Welcome to Clear and Simple's Collection 3 Release in Review. This May/June release has been so much fun! Today we are showcasing shapes and backgrounds! Here is my card for today...

I used CSS's new Imprint plate for that flowery background. This unique shape is a new one from Labels 11. The label frame and sentiments are from the new Au Naturel Extras set.And those fun flowers are from Flower Buds. I just stamped them in a solid color and added in a little Copic detail.

Knock knock...is this thing on? It's been awhile! Hope you are still here hanging out with me! :) It's that time of year again...the pool...ball games...keeping kiddos entertained. And yes...I have already heard the words "I'm bored" and its only been one week out of school. Do they still make Calgon?

Ok so bring on the bling! Now isn't that a fun challenge? You know I love me some bling! That is what this weeks CAS-ual Friday challenge is all about! Here is my card...

I added some stickles to the center of the flower and then some black pearls for a little added bling! Now go make something blingy and link it up! :)

I just have to say right off here, that I love this RetroSketch challenge! I have so much fun every week coming up with a card to share! And then I can't wait to see what everyone else creates throughout the week! This week's sketch is no exception! The original card is a GORGEOUS card from Jackie! Seriously gorgeous! You can check it out HERE. So here is my card for this week...

I was trying to do the whole pattern paper thing again here...layering several different patterns together. I found a couple of flower that matched the card base perfectly! I was pretty excited. I used a Paper Smooches sentiment and some black pearls to finish it off!

PTI May Blog Hop

It's crazy town around here but I am so excited to be stopping in with a card! Yesterday was the last day of school and my back has been telling me who's boss this week so there has been not much sitting! Just a lot of ice and laying around. SO, I sat with no pain (yay!!) and whipped this up today for the PTI Blog Hop...

I used Simply Chartreuse for the green in the inspiration picture and then a little Amuse Gingham paper. I added a Sizzix flourish and some black pearls for a little extra bling! And in the background...a little Linen IP, of course!

Dropping in with a new card for this weeks CAS-ual Fridays challenge. I know my blog has been quieter than usual but its a crazy house around here! Today is Thursday, as I am typing this up, and its the last day of school...thank goodness! So here is my card for this week...

I used the new Alphabet dies from CAS to cut these letters. The paper is from a fun new pack from Gina K called...non other than...Casual Fridays! How fun is that? It's the perfect guy paper pack and you must go check it out! Lots of fun masculine patterns all in one 6x6 pack!

I stamped a sentiment from CSS's Occasions 1 set in Vintage Cream and for whatever reason I can't get it to photograph well. So it looks really light in the picture. BUT super CAS and very quick and easy to make!

Retro Sketches #12

Happy Saturday! I'm here today to with another Retro Sketch! The original sketch is from Arielle and you can see her card HERE! Here is my card for this week...

This little flower has to be one of my favorites! I love the plaid and its even more fun combined with this color combo! I embossed the background and then layered it with a little music. I added in the leaves and the flowers subbed in for the ribbon on the sketch.

Today I am off to go flooring shopping with my MIL. Sounds fun right? Right. She is remodeling her kitchen/living room and so excited about it. It's pretty fun to see! My FIL passed away recently so it is nice to see her excited about something! Then we are off to the water park. The spray park in town opened yesterday and the kids are chomping at the bit. I seriously have 2 fish in my house. They LOVE the water! And it's going to be hot, so why not right? Ok, off to start the day! Hope its a great one for you!

It's that time again...time for another CAS-ual Fridays! I know I've said this before but time goes by way too fast! I can't believe we are at the end of another week!

Here is my card for this weeks challenge...

This week its all about using your punches or dies. I chose a circle die to make a fun little vellum window. I heat embossed this adorable Lawn Fawn sentiment and added the vellum to the back of the card front. I also added a little Lawn Fawn patterned paper at the bottom.

God is our refuge...

I made this card quite some time ago but I hadn't used Mendi in forever (or Mindy as I like to call her) so I dusted it off to make this background...

I really wanted the background to show through, so I added this Verve scripture sentiment on a Mat Stack and kept it pretty simple so that the background could really stand out. Most of those colors you see are Amuse (fantastic...yeah I've said it before!) inks except for the red which is PTI's Pure Poppy.

Keeping this short and sweet! Off to get my toes done today! It's something my SIL and I do once or twice a month during the summer so we can have cute flip flop feet! OK that and I like the hour of kid free time! Just sayin.... ;)

Happy Mother's Day!

Stopping in with a card I made for my mom. She is not here right now as her and my dad are traveling for work. So she gets an e-card. That works right?

So this was a pretty easy card. I took my AMuse (Have I told you how amazingly fabulous this ink is?) ink pad and just tapped around on the card front to make that blue rectangle in the background. Easy right? Yes! Then I added the Studio G sentiment. I layered the TANL die leaves with Spring Moss on top and black on the bottom. I added 2 flowers that I made using the Cheery Lynn dies. Super simple!

This goes out to all my online Momma friends too! I hope that you have an amazing Mother's day! I am going to be hanging out with my 2 kiddos! They are pretty much my favorite thing ever! I hope every day that I am the best mom I can be! They are truly gifts from God!

Happy Saturday! I can't believe we are at the weekend already! I am setting this to post at about 8am. I am probably garage saleling right now! Our town has a city wide once a year and so we got out super early to find some deals. Not that I need to bring someone else's junk into my house, but you know....

So this week's sketch is brought to you by Tracy Ercole. HERE is her original card. Here is my card based on Tracy's sketch...

I used my homemade foam clouds for the background with a little MFT grass. Then some CSS clouds out of some fun patterned paper. I added a sentiment in the place of the bow from the sketch. Here is this weeks sketch...

Here is my DeNami/Twinery creation...

I stamped the DeNami images and the added some Copic coloring and a little bling. Of course, I added the twine to separate the image and sentiment. I attached that to some Bazzill Swiss Dot paper, and then attached that to my card base.

This weeks CAS-ual Fridays Challenge is a fun one! It's all about Feathered Friends. I just recently came across a fun new stamp set from Clear and Simple called Flower Buds, that had several little adorable bird stamps. So I knew exactly what to create for this challenge! Here is my card...

I added a little Copic grass and then the sentiment from Butterfly Garden 2. Easy peasy!

It's DeNami Product Spotlight time! We have a gorgeous stamp to share today! The font is just so pretty! Check it out...

I used some fun pattern paper for the face of my card and then added the label with the sentiment and some gray rosebuds...(Although they look super dark in this picture!) Sweet and simple!

Clear and Simple Group Projects

It's Group Project day over at Clear and Simple! We have a fun project theme to share with you today! We are using the same stamps to make a masculine and a feminine card.

My first card all in blue...

And the same exact card but in pink...

It sure is amazing what color can do! I used the new background set Designer Lines for these cards! I stamped the diamond in black on both card bases, then stamped the lines and the chevron and cut those out. I popped the 2 top layers up on foam tape for some dimension. Super CAS and quick cards!

Simply Stated...

Stopping in today with 2 quick cards using Simply Stated 1 and 2, newly release sets from Clear and Simple....and a few other fun, new goodies! :)

Here is my first card using Simply Stated 2...

I added some stems from the Flowers set and the yellow flowers are from the new Flower Buds set. The flower centers were cut out using the Critter Dies....yep those are the eyes from the Raccoon and the Owl...yes that feels weird to say out loud! :) After cutting those out, I stamped them with the Diamond grid background stamp and popped them up on pop dots! Super simple!

Here is the next card I made today, using Simply Stated 1....

The background is from the new set, Designer Lines. Then I stamped some stars from Stars Plus on blue cardstock and cut it out wtih the USA die. After I popped that up on foam tape, I added in the "made in the USA" sentiment. I thought it was a fun, kinda patriotic card!

Good Monday morning! Today is DeNami Challenge day! We have a super fun sketch from Lisa P! First off, here is my card....

As you can tell, I kinda turned and twisted the sketch a tiny bit! But what a fun sketch it is! I love that little tab she added in and I thought it would made a great ribbon tag! I used the adorable Ice Cream Cone stamp for my main image and colored it with Copics. Here is the sketch....

I am pretty excited about today's Retro Sketch! Arielle picked this one from my blog! The original is one of my Colour Q cards. You can see it HERE!

Here is the remake...

I used a piece of patterned paper for the card front and then added some white and yellow. I used a Paper Smooches sentiment on the original so I figured I would use another one today! That sentiment set is darling! I also added a little Mehndi Medallion impression plate to the focal point.

Clear and Simple Release Day

I am so excited to be able to finally share the whole release with you! I have several cards to show you and also a link to the whole collection! Let's get started!

Here is my first card...

This card uses the new edger die, the new Imprint plate, All Occasions 2 and Flowers. The new imprint plate is amazing! It gives such a clean and crisp look! And the flowers are too cute!

Here is the next card...

This card uses the Imprint plate, Labels 11, Butterflies 1 and Butterflies 2 and a sentiment from All Occasions 2. I love the labels from Clear and Simple. All of the shapes have a matching outline stamp to go with them. I love the look it gives!

My next card is full of serious hexagons...(I hope you can see them...the darker picture showed them a little better!)

This new background set, Hexagons Plus, is fantastic! It has 7 different hexagon backgrounds, plus lots of little extras! SO SO fun!!

And my last card for today showcases the new Shapes: Hexagon dies. Ummmm....LOVE!

I just added a few with different papers and a sentiment. Simple and sweet! This die set is a must have for your crafting stash!!

In this card, I used the a new die from a set called State to State. I added a sentiment from Simply Stated 2. After punching 2 small holes, I ran a piece of brown twine from each and then added a little arrow for some color. I can't wait to see what the rest of the girls have! This team has been so fun to be apart of and I can't believe its been a full year already! We are saying hello to a bunch of new and talented girls today too! I stamped a little Grunge Me in Fresh Snow ink on the black cardstock and then added a layer of red behind the focal point. I think it turned out kinda fun! It's a good guy card!

Hey! So glad you came back by to check out day 3 of sneak peeks for Clear and Simple. Today's projects are all made from the new Alphabet stamp sets or die sets! I picked the new lowercase die set and made this card...

I just layered some cute cherry paper behind the letters and added a little corner rounder and white gel pen to finish!

Clear and Simple Preveiw Day 2

I am back with another sneak peek at a few fun items from the new May/June Clear and Simple release. Today we are showcasing the flowers and butterflies.

Here is my card...

I stamped the whole image of the flowers in green and the colored the ends with a red marker. I love the look of these little buds!

I used a new butterfly set, the dies and an adorable new flower set too! All of these are available in just a few days! May 5th to be exact!

Here is my card...

I used the die and cut out 3 hears to pop up on foam tape, like Maile did in one of her release cards! She's good!! :) Then I added a little pearl for some more detail!
