As many of you know Mr. Emerson suffered a stroke sometime ago and although he is doing quite well he has wisely decided that it was time to relocate to Morningside where he and Mrs. Margaret can receive assistance should they need to. The Meggs loved this home and community and would not be making this move unless they felt it necessary to do so. I personally want to thank Mr. Emerson for his many years of public service as County Executive and he and Mrs. Margaret for their years of friendship and selfless contributions to our community. I also want to express my most humbled gratitude for them placing their trust and confidence in our firm to conduct this Auction.
