Terra Pack

What really makes the Terra pack feel different from the rest is the unusual color combination. The ‘Desert Sand’ upper with a shiny finish and ‘Black-Psychic’ Purple are two colors we have not seen on any recent cleats from Nike, especially paired together. The neutral sand tone with touches of bright colors make them aesthetically appealing and doesn’t feel too flashy.

The color choice is a refreshing change from the commonly popular Red, Blue, and Bright Pink colors we usually see on cleats. These almost feel like they have been customized through Nike I.D since we couldn’t compare them to anything else. A gradient design around the heel gives them a two-tone effect and a simple outline of the Nike swoosh completes the look.

The latest adidas collection, the ‘Encryption’ Pack, gives each silo new colorways that follow a camouflage theme. Top adidas athletes will be seen wearing these on the pitch, replacing the summer collections. The Encryption pack also debuts the launch of the Copa 20+ and 20.1 with a shiny Silver look, different from the rest of the pack.

Predator 19.1

The Predator is predominately a military Green with light Green splashes on the upper to give it a camo-style look. The three stripes, upper trim, and outsole are in a very light Tan color that completes the theme very nicely. The Encryption pack will be the last colorway for the predator 19. The next generation is set to release soon with the upcoming colorways.

Nemeziz 19+

The Nemeziz 19+ has a striking look, it uses a mixture of Grey colors to create its own version of the camouflage theme. The accents of this cleat are bright Orange which really pop out and give the Nemeziz a sharp look. X 19.1

We took our first look at the Mercurial Dream speed pack, Nike’s latest series launch exclusively for the Mercurial Superfly and Vapor. The series is designed to define speed and will be showcased by Nike’s fastest athletes like Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe, and Sam Kerr.

The first edition of the Dream Speed series comes in a Blue Void colorway with subtle Volt and shimmery accents. A clever design unveils crop lines, color codes, registration marks and even outlines some of the interior technologies as if you were looking at some blueprints for the Mercurial.

A brand new ‘MDS’ brand is displayed on the outside of the cleat, similar to the Cristiano Ronaldo signature CR7 packs. while the other has a ‘001’ stating that it’s the first edition of the series.

Nike has transitioned from their exclusive Ronaldo CR7 packs and brings in a new series. Mercurial Dream Speed tells a story of multiple athletes reaching their true potential to find their dream speed.

Although Cristiano Ronaldo will debut the Mercurial Dream Speed pack. The series is set to focus on the needs of a wider selection of Nike athletes and will also be worn exclusively by Sam Kerr and Kylian Mbappe for the launch.

Unlike past colorways this season, all silos will have the same color combination with specific Silver and Platinum details designed for each style.

Taking a look at the Mercurial Vapor, right away we notice the impressive structure and superior looks. The way the lights reflect off the cleats resembles a luxurious piece of jewelry any pro would want to wear. It features the latest technology from Nike and really focuses on speed and traction. The upper Flyknit construction wraps around your foot and connects to a lightweight forefoot plate re-designed with a stiffer chassis for explosive acceleration.

Less is more with the Phantom VNM. The solid white colorway makes the upper look like a blank canvas that lets all the textures pop out and shine. It really allowed us to appreciate the engineering behind this cleat. From from micro-texture molded into the toes for ball control to the strategically placed instep blades, to create spin and flight of the ball. It’s easy to see the full layout of this cleat and how every piece of technology serves a purpose.

The Nike Phantom VSN Nuovo White pack

There’s something about White cleats that leaves an impression on the pitch. The Nike Phantom VSN is a perfect example of that, having these cleats in a solid pearly White color really compliments the Ghost Lace system and overall sleek design. Walking out on game day with a pair of these, you’ll be sure to have opponents turning their heads.

The Nike Tiempo Legend Nuovo White Pack

The iconic Tiempo Legend was the first silo released for the Nuovo White pack earlier this year. To top if off, the colorway debuted the eighth generation of the cleat. With a revamped upper and upgraded technology, the appealing White color with silver accents paired nicely and represented the modernized era of the classic cleat.

I think we can all appreciate when Nike releases a White colorway. Sometimes the simple look is the cleanest look. The Nike Mercurial Vapor Game Over Euphoria pack

Looking first at the Mercurial Vapor, we see a bright orange upper that looks speckled with white. It’s as if someone ran up and down the touchline while the chalk was still wet. There are speckles of orange on the soleplate and orange stud tips to complement the upper. A metallic graphite grey swoosh is outlined in black for a sharp contrast that completes the look.

The Nike Superfly Game Over Euphoria pack

The Superfly Game Over Euphoria pack mirrors the Vapor style wise and adds the Dynamic Fit collar made entirely of Flyknit. The 360 Flyknit upper is in place on both cleats and the split soleplate features on both silos to aid players in acceleration and braking.

The Nike Phantom VSN Game Over Euphoria pack

The Game Over Euphoria Phantom VSN takes on the same deep blue that we saw late last year on the Always Forward pack. The mix of blue and white is used almost identically to the pattern we see on the Mercurial. What’s unique about this Phantom VSN is there is no triangle on the instep for the very first time since it was released.

The Phantom VNM rounds out the Game Over Euphoria pack with the same deep blue and white combo employed by the VSN. While the design is consistent with the speckled paint look, it runs front to back on the VNM instead of top to bottom like on the rest of the pack. The deep blue is particularly striking on Flyknit and really pops on the micro-textured toe box and lace cover.

Overall, the Game Over Euphoria pack is a nice color up for Nike. The pack utilizes spring colors and gives them a fresh design. While we’ve seen colors like this before from Nike, we haven’t seen them mixed in this way. The cleats themselves look like Jackson Pollock got his hands on them and they will no doubt stand out on any field they’re on.

The LVL UP Superfly features the safari print originally seen back in 1987 on a Nike Air running shoe. More recently, it was seen on the 2010 Mercurial that Ronaldo wore. The safari print looks like the spots you’d see on a cheetah or leopard. It is mainly on the portion of the upper that has ACC (All-Conditions Control). This means you see that reflective print on the black of the swoosh as well as the creamy white of the upper. It’s hard to describe, but it looks fantastic and we’ve actually put our unboxing video below so you can see for yourself.

The LVL UP Superfly

The style stripe that wraps the toe and soleplate of the cleat is actually a combination of numerous iconic Mercurials of the past. That same style stripe is featured at the front of the collar as well as on the aglet of the shoelaces. Putting on the shoes, you will notice the pattern once again on the insoles. It’s a subtle touch that fans will appreciate even if they’re the only ones that see it.

The LVL UP Superfly is truly eye-catching and it needs the bag to match. Fortunately, Nike did not disappoint there. The cinch bag included takes the same level of style and swagger and puts it on full display. The safari print is metallic and reflective on the bag and while we normally don’t talk about cinch bags, this one was worth mentioning.

The jersey is striking as it combines a classic black base color with a modernized Aztec print horizontally striped across the front. The print was inspired by the adidas Azteca ball used in the 1986 World Cup when Mexico was the host.

The sleeves of the jersey have the famous green, white, and red of the Mexican flag at the hem. If you roll the sleeve up slightly, the words Soy Mexico are written on the inside which is a subtle design feature that jersey aficionados will appreciate.

On the left breast is the Mexican National team crest and the adidas logo is on the right breast. The famous 3 stripes go across the shoulders to complete the well designed 2019 Mexico Home jersey. The jersey really is unique in its look while still feeling “just right”. It’s hard to describe, but it’s the type of jersey you like straight away whether you cheer for Mexico or not.

It should also be noted that the back of the jersey is all black so player names and numbers will stand out. While we can’t predict the results at this year’s Gold Cup, we can guarantee El Tri will look fantastic.

The 2019 Mexico home line has style for days

The 2019 Mexico Home jersey comes in youth and women’s sizes as well as a mini kit for young kids. It is part of a larger collection that includes a pre-match shirt made from Parley Ocean plastic, a graphic tee inspired by the Mayan calendar, a bomber jacket, and some board shorts.

The whole collection looks amazing and Mexico soccer fans are going to have plenty of options for representing their team in style.

The simplicity of the home shirt is inspired by the 1999 jerseys Mia Hamm and co wore when they lifted the trophy on US soil. The swoosh, in particular, is identical on both shirts and it has a classic design. What’s very different is the cut and fit of these jerseys. Nike makes both a men’s and women’s version of this jersey cut specifically for those body types.

While the classic design of the home jersey is the story here, there are plenty of subtle design features. The back of the jersey has the names of the 50 states written in small light grey lettering along with the words “One Nation One Team”. It’s the type of detail you won’t notice until you get up close. What’s not so subtle is the 3 stars down the left leg of the home shorts. Players don’t need to look hard to understand what the standard is for the USWNT this summer.

The away jersey is a classic American red with some additional subtle design features. Sublimated into the fabric is a stars and stripes pattern that has a vintage Americana feel to it. It’s the kind of jersey that is just as much at home at a 4th of July bbq or a world cup match. On the inside of the jersey next to the label are the words “One Nation. One Team.” It is the same mantra found on previous jerseys and it is still a rallying cry.

The away top contains a vintage Americana pattern sublimated into the fabric.

The USWNT World Cup jerseys will no doubt see some amazing moments this summer. The official on-sale date for them is May 9th, but keep your eyes here for further updates.
