Beyonce Killed It!

Beyonce rocked her Super Bowl performance. Silencing critics, she did that! Destiny’s Child also performed.

With smoke pouring out all around her, Bey stood, hand on hip and sang the opening lines of “Love on Top” a cappella while rising into the air on a hydraulic lift. Doing her fiercest runway strut in a black leather jumpsuit and black boots with thigh-high stockings, she busted into her 2003 solo hit ”Crazy in Love,” working the stage from side to side along with herbackup dancers. They all shook it in a line before Queen B ripped off her leather miniskirt to reveal an ever skimpier lacy skirt, wailing as her guitarist ripped off a solo, flames shooting from the top and bottom of her instrument.

A military boot stomp served as the intro to a tribal “Till The End of Time,” fueled a horn solo from a trio of players in her all-female band. Backed by a video screen that flashed multiple images of her gyrating figure, she then moved into a hip-rolling “Baby Boy.” Her dancers were doubled up on the screen that rose up behind them, as well as on the video screen on the stage, creating a mind-bending illusion of an army of Beyoncés.

And then the moment everyone knew was coming. Destiny’s Child mates Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, wearing similarly body-hugging leather catsuits, shot up out of the floor for a few scatty bars of “Bootylicious.” The trio didn’t linger, though, quickly segueing into “Independent Women” as the stage was engulfed in a ring of flames and they struck their best “Charlie’s Angels” pose.

The hits kept coming with a group run through the solo Beyoncé smash “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),” with all three busting out the iconic hand flip and fierce sideways march in perfect unison

Beyonce’s HBO documentary Life is But a Dream delves into her marriage to rapper Jay-Z and her private thoughts and feelings.

Lucky reporters got an advance copy of the film. And it was worth the wait. Seeing Beyonce, who normally never talks much about her marriage or what goes on behind the scenes, discussing her husband — priceless.

“It’s every woman’s dream to feel this way about someone,” Beyonce says about her husband during a vacation in Venice.

And yes, she shows her sonogram on screen. But Beyonce, so private about her marriage and her life in general, goes further. She shares footage of her trip to Paris with her nephew. She talks about wanting to “make love” to her husband. She explains why she decided to share her pregnancy news so visibly at the MTV awards.

Most notably: She opens up about her miscarriage two years ago, saying that one week she heard a heartbeat – and the next, nothing. And she talks about how devastating the loss was to her and how she retreated to the studio to deal with it.

Most movingly, she addresses stories that she used a surrogate to carry daughter Blue Ivy, now 1.

Cops Swarm Chris Browns House For Domestic Dispute

Cops raced to Chris Brown’s Hollywood Hills home Monday afternoon … after someone called 911 and reported a domestic incident involving a gun, but we’re told it was all a prank.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the caller claimed a mother and father were in a fight and the father went to another room in the house to get a gun. At that point the caller hung up, never mentioning it was Chris Brown’s house. When cops arrived there was no evidence of a gunman or for that matter any dispute. It’s unclear if Chris was home at the time. This is the latest in a string of swatting incidents involving celebs, the most recent being last Friday when someone falsely reported a man with a gun in the home of Kris and Bruce Jenner.

On a sidenote: What the hell is he doing to his hair. He’s really going down the wrong road. All this weed smoking and crazy hair stuff isn’t a good look.

Chris [Brown] wanted to do a female line for his men’s line ["Black Pyramid"]. So he asked me to take over and “The Kill” was gonna be a women’s only line but it’s actually unisex.[...]It’s been a few months. When I first started, I pretty much thought of the name. Then from there, we started making very basic sample t-shirts, hats, beanies and socks. That’s what a lot of people saw online and on Instagram. They saw certain people wearing it, so it created this really big buzz in our very first stages. We got a little bit ahead of ourselves and we wanted to do this really awesome launch on 12/12/12, but we kinda had to slow it down ‘cause things weren’t 100% completely done. That’s why we waited.

Weatherman, Al Roker opened up about an embarrassing side effect that can occur from having gastric bypass surgery. After undergoing the surgery in 2002 and losing over 100 pounds, Roker, 58, confessed in an interview with NBC’s Dr. Nancy Snyderman on Dateline Sunday that he pooped his pants at the White House.

“When you have a bypass and your bowel has been reconstructed, you think you’re pretty safe,” he explained. “I probably went off and ate something I wasn’t supposed to.”

As he was walking to the press room, Roker felt like he had to pass some gas. “Only a little something extra came out,” he admitted. “I pooped my pants. Not horribly, but enough that I knew.”

Frank Ocean Loses License After Speeding and Pot Citations

Grammy-nominated R&B singer Frank Ocean has temporarily lost his driver’s license and faces a marijuana possession charge after police say he was pulled over twice on the final days of the year in California’s Eastern Sierra Nevada for driving more than 90 mph in 65 mph zones. The Mono County Sheriff’s Department said officers first stopped Ocean’s black BMW on Dec. 30 as he was heading northbound on U.S. 395 near Keoughs, and cited him for speeding.

Ocean was pulled over again on New Year’s Eve at about 4:30 p.m. as he was heading southbound on U.S. 395 at about the same speed. The second time, sheriff’s spokeswoman Jennifer Hansen said a strong odor of marijuana wafted out as a deputy approached the vehicle. Hansen said the deputy found a small bag of marijuana on the 25-year-old Ocean, whose legal name is Christopher Edwin Breaux, and cited him for marijuana possession

A$AP Rocky real name Rakim Mayers — was arrested in July following a fight between the rapper and two amateur photogs, who had been filming Rocky while he was involved in an altercation with another person.
Now the guy who was being filmed has filed a lawsuit against Rocky, claiming he saw the rapper get high in the clothing store (using unspecified illegal drugs) … and Rocky unleashed a ferocious beatdown.

Kanye West announced his girlfriend of eight months, Kim Kardashian, is pregnant with the couple’s first child. ‘Ye revealed the news onstage during his Atlantic City show on Sunday night, stopping mid-set to ask the audience to “make some noise” for his “baby mama.” Kim is 12 weeks along.

So I heard that Kanye announced the pregnancy on a whim. Kim didn’t have a clue he was going to tell the whole audience their personal business. None the less, she was excited, crying tears of happiness and probably relieved they didn’t have to hide it anymore. As the person carrying the baby, you would think it’d be up to her when to reveal the baby news but they are both media driven and for Kanye at a concert, it was the closest thing he could get to Beyonce at the VMA’s. LOL!

For those who didn’t know, I had surgery on my hand after cutting myself in the kitchen trying to be a good host. I’ve been in the hospital overnight three times in my life, two of those times it was to give birth and the other was this damn cut on my hand. I cut through a nerve, tendon and a little muscle on my right hand and I’m right hand dominant. I was out of commission for months. But, I’m back in full effect for 2013!!! I hope that 2013 brings you everything good that 2012 didn’t. Wishing you, love, joy, wealth and success for the NEW YEAR! We back in this piece man!

On her body image
Well, I think that we as females are like the most beautiful, gorgeous creatures on the world and I think that we’re gorgeous no matter what size that we are. In fact, I personally think that we are more beautiful when we are a bit thicker, bigger and more robust. I just think it’s gorgeous. Even seeing older sculptures from past centuries and you see the women very thick and very beautiful and I personally, think it’s really, really gorgeous. I’m grateful that I actually feel like that because I think that a lot of us feel as though we have to be some little, tiny size in order to be beautiful. It’s like, we’re beautiful not because of what size we are, we’re beautiful because of how your mind works and you’re beautiful because you have this gorgeous heart and that comes from way more than you fitting in some size two dress. And we’re beautiful because of all these things that come up and tumble out of us and that’s beautiful because I just always feel like I love being a woman. I really love it.

Then there’s the other side of being body consciousness, age consciousness, which I think is another one ridiculously pressed upon women, whereas men can become old, refined and gray and they are suddenly so handsome. But a woman becomes gray and she’s old and that’s so not true.

What I’ve noticed is that I find almost an obsession with older women because there’s like a confidence level there I really look forward to achieving.

On how her body has changed after she had her son
I think that it’s changed in so many ways. I was thinking about this the other day; we were just saying that your body does things that it would have never done before. It’s a miracle and incredible; bones and structures of your body move to new places! It’s like how?

Then I also breastfed; I don’t know if it’s a total myth but when you breast feed you kind of lose weight quicker.

On breastfeeding
I loved it. Well, there were a couple of things no one told you. I took this whole class too which I thought was really good because I think a lot of people think you’re just supposed to have this natural instinct that’s suppose to happen out of thin air. There’s a technique to learn and if you don’t know it, it’s not your fault. I was glad I did that because I felt kind of prepared a little bit. The whole engorgement thing, no one mentioned that part.

I remember I was in the bed and I couldn’t move because it hurts and there is no way around it. I delivered naturally and I kept asking myself, “What is wrong with you”? On their agenda?

“I’m hoping to cook! I want to cook,” the House of Dereon designer shared. “My traditional soul food and maybe gumbo. That’s my favorite dish!”

Knowles also spoke about her daughter’s breathtaking Met Gala appearance Monday night.

“She looked amazing,” Knowles told Us about the Grammy Winner’s lacy, Givenchy Haute Couture gown. “I think she looked absolutely amazing.”

Guilty Verdict for William Balfour

Maybe Jennifer Hudson can have some closure knowing that the sick man who murdered her mother, brother and nephew has been found guilty by a court of law.

William Balfour has been found guilty of first degree murder after three days of deliberations. In addition to the murder conviction, Balfour was also convicted of home invasion and burglary. According to prosecutors, the murders were motivated by an act of jealous rage after Julia Hudson received a balloon gift Balfour believed was from her new boyfriend. He is currently facing life in prison.
