How to remove the Undefined date error message

If you have recently installed a new Template and you are seeing Undefined date error messages, it's probably because you didn't choose the correct date format.

To repair this, Log in to your Blogger Dashboard and go to Setting → Formatting → Date Header Format and choose a format like this 20 December 2010

Save and now you shouldn't see any error message :-)

How to use a Favicon on Blogger-Blogspot

A favicon is the small quare icon displayed in the browser address bar. To have one for your Blogger blog, follow these easy steps.

Go to Dashboard → Layout → Edit HTML and search for </head> and juste above it add the follow code :

<link href='http://YourImageURL.ico' rel='shortcut icon' type='image/x-icon'/>

You can use any image format, but if you want to see your Favicon on Internet Explorer you should use a 16x16px .ico image.

How to remove and Hide the Blogger NavBar

To hide the Blogger default Navbar, go to Dashboard → Layout → Edit HTML and search for ]]></b:skin> and just above it add this code:

#navbar-iframe {
display: none !important;
}

That's all :-)
If you want to show the Navibar again delete the code we just added.

How to install a Blogger Template

Download your favorite Blogger XML template to your computer and unzipp the file.
Log in to your Blogger dashboard and go to Template > Edit HTML.
Ensure you back up your old template in case you decide to use it again. To do this, click on the Download Full Template link and save the file to your hard drive.
Click Browse button and look for the .XML file in the Template folder created after unzipping the original file (1st step).
Press the Upload button.
Confirm and Save (you won't loose your Widgets).
