Drop Crotch Alert! I bust out my Levi's chambray drop crotch every now and then but with these Mary Janes it seemed like the perfect masculine addition to the often time a a super femme-y look!

I paired the jeans with the SEBASATIAN TELLIER SEXUALI tank from American Apparel which is my fav thing ever (Literally I have every color) and the ultimate Navajo-inspired accessory from MICHA DESIGN. Happy Friday!

Check Check Check Check it out. Acne S/S Resort is goreous! Seems perfectly on trend with fully collared shirts, flowers, leather vests/Jackets and flowy pants/skirts. Chelsea and I are in NYC for our client PROJECT's Mens market show! I will have loads of pictures to post but as for now here are a few snaps!

SHOP: I did a little damage at TOPSHOP and am totally in love with the biker jacket/sweater I purchased (it is 18 degrees here so every layer helps!). Also a must stop is Damsel in Distress which carries every Aussie brand you love from Shakuhachi to Maurie&Eve.

PLACES: I stopped by the Manhattan Inn in Greenpoint which is probably my new favorite bar of all time. Whiskey. Pianos, Chandeliers? Who could ask for more?

FOOD: ISA is the new spot from the guy's behind FREEMAN's which is a den of hipster goodness. ISA is like a wood cabin plopped in the middle of Williamsburg, great wine, cheese, and ambience.

As a blogger you get inspiration from all over the internet and sometimes it takes just a photo to inspire! I absolutely loved this photo {the cat eyeliner , the epic top knot, and the chunky collar piece} I meannnnnn count me in! A few different pieces I found in my jewelry drawer became the testing grounds for this look. +The collar necklace is from BCBG and is totally sold out :( as is the chunky crystal necklace HOWEVER BCBG has some epic statement pieces out right now! Take a gander here. The leather necklace in the top picture is from H & M (in stores now!). Where do you get your fav statement pieces?

As someone who works in advertising/marketing and who has probably sat in meetings just like this one, I found it refreshing that JALOUSE put this out. YES YES YES it is controversial and very meta in that it still is an AD but it definitely speaks to the fact that we are strive for this PERFECT idealic life, things are easy, c'est la vie when we all know that isn't true. Yes it's fun to watch pretty people do glamorous things but it's important to remember that it doesn't make OUR lives any less interesting. There is beauty in imperfection and this whole media circus that is advertising is just for fun and to be taken lightly. What are your thoughts?
