			This isn't the most exiting image, but being the in Oriental Pearl Tower was a pretty cool experience. This image also shows just how ugly the China sky is. I was there for 10 days and this is what the sky looked like in all the cities I visited. The only time I saw blue was at the Great Wall for about 45 minutes. The Oriental Pearl Tower also has a glass floor which is crazy cool.

			Visiting the Great Wall is a requirement if you're visiting China. I was actually really excited about going here and was hoping for some great shots. However, we only had about an hour and that's definitely not enough! This place was tourist hell. There were just too many people. I did quite a bit of research on the wall before I left, and everyone said you had to walk about 2 miles down the wall to get rid of the tourists. I wish I would have had time, but didn't. This place was pretty amazing, but not as amazing as the landscapes I saw during my SW trip. This section was the Badaling section of the wall.

			I just got back from a 10 day trip to China. While there I visited Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Tianjin. It was a pretty amazing trip and I hope to post more pictures. I posted this one because I wanted to enter in JPG Magazine's Markets theme.

			Today's high temperature was in the single digits, but I wanted to visit North Point park along Lake Michigan in Milwaukee. This is a very popular place to take landscape photos, but I couldn't find the most photographed spot. I got cold and really wanted to get some shots, so I took a few from this point. When it's warmer I'll head back.

			So yeah... Each year I put a calendar together of the boys on Shutterfly. Since I haven't shot anything for awhile it was a little like learning to walk again.

		<title>Milwaukee Obama</title>
		<link>http://www.sortedpixels.com/index.php?showimage=176</link>
		<description>
			&lt;img src="http://www.sortedpixels.com/images/20080901204136_milwaukee obama copy.jpg"&gt;&lt;br/&gt;
			Tonight, the family and I had the opportunity to see Barak Obama speak in Milwaukee, WI. Even though it's Kohler and Tatum's first day of school tomorrow, we headed down so that we could all witness history. It was a hot day and the boys were pretty tired (we actually watched the last part of his speech close to an exit for a quick escape). This rally was very unlike the Madison rally we attended back in February. For me, the Madison rally had better energy and was more exciting. The Milwaukee rally was directed at the Union workers who were attending the Labor Day festivities on the grounds. In fact, the Union workers were given the seats closest to the stage. We were quite a ways back at first with our Obama campaign volunteer tickets-even though we arrived about 2.5 hours before he was scheduled to speak. Then about 45 minutes before he spoke they opened up seats about 20 rows closer. My family and I are pretty tired of being jerked around by the security and local police at these events too. Once Barak took the stage, he spoke for about 15 minutes. The speech was short, but he covered all the points he needed to. I was hoping for a little more though. In the end, I'm glad I went and I'm looking forward to coming months leading up to the election.
