Sorry, can’t help those struggling schools much less think about bailing out the people who live in hurricane or flooding areas. I received a gift – a plane – you know how I love to fly to places that have golf courses. Best ones are mine of course. Then I can charge the government for the accommodations needed for secret service.  That plane will soon be mine but first the government has to refurbish it so it will be acceptable. Only about one BILLION dollars. What else is money for?

Sorry,  there’s just no reason to keep those sex offenders in prison. Everyone knows what they look like, just stay away from them. That woman knew I was nowhere near any of the nastiness. She would have told. I know there is evidence that she lied under oath but, this time she would tell the truth. I was nowhere near that stuff.  And those others who accuse her? They were just children, bad memories, making things up. You know how kids are. Give a 16-year-old a job in a spa and they want more. 

Sorry, I can’t support the wind and solar energy projects. They are all hoaxes. It’s oil and gas and coal we need. That environment stuff is all a hoax. I’ve had numerous top CEOs of oil companies tell me that.  They wouldn’t support my agendas if there were a real threat to the environment. It gets hot every summer, nothing new there. 

Sorry, I can’t be expected to okay payments to all those grants. Some other congress made those commitments, not the sycophants I have there now.  I have to get some more gold leaf to apply to the few uncovered surfaces in my office. I need more money for makeup – can’t get enough to apply all the way to my ears and hairline. Might even ask my second to lend me some eyeliner. 

Sorry, I am too busy to look into the tactics employed by ICE. I told them to get the violent criminals. It’s like golf courses you might have to experience (aka arrest) a number of suspects (waiters, service personnel, farm workers, tax-payers) to find the nasty ones. Might have to play a lot of courses trying to find an  acceptable golf course. Mine are – of course – the best. That’s why I am too busy for ICE. Have to keep up my game 30% of my time is not excessive. Need to keep those caddies busy, need to have them drop everything (including golf balls) to accompany me.

Tariffs  

       We just need to produce the things we usually import, then there would be no tariff. (Ok, Senator. Does that mean that you are willing to cultivate banana  farms? I know that climate change is bringing more heat but can we really grow our own bananas? Other tropical fruits? How are you going to  acquire components required for many products but which are not available here? ) 

       Bring back manufacturing. Screwing tiny screws into electronic devices. (Is that your hope for increased employment?)

         I didn’t know that was on the bill before I voted for it. I didn’t read that part. If that’s part of it when it comes by my vote will be NO. (Multiple responses similar to this one came from those brilliant Repubs in the House. Wow, maybe there should be a reading test for officials. And, listening to the dialog in televised hearings, maybe a basic English grammar exam is  warranted.  PS: If you believe the vote will be NO, I have a magnificent bridge I’d like to sell to you.)

Health related:

         There should be a work requirement for Medicaid. People just need to do something, prove that you matter. (Prove you are worthy before you are eligible for medical help?)

         Everybody dies. (So, healthcare is irrelevant?)

Foreign Policy related:

          “Sometimes you see two young children fighting like crazy,”  “You’re better off letting them fight for a while and then pulling them apart.” Quote from Mr. Orange Felon.  (Pot/Kettle??? Only this statement is an attempt to downplay war.  This is related to WAR? Maybe it’s more accurate as a description of two narcissistic billionaires name-calling, threatening, whining, exhibiting authentic 5th grade behaviors.)

Immigration:

      You need to increase weekly apprehension by large numbers.  (Sorry, what happened to the plan to deport violent criminals? Are the ones reporting in to the courts and immigration offices as they are required to do the violent murderers, criminals?  That seems to be the place where many are being ‘apprehended’.  Let’s see, if I want apples I’ll go to where there are apple trees. Or, are the school children brought here 10, 15 years ago as babies and young children the violent criminals we should fear? )

        (If there is concern about felons running loose in this country one could look at the Orange Felon in the oval office. If it’s violent offenders there are the hundreds of January 6 violent felons he pardoned. I believe the OF has more felony convictions than all of those from a planeload of deportees combined. )

American Culture and Education:

     The head of the Library of Congress needs to be fired. There is acquisition of books dangerous to children. (Maybe the hair-flipping blond would benefit from learning about the business of the LOC which is NOT a lending library. It is designed to provide materials for members of congress. Imagine opening your email to find a message stating you are fired effectively immediately. Takes a gutless wonder to fire someone that way. No reasons, no explanation, no complaints on file, just YOU’RE FIRED. Hmmm, sound familiar?)

Snipe: I think about it some times but like watching old movies in the comfort of my easy chair. 

Snip: That’s what I do when weather is bad and I don’t want to go out. Saw one the other night, felt like I needed some laughs.

Snipe: What did you watch?

Snip: It was called “Dumb and Dumber”.

Snipe: Are you sure that wasn’t a government report? There are so many examples of that in the current administration, they could make a sequel with these new characters. 

Snip:  I guess you have examples.

Snipe: Some things I’ve seen and wish I hadn’t, some I’ve read about.

Snip: Okay, just give me a list. 

Snipe: The Barbie not knowing the definition of habeas corpus. The Lawyer spouting possible investigations cuz the boss didn’t like what ‘THE BOSS’ was saying. The Czar of deportation spouting numbers and looking back instead of looking forward. Remember the promise to deport murderers and violent criminals? That seems to have been set aside. Guess that was just too difficult so now targets are mothers, young people brought here as children, students, immigrants reporting as required to update status, etc.  What a joke. 

Snip: You seemed to have wandered away from a list.

Snipe: You are right. So back to the hair-swirling, broken-record press secretary – spouting the company line incessantly. STOP saying ‘the American People’ did this or want that or support x,y,z. I am one of the American People and along with hundreds of  thousands of others, I do not condone the lawlessness nor the  flagrant acts of illegal and immoral behavior. Let’s remind our employees (senators and representatives) that they swore to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, not a felon who lied his way into office.  And, as their employers we demand they do what they swore to do. Act on behalf of constituents and conduct the oversight they are mandated to do in a fair and equitable fashion. Sorry if that offends the orange felon who doesn’t seem to believe in fair and equitable treatment.

Irony at the max – officials vowing to deport criminals –  do they know they report to a convicted felon? There’s the head of HHS saying not to take his advice. At least I agree with him on that. So we are to trust his judgement in running a department dedicated to the health and service of we humans but not take his advice. Hmmm. Now he wants to replicate studies that have been made. Does he not know replication is already a part of a legitimate study?  Another  department looking back instead of forward. And the DOD dud spouting about removing press due to security concerns. Wasn’t he the one sending classified information to random friends, relatives, press? 

Snip: Well, at least that car guy seems to have faded from the picture. 

Snipe: But the damage he caused still hangs on. Important functions and departments closed down or reduced to inadequacy.

Snip: Any others on the list?

Snipe: Well, there is always the TACO, orange, sex-offender felon. Have you ever listened to one of his speeches? Have you ever spotted a full sentence? Comes close when he is reading teleprompter but then strays off into blaming. Every bad thing was done by everyone who proceeded him in office, or who supported DEI, or didn’t buy into his failed casinos or failed ‘university’ or purchased his blasphemous bible or his ugly shoes or China made baseball cap. If, if, if…..  Then, the image of his spouting a campaign speech to the graduates of West Point while wearing a red baseball cap shows such disrespect to the graduates and the institution. Listen to it, a tired repetition of all he has spouted before, that’s all it was. The only addition seemed to be a warning about taking a trophy wife.  He should know. 

Snip: Anyone else on your list? 

Snipe: How about the lemming republicans bowing and scraping to gain favor, hoping to keep their money-making opportunities in DC. Look at the bills they pass. Canceling and reducing programs such as food for school children and for the poor? Curtailing scientific research into disease?  Handcuffing FEMA rather than helping citizens affected by natural disasters? Oversight into programs and activities which affect the public injured or destroyed. The lemmings seem to agree with the grifter-in-charge, let’s spend that money on something else – like retrofitting an old plane Q couldn’t even sell. The hundreds of thousands of dollars, one estimate over a billion, to bring it to necessary standards along with the amount of time required make this a joke. Money that could be used to feed hungry children or help support the people on Medicaid, or continue to strengthen education and investigation all going to satisfy an over-inflated ego.  This results in both the gift-ers, (Qatar) and the lemmings (Maga Rs) can gain points with the grift-ee, the orange narcissist. 

Snip: Wow, kinda wound up aren’t you?

Snipe: When I see violent felons released from prisons and pardoned because they were loyal to another convicted felon all the while listening to the rhetoric about following the rule of law I get upset.  When tax fraudsters are being released without paying restitution I wonder why congress sits on their collective – chairs. When I find laws broken and court rooms filling with lawsuits with, by and about the administration I wonder whatever happened to sanity. Is this kind of country really worth the tax cut you are promised. By the way, don’t expect much if anything unless you are part of the upper echelon of earners. Even if you do get a boost, will it be enough to cover the increased costs of goods being tariffed out of reach? 

Snip: I suppose the saddest part lies with the devotees who listen to and believe every orange word spoken. 

Snipe: Indeed, the Big Lie of 2020 is now followed by the Big Beautiful Bill of 2025 -the bill is so filled with mis- and dis-information it stands as yet another BIG LIE.  OMG – slipping into all caps like the TACO. 

Snip: What do you see as solutions?

Snipe:  We all need to scream louder to our elected officials. We need to get some new blood into the congress and stop voting straight party line and/or single issue. We are supposed to be the power of the country, we need to exert that power to stop the destruction of our country. Otherwise, future generations will be living with a debt that cannot be paid in a country which has lost it’s promised dream.

• Lack of information – statements should be backed by evidence
• Decimation of existing programs designed to support citizens – e.g. food assistance, medical assistance including the promises made to 9/11 First Responders
• Upholding RULE OF LAW
• Deport violent criminals? YES.  When accompanied by evidence of violent criminal behavior as proposed

SNIPE: I’ll take no credit for that. Seems I’m not the only one noticing stupidity in motion. And on that topic, I would like to see an up-to-date report of the market buying and selling of representatives and senate members, and every cabinet secretary and their staffs. Anyone want to provide that? Lots of 401(k) losses. Lots of money-grubbing government people making a killing. Should not be legal.

Snipe: What are you talking about? Beef is livestock! The market problem is a wild fluctuation of investment tanking world wide because some orange felon decided to play golf.
Snip: Oh, I guess I don’t really know much about the market. I thought it was a grocery store.

Snipe: Even so, you probably have more understanding than the nitwits opining. The felon’s sycophants say it’s the best thing ever and the opposition says it’s disaster.

Snip: There is just so much mis- and dis- information floating around. I’m having trouble focusing.  I was going to go to town and someone said there is trouble at the town hall. The town hall, the markets. What’s going on?

Snipe: Some elected officials are afraid to go to town hall meetings. They say the opposing party members fill the venues in order to attack them.

Snip: I thought those meetings were to let citizens ask questions and get opinions.

Snipe:  True. The party officials and some pundits say that the meetings have been taken over by radicals to cause trouble. Personally I don’t believe that the opposition would spend the time and effort to meet with a person already known to ignore their questions and concerns.  And even if they did, are they not entitled to be heard by the elected officials as much as the party loyalists?

Snip: Seems more likely that supporters would attend.

Snipe: Exactly. So, some talking-heads and the party officials tell the elected officials to stay away from town halls. That simply verifies the fact that they really  don’t want to  hear from anyone with a question or a different point of view. 

Snip:  Then there are other things I’ve been hearing. Security secrets out through careless use of cellphones, Vitamin A overdoses in Texas in the measles fight, legal residents being kidnapped and sent to other countries, thousands of people being fired for no verifiable reason, grant money aimed at poverty and disease being canceled and, one I’m really worried about – the loss of social security and Medicare – programs I’ve paid for during all my working life.

Snipe:  Many  of those issues tend to strain the rules of legality.

Snip: Why are they permitted?

Snipe:  The courts are tied up in hundreds of cases due to the massive drop of Executive Orders and their possible illegality. So, the felon is trying to also take control of courts, of media, of law firms and more. 

Snip:  He seems to have time for fun and fund raising. Who’s minding the business. Where do all these written orders come from?

Snipe: Probably from boot-lickers. It’s been shown that organizing a full sentence is difficult for him so I feel confident that he has nothing to do with writing orders. Probably something like, “Hey, peon, write something that says I can make Europe pay more for corn.” And thus is born a tariff  bill. 

Snip:  I believe in fiscal responsibility. I believe criminal immigrants should be ousted. I believe that some jobs are probably superfluous. I believe there is waste and fraud in many sectors of government and society. 

Snipe: I’m with you all the way. But, I also believe that facts should be verified before just dumping people, jobs, grants, etc.  One article I read justifying  action without proof used the phrase, “It has been reported…”  My question, who reported it? What evidence was cited? 

Snip:  Well, I’m still wondering about going to the market for some beef. Should I?

Snipe:  I’ve heard from two different opinions. One says to buy now – before prices really jump due to tariffs. the other says – hold off on purchases because prices will come down. I imagine your own ideas are just as good as anyone’s.  Back to the old phrase, Keep Calm and Carry On.  Oh, and write your elected officials even if you didn’t vote for them. You pay their salary, and their secure retirement I might add. They are answerable to you. 

     First: 25% Tariffs on all goods from Canada and Mexico are going into effect at Midnight.
     Then: Some products are exempt for a month. Then, we’ll see. Or maybe more. Or not. 

     First: We want to arrange a peace deal.
     Then: We’ve disinvited one participant in the deal and stopped negotiating.

     First: I will lower prices on groceries on day one.
     Then: Lowering prices is hard. 

     First: There will be no more unelected bureaucrats running things.
     Then: May I introduce the head of DOGE, an unelected bureaucrat.

     First: We will immediately deport millions of illegal criminals.
     Then: Oops – some of these detainees are citizens, others are let go since we have no way to house them.

     First: We will be saving billions of dollars.
     Then: We will be using the billions and saving the tax cuts for billionaires.

     First: We will cut myriads of jobs from the IRS to save money.
     Then: The IRS can no longer run programs to detect tax cheaters. 

     First: Immigration should be controlled.
     Then: Any (white?) immigrant with $5 million dollars to spend can come on in as a citizen.

Snipe: And of course there is more. I’d like to know the real cost of thousands of deportations, of lawsuits levied as a result of some of the felon’s Executive Orders.
Snip: What can we do?
Snipe: We used to go to town hall meetings with our elected officials but now they are afraid we might criticize them so they won’t attend any more town halls. We could write to them but chances they will never see or hear about any of the letters, emails, phone notes. They remain too protected by ‘appropriate staff’ who read the notes.
Snip: I was writing to my senators the other day and found the addresses of five different offices.
Snipe: Maybe some should be closed. That is one way to cut wasteful spending in the government.
Snip: Should I just copy my letter and send it to every office? Would that make it more likely to be read?
Snipe: I doubt it. But if you want to try, let me know how that turns out.
Snip: I believe there is spending that could be cut, don’t you?
Snipe: Undoubtedly. But it should be done thoughtfully. If I wanted to reduce the amount of clothes in my closet, I don’t just grab a bunch and pitch them. I’d probably end up with 4 pair of slacks and no shirts to go with them. If it’s time to clean out the cabinets I don’t simply hire post-teens and say, “Have at it. The more you pitch the more you’ll be paid.” By the way, I hear that some of those now pitching for DOGE are making more than the employees pitched. Guess we just keep trying to do what we can do to smooth things out. Write, call, text. Let them know your thoughts. After all, they are our employees. Maybe we should be the ones doing the firing.

Snip: Well, because then I don’t have to deal with crazy drivers. But mostly I like to listen to conversations by other passengers.

Snipe:  You? Eavesdropping?

Snip:  It’s not eavesdropping. It’s just overhearing and learning things that really are none of your business. Like that doggie guy does.

Snipe:  Oh you mean the guy in charge of doge who really isn’t in charge. I know that doesn’t make much sense but that’s the way the orange felon describes the existing nonexistent government position. 

Snip: Well, I heard that the lines at the unemployment offices were blocks long, mostly filled with former government workers. I wondered why that was and someone said people were fired because they couldn’t count to five or couldn’t name five good things about the doggie guy or the orange guy or something like that.

Snipe: Actually they were just supposed to name five important tasks they had accomplished last week.

Snip:  Oh, now I understand the conversation I overheard. Want to hear?

Snipe: Sure, what was said?

     Muskovite: I just fired the neighbor’s housekeeper.
     Other: Why?
     Muskovite She couldn’t name five things she accomplished last week.
     Other: Could she name any?
     Muskovite: Yes. She was able to list four:

1) Cleaning the house – that of course includes dusting, mopping, vacuuming, changing linens and washing windows;

2) Doing the laundry – that’s clothing from all family members, linens and kitchen towels and cleaning cloths. It consists of gathering,                                                        washing, drying, ironing, folding and putting away all items;

                                            3) Gardening – including sweeping and hosing down patio, sidewalks, driveway, weeding flower beds and grassy areas and mowing when                                                 needed. 

                                           4) Completing weekly shopping and prepping 7 days of meals including dessert and storying in proper freezer                                                        containers.                                            
     Other: And?
     Muskovite: She couldn’t name a fifth category so I fired her.
     Other: Who’s going to complete those things now?
     Muskovite: Well, I understand all meals had been prepared for the week so the neighbor will have plenty of time to figure that out.              Meanwhile, she’s saving money.
     Other: What do suppose she’ll do with all those savings?
     Muskovite: Might have to use them to hire a house cleaner, a laundry person, a gardener, a personal shopper and a cook.
     Other: Hmmm.  Why are you in charge of the neighbor’s household?
     Muskovite: I’m not officially in charge but have sort of appointed myself as the ‘non-official official in charge’ a change agent for ego strokes and media                    exposure. 
     Other: Wow, Guess with enough hutzpah a person can do almost anything.
     Muskovite: Yes, it only requires paying $$$$ and faux homage to the orange felon.

Snip:  Hearing that conversation made me realize that a job title doesn’t tell the whole story. Some one should tell the doggie man.

Snipe:  He doesn’t listen to anyone. Can’t wait to hear about your next bus ride. 

SNIPE: Oh, you mean the Dump Constitution Administration?

SNIP: Well, if you want to call it that.

SNIPE: That is what seems to be going on. Unelected idiots moving in and pushing out anyone who doesn’t agree with the billionaire state of mind.

SNIP: There is waste in government spending.

SNIPE: I agree. Might even be some fraud. But it’s the Baby/Bathwater cliche – you don’t empty the place when you haven’t identified specific aspects of waste. I would venture to say that a lot of the contracts being awarded are the result more of moneyed influence than of best practices.

SNIP: You believe money is the mover?

SNIPE: Elections and positions are purchased, partly due to the inane SC decision of several years ago stating in essence, Corporations are People. This allowed enormous amounts of corporate money flowing into campaigns and ultimately elections.

SNIP: Got any ideas about what to do?

SNIPE: I am considering running for office. 

SNIP:  Really? Could you get elected?

SNIPE: Well, I have some of the qualifications and can certainly fulfill at least one that I don’t have.

SNIPE: For example?

SNIPE: Well, 1) While I’m not rich, if I get in I can get rich. I can write books, give speeches, make profitable, knowledgeable stock trades – that one seems to be the leader.   2) I’m old, already got that one nailed. 3) I’m white, look inside the capitol offices, that’s evident. 4) I’m (oops) female. There are some in office so it’s not impossible but being younger, maybe blond, and pretty would certainly help get endorsements.

SNIP: That all sounds so cynical.

SNIPE: Your point?

SNIP: I guess I just wish that the elected officials would live up to the oath of office they took. I once had the belief that government really was by the people and for the people. Now too many seem to be saying “You put me here so I can do whatever the hell I want.” And, when laws and conventions are blatantly ignored, no one seems to have the courage to step up.        

SNIPE: Or wait until it’s too late. Case in point, that guy from KY could have used more courage before deciding to retire. From his refusal to hold hearings in 2012 to his nay vote in impeachment hearings, he is the prime example of 1) SELF and 2) PARTY.  Those things are not laudable for elected official loyalty.

SNIP: We can contact senators and reps.                                   

SNIPE: You think they see anything you write to them? Really? Try it. You will receive a form letter stating something like, “We received your comments and will forward it to the appropriate staff member for consideration.”  I think the next time I write I’ll just address it to THE APPROPRIATE STAFF MEMBER IN CHARGE OF XYZ

SNIP: Just one last thing, I had heard that you were going to retire this communication. What changed your mind?

SNIPE: Guess I just can’t be silent when I see what is happening. Food taken from those who need it, dismantling of programs which recognize that not all of the populace is rich. Intrusive governmental involvement by sycophants often unqualified, un-informed, unelected and uninterested in fulfilling their sworn loyalty to the Constitution of the United States.  Oh, and by the way, I heard that the next name change on the horizon is changing the State of Florida to the State of Orange.
