10 O’Clock in the Morning

I’ve been up since after 6AM. I got enough sleep, but I’m dragging. I’m bored and I want change. I can’t concentrate on what I should be doing because I am uninspired. I’m off to rearrange the furniture in the living room… if that’s even possible since everything revolves around the TV that is mounted to the wall.

While in NYC for BlogHer ’10, I crossed paths with him. I believe he is the owner of the souvenir stand he’s standing in front of.

I think 8 AM.

2. How do you like your steak?
Well done.

Cinema? What’s that? No really um… whatever it was, it was over 10 years ago.

4. What’s your favorite TV show?
Sons of Anarchy.

5. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Somewhere tropical… although part of me wants to move to Canada.

6. What did you have for breakfast?
Sauteed collard greens and bacon.

7. What is your favorite food?
Spanish and Chinese dishes really bring out the greed in me, lol.

OMG Chitlins (Chitterlings). *barf*

9. Favorite place to eat
At home.

Italian and Poppyseed.

’99 Ford Taurus. It’s time for an upgrade.

Whatever makes my booty look big. Just sayin’.

I love early morning sunshine, but I’m most creative during the late night.

A Veterinarian.

The day my life changed forever. When I found out that I was pregnant with Jay.

Cats because they are calm, but I may be allergic to their fur :(.

It was vanilla until I stopped eating dairy.

Jamaica retreat in September and Carnival Cruise to Mexico in 2007.

Greg and Jay to Red Lobster on our Anniversary.

Silence. No music, no TV.

Two. A camera on my wrist and a peace sign on my middle finger.

So you know how you look in the mirror and you see someone so fresh, so vibrant, so magnificently fly… you grab your camera to do a self portrait and are horrified at the zombie looking back at you on the preview screen? What’s up with that? So you take 80 more shots only to be pleased with only 3 of them – if that. Yea, me too.

Yesterday morning. I had just washed my face. Nothing more.

Nails to the Yeah!: Pink & Nude Manicure

Nails to the Yeah! is back as a monthly link up! Every month I will be offering prizes to participants as a thank you and as a way to encourage participants to pamper themselves every once and a while! So without further ado, let’s share our nails! Here are mine as of today featuring an easy tutorial of how I did them :).

1. Paint your nails nude. Use as many coats it takes for full coverage. Let dry.
2. Paint a pink isosceles-like (lol) triangle on your nails. The lower left of the nail will be the starting point. Go over for full coverage. Let dry.
3. Draw a diagonal line along the line where the pink a nude colors meet using silver glitter nail art. Let dry.
4. Repeat this step using a gold nail art, drawing the line where the silver glitter and pink colors meet. Covering some of the silver is fine. Let dry, seal nails with a clear top coat, and clean up the edges.

All it took was 30 minutes for me to achieve this salon fresh look. Here’s the same style in black and turquoise! Love it!
