Lebron James was on top of the world during the Cavaliers championship parade in downtown Cleveland. He addressed an estimated crowd of more than one million people and millions more on television but there apparently were some haters in the audience. Two people filed complaints with the FCC for Bron’s F-bombs and one of them referred to him as a “drunken sailor”.

WKYC and WOIO broadcast the players’ parade speeches live without a five-second delay, meaning James’ expletives weren’t censored, including multiple versions of the f-word.

“What’s going on right now feels so surreal to me,” James said during his speech. “It still hasn’t hit me what actually happened. For some crazy-ass reason I believe I’m going to wake up and it’s going to be like Game 4 all over again and I’m like, ‘Shit, we down 2-1 still.’”

Two people filed complaints with the Federal Communications Commission regarding LeBron James’ profanity-laden speech during the rally at the Cavaliers’ championship parade.

The Louisville viewer wrote to the FCC and said:

“The station allowed Lebron James to repeatedly use profanity on live TV… Thousands and thousands of families were watching the broadcast. Countless children listened to him talk like a drunken sailor. This is completely irresponsible of the network to allow this kind of language on live TV!”

The Cuyahoga Falls viewer wrote:

“I’m very proud of the Cavaliers winning the finals. Happy, fun day in Cleveland OH! But then Lebron got up to speak at the televised rally, and the whole speech reeked of profanity. On live tv – many channels, on live radio broadcasts, in front of a live 1 .3 million audience of fans, including many children. Was so uncalled for!!”

Too many are biting the dust and today we just want to salute Bernie Worrell Parliament-Funkadelic because he surely has some awesome memories he made while on Earth. Bernie Worrell, the cherished keyboardist for Parliament-Funkadelic and an unofficial member of Talking Heads, has died. The musician lost his battle with stage four lung cancer at the age of 72. 

Known as The Wizard of Woo, Worrell was a New Jersey native who moved to Detroit in the 1970s with doo-wop group The Parliaments, including leader George Clinton, and their backing band The Funkadelics. There, they became known together as Parliament-Funkadelic, the pioneering funk and soul group. Worrell was the second musician ever to receive the original Moog synthesizer and the Minimoog, allowing him to give P-Funk its revolutionary sound, which changed the course of R&B music. Along with the rest of P-Funk, Worrell was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

Worrell began working with Talking Heads in the early 1980s when P-Funk went on a touring hiatus. Although never officially a member of the band, he worked with David Byrne’s group throughout the ’80s until their disbandment in 1991. He’s featured on Speaking in Tongues as well as the Stop Making Sense live album and concert film. He reunited with the band when they performed during their induction into the RRHOF in 2002.

We will miss you Bernie Worrell. He was a true soldier for his band.

While he continued to perform with P-Funk throughout the ’90s and ’00s, he also became well known for his contributions to various genres and supergroups. He performed with Gov’t Mule; was part of Black Jack Johnson with Mos Def, Will Calhoun, Doug Wimbish, and Dr. Know; and formed Colonel Claypool’s Bucket of Bernie Brains with Les Claypool, Buckethead, and Bryan Mantia. He also played on Fela Kuti’s 1985 album Army Arrangement, and appeared in the 2015 film Ricki and The Flash as the keyboardist in Meryl Streep’s band. In between all that, he managed to release 12 solo records between 1978’s All the Woo in the World and 2016’s Retrospectives. 

Worrell was diagnosed with stage-four lung cancer in January of this year. His wife, Judie, had been updating his Facebook page as his health deteriorated. In a statement posted Friday afternoon, she wrote, “AT 11:54, June 24, 2016, Bernie transitioned Home to The Great Spirit. Rest in peace, my love — you definitely made the world a better place. Till we meet again, vaya con Dios.”

The event which was called  “Time To Unite: United Hoods + Gangs Nation”  took place at a community center in South Los Angeles earlier this week on Sunday (July 17th).

This anti-vilolence summit came after The Game and Snoop Dogg organized a peace rally in Los Angeles a week before.

The Bang wrote in  the invitation to the summit in his instagram: “Los Angeles, on behalf of myself, Snoop Dogg, and the honorable Louis Farrakhan, I want to extend the invitation to all CRIPS, BLOODS, ESE’s & all other gang members, major figures & GANG LEADERS from every hood in our city as well as the surrounding cities to our meeting 11am this morning” .

Hundreds had responded to the invitation. The Game Said he organized the summit after his step brother, Spanky, had been shot to death lately in Los Angeles. He cried when he talked about his death – “I’m here to be his voice” he said.

He added that the summit is also for the safety of his children and that he wish that when his 5 years daughter will be 18 “I want her to walk out the door, and I want it to be a little bit … safer”.

If you all had doubts whether Armando Christian Pérez, also known as  Pitbull supports Donald Trump, well… last week, he said to reporters that he is not a supporter of Donald Trump and furthermore in his eyes Trump’s presdential campaign is a joke!

“I think the [Trump’s] campaign is a joke to be honest with you. I think that it’s unfortunate the way we’re being viewed around the world due to some people’s approaches,”
“Am I supporting Donald Trump? No I am not supporting Donald Trump. You all know this already very well,” said Pitbull.

Probably those words came because of the article in Vanity Fair magazine who reported that Pitbull met with Trump in Florida. So now we all know what his opinion of Trump

Pitbull said the above on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, where he received a star for his remarkable work in the music industry and his overall contribution. During his long musical career, Pitbull has worked with many famous aritsts such as Usher, Shakira, Christina Aguilera, Kesha and Jennifer Lopez.

Two weeks ago   rapper 50 cent was arrestet  on satarday June 25th, after  a performance on the concert on  Caribbean island St. Kitts for  saying  the :”f” word during singing the song “P.I.M.P”  in front of 40,000 people.

After the show he was taken to the police station with a member of his band,  Bajar Walter.  They paid bail fees of 5,000$ on Sunday.

Although what happened,  50 cent said  “The show was a great success” and he will make sure that during future trips to St. Kitts he will leave the “motherf—–s” in the United States.

Ayesha Curry is building a food empire, y’all.

The Food Network ordered six episodes of her new show, “Ayesha’s Homemade,” which will mix cooking segments with scenes of Curry’s life as the wife of NBA superstar Stephen Curry and the mother to two daughters. Yes, that means the ever-popular Riley will most certainly make an appearance.

Curry most recently opened up a three-month pop-up BBQ restaurant in San Francisco, International Smoke, with celebrity chef Michael Mina.

Did we mention she has a cookbook coming out this fall?

Ayesha Curry says she “didn’t think about the ramifications” when she called the NBA rigged on Twitter after husband Stephen Curry’s Warriors lost to the Cavaliers in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

Curry tells People magazine she regrets the ways she voiced how hurt she was and didn’t mean to offend anyone. She says what she wrote isn’t what she thinks about what her husband does for a living.

Stephen Curry was ejected from the June 16 game, which Cleveland won 115-101 to tie the series at three games each. Curry angrily threw his mouthpiece into the crowd and had to be held back by teammates before leaving the court.

We know you guys love Ayesha Curry, but we also got that Kanye West X Travis Scott ‘piss on your grave’ exclusively backlinked here too.

Ayesha Curry tweeted, “I’ve lost all respect sorry this is absolutely rigged for money …. Or ratings … not sure which. I won’t be silent. Just saw it live sry.”

The tweet was soon deleted and she later wrote, “tweeted in the head of the moment because the call was uncalled for.”

Bill Cunningham, a longtime fashion photographer for the New York Times known for taking pictures of everyday people on the streets of New York, has died. He was 87. Mr. Cunningham died Saturday in New York City, according to Eileen Murphy, a spokeswoman for the newspaper. He had recently been hospitalized  after suffering a stroke. “To see a Bill Cunningham street spread was to see all of New York,” New York Times Executive Editor Dean Baquet said in a tweet posted to the newspaper’s Twitter account Saturday afternoon. 

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said Cunningham would be remembered for his trademark blue jacket and traveling by bicycle with a small camera bag strapped to his waist, “but most of all we will remember the vivid, vivacious New York he captured in his photos.”

 

We know you guys will miss the brilliant career of Bill Cunningham.

Cunningham began publishing a regular series of photographs in the Times in 1978 after a chance photograph of Greta Garbo got the attention of the storied paper.

After dropping out of Harvard University in 1948, the Boston-born Cunningham moved to New York where he worked as a hat maker and in advertising before being drafted into the U.S. Army. After a stint in the Army, Cunningham returned to New York where he wrote fashion pieces for the Chicago Tribune. He soon segued into photography and started taking photographs of people on the streets before joining the Times.

In a 2002 interview with the paper, Cunningham said he always tried to be as discreet as possible because “you get more natural pictures that way.”

“I suppose, in a funny way, I’m a record keeper. More than a collector,” he said. “I’m very aware of things not of value but of historical knowledge.”

Cunningham was the subject of a 2010 documentary, “Bill Cunningham New York.” In 2014, the New-York Historical Society featured a series of photographs Cunningham took long before his images of street fashion became a regular newspaper feature. Taken between 1968 and 1976, he worked on a whimsical photo essay of models in period costumes posing against historic sites of the same vintage.

Astride his bike, he searched secondhand shops for antique clothing and looked for architectural sites across the city to create the perfect tableaux, many of which featured his muse and fellow photographer, Editta Sherman.

The result was “Facades,” a book published in 1978. Cunningham donated nearly all of the 88 gelatin silver prints from the series to the New-York Historical Society.

He was awarded the Officier de l’ordre des arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture in 2008 and received the Carnegie Hall Medal of Excellence in 2012.

Anton Yelchin, a rising actor best known for playing Chekov in the new “Star Trek” films, was killed by his own car as it rolled down his driveway early yesterday, police and his publicist said.

The car pinned Yelchin, 27, against a brick mailbox pillar and a security fence at his home in Los Angeles, Officer Jenny Hosier said. He had gotten out of the vehicle momentarily, but police did not say why he was behind it when it started rolling. Yelchin was on his way to meet friends for a rehearsal, Hosier said. When he didn’t show up, the group came to his home and found him dead. The freak accident tragically cuts short the promising career of an actor whom audiences were still getting to know and who had great artistic ambition. “Star Trek Beyond,” the third film in the rebooted series, comes out in July. Director J.J. Abrams, who cast Yelchin in the franchise, wrote in a statement that he was “brilliant…kind…funny as hell, and supremely talented.”

After finishing a workout, the wife of Warriors superstar Stephen Curry was flooded with tweets slamming her husband’s performance in the NBA finals. One tweet sent her over the edge. It was a crudely edited family portrtait featuring Kyrie Irving in Stephen’s place. “You’re insulting both sides,” Ayesha wrote, suggesting the NBA-champion Cavaliers probably don’t want to be associated with internet harassment either.

 

“It’s the inappropriate photoshopped pictures that are insulting to both me and the others families, husbands, fathers, wives in them,” she tweeted. Her replies for decency were met with predictably indecent responses.

Khloe Kardashian said fashion stylists used to make her feel ashamed about her weight and that a bad marriage with former NBA player Lamar Odom actually helped her shed pounds, according to the New York Daily News. “People actually said, ‘I just can’t work with you’- because I was too big,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “That always hurt my feelings.”

The 31-year-old recently lost 40 pounds by dieting and going to the gym and said stylists are now eager to work with her. She credits her failed marriage to Odom, who nearly died after overdosing in a brothel last October, for helping her lose weight. “My home (with Odom) was dark and toxic,” she said. “I just needed a place to go. They had a TV and i could watch “the real housewives ‘ on an elliptical.”
