On her body image
Well, I think that we as females are like the most beautiful, gorgeous creatures on the world and I think that we’re gorgeous no matter what size that we are. In fact, I personally think that we are more beautiful when we are a bit thicker, bigger and more robust. I just think it’s gorgeous. Even seeing older sculptures from past centuries and you see the women very thick and very beautiful and I personally, think it’s really, really gorgeous. I’m grateful that I actually feel like that because I think that a lot of us feel as though we have to be some little, tiny size in order to be beautiful. It’s like, we’re beautiful not because of what size we are, we’re beautiful because of how your mind works and you’re beautiful because you have this gorgeous heart and that comes from way more than you fitting in some size two dress. And we’re beautiful because of all these things that come up and tumble out of us and that’s beautiful because I just always feel like I love being a woman. I really love it.

Then there’s the other side of being body consciousness, age consciousness, which I think is another one ridiculously pressed upon women, whereas men can become old, refined and gray and they are suddenly so handsome. But a woman becomes gray and she’s old and that’s so not true.

What I’ve noticed is that I find almost an obsession with older women because there’s like a confidence level there I really look forward to achieving.

On how her body has changed after she had her son
I think that it’s changed in so many ways. I was thinking about this the other day; we were just saying that your body does things that it would have never done before. It’s a miracle and incredible; bones and structures of your body move to new places! It’s like how?

Then I also breastfed; I don’t know if it’s a total myth but when you breast feed you kind of lose weight quicker.

On breastfeeding
I loved it. Well, there were a couple of things no one told you. I took this whole class too which I thought was really good because I think a lot of people think you’re just supposed to have this natural instinct that’s suppose to happen out of thin air. There’s a technique to learn and if you don’t know it, it’s not your fault. I was glad I did that because I felt kind of prepared a little bit. The whole engorgement thing, no one mentioned that part.

I remember I was in the bed and I couldn’t move because it hurts and there is no way around it. I delivered naturally and I kept asking myself, “What is wrong with you”? At a charity event in NYC Wednesday, Blue Ivy’s grandma Tina Knowles opened up to Us Weekly about the Knowles’ big weekend plans.

“[We're] all going to be together. We’re excited because it’s Beyonce’s first Mother’s Day.”

On their agenda?

“I’m hoping to cook! I want to cook,” the House of Dereon designer shared. “My traditional soul food and maybe gumbo. That’s my favorite dish!”

Knowles also spoke about her daughter’s breathtaking Met Gala appearance Monday night.

“She looked amazing,” Knowles told Us about the Grammy Winner’s lacy, Givenchy Haute Couture gown. “I think she looked absolutely amazing.”

During her quick walk on the Met Gala red carpet (the singer arrived after other A-listers had already headed inside), Beyonce, 30, stopped for a quick chat with Entertainment Tonight about her plans to give Blue a sibling or two.

“I definitely want to have more [kids],” the chanteuse revealed. “I don’t know how many. God knows. I don’t know yet.”

Added the star about her new life as a mom, “I feel like now I know the reason that I was born.”

Guilty Verdict for William Balfour

Maybe Jennifer Hudson can have some closure knowing that the sick man who murdered her mother, brother and nephew has been found guilty by a court of law.

William Balfour has been found guilty of first degree murder after three days of deliberations. In addition to the murder conviction, Balfour was also convicted of home invasion and burglary. According to prosecutors, the murders were motivated by an act of jealous rage after Julia Hudson received a balloon gift Balfour believed was from her new boyfriend. He is currently facing life in prison.

Beyonce Knowles finally addressed the rumors surrounding her giving birth to baby Blue Ivy Carter. Was she wearing a prosthetic baby bump did she use a surrogate….was she faking the whole thing? I just laugh at how people couldn’t wait for her to get pregnant, then when she did they said it was fake. Once you get the story you’ve been dying to write, ya gotta come up with the next big bombshell right?

The singer, 30, told People,

That was crazy. It wasn’t hurtful, it was just crazy. [I thought] ‘Where did they come up with this?’”

Being the class act she is, Bey brushed off the rumors, but her mom, Tina Knowles, had a bit more to say.

I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months. As a mother it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous.”

Kelly Rowland Gives Up X-Factor Job

Kelly’s people cited “global commitments,” “scheduling issues” and the show’s “increasing demands” as part of her decision. Read the statement below:

After much speculation, we can officially confirm today that Kelly Rowland has decided not to return as a judge again for this year’s UK X Factor. Global commitments coupled with the show’s increasing demands this year mean that, despite weeks of deliberation with the show, Kelly has not been able to agree a deal that fits into her autumn/winter schedule, so sadly cannot accept a place on the 2012 panel.

Kelly thoroughly enjoyed her role as a judge on the show, but felt that if there couldn’t be a workable solution to scheduling issues, so that she could effectively juggle her other commitments then she couldn’t wholeheartedly commit to the show this year. Kelly says, ‘I love the UK and being part of the show last year. Mentoring the girls was such an incredible experience I will never forget. I would like to thank Simon for the great opportunity and asking me to be a judge last season.’

The singer and his ex-wife showed up to Fulton County Court this morning — where a judge ordered the couple to try and hash out a temporary custody agreement in private mediation.

They’ve had all morning to work something out — but if they don’t come to terms soon … they’ll face the judge again this afternoon … when he’ll impose a temporary order, deciding how Usher and Tameka will split their time with their kids.

Beyonce has been named Worlds Most Beautiful Woman by People magazine.This is her ninth time making the list, but Beyonce told the mag in her first official post-baby interview that there’s no bigger accomplishment than her baby girl:

Tamera Mowry-Housley Expecting First Child

Ten months after her twin Tia welcomed her first child, Tamera Mowry-Housley is now expecting a baby of her own, the actress confirms exclusively to PEOPLE.

“Adam and I are excited about having a baby and the blessing that he or she will bring to our lives and to our family and friends,” Mowry-Housley, 33, reveals. “We can’t wait to meet this little miracle!”

The expectant mom and Housley, a National and International correspondent for FOX News, will welcome their first child in early November. “The first trimester was a little rough. I was extremely fatigued and had morning sickness — more like evening sickness,” says Mowry-Housley, who will star in FOX’s new pilot, Rebounding.

“Luckily, it has subsided in my second trimester. I feel great as of now — more like myself.”

The news comes as a bit of a surprise to fans. After tying the knot with Housley, 40, last May, the newlyweds made it clear that kids weren’t in their immediate future

Jennifer says she was injured badly during the attack. I don’t know about all that but Jennifer clearly states to everybody that she’s not a fighter and they all know that. So how is she the one everybody wants to fight? Jennifer attempted to handle the threats and violence by hiring an attorney. Remember Shaunie and Tami acted as if the legal letter from Jenn’s lawyer was a problem? The letter really said keep your damn hands to yourselves or deal with it legally. So just to be clear…..these fools want to fight, these grown adults may have the urge to hit Jennifer so they are refusing to be civilized, and keep their hands to themselves

The Barbz have gone mad. On Sunday (April 15), Nicki Minaj deactivated her Twitter account leaving millions of her fans and followers awaiting her comeback– but that may not happen. After getting into a Twitter tiff with some of her followers, Nicki pulled the plug on her account. “Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good f–king bye,” she wrote. before vanishing from the social networking site.

Minutes before, Nicki had vowed to get rid of the account after she blocked a fan site that she accused of posting leaked music. DJLaz1.com (part of the Complex Network) managed to capture some screen grabs.

The offending site, NickiDaily.com is also down, stripped of all of it’s content with only the word “closed” posted. Instead of their Barbie-related content, the site just plays the somber sounding “Dear Old Nicki” in a loop. The track which appeared on Minaj’s 2010 debut is rather appropriate. On it she raps to her former self: “And tell me that you coming back that you just took a break/Maybe I blamed you for everything, that was my mistake.�

Mary J Blige Speaks on Controversial Burger King Commercial

Mary J. Blige says she never signed off on the controversial fried chicken ad that she shot for Burger King — at least not the version that was blasted on the Internet.

In a statement, Mary J. tells TMZ, “I agreed to be a part of a fun and creative campaign that was supposed to feature a dream sequence. Unfortunately, that’s not what was happening in that clip.”

The spot — which Burger King has since yanked from its YouTube site — features Mary singing about a new crispy chicken wrap. The ad drew tons of criticism on Twitter for playing off a stereotype about African-Americans and chicken.

Mary also says, “I understand my fans being upset by what they saw. But, if you’re a Mary fan, you have to know I would never allow an unfinished spot like the one you saw to go out.”

Burger King confirms the ad was released prematurely … “before all of the licensing and final approvals were obtained.” The fast food giant also says, “We would like to apologize to Mary J. and all of her fans for airing an ad that was not final.”

Burger King says the final … approved version will be released soon.

An autopsy report was released giving more details to the circumstances surrounding Whitney Houston’s death.

The singer’s assistant left Houston to run an errand at Nieman Marcus. When the assistant returned to the singer’s room around 3:35 p.m. on Saturday Feb. 11, Houston was lying face down in the bathtub in approximately 13-inches of water, according to an autopsy report released Wednesday.

The singer was pulled out of the tub by her assistant and bodyguard. When police arrived on the scene, they found multiple bottles of prescription medication and some loose pills scattered around the room.

In the bathroom was an ashtray filled with multiple cigarette butts and “a small spoon with a white crystal like substance in it and a rolled up piece of white paper,” according to the report.

It was announced last month that Houston died of an accidental drowning heart disease and cocaine use. She also had marijuana, Xanax, Benadryl and other medication in her system.

“I collected remnants of a white powdery substance from out of a drawer and from the bottom of a mirror in the same drawer,” reads the report.
