Plot[edit]

A supermarket called Shopwell's is filled with anthropomorphic grocery items and the human shoppers are worshipped as gods who take groceries to the "Great Beyond" when they are purchased. Among the groceries in the store is a sausage named Frank, who has dreams of living with his hot dog bun girlfriend, Brenda, in the Great Beyond, where they can finally consummate their relationship. Frank lives in a package and looks forward to life in the Great Beyond.

After Frank and Brenda's packages are chosen to leave Shopwell's, a returned jar of Honey Mustard informs the disbelieving groceries that the Great Beyond is a lie. Honey Mustard calls on Frank to seek out a bottle of liquor named Firewater before committing suicide. This creates an accidental cart collision that causes several groceries, including Frank, to fall out.

Seeking to verify Honey Mustard's warning, Frank leads Brenda and a group of other groceries to the store's liquor aisle, pretending to take a shortcut to their proper aisles. There, he smokes marijuana and learns from Firewater that he and other non-perishable foods invented the story of the Great Beyond as a noble lie to assuage past foods' fears of being eaten by shoppers. Frank, vowing to reveal the truth to the groceries, is encouraged to travel beyond the store's freezer section to find proof.

Meanwhile, the rest of the purchased groceries are horrified to watch foods being cooked and eaten. A deformed sausage named Barry escapes and stumbles across a human drug addict, who becomes able to communicate with his groceries after he injects himself with bath salts. After sobering up, the drug addict attempts to toss Barry into a pot of boiling water but misses, leading to an accident that results in the drug addict's decapitation.

After Frank separates from his friends who disapprove of his skepticism of the Great Beyond, he discovers a cookbook behind the freezer section and reveals its contents to the rest of Shopwell's groceries. However, they choose not to believe him, lest they lose their sense of purpose. Barry returns to the store with the drug addict's severed head, revealing that the humans can be killed. The groceries are able to drug the humans shoppers using toothpicks laced with bath salts. The foods initially attempt to communicate with the shoppers, but their plan backfires and a store-wide battle ensues. Once all the shoppers are killed, all the foods in the store partake in a massive orgy in celebration.

Later, the groceries are informed by Firewater and Gum that they have discovered that they do not exist and are merely cartoon characters, manipulated by human animators and voiced by celebrities in another dimension, including Seth Rogen and Edward Norton. Gum reveals a portal that he made that will allow them to travel to this dimension and the foods decide to go there to meet their creators.

lights out

Plot[edit]

In a textile warehouse, worker Esther sees a silhouette of a figure when she turns the lights off, but sees nothing with the lights on. She warns owner Paul about the apparition, whom he ignores, and leaves. Paul is then chased and gruesomely killed by the figure.

Paul's stepdaughter, Rebecca, lives away from her mother Sophie and brother Martin. Sophie has a documented mental illness and depression that has resurfaced, talking to an imaginary friend. One night, Martin sees Sophie talking to a figure and is horrified, gaining insomnia. Rebecca takes Martin to her apartment to protect him, against their mother's wishes. That night, she awakens to find the figure, barely avoiding it's attack just as the building's neon sign turns on. The next morning, Rebecca finds "Diana" scrawled on the floor. She recalls Diana from her own childhood, the reason she left when her father seemingly abandoned them.

That night, Sophie has a movie night with Martin, but includes the figure, frightening him. She tells him a story about the figure, Diana, her friend when she was in an institution, who had an unusual condition that made her skin photosensitive. Martin sees Diana crouched above and turns on the light, escaping to Rebecca's before Diana can attack him.

Rebecca confronts Sophie about Diana but she denies the accusation. Later, she breaks in and sees files about Sophie and Diana, and that she was killed when exposed to a bright light for an experiment. Rebecca, her boyfriend Bret and Martin decide to stay overnight to protect her. Rebecca goes to her bedroom to reconcile; however, Sophie secretly passes her a note saying "I need help" before Diana tugs her back in. Rebecca realizes that she is being controlled and turns on all the lights in the house to keep her away.

Knowing their intentions, Diana baits Rebecca and Martin into the basement by shorting out the power. Bret is attacked but escapes and contacts the police. Rebecca realizes that using blacklight can allow them to see Diana and discovers scrawled writings along the wall, explaining how Diana won't let anyone "take" Sophie and that she killed Rebecca's father.

A pair of police officers arrive and free Rebecca and Martin but are killed by Diana. Rebecca sends Martin to Bret and goes back to rescue Sophie. Diana then attacks Rebecca violently, but Sophie confronts her with a gun, realizing she's Diana's tether to the world. She then commits suicide by shooting herself which makes Diana disappear. Distraught, Rebecca, Martin and Bret reconcile and vow to stay together.

Petes.Dragon.2016

Petes.Dragon.2016

Plot

In 1977, Pete, a five-year-old boy, is on a road trip with his parents when their car flips off the road trying to avoid a deer. Pete’s parents are killed instantly, but Pete survives and is chased into the forest by a pack of wolves, only to be rescued by a dragon with green fur, yellow eyes, and huge wings. Pete names the dragon "Elliot" after his favorite book about a puppy of the same name with its family, and takes to him as a father figure.

Six years later, Pete, now 11, spots a lumberjack crew chopping down trees near his home. Natalie, the daughter of the site foreman, spots and chases him. When Natalie accidentally falls from a tree, her screams attract her father, Jack, and his girlfriend, park ranger Grace Meacham. Pete tries to run away, but Gavin, Jack's brother, accidentally knocks him unconscious. After realizing that Pete has vanished, Elliot stumbles around looking for him and ends up knocking over a tree near the lumber camp, leading Gavin to organize a hunting party to find him. Meanwhile, Pete wakes up to find himself in a local hospital, which he escapes in an effort to return to the forest. Before the police can catch him, Grace finds Pete and convinces him to come live with her by promising to take him to the forest the next day.

Gavin and his men locate Elliot's treehouse, but when they try to search it, Elliot reveals himself and scares them away. He then follows them back to town in an effort to find Pete. When he does, however, and finds Pete settling in with Grace's family, he leaves. After receiving a drawing of Elliot from Pete, Grace takes it to her father, who claims to have discovered the same dragon as a young man. He advises her to trust Pete, and to find Elliot.

The next day, Pete, Grace, Natalie, and Mr. Meacham travel to the forest to meet Elliot. A group of hunters led by Gavin surprise Elliot and tranquilize him, locking him up in Jack's warehouse. Before the authorities can inspect Elliot, Pete and Natalie free him from his chains and escape on a lumber truck with Mr. Meacham.

Angered, Gavin sets up a roadblock at the bridge to stop them. A failed attempt by a still groggy Elliot to fly damages the truck's brakes, causing the truck to plow through the barricade and come to a stop at the other side. Confused and frightened, Elliot perches himself atop the bridge and starts breathing fire at the police. The bridge begins to collapse under the intense heat, causing Grace and Jack's truck to fall through. Gavin then ignores going after Elliot, and tries to save them before they fall to their deaths. Elliot tries to prop them up, but the bridge suddenly gives way and they all fall into the ravine. At the last second, Elliot emerges with Grace and Jack on his back. With a military helicopter approaching, Pete decides to flee with Elliot back to the woods.

Pete pleads with Elliot to stay with him so he can protect him from his attackers. However, Elliot concludes that as long as they stay close together, Pete will always be in danger. He points out Pete's book to try and convince him to go back to Grace and Jack. After a tearful hug, Elliot returns to the mountains, while Pete goes to live with Grace and Jack as his new family.

In the years that follow, Grace and Jack marry and adopt Pete as their son, Gavin moves on from the experience, and Elliot slowly fades from the town's memory. Nevertheless, Pete and his family find him while on vacation, having found that Elliot has finally reunited with his fellow dragons.

Suicide Squad is a 2016 American superhero film[4] based on the DC Comics antihero teamof the same name. It is the third installment in the DC Extended Universe. The film is written and directed by David Ayer and stars anensemble cast featuring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood and Cara Delevingne. In Suicide Squad, a secret government agency led byAmanda Waller recruits imprisonedsupervillains to execute dangerous black opsmissions and save the world from a powerful threat, in exchange for leaner sentences. By February 2009, a Suicide Squad film was in development at Warner Bros. Pictures. Ayer signed on to write and direct in September 2014, and by October, the casting process had begun. Principal photography began on April 13, 2015, in Toronto, Ontario, with additional filming in Chicago, Illinois, and ended in August that year.

Suicide Squad premiered in New York City on August 1, 2016 and was released in the United States on August 5, 2016, in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D. Following a strong debut that set new box office records, the film has grossed over $745 million worldwide, making it the eighth-highest-grossing film of 2016. It received generally negative reviews from critics, who found the plot muddled, the directing choppy and the characters thinly-written, though Margot Robbie's performance was praised.
