A man from Malaysia heard squeaking coming from under the hood of his car and when he opened it up found two tiny kittens trapped there. With no sign of the mother, he reached inside the gaps between the engine and other mechanical parts and hauled the two adorable felines to safety. When he placed them on the ground, their mother appeared and carried them away, presumably to find a safer place to hide them.

Leng Yein is a pianist since she was 5 years old. With her Classical Music background and being bilingual, her DJ career had toured her to USA, Europe, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and many other countries.

The Kuantan-born personality first entered the public sphere when she was crowned Miss Pahang at 18, before becoming a finalist at the 2003 Miss Malaysia.

She began modelling at the same age and competed in pageants for several years.

For a time, she was considered Malaysia’s “car queen”, courtesy of owning a pink Hummer and doing a number of racy shoots for motoring magazines.

Yein has also made frequent appearances as cover girl on publications such as FHM, where she earned the title “Most Wanted Woman in Malaysia” in 2015.

These are just a handful of a number of ventures that she is said to have undertaken. Her talents extend to singing and acting as well. It is written on various blogs that she owns multiple businesses that include a fashion accessories store, tattoo parlour, beauty salon and mamak shop in Setapak.

DJing is how she found fame, however, both in Malaysia and regionally.

Yein has performed at venues up and down the country since the 2000s and mixed over in Singapore, Bangkok and Taiwan, where she has dedicated fan bases. One of her earliest gigs was at Zouk KL, a club she has continued to play at over the years.

Top Gun's leading lady Kelly McGillis was spotted near her home as the Top Gun sequel begins filming.

Tom Cruise is back as Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell in the movie but Kelly will not return to Top Gun 2.

The 60-year-old actress won hearts playing Charlie Blackwood in the 1986 original - and previously said she'd love to return.

But Kelly has not travelled to the film set in San Diego, California along with her former cast mates.

In an interview with ET the 62-year-old actress - who diagnosed with alpha one antitrypsin disorder about five years ago - was unusually candid about why she was not asked to co-star with Tom Cruise in the Top Gun sequel titled Maverick.

'I'm old and I'm fat and I look age-appropriate for what my age is, and that is not what that whole scene is about,' said the star who played Charlie Blackwood, Maverick's instructor, in the 1986 hit film. 'But ... I'd much rather feel absolutely secure in my skin and who and what I am at my age as opposed to placing a value on all that other stuff.'

Cara Mengekalkan Keahlian

Cara Mengekalkan Keahlian: Tempoh sah keahlian Atomy adalah satu tahun, bermula setelah persetujuan permohonan keahlian anda. Keahlian akan diperbaharui secara automatik dengan pembelian minimum 1 produk Atomy tanpa sekatan harga. Tempoh pembaharuan keahlian dikira sebagai 1 tahun dari pembelian terakhir anda.

Pembatalan

Jho Low was born to a wealthy Malaysian Chinese family. He is of Teochew descent and he grew up in George Town, on Penang Island. His family has traditionally maintained a low profile. His grandfather Low Meng Tak was a businessman born in Guangdong in China. Dato' Seri Diraja Dr. (HC) Anwar bin Ibrahim (lahir 10 Ogos 1947) merupakan Perdana Menteri Malaysia yang ke-10. Beliau sebelum ini merupakan ahli politik Malaysia yang telah menjadi ketua pembangkang ke-12 dan ke-16, pengerusi Pakatan Harapan (PH) dan presiden Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR). Beliau telah bertugas sebagai ahli parlimen Port Dickson dari Oktober 2018 hingga November 2022 dan Permatang Pauh dari Mac 1982 hingga April 1999 dan sekali lagi dari Ogos 2008 hingga Mac 2015. Beliau juga pernah menjadi timbalan perdana menteri Malaysia dan memegang beberapa jawatan kabinet dalam pentadbiran Barisan Nasional (BN) di bawah perdana menteri terdahulu, Mahathir Mohamad dari 1982 hingga 1998.

Anwar memulakan kerjayanya dalam politik sebagai salah seorang pengasas organisasi Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia (ABIM). Selepas memasuki Pertubuhan Kebangsaan Melayu Bersatu (UMNO), parti utama dalam BN yang telah lama berkuasa, Anwar telah memegang beberapa jawatan kabinet pada 1980-an dan 1990-an. Beliau merupakan timbalan perdana menteri Malaysia dan menteri kewangan pada 1990-an. Pada 1998, beliau telah dibuang dari semua jawatan oleh perdana menteri Mahathir bin Mohamad.

Beliau kembali sebagai ketua pembangkang dari tahun 2008 hingga 2015 dan menyatukan parti pembangkang menjadi Pakatan Rakyat (PR) yang gagal memenangi pilihan raya umum 2008 dan 2013. Beliau menolak keputusan pilihan raya tersebut dan memimpin sebuah protes menentang keputusan tersebut. Pada 2014, usaha Anwar untuk menjadi ketua menteri Selangor dalam Langkah Kajang telah menyebabkan sebuah krisis politik selama sembilan bulan, yang berakhir apabila beliau dihukum penjara selama lima tahun lagi selepas mendapat tuduhan sodomi kedua pada 2015.

Walaupun masih berada di penjara, Anwar kembali berganding dengan Mahathir Mohamad dalam gabungan pembangkang Pakatan Harapan dalam ketiadaannya yang kemudiannya menang dalam pilihan raya umum 2018. Mahathir telah mengumumkan sebuah rancangan bagi Anwar untuk mengambil alih daripada dirinya sendiri sebagai perdana menteri selepas tempoh peralihan yang tidak ditetapkan. Anwar telah mendapat pengampunan diraja daripada Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Muhammad V dan telah dibebaskan daripada penjara. Beliau kembali ke parlimen dalam pilihan raya kecil Port Dickson 2018 semasa isterinya, Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, menjadi timbalan perdana menteri dalam pentadbiran PH.

Beliau dilahirkan pada 10 Ogos 1947 di Ceruk Tok Kun, Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang. Anwar bermaksud 'bercahaya'. Bapanya ialah Datuk Haji Ibrahim Abdul Rahman ialah bekas ahli Parlimen dan Setiausaha Parlimen Kementerian Kesihatan. Manakala ibunya ialah Che Yan Abdul Hamid Hussein ialah ahli pidato Pergerakan Wanita UMNO. Semasa kecil, beliau sering dibawa ke majlis-majlis ceramah wanita. Pada 26 Februari 1980, beliau berkahwin dengan Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Datuk Ismail, seorang penuntut Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin, Ireland yang kemudiannya bertugas di klinik mata di Hospital Universiti, Petaling Jaya. Perkahwinannya dengan Datin Seri Wan Azizah dikurniakan seramai 6 cahaya mata. Anak sulungnya, Nurul Izzah pernah dilantik sebagai Ahli Parlimen Lembah Pantai, Kuala Lumpur dan Permatang Pauh, Pulau Pinang.

Semasa kecil, beliau bersekolah rendah di Bukit Mertajam Boys School, Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang. Kemudian, beliau meneruskan pengajian persekolahan menengahnya di Maktab Melayu Kuala Kangsar (MCKK) dari tahun 1960 hingga 1966. Semasa di MCKK, beliau aktif dalam Persatuan Bahasa Melayu dan menjadi wakil pemidato sekolahnya. Beliau juga pernah dilantik sebagai Ketua Pengawas MCKK. Beliau juga mengenali Sanusi Junid, Kamaruddin Jaafar dan Yahaya Ahmad. Selepas itu pada 1967, beliau melanjutkan pelajaran tinggi di Universiti Malaya dalam Pengajian Melayu (Sastera).

Kris Wu (吴亦凡) Officially Sentenced To 13 Years In Jail For Rape

Kris Wu, also known as Wu Yifan, has officially been sentenced to 13 years in jail by a Beijing court.

Last August, it was reported that Kris Wu had been arrested on suspicion of rape and was being detained by Beijing police.

On November 25 local time, the Beijing court sentenced Kris Wu to 13 years in jail for two different offences. Following investigations, the Chaoyang district court determined that Kris Wu was guilty of raping three women between November and December 2020 and would receive a sentence of 11 years and six months. The court explained, “Wu Yifan took advantage of three drunken women…at his home.”

Kris Wu was additionally sentenced a year and 10 months for the “crime of assembling a crowd to engage in sexual promiscuity,” an incident from July 2018 where he, and others, assaulted two women who were also drunk.

After serving all 13 years, Kris Wu will immediately be deported from China to Canada, where he grew up. The court stated, “This decision was made in accordance with the facts, as well as the nature, circumstances, and harmful consequences of the crime.”

The tax bureau also announced that Kris Wu has been ordered to pay 600 million yuan (approximately $83,636,500) for tax-related offences, including hiding personal income. Authorities state that between 2019 and 2020, Kris Wu evaded taxes of 95 million yuan (approximately $13,242,400) and underpaid taxes of 84 million yuan (approximately $11,709,100).

Kris Wu made his debut through EXO in 2012, but he departed the group in 2014 due to issues involving his contract with SM Entertainment. After arbitration in court, SM Entertainment and Kris Wu reached a settlement in which his contract with SM Entertainment would remain valid until 2022, as per his original contract.

Cambodia’s troubles with human trafficking have escalated significantly after investigations by Taiwanese authorities, who fear thousands of Taiwanese have been trafficked into the Southeast Asian country and forced to work for criminal syndicates.

Police and politicians say at least 2,000 Taiwanese are still stranded in Cambodia against their will, but this number could be as high as 5,000 because of blind spots in the data. That is significantly more than the previous estimates that hundreds of Asians had been reportedly tricked and then sold here.

In March, a group of 35 organizations told the Cambodian government to urgently address “a crisis of forced labor, slavery and torture” after warnings were issued by five Asian embassies; Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Pakistan, and China. Malaysia followed soon after.

“Dozens of media reports and numerous victim accounts collected by local and international organizations suggest that thousands of people, mostly foreign nationals, are entrapped in these situations,” they said, bluntly, five months ago.

These types of operations – based mainly in the notoriously lawless southern port town of Sihanoukville – are similar to “boiler rooms,” which were not uncommon in Cambodia 10 to 20 years ago when Westerners were far more prominent in this country.

Back then boiler rooms were typically run by English-speaking Europeans who recruited from the ranks of backpackers and unsavory elements in the expat community who would target the wealthy and retired in the West with dodgy investments.

Foreign currencies, stock markets, and retirement villages were touted as investment strategies from offices with dozens of fixed telephone lines by people who made a conscious decision to work this nefarious trade and take a punt on fleecing the elderly of their savings.

The difference between then and now is today’s operations are being run mainly by Chinese syndicates who trick unwitting Mandarin speakers, among others, into this type of scam with false promises of high pay. They are kidnapped on arrival and held in fortified compounds.

And these operations are nasty. Beatings and torture by electrocution are common, according to victim accounts. People are held in third or fourth floor rooms. Some jump and, obviously, injure themselves. They have been ransomed, with families expected to pay thousands of dollars for their release. Many are sold onward.

诈骗集团目标主要锁定中国人，所以职员也大多来自中国大陆。中国大陆祭出严令禁止国人前往柬国，诈骗集团面对“人力资源困境”，开始把目光投向东南亚和台湾能读写中文的华人。

据了解，随着中国和柬埔寨合作加强取缔，部分诈骗集团已将大本营转移至缅甸北部和迪拜。

柬埔寨华文媒体《柬中时报》报道，指柬埔寨南部与越南接壤的干丹省，当地位于边境附近的一座赌场，昨日下午发生骚动，大批越南籍员工怀疑为摆脱拘禁，袭击保安后集体逃亡。其中40人成功游回越南，1人被水冲走，1人被抓回去！

对于近期频频发生台湾民众遭诱骗赴柬埔寨工作被囚禁、殴打事件，国台办发言人马晓光表示，在海外的台胞遇到什么困难，都可以及时联系中国驻外使领馆寻求帮助。
