you are promoting has banners you can use, there is usually a link to the affiliate program located at the bottom of the main sales page. This is where you can often find banners for your website.

For example, for my ebook, Niche Website Success, there is a link to the affiliate page at the bottom of the landing page. That's where I provide the code for affiliates to add banners/links into their sites.

Don't Promote Crap!

Because ClickBank has no screening process for the products people can sell, you can run into a lot of low-quality products that were thrown together.

It may be tempting to focus on the amount you will earn per sale, but don't put greed over quality because it will hurt your reputation.

I only promote products that I have personally purchased myself. While the commission amount is something I pay attention to, the actual quality of the product comes first.

Selling Your Own Digital Goods on ClickBank

Clickbank makes it incredibly easy to sell your own products. So if you've been thinking of creating an ebook, for example, you can use Clickbank as the vendor.

All you do is upload your product to your website, create your sales page and sign up to be a vendor. The cost is a one-time fee of $49 and they take 7% of every sale you make.

You can set your price and choose what percentage you want to offer for your affiliates. Once your product is live in the Clickbank marketplace, your affiliate links are automatically created for you.

eJunkie is another egoods marketplace that you also may want to consider. I believe Clickbank has the better overall affiliate system, but eJunkie lets you create discount codes and does not take any money per sale. However, they do charge $5/month. So eJunkie and Clickbank both have their pluses and minuses.

I create my ebook covers with Photoshop using a program called Cover Action Pro. However, if you don't have Photoshop, there's an easier and free way to create them using MyeCoverMaker.

Creating Sales Pages for Your eBook

If you're a WordPress user, there are some pretty cool plugins out there to help you create stylish landing pages to sell your product.

OptimizePress is a quite popular, and it was specifically designed to create sales pages and increase conversions. I've never used this plugin, but plan on trying it out for future projects.

CopyBlogger Media has a plugin called Premise. It allows you to create a landing page on your WordPress site, and you can customize it with email sign-up forms, order buttons and more.
