Joseph Duggar and his wife Kendra Duggar are in the news, and most Counting On fans understand the charges against the couple. However, there seems to be some confusion over who the victims are. Read on for clarity and why the rumors are wrong.

Joe & Kendra Were Both Arrested 

These days, plenty of outlets report about Joseph Duggar being arrested for alleged abuse claims against a child from Florida. However, bloggers also discuss the charges both of them face.

Notally, the charges against Kendra are not related to a victim from Florida. In fact, they both ended up charged with child endangerment, so perhaps all the charges confused people. Plus, digging into the entire family causes an overload of information.

Victim Naming & Confusion 

Info overload might explain why some people seem to think that both of them are charged with alleged sexual abuse of a child. Obviously, Counting On fans hate it when victim naming happens. But, they become more irritated when the victim outed is the wrong person.

Some folks mistakenly talk about the victim being part of the Duggar family. That doesn’t mean fans of the TLC show do it deliberately. Rather, it seems like a genuine misunderstanding of the complex case that gets examined under a microscope by various bloggers.

Of course, the commenters who try and discuss the victim end up getting slammed for outing a victim, and for outing the incorrect victim. So, let’s recap the facts if you also got confused by various bloggers who do deep dives into the family.

The Facts

Nobody knows the name of the victim from Florida. What has emerged is that Joseph Duggar allegedly engaged in intimate acts against the victim when she was nine years old. He’s been charged with the offense that allegedly happened in Florida. That explains why he was extracted there for his arraignment.

The father of the child, who is now 14, laid the charges against Joe and, allegedly, he confessed what he did. So, he is charged with “lascivious behavior against a minor” during a family trip in 2020 to Panama City Beach.

Kendra & TontiTown

While Kendra Duggar was also arrested, it’s not related to the alleged acts that happened in Florida. Instead, she was arrested for charges of “False Imprisonment” and “Four counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.” These charges came in Tontitown, and Joe Duggar also faces the same ones.

The Tontitown charges arose because allegedly, bedroom doors within a residence were padlocked from the outside. Of course, that prevents a safe exit or “easy egress” in the event of an emergency. While the charges are serious, they are totally separate from the sexual offense allegations in Florida.

Obviously, keeping the facts straight is essential for any TLC fan following the story. Hopefully this clears it up for everyone. After all, even suggesting who any of the victims were seems to go against the unwritten etiquette of social media.

“Certainly, from a therapy standpoint, you want to be the best version of yourself for your kids. And I knew that I had stuff from the past that I needed to deal with and therefore, prepare myself to basically cleanse myself of the past,” he said.

“I think the biggest tip that I was given from my therapist in the U.K. was just be aware of how you feel once the baby is born,” he said.

However, it wasn’t all smooth-sailing from there, because even after the children’s arrival, Harry found that there was still a lot to do before he can be able to raise his children in a more superior way than his own father raised him.

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) will try to encourage Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) about treatment for her face.

But the big question is, will she even be willing to try the German clinic where he went for his burns?

Jordan Is Very Depressed

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has been trying to support Jordan, and a couple of plastic surgeons reached out to her in her room at General Hospital.

It was good news that her one kidney wasn’t injured, but she insisted on seeing her face, so Curtis helped take the bandages off and got her a mirror.

It was at that point, after Curtis left the room, and after TJ Ashford (most recently Tajh Bellow) was dissuaded from rushing home, that she broke out in tears.

It’s obvious that Jordan is very depressed over the injuries to her face, when, normally, she is a very strong woman. She didn’t want her son to see her like this, even when she hadn’t seen him for close to a year!

Michael Reaches Out

Michael may try to reach out to Jordan since he went through something similar, minus the cuts-his treatment in the German clinic was for many months, but his burns don’t show at all.

Jordan has some significant burns as well as deep cuts from the glass car window that her face went through in the car wreck.

The cuts may well leave worse scars than the burns, but in either case, the plastic surgeons didn’t give a lot of hope that they would be able to completely remove them.

However, with the techniques that were used for his burns, Michael learns they have techniques that can be used for deep cuts as well.

He didn’t want to approach Jordan without something real that could give her hope for her face to be normal again, so he checked with them.

For The First Time In Her Life, Jordan Wants To Give Up

For the first time in her life, Jordan wants to give up, and she’s never been a quitter before-Michael also talks it over with Curtis and Stella Henry (Vernée Watson) first.

Before broaching the subject with Jordan, he has all the information to make a decision in hand. But although Jordan listens to it and listens to them, she just seems tired-and finally she confides in Curtis alone.

She’s not sure if Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) will allow her to go to Germany because of the time involved.

If she goes for treatment it could take several months, and just the time that she’s even in GH takes time away from her secret mission to find incriminating information on him!

Will Spencer Is Not The Problem

RJ and Ivy chose to corner Ridge in the CEO office and basically demanded that Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) and Dylan be fired from Forrester Creations.

Will worked at Forrester for a long time and he has done everything he has been asked to do. Steffy just recently hired Dylan and isn’t about to fire her on the orders of someone else.

Will is not the problem. Will has been trying to keep personal business away from the office and has apologized for anything that has been brought there.

Will even offered to resign which Steffy refused to allow. However, that same cannot be said for Ivy or RJ who continue to manipulate and cheat others.

RJ Forrester Is Going Too Far

RJ is doing nothing but putting all of Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) sin off on his son. RJ is calling Will a sleaze and acting as though he is walking in his father’s footsteps.

However, none of this is justified. Will has done nothing wrong and is trying to remain professional. RJ has done nothing of the sort. Will the Forrester’s see it the same way?

Daphne Walton (Murielle Hilaire) has finally opened up to Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) and told her exactly what Ivy has been up to.

Now that Electra knows the truth, what will she do with all of this? Will Electra go to Stephanie about the issues going on at the office already? Will Steffy put an end to this once and for all?

Will Ridge Forrester And Steffy Forrester Fire Someone?

Ridge is going to have to discuss this with Steffy because they are co-CEOs and they need to make decisions together.

Ivy has been causing drama that has Will and RJ fighting every day. Ivy is also manipulating Electra and Will who have both been minding their business and neither of them deserve what has happened to them.

Ivy should definitely be fired but what about RJ? Should RJ be fired for the uproar he is causing at the office or maybe be shipped off to the Paris office like other troublesome people?

Bill is not going to let this go and could threaten RJ himself. What will happen to RJ now that he is becoming a huge problem at Forrester Creations? Will Bill, or someone related to Dylan deal with him instead?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 2026 Australian trip was filled with a lot of activities, including a surprise appearance on Australian TV’s MasterChef.

As a lifestyle influencer and the owner of a Netflix cooking show, Meghan Markle put her culinary skills to the test by judging the participants of the cooking show.

In the teaser clip of the Melbourne cooking show shared on Wednesday, April 15, Judge Poh Ling Yeow introduced the 44-year-old Duchess with both her royal designation and her birth name. This is despite the fact that Meghan publicly stated that she no longer goes by her pre-marriage surname.

Meghan Markle Introduced With This Surname Following Her Revelation On ‘With Love, Meghan’

Last year, Meghan Markle launched her Netflix cooking show, ‘With Love, Meghan,’ and when we’re not learning about the Duchess’s hosting skills or her favorite recipes, we’re being treated to tidbits of her life.

For example, the former actress now prefers to go by her husband’s name, rather than by the name she grew up with and is more popularly known by.

“We’ve had MasterChef royalty in the kitchen before, but nothing like this,” Yeow said, in way of introduction to their latest high profile guest. “All the way from sunny California, please welcome to MasterChef Australia…the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle!”

Even though this little appearance was filmed when the couple touched down in Australia for their four-day visit, the episode will air when the new series launches on Sunday, April 19.

The introduction, however, tended to conflict with Meghan’s wishes, which she made on her cooking show last year. During an episode of the show, Meghan corrected pal Mindy Kaling for calling her by her maiden name.

During an exchange, Kaling happened to remark that “people wouldn’t believe that Meghan Markle ate at Jack in the Box,” leading the mother-of-two to interject: “It’s so funny, too, that you keep saying ‘Meghan Markle.’ You know I’m ‘Sussex’ now.”

She further explained that she made the decision to change her last name, in order for her to have some uniformity with her husband and children.

She would later reiterate this sentiment in a 2025 interview with PEOPLE, saying, “It’s our shared name as a family, and I guess I hadn’t recognised how meaningful that would be to me until we had children. I love that that is something that Archie, Lili, H and I all have together.”

Willow Tait Cain’s Influence

Let’s begin with Willow. It is stated that the congresswoman will use her influence. Fans already saw her help Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) with the foster care situation.  

Willow is now focused on Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell). The former nurse tells Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) to keep Jacinda away from the children, or he will regret it. Later in the week, expect Willow to use her influence. It sounds like it might be for evil instead of for good! 

Drew Cain’s Opportunity

Meanwhile, Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) stops by to see Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Fans might remember when Drew tried blinking to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Even though Nina felt bad for Drew, she also didn’t get the hints.

When Liz goes to check on the locked-in patient, will she find a clue? Will Liz realize that soemthing isn’t quite right? 

Liz would be horrified to find out what Willow is doing to Drew. 

Ethan Lovett’s Special Request

General Hospital spoilers for the week of April 20 reveal that Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) will continue reconnecting. We already saw him meet up with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening).

Next, the returning character will visit Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi). While they get updated on each other’s lives, Ethan has a special request. He wants Kristina to arrange a meeting with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) as he wants a job. 

However, the preview clip for Monday shows Sonny declaring he has a better idea. Could Ethan end up being a spy? Could he get involved in the War on Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota)?

As for what else to expect, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has a rageful encounter with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).

Britt is blindsided and ends up fearing for a loved one. Meanwhile, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) interrogates Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawke).

A bit later in the week, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) does some digging. However, expect Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to give a warning. 

Over in New York City, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) explore The Big Apple. The young couple will also go backstage at the Broadway show, “Aladdin.”

Back in Genoa City, expect Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) to open up to Curtis.

Let’s kick off this post with Dylan. Fans don’t know very much about her past or family. While she seems like a nice girl who often does the wrong thing, there are too many unknowns.

In any case, Dylan gets a phone call. The woman answers, not knowing who is on the other end. That is when things take a creepy turn.

The caller sounds male, but the voice is also disguised. Remember, Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) used high-tech to make her voice sound different, too.

That doesn’t mean it’s her, but it’s a possibility.

The caller tells Dylan that they have unfinished business to discuss. This doesn’t sound good at all!

Zero Guilt

Over with Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace), she wants answers from her aunt. Electra always knew Ivy wasn’t a big fan of Will Spencer (Crew Morrow).

However, Electra never thought that her aunt would stoop to manipulation. 

Electra has been betrayed by people she trusted before. So, I’m not sure what this means for the jewelry line or Ivy’s future.

Katie Logan Spencer’s Next Move

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that we will also see Katie and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) host another fashion event.

It doesn’t appear Katie has hired a new designer yet. So, she is likely continuing to use Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) designs.

Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) mentioned Eric was depressed. We also haven’t seen him lately. So, expect him to resurface at some point, maybe with an attack plan.

What Else to Expect

Fans can also expect Sheila to continue stalking Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig).

While Deacon thinks Sheila took the news well, she is really determined to get her marriage back.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has never trusted Sheila’s reformation. The woman isn’t buying it this time, either. 

So, what is Sheila going to do next? Will anyone suspect that it’s Sheila, or could her reformed act cause complications?

While Sally is still trying to process, this is bringing up feelings from her last pregnancy. As fans know, the redhead delivered a stillborn, Ava Spencer Newman. 

Sally might worry that it could happen again. The redhead might also question if she’s ready to be a parent with Billy. While she loves him, Sally has also compared Billy to her high-risk, gambling father.

Nick Newman’s Grave Danger

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of April 20 reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) managed to get out of captivity. However, there is no way that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is done yet.

Fans watched as Matt sent a message to Sharon from Nick’s phone. Sharon and Noah show up at an abandoned building in a remote area. Noah mentions in a weekly preview clip that it’s not what he expected.

It seems Noah and Sharon make the mistake of entering the building. That is when Matt is going to ambush them, which forces Nick to go down a dangerous road.

As for what else to expect, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) goes to bat for Holden Novak (Nathan Owens).

However, will Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) agree to give the guy a chance considering he’s now family?

Later in the week, Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) tries to support Holden. It is also teased that Stephanie Johnson (Viviva A. Fox) reconnects with a friend.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) fires a warning shot. As for Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters), she busts Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in a compromising position.

Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) tries to help Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) with a huge decision.

On March 19, the seventh child of the Duggars, Joseph, was arrested for molesting a 9-year-old girl. With his arrest, he joins the eldest Duggar child in having a rap for child molestation and endangerment.

Josh Duggar was arrested for possessing child pornography, and is set to rejoin society by 2032. Now, his younger brother may be joining him behind bars, if the court case finds him guilty of the four counts of child molestation leveled against him.

Though the Duggars have 19 children, and well, not all of them are sure to be good eggs, sources are coming forward to claim that the arrests and the pattern of the arrests are not coincidence. It comes from the upbringing given to the children.

Source Claims Josh and Joseph Duggar Are Simply Repeating Generational Sins

Amy Duggar is not the only Duggar insider who feels that the disgusting Duggar kinks are a pattern inspired by their upbringing.

When the children were still little and filming TLC’s ’19 Kids and Counting,’ they were allegedly used as a good role model to other children. However, reality has proven that this is far from the truth.

On Thursday, insiders with intimate knowledge of the family spoke to US Weekly, and disturbing details were indeed revealed.

One insider claimed, “This doesn’t surprise me. I have the mindset that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, and in this instance, I believe it is generational sin that has been passed on. That’s not a normal issue that most people have.”

You know how the Duggars treat their females, right? The alpha males must have sex whenever they need it, or it’s no longer their fault for cheating.

Even at that – eight and four children by Josh and Joseph respectively – they still sadly get their kick out of sexualizing the little ones.

Touching on the family’s hypocrisy, one source said, “We couldn’t believe they were going to have a reality show. You’re not allowed to watch TV, but you’re going to put yourself in front of the whole world? It was one of the first times people started talking about the hypocrisy.”

But if hypocrisy was all they did, the world would be infinitely better off. “Unfortunately, [abuse] is extremely common in the [IBLP] community. I can tell you hundreds, literally hundreds of stories of things I know happened that were completely dismissed, where nothing was ever done about it,” another source disclosed.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of April 20 reveal that Stephanie and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) aren’t seeing eye-to-eye. The kidnapping has traumatized Stephanie, leading her to be distant with her husband. 

After another argument, Stephanie confides in Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark). However, fans shouldn’t worry too much just yet. By the end of the week, Stephanie and Alex get closer.

Over with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), they enjoy some romance. 

As for Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), he tries to make plans with his ex. However, Leo will also be stalking Javi Hernandez’s (Al Calderon) new boyfriend online.
