A few days ago we presented you an ASUS video teaser for the upcoming Computex event. The video was about the ASUS “next transformations” that will be unveiled by the Taiwan company at Computex 2012.

We initially thought that Taiwanese company is teasing the Google Nexus Tablet, as it was reported that the Android 5.0 Jelly Bean slate will be manufactured by ASUS, rumored to come with quad-core Tegra 3 chipset and 7-inch display.

Yesterday, ASUS returned with two more teasers and the mystery became more… well, mysterious. We know now that the Google Nexus tablet is not the next transformation, but we’ve seen a video that is centered on the idea of two sides, like the panel with “Tai” and “Chi” written on its opposite sides.

Anyway, the Tai Chi video seems to have no sense until you watch the second one that presents an interesting idea: water drops converging into one, with Windows 8 and Android logos making a cameo at the end of the teaser.

The rumor mill also speculates about the future technical speculations of the new iPhone 5. It seems that besides a bigger display the next gen iPhone will come with a more powerful processor, as well. My guess is that iPhone 5 will sport the dual-core 1 GHz A5X chipset that underpins the new iPad. It’s in Apple’s habit to equip their smartphones with the chipset of the iPad that is launched before it. Therefore iPhone 4 came with iPad’s A4 chipset, iPhone 4S packed the dual-core A5 CPU of the iPad 2, and, most likely the iPhone 5 will feature the 1 GHz A5X processor of the new iPad.

Apple will probably increase the RAM to 1GB and it was reported that the new iPhone will come with wireless charging, but the latter feature seems pretty unlikely. I am pretty sure that the new iPhone 5 will come with 4G LTE connectivity, supported by the A5X chipset.

As about the iPhone 5 release date, rumor has it that Apple will unveil the device at an event scheduled for October.

The people from Australia have the possibility to pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S3 at Virgin Mobile. Many pre-orders have already been made at other Australian carriers, but Virgin has a great offer and claims that the deliveries will be made within two or three days while other networks said that they would deliver the phone in one week. So, if you have friends who have already pre-ordered Samsung’s new device, you can get it much quicker than them of you purchase it from Virgin Mobile.

However, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is available only in one of the two colors, the Marble White version. In case you want to by the Pebble Blue version, you have to wait a few more days. Both versions have 16GB of internal storage. The 32GB version will be available probably at the end of the month.

The prices of the monthly plans start at $47 and rise depending on what additional options you choose. The Samsung Galaxy S3 has a pretty big display of 4.8 inches, but the device is still easy to carry and use. The internal memory of the GS3 can be 62GB, but you can choose to add another 62GB by inserting a microsSD card. What I like about this smartphone is its battery. It sports a 2100mAh battery which allows you to use it for many hours comparing to other phones. Not to mention the new features it includes, features which stunned even the most pretentious critics.

People can purchase the Samsung Galaxy S3 in 28 countries. Samsung is hopping that their new flagship smartphone will keep the company ahead of Apple. Strategy or not, releasing the Samsung Galaxy S3 before the iPhone 5 is a good move because if customers buy a new smartphone they won’t buy another a few months later when the iPhone 5 will be launched. Of course, there are people who are still faithful to Apple and they will probably wait until October to buy the iPhone 5. I you ask me, I don’t see what Apple can possibly come with in order to beat the Samsung Galaxy S3. The company will probably make the display a little bigger and say that it’s a big breakthrough, but hey, it’s just my opinion.

But there are a few things that bugged us inside the Fliboard beta version which have let us waiting for too long in some situations. But, as a whole, Fliboard offers a very pleasant experience, comparable with the one the iOS user can enjoy for a long time.

So, do you want to try Flipboard beta? You can either download the application here or you can subscribe here using this link that will redirect you to the Flipboard for Android official web page.
