A rather stern looking Isaiah looks back at her, as Portia asks him to hold off for now!

It sounds like he’s anxious to get justice for himself after being assaulted by Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) in the Metro Court Gardens.

Aside from the charges brought by the police, Isaiah may want to sue for lost wages, pain and suffering, and maybe even loss of his career, and medical bills!

Isaiah looks like he’s not sure why Portia would want him to hold off-what does she expect to achieve by delaying?

Curtis Tries To Mount A Defense

In the meantime, Curtis tries to mount a defense, as he talks to an attorney; he tells the person he would like him or her to defend him.

The other person is not shown in the clip, but some possibilities are Alexis Davis, (Nancy Lee Grahn) or Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) or, perhaps Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst).

Neither of those three should have any conflict of interest going up against Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor).

But if she were to recuse herself for conflict of interest, the prosecution could land in Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos) lap, and that could be awkward, Curtis would have to opt for Diane!

Cassius’ Disapppointment

It looks like Cassius is at Wyndemere with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) as Cassius looks visibly disappointed.

Sidwell tells him that locating his sister, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is no longer a priority, and Cassius may wonder if that’s code for “dead!”

The fact is, another scientist is in the running to be Britt’s replacement, although it’s certainly not her choice, to say the least.

What will Cassius do the next time he checks in on Josslyn, and finds out his mother is her roommate?

Kai’s Overprotective

In the meantime, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) is coming across as being more than just a tad overprotective, judging by Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) response!

She demands answers, wanting to know why he is so intent on her delegating.

It looks like Trina may be using work to cope with all the family troubles taking place in her life, and that’s not usually the healthiest thing to do.

But she definitely doesn’t like being overprotected, and she’s been through and handled things much more stressful than what’s going on now.

Will she be able to get Kai to trust her, that she knows what’s best for herself and how to handle everything?

Laura Wants An End To The Nightmare She And Sonny Have Been In

For too long, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have been enduring a Sidwell-sponsored nightmare, and she’s had enough.

She tells Sonny, “We have endured this nightmare together, let’s end it together!”

She didn’t want Sonny to kill Sidwell, but she wanted to bring him down legally, and brought to justice, and when they talked about it, she had an idea how to do it.

This should be Laura’s telling Sonny that idea and how she planned to implement it, but she wants him involved in the outcome.

Is Liesl Okay?

In the cell underneath Wyndemere, Josslyn must be talking to either Sidwell or possibly Ross Cullum, (Andrew Hawkes) as she sits by an unconscious Liesl.

Cullum was hiding in her backseat and chloroformed her and brought her to the cell exactly like what was done to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) several months ago!

Josslyn wants to know what he did to Liesl, as she’s not seeming to revive-did her kidnapper use too much chloroform, perhaps?

It’s obvious that Liesl has been kidnapped to force her into taking Britt’s place to complete the prototype, which was Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) last project.

But what happens if Liesl is uncooperative, or unable to be roused; then, what’s Cullum’s backup plan?

There’s a crime story doing the rounds about a $200,000 Star Wars LEGO collection and YouTuber Benjamin “Reckless Ben” Schneider.

Notably, it seems like a huge legal mess. It came after the influencer tried to expose corporate greed. However, he landed up in handcuffs. Read on for more details.

The Initial Reports

East Idaho News reported on the bizarre chain of events. What started as a civil dispute in Oregon escalated fast.

The backstory involved a family who claimed that a Bricks & Minifigs franchise wrongfully kept their consigned LEGO.

That’s when Schneider stepped in and helped the family win a small claims case. However, the owners shut down the store. And the the owners claimed it was due to safety threats.

Investigative instincts fired up, Reckless Ben tracked the owners, Joshua Johnson and Brandon Best. After he found them in American Fork, Utah, things went horribly wrong.

Body Cam Footage

Police body cam footage recently arrived via Jesse Weber on his Sidebar segment on the Law&Crime Network. In it, crime fans saw that Schneider got arrested two days in a row.

The trouble started when he showed up wearing a UPS hat, trying to get the owner to sign for a package full of rubber ducks.

While true crime followers might snicker about it, the cops disapproved.

Nonetheless, they let him off with a warning that he was “walking a very dangerous line.”

Arrested For Stalking, Picketing

The very next day, the next day the cops booked him for stalking and targeted picketing.

Allegedly he put up a giant satirical lawn sign near the home with Johnson’s face and the words, “I stole a dying man’s life savings.”

Home Raided

After his first release, Schneider ran into problems with that crowd funder. The video and narrative showed that the cops raided the Airbnb he was renting, searched it, and brought him back in.

Schneider’s legal team and supporters argue his actions were protected speech and that he was attempting to serve legal documents.

Well, it seems that law enforcement, per their statutes, didn’t agree with the man at the heart of the Star Wars LEGO collection saga.

More Scenes Arrived

Instead, they opined that financial grievances don’t give anyone a pass to break harassment laws.

Schneider claimed that the department redacted body cam footage to hide an undocumented three-hour search.

So, Benjamin “Reckless Ben” Schneider suggested the cops “unredact the audio that makes the police look bad.”

Viewers React

Online reaction in the comments mostly leaned toward Reckless Ben. One of them read, “Reckless Ben is perfectly exposing the corruption going on in those police departments.”

However, others felt that Jesse Weber didn’t go far enough with his legal breakdown on it. Plus, he didn’t share the updated coverge that Ben released. And true crime folks seldom criticize him.

Why is Law and Crime not explaining that the police cannot trespass him when he’s not even stepping foot on his property? Plus the sign is legal. And it’s not illegal to post that sign. These police are seriously corrupt. Wow!!

She captioned it with, “Had some pasta and a fascinating conversation last night with brilliantly talented, David Borenstein, Academy Award winning director for Best Documentary, ‘Mr Nobody Against Putin.’”

If that weren’t enough, she also added, “If you haven’t seen it, please do. It will be up to all of us “nobody’s” to save humanity from Putin & his Siloviki, Trump & his Republican regime, Netanyahu and his Likud right wing coalition, the other despots and oligarchs who want us to bend to their will.”

“They all use the same playbook to disempower us. It’s a slow and steady dehumanizing process. We adapt and relent or we stay vigilant and resist. The choice is ours.”

The news that James Handy passed away arrived via ABC7 LA, and other mainstream outlets. The details explained that on Wednesday, June 3, the 81-year-old actor was found unconscious with a stab wound to his chest.

It happened at his home in his yard in Tarzana, Los Angeles. Despite the best efforts of EMTs, he was unfortunately declared deceased on arrival at a hospital.

According to the outlet, the former Governor from The Young and the Restless also acted in other shows and movies like “Jumanji,” “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Arachnophobia.”

A Suspect Was Arrested

Per the report, a suspect was arrested and he was identified as Michael Gledhill, 44, the son of Handy’s girlfriend.

Apparently, he actually brought the incident to the attention of the police. And, the records show that he told the dispatcher:

I am the son of man, I just killed the man of sin.

The Charges

Y&R and other TV buffs probably feel heartbroken by the fact that the charges preferred included one count of murder, with bail set at $2 million.

No doubt the case, if it goes to trial, will get a large following. And not because of James Handy being seen in Genoa City in the past. He was also popular for his guest role on Ryan’s Hope in the late 1970s.

Devon has been a pain in may people’s sides lately and Lily is getting fed up with him. Lily may want to run the company with Cane instead of folding it into Winters so she can give Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) a job.

After all, Holden is her newfound brother, and Devon doesn’t trust him at all. Lily could find herself apologizing for Devon’s attitude.

Trouble Rears Its Ugly Head

It seems like Lily and Cane will be facing another problem soon. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is about to go after Chancellor again and this will certainly upset Sally.

Is Billy’s obsession with Chancellor going to cause issues with Sally and her pregnancy? Will Billy back down and put his family first?

Nick Newman Heads To Rehab

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) finally gets himself into rehab but look for some relapse issues in the near future.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will struggle with some major feelings about giving up Newman Enterprises. Phyllis truly believed she would be able to keep the company and move on with her life.

Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Damian) and Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) have cut Phyllis out of their lives.

Sidwell And Cullum May Corner Obrecht

Their aim could be to corner Obrecht, leaving her with no option but to continue where Britt left off; GH spoilers indicate that Liesl is in for a shocking surprise on Friday, June 5, suggesting she might be ambushed and kidnapped.

It’s easy to envision Obrecht being compelled to go to Wyndemere for a discussion about a new position. Liesl will also issue a warning in Friday’s episode, but it may not hold much weight if Sidwell and Cullum’s threats are more severe.

Additionally, it’s possible that “Nathan West,” also known as Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey), will be assigned to help keep Obrecht in check.
