iRunFar.com recently reviewed our Signature Dean Karnazes Footbeds. Here's what they had to say:

"Since that initial run I've probably logged several hundred miles and ran a 50k, 60k and a 50 miler on them. Having had them almost six months now two features really stand out as making these footbeds excel over others I've used.

First is the pronounced heel cup. While not as noticeable (to me) on the road, I certainly have a sense that paired with a trail shoe the deep heel cup helps keep my foot in place on nasty sloppy terrain (i.e. McNaughton this year), as well as potentially keeping blisters at bay.

The second is that the SOLE's have noticeably less volume than other insoles I've used while maintaining the same level of comfort. As a runner with a higher volume foot I feel this is a plus, especially in ultras where your feet tend to swell later in the race. When soaking wet, the insoles also don't seem to absorb water like other inserts and don't have that squishy feel even after multiple stream crossings."

The August 2009 issue of Triathlete's World Magazine includes a review of our Platinum Sandals. Here's what they had to say:

"You could probably wear these sport flip flops for everything pre- and post-race. The first time you slip them on they feel like old friends, which is in large part thanks to the top layer of EVA foam that sits underneath your feet and gradually moulds and shapes to you. The result is a sandal that supports, cradles and cushions your feet and is a pleasure to wear."

Recently Competitor.com reviewed our Platinum Sandals. Here's what they had to say:

"I have a slightly high arch and some on and off nagging heel pain, and these sandals offered the right amount of support while at the same time allowing me to wear cute sandals that didn't scream Grateful Dead Head (not that there's anything wrong with that).

The SOLE Sport Flips ($69.95) are the custom-made Gucci suit of the performance sandal world"

Our Platinum Sandals were recently reviewed in Prima magazine. Here's what they had to say:

"If you love the airy freedom of flip-flops, it's worth investing in a pair of SOLE Sport Flips. Standard flip-flops don't support your feet and can inflict damage, but these will keep your feet in tip-top condition all summer long. Available in a myriad fashionable colours, they offer cushioning, flexibility and protection, through a foot bed that moulds to the contours of your own foot."

Our Platinum Sandals were recently reviewed at The-Beauty-Pages.com. Here's what they had to say:

"They are - beauty products and Cadbury Freddos aside - my best pregnancy buy (BPB) so far... They are a dream to wear: light, comfortable and supportive, and unlike other shoes that make similar claims, these actually look good."
