Everyone want to buy the best laptop we ever saw, but the prices are expensive ” yes the prices nowadays are lower but still expensive if we compare it with desktops”. It is the new mobile operating system by Nokia, so we will talk about Nokia belle OS inside this post. Do you have Nokia N8 ? if yes then try to upgrade your system ” you will find it became belle OS “. How to upgrade ?

The pros and cons :

Nokia belle has a modern look, you will know what i mean when you compare belle with Symbian, it became closer to android and IOS. Text replaced by icons, notification bar is a drag- down  in belle. Widgets are easy to add, remove or edit, but with 6 slides your phone will be great.

The applications ( messaging, browser, camera, calender and the dialer ) were redesigned, they improved the qwerty keypad to make it more convenient, better spaced out and easy to write. The notification bar gives you the chance to check your notifications ( msgs, missed calls and fb etc ). You will notice how big is the new designed dialer.
More RAM means more speed and this what Nokia did in belle, because symbian uses more memory Nokia designed belle to save the memory and use a few amount of the phone memory which means more speed. I gave you an example when i talked about symbian and belle ( Nokia N8 ), so now check your N8 after upgrading to belle and you will notice the change for the better, everything will run faster and the phone performance will change to the best after using belle ( apps, graphics or effects ). Something you will not make you happy when I talk about apps ( much apps will not work with belle even it was working fine with symbian ).
In Anna you could set a default view for messages, but not with belle ! because in belle it redesigned but the setting as default option isn’t available anymore. This isn’t the only bad thing in this part but the worse is the messages itself, you will find all messages together even it was sent or received ” inbox “.
The camera in belle has a bar, which you can’t hide it !

recently used tab isn’t available in belle and this require you to scroll down to find the contact that you want to send a message !
proximity sensor has a problem with belle not as anna os.
After upgrading you will lose the apps settings !
yes the system will take a backup, so the apps will be installed in the new system but you will lose the settings, you will need to configure WLAN, Nokia maps ..etc.

Most of us facing a fatal problem with our devices ” ipad, ipod, iphone “- guess what ?

yes it is .. the battery !

Do you have an apple product but the problem is that the battery is running out way too fast ?

The sun is the first thing that we must mention about the batteries or we can say the heat, and I don’t mean the fire because it is basic thing, but I mean the hot weather. Keeping your Idevice in suitable place will increase its lifetime, so you won’t pay apple some extra money to change your battery.

BTW: your hot car isn’t a cool place for your Idevice.

The screen brightness, keeping it in high mood will decrease the battery life. People want to keep their Idevice’s brightness maximized, but nowadays the new screen devices has a great brightness so no need to increase this feature which wast the battery. From Settings -> Brightness & Wallpaper set your brightness to be ” 30%-35% ” this will be Ok.

How to set the brightness

The next option is a famous between all Mobile phones users, You can ask any user about the battery and how he/she keep it working for longer time, The reply is autolock !

Just go to general then choose Auto-Lock, set it as low as you can. This will keep your screen locked while you don’t use your Idevice.

For Iphone/Ipad users, you can use The airplane mode when you don’t need the internet, but for Iphone users using this mode will prevent your phone calls, so use this option if you are busy or playing some games and you don’t want to receive more calls.

Your Iphone/Ipad will try to connect and searching about the network and this will wast your battery charge so better you use the airplane mode.

The 3G and Wi-Fi .. check what apple said about both.Under the normal usage Ipad will get ten hours of the battery life if Wi-Fi was enabled, but with 3G you will see the numbers change from 10 hours to 9 hours ( -10% ), so it is better to use Wi-Fi instead of 3G.

Wasting you battery in mail checking and calendars isn’t a good thing so if you have these options enabled I advice you to change it to manual by going to Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Fetch New Data ” set it as manually “.

This step looks lnk the previews one, If you don’t need the notifications from twitter or the other apps installed in your Idevice, so disable it by going to Settings -> Notifications this will save some battery power because this apps will not search for updates anymore.

Go to Settings -> General -> Sounds and check the system sounds you may reduce it, it will not save much battery power, but will save some. If you enjoy this sounds so leave it.
Disable Location Services ( Settings -> General )
Disable Bluetooth ( Settings -> General -> Bluetooth )
Disable Vibrate Feature : you will disable it only while you playing games ” some games uses Vibrate Feature”
Charging and Discharging The battery regularly is a good way to make the battery live longer, you should discharge “full” your battery and charge “full” it one time every 30 days, and don’t leave it without charging, If you did so please get it out of the Idevice to keep it working ” the battery ” after putting it in after that.
