I want my Samsung OMNIA

My previous beloved mobile phone Samsung SGH-Z720 was spoilt. :/ I really love its functions, especially the neat and easy-user-interface selfca function (which seems to be like rare gem in the heaps of mobile phones available in the market).

But seriously I never really used other brands of mobile phone. This is what I think about other brands..

Nokia - they look all the same to me
Sony Ericsson - they looked too complicated to me
Motorola - up till now, I've yet to learn to use it

Which brings me back to Samsung again. I went on to Samsung's site recently, and browsed through their catalog of mobile phones, and OMNIA caught my attention immediately.

It looked simply but really attractive - ultra smart.
And it is a touchscreen phone. (9^,^)9

The list of its specifications is just incredible. It can do almost everything combined of all phones out there can do - WiFi, Bluetooth, Radio, MP4 playback and GPS.

And it can selfcal *YAY*

It runs on Windows mobile 6.1 professional version and M...

Fly To The Sky Brian to join hands with upcoming group for comeback

FTTS Brian will be having a comeback performance with an upcoming group "Showhow" in end-July. Brian has been featured in Showhow's new minialbum's title song "New Day", and he will also be performing with them as a sort of accompany for his juniors.

FTTS's company said, "Brian and HwanHee has directly participated in the producing, as featuring etc for Showhow's album, and had displayed great music capabilities. Especially for Brian, he will be performing with Showhow on music programs."

FTTS was hailed as popular R&B singers in Korea, and this time because Brian will participate in this hiphop performance, much interests were roused.

HwanHee has also participated as a featured artiste for Showhow's song "Show U how".

Showhow's "New Day" and "Show U How" will be released online on 14th July.

"Singer without a face" Zia has finally revealed her face in her official first album photos.

All this while, Zia who did not revealed her face at all, had netizens guessing and some of them had posted on the internet saying that she "is probably ugly". And there were news from her company that she had disappeared after hearing such things said against her.

But looking at the album photos, Zia had large beautiful eyes and a pretty cute look.

Zia's first album "Road Movie" will be release online on 12th July, offline on 14th July. And the song "I look only at you" featuring Big Bang TOP will also be collected in the album.

Big Bang member TaeYang will be having his solo concert after his solo album release. It has been declared that Big Bang will not be appearing as guests performers for the concert to boost the crowd or cheer for the concert. This will be a concert solely for TaeYang.

With TaeYang's solo activities and achievements like winning number 1 spot on music ranking chart programs, Big Bang's name and popularity has also been rising. And recently, it has become a topic about fans all going after TaeYang's concert tickets, making it a sold-out concert.

On the other hand, some fans have opposed against the idea of Big Bang members appearing as guests during the concert.

It seems that there is a lot of influence on group activity with various solo activities in a group. And the sound of fans' unconditional love for the group members is instead going more hollow and not louder.

Big Bang TOP featured in 'the singer without a face' Zia's new song

Big Bang member TOP will come out again for singer Zia.

Zia is in the last stage of preparing for her first official album, and TOP has participated in one of the rap part for her song.

TOP got the role of the featuring with the help of one of Yang Hyun Suk's representatives. This representative of Yang Hyun Suk is actually a fan of Zia.

And with the request of Zia's company TaeWon Entertainment's president Jung TaeWon, TOP participated as a featured artiste to rap in the song "그대만 보여요 (I only see you)". It was revealed that TOP is also a fan of Zia.

The MV for Zia's first album was revealed on 9th July online. The MV, which cost 1 billion Korean Won to make, and involved actors Shin Hyun Joon and Miss Korea Honey Lee, has got much attention from fans and netizens.

Zia's first album "Road Movie" will be released on 14th July.

Super Junior won first 4th position on Oricon Charts

Super Junior released their first license single "U/Twins", and it has won the group its first 4th position on Japan Oricon Charts.

"U/Twins" was released on 9th July. And on the day of release, the single has occupied 4th position on Oricon Singles Chart. Super Junior has indeed proved its popularity not only in Korea, China, Thailand and also Japan.

Especially since the songs in the single were sang in Korean and not Japan, except for the bonus track "U" which was recorded in Japanese, to be able to hit into the top 5 position on the Oricon Chart is quite a feat achieved. Super Junior will not have any promotional activities in Japan but held a fan meeting on 8th and 9th July in Japan Budokan. The fanmeeting had seen around 8000 fans attending it.

Alex to hold first solo concert

Clazziquai's Alex will be holding his first solo concert "My Favorite Songs" on 6th and 7th September in Seoul DaeHyunDong LeeHwa University main hall.

Alex will perform songs from his first solo album, some of his favourite songs and also remakes. He will also be performing theme songs "Like a child" and "Proposal" from MBC "We Got Married".

New singer Lee Ra (24, real name: Um Lee Ra) died in her sleep at home on 6th July.

Stewardess-to-singer Lee Ra lived together with her friend in Seoul, and it seemed that she had wanted to vomit in her sleep but got suffocated to death instead.

She debuted with the stage name "Shine" in 2007, and also promoted the title song "Love promise" from her first album "The story of 12 love".

Tickets for Big Bang TaeYang's first ever solo concert were sold in just 10 minutes after tickets sales began on 5th July.

TaeYang will be holding his first solo concert "Hot" this coming 20th July in Seoul GwangJangDong Melon AX, and will be holding 2 rounds of concert one at 5pm and one at 8pm.

YG Entertainment said, "The advance sales of tickets for TaeYang's concert is considered higher than that of Big Bang's concert. Especially for the adults-only concert at 8 pm, there is almost no cases of tickets cancellation. "

TaeYang will be holding 2 rounds of concert, one at 5 pm for minors and one at 8pm for major.

One of the concert officials revealed that for those fans who did not manage to get the tickets has been requesting for the organisors to hold encore performances.

It is planned that Taeyang will be perfoming songs from his first solo minialbum and also other pop songs and piano performances.

Hyori 3rd album jacket released

Lee Hyori has finally revealed the album jacket for her upcoming 3rd album. This is her 3rd album after 2 years since her 2nd album. And this time, for fans who had waited long for her comeback, her album will be released in CD version and LP version. Also, a pictorial with 60 of her photoshoot taken in Hawaii and other places will also be collected as part of the album jacket.

LP version of the album will be released as limited edition with only 10,000 copies released. With news before the album release date that a limited edition of the LP version will be released it is likely that there will be a rush for the LP version.

Lee Hyori will be having her comeback stage next week in each of the music broadcast programs.

SM Music Festival in 4 Asian cities - Dong Bang Shin Ki, SNSD amongst other performing groups

Dong Bang Shin Ki and SNSD etc will meet together with other SM Entertainment artistes and music fans during the company's summer music festivals.

SM will be holding a 5-hour "SMTown Live 08" festival on 15th August in Seoul Stadium starting from 5 pm all the way to 10 pm.

"SMTown Live 08" will start in Seoul, and will move on to other cities like Beijing, ShangHai and Bangkok. It will be a large-scale Asia tour for the artistes in the company.

Amongst the artistes who will be performing during this music tour festival are Dong Bang Shin Ki, Cheon Sang Ji Hee, Super Junior, So Nyeo Shi Da, Jang Ri In and SHINee.

"SM Town Live 08" admission tickets sale will start on 15th August from 8pm onwards on the website (ticket. auction.co.kr).

TaeYang won his first mutizen after his solo debut from Big Bang on 6th July on SBS Inkigayo. He won with his debut hit "Look Only At Me".

TaeYang who debuted on 22nd May with the mini debut solo album "Hot", and this is his first mutizen award after around 40 days since his album was released.

TaeYang said after receiving the award, "I would like to thank the company. And I will work to be a more hardworking TaeYang."

On the other hand, TaeYang has been topping Mnet M!Countdown chart for 3 consecutively week with the song "Look Only At Me".

SHINee says, "Come and play, noona"

A special video that reveals SHINee's practice room was released on 4th July on SHINee's official hompy (http://shinee.iple.com).

The video was named, "SHINee's Special Time" and reveals some of the practices of their "Noona is very pretty" song. Also included in the video are each members' thankyou messages to fans for supporting them, where the fans can see the other side of the SHINee members.

SHINee members will also be taking on new roles as DJ on 9th July, sitting in for Super Junior members Lee Teuk and Eun Hyuk on KBS Cool FM "Super Junior's Kiss The Radio". WonderGirls and SNSD special stage on Music Bank

WonderGirls and SNSD did a rendition of each opposite group's hit songs "Tell Me" and "Kissing You" during KBS2TV Music Bank episode on 4th July.

WonderGirls did a rendition of "Kissing You" and YooBin is still lipsyncing to the song. While SNSD did a rendition of "Tell Me", 2 of the members YooNa and SooYoung did not sing. And if anyone is curious, member Yuri did YooBin's rap portion and Seo Hyun and Sunny did SoHee's "Omona". WonderGirls also did another remix to their latest song "So Hot" on this episode.

If you ask me, I will totally go with, "the original is the best". But still, I think that suddenly the korean music scene is alive again with all the fanboys and girls screaming away like crazy in the studio.

Both GDragon and TaeYang occupies music charts with "Look Only At Me"

3rd July, on Melon and Dosirak daily music chart, TaeYang was at number 3 position while GDragon was at number 9 position, both with the song "Look Only At Me". On JukeOn, GDragon's "Look Only At Me part 2" was at number 4 and TaeYang's "Look Only At Me" at number 5, and on Mnet.com GDragon was at number 3 while TaeYang was at number 7th position. It seemed that both Big Bang members versions of "Look Only At Me" is very popular online recently.

GDragon's "Look Only At Me part 2" was released later than TaeYang's "Look Only At Me", with changes to the rap and some vocal portions of the song. Within one day of release of "Look Only At Me part 2", It has overtaken Brown Eyes' "Don't Go, Don't Go" to occupy the number 1 position on CyWorld daily chart.

Big Bang TaeYang has won his 3rd consecutive number 1 on Mnet M!Countdown on 3rd July in Seoul KangSeoGoo 88 Gymnasium. He has once again surpassed WonderGirls' "So Hot" to win number 1 spot on the chart ranking.

Big Bang TOP reveals, "I have no concerns about my girlfriend's age"

TOP who recently appeared on MBC "Brain Battle" was asked by Kim Na Young the question "What is the cap for the age range for when you have a girlfriend?". TOP had answered, “Infinity(∞)”.

Also appearing on the same episode of "Brain Battle", Big Bang members TaeYang and Seungri and also Supernova YoonHak had answered, "It is okay if she is older than me by 10 years."

When it comes to relationship questions, TOP had answered 2 questions, SeungRi 2 and TaeYang none on the episode.

TaeYang who was asked the question, "Did you ever try kissing?", had answered, "It takes away the innocence of it." which has raised curiosity amongst the audience.

TaeYang's first kiss was actually in the MV for his solo song "Ma Girl" with the female lead of the MV. TaeYang said, "Everytime I look at the MV and think back about it, I feel shy. But now, I hadn't have a true kiss before. But I do wish to have a real kiss with my girlfriend some day."

I can't stand the urge to look up WonderGirls' "So Hot" UCC whenever I am on a video portal site, they are so fun to look at. This one is one that is done by some high school korean guys. I think their coordination in the dance steps is good, it is so fun looking at boys do the song.
