"Love" Is The Answer

I would like to begin this post with a wonderful quote from Maya Angelou, While I know myself as a creation of God, I am also obligated to realize and remember that everyone & everything else are also God's creation. I interpret this as love of self & humanity, love for animals, and for Earth that sustains all life on this planet.

Love. Some say, only Love matters & only Love is real. I really didn't get this at first being that as humans we may also harbor feelings of jealousy, insecurity, fear, hatred, bigotry, etc. But now I get it. Finally, I have some clarity! Feelings other than love that cause fear and anxiety are only for the human to experience to understand right from wrong. There is a big difference between knowing something is not right or wrong & experiencing it for yourself. It is the human soul NOT the physical self that understands that only Love really matters. Feelings of jealousy, insecurity, etc. do not matter to the soul. The soul is wise & knows that it only has love to give. It has no room to hate! Love has no boundaries and amplifies the true beauty of the human soul.

On the other hand, the physical self is bombarded with media & peer pressure, to look a certain way, feel a certain way, act a certain way. And the quick remedy is to get cosmetic surgery or feel bad about yourself & spend money on their products. Pop a pill & you'll feel better! It you are not strong, the physical self will become a slave to the massess. Dare to be different. There's nothing wrong with a little tweaking here and there, but if you really love yourself, you will do everything in moderation...

And remember, that to be in a state of loving is to be in a state of gratitude. Be grateful for the little things as well as for the big ones! Be grateful for the laughter and even for the tears. They help us grow. To be loving is to be conscious of others feelings, to sympathize as well as empathize. But remember someone else's feeling are not your own. Don't hold on to the negative ones. Learn to filter them out.

To be loving is to choose your words carefully. Put yourself in the other person's shoes so to speak. How would you feel if they said the same to you? Or did that to you?And remember, that if you believe in God... When it comes time for you to shed this body or human vehicle & your soul returns to the Other Side, there will be a judgement or life review. Those who claim to have been declared dead by doctors and have returned to life because God said, It is not yet their time have been asked, "What have you done for others? Why did you do that?" It is at that time when the soul realizes the implications and the impact of what they did or didn't do and how it affected those that were involved in the situation. They also have felt the pain of the other person or persons or the love that was felt...

I believe that God is pure love. I don't put human traits or imperfections on him/her such as jealousy. Only humanity is imperfect. How can I humanize perfection? How cruel and unloving would it be to cast your children into a life of hell to burn for eternity because they misbehaved? We wouldn't do that to our own children! And by the way, the word sin simply means to miss the mark or to misunderstand in Aramaic. I don't believe in sin. But I do believe we are here to learn from our mistakes! Only love of self, respect for yourself & others, compassion for God's creatures, & appreciation for Earth will get us there! Love is what connects us all. Don't be afraid to make a difference!

I also believe that when our spirits are down, God always sends someone to help us out. But as humans we have a choice to reach out to the hand or Love that is there to guide us along the right path. We can take the long road which is the more difficult one or the shorter road with less obstacles.

Love is also learning to let go if that is what is in the best interest for your child, romantic or business partner. There may come a time when you realize things have reached a point where there is nothing more to learn from each other or you may be smothering your children to a point where it's not healthy. Children need to learn and grow too! Love cannot be forced even with good intentions. Your children can become bitter and resentful and may retaliate!

Love is also being really happy for someone who has what you want but do not yet have. That's called, empathy. Love is wanting something for someone else even more than you want it for yourself because they deserve it! And remember, the fact you are even alive is a miracle. So be in awe of yourself, be in love with life. Make time for yourself. Make time for LOVE!

Your Reflection In The Mirror-- What Does It Say About You?

Take a moment now and look at yourself in the mirror. What do you see? What are your thoughts? Do you think your smart, have a high IQ, or stupid? Do you see yourself as a winner or a loser? Do you think you're sexy, pretty or ugly? Do you think your handsome, average-looking or unattractive? Realize it's not how the outside world views us, but it is how we view ourselves that matter. Beauty, as we know is in the eyes of the beholder. What is attractive to one person may be grotesque to another! Also, there are different types of intelligence. Some are book smart or street smart, others are spiritually intelligent or emotionally intelligent, etc.

Now look in the mirror, again & point to yourself. Did you point to your head or to your heart? I don't think I've met anyone who ever pointed to their heads! What is your sense of self? Where does it come from? I believe it comes from our hearts! Our hearts makes us who we are! We say, aww... he or she is sweet, or they are cold-hearted... Depending on the state of our hearts we use our intelligence to create harmony or chaos.

But this post is not about your body or your IQ, but how your thoughts about yourself have affected your physical appearance & the life you are living. Think about your current circumstances, do you feel fulfilled, do you feel you are worthy of being loved, if not, why not? Do you love in return? Do you love yourself? Do you like who you are? If not, make an effort to change... Don't blame anyone else for your misgivings because other people are really just thoughts in our minds.

If possible, befriend people who you would like to emulate in life. Surround yourself with a few good friends or acquaintances that have qualities you lack in yourself that you admire. We all need positive role models. We are all connected in life and are supposed to be here to serve one another, help each other out. Self-help books are a great tool to use too! Love them!

Take a moment when you have some time and look through photographs of yourself. How has your body changed? The way your physical appearance looks today is a reflection of the thoughts you've been having about yourself for a period of time. We all know that from the moment we are born our bodies are aging... We have no control over that, however we do have control as to how we will go about aging. Does that thought scare you or do you choose to think positive thoughts and know in your heart that just like others before you have proven, you can grow old gracefully and still be beautiful in mind, body & soul.

Now let's discuss the word, imagination. According to the dictionary, it means the action or faculty of forming mental images or concepts of what is not actually present to the senses. Now think about this! Every action is preceded by a thought, by your imagination. Now think deeply, how many of your thoughts whether negative or positive have come true! Imagination may be the most powerful word to ever be put to use in our minds. It can work for us or against us! There are no limits to what we can do! The only limits we perceive are those we place on ourselves.

So when we think about ourselves, our bodies our lives & how we interact with others, STOP & think... What do you imagine will happen before the next event or set of circumstances play out in your life? Then after-the-fact, how much of your self-defeating words, or positive thoughts about yourself & the situation did you make come true?

Mastery or True Spiritual Person

I think there is a big difference between someone that says they are religious and someone who is truly spiritual. A religious person is not necessarily a person that is kind and tolerant of others beliefs or sexual preferences. A religious person is not necessarily someone that is open-minded. On the other hand, a spiritual person is someone that is conscious of others and is aware that there are lessons to be learned in everyone we meet or every experience we've ever had. A spiritual person knows that we are here on this planet to elevate our souls. Therefore, we must have mercy on those who are less fortunate than we are, and be kind where appropriate. Contrary to popular belief, being kind or mindful of others does not make us doormats! Kindness is reciprocal! Maybe not from the person that is in front of you but someone else will return the favor. Kindness starts with love fof yourself. Then and only then can you share that love with others!

Being spiritual means to be in a state of gratitude most of the time. It's okay not to be perfect because only God is... We should honor our parents that created us, but only if they were honorable too! We owe nothing to lousy or absentee parents and we shouldn't feel guilty about it either because there are so many other people in this world that deserve and appreciate our love! A spiritual person is someone who is loyal or true to himself. A spiritual person understands that there is no need to hoard because the more you give away the more the universe will give back. Volunteering is important too if you have the time!

A spiritual person understands that everyone who resides on this planet is on a different spiritual level and that there is no need to try and change someone because try as you might, most of the time it's useless. It's like trying to explain calculus to a 6 year old! People will "wake up" when they're ready! A spiritual person doesn't blame anyone for anything because they know that we always have a choice about how we react to experiences we feel are negative. Some spiritual people do not even believe that there are positive or negative experiences, just experiences that we should share with others. Help someone out along the way...

Spiritual people are aware that our minds create our experiences. They are powerful tools! Many times the way we view what someone said or didn't say to us is viewed in a totally different way by the other person. Other people and their words are just thoughts in our heads. People that are truly spiritual, detach themselves from the outcomes they seek. Because they know, that if they feel anxious, nervous, or fearful, they are projecting negative energy into the universe. And the universe will reply with, "Oh, so you're sending fearful, negative energy to me??? Well, here you go... Back to you, buddy!! Negative experiences will keep showing up in your life again & again.

Spiritual people or "masters" of spirituality "know that there is nothing to seek and nothing to find. You are already enlightened, and all the words in the the world will not give you what you already have. The wise seeker, therefore, is concerned with one thing only: to become aware of what already is, of the TRUE SELF within!!!"

How To Balance The Sacral Chakra

The Sacral Chakra is the second chakra & it is located two fingers below your navel. It relates to emotions, desires, creativity, and sexuality (WEPA)!! To keep this chakra balanced & its energy flowing, try dancing--moving your hips and lower abdomen. Use a color meditation such as orange or chant to the sound of vam. Also, it's a good idea to practice yoga. I don't like yoga. It's boring! Express your sexuality & nurture yourself; & remember, you do matter!! We are all pieces in a puzzle that make up life. We're all connected. =D

Coincidence? I Think Not!

Simply put, intuition is the language of the soul. I'm sure we all have experienced meaningful coincidences in our lives at one time or another if we were paying attention. I know I have again and again! Meaningful synchronistic events or so-called coincidences arrive in a point in our lives when a person's life is in transition and hold significant importance to the experiencer.

Meaningful synchronistic events or coincidences should be seen as personal gifts or guidance from our creator. It is our personal connection to the higher intelligence of the universe. These meaningful coincidences can be seen as little miracles because they can hold confirmation that we are doing the right thing or are gently guiding us in the right direction.

These so-called meaningful coincidences are powerful signs that intuition is knocking on your door. Hello??? Can you hear me? LOL. Have you heard a phrase, a name or saying repeated by more than one person today? Do the same numbers keep appearing in your life? These are all signals for you to pause, be open, and pay attention people!

They are paths our lives may take into the future. If you embrace these synchronistic events as authentic life, then you will be following your own truth regardless of the consequences. Everything will be okay in the long run even if you can't visualize it at the time. This is the high destiny the ancient Greeks called, moira which is offered to every human. We just have to get rid of all of the clutter in our minds and start taking notice because with so much information in this world vying for our every thought, it becomes fairly easy to disregard or acknowledge our insights!

When you experience these, it is the perfect time to seek answers from within. This is where you will find the solutions and valuable insights that are waiting to assist you. If you could only trust yourself and listen! So... when you learn to trust yourself and listen, you'll begin to have a sense of not only the right timing, but you'll begin to perceive people and situations with a deeper and more discerning eye. You'll not only observe beneath and beyond what's in front of you -- you'll see the real deal!

Last, but not least, remember to say, "thank you" for all of the guidance that these meaningful coincidences have revealed to you. Because in this crazy, screwed up society we live in, we can use all the help we can get!

How To Balance The Base Chakra

Chakras are the energy centers of the body and are often referred as spiritual batteries. It is a sanskrit word meaning, "wheel." Our physical bodies are energy containers possessors of a life force so powerful that we can emanate it and have it felt by those around us. We can walk into a room without saying a word and project love, anger, confidence, fear, etc. and people in your presence will react as if we were wearing a neon sign announcing how we feel! With a simple touch we can make a loved one stronger and healthier.

We can even change the size, shape, and color field we're creating by changing our mood, diet, physical fitness and general well-being, and can have those changes documented by Kirlian photography which captures on film the actual energy patterns that radiate from every living thing on earth!

It is in the aura of our radiated energy that our chakras are found. They are basically the vortexes or energy centers of our life force. There are 7 main chakras. Each one corresponds to a major endocrine gland in the body and each one controls specific physical areas and functions. Stress, present and future illness, depression, circulatory blockages and countless other health problems will occur or manifest in the chakras before manifesting themselves in our bodies. The affected chakra in the body will appear darker, murkier, duller and less "alive" then the rest of the aura. But cleansing, by unblocking and restoring energy to that chakra, can actually heal the physical problem the chakra was reacting to!

Excellent Prayer For Students Young & Old

I was surfing the web randomly searching for prayers and meditations. I came across this website

Although it specifies that it is a prayer for students, I think we can all benefit from reciting it even if we're not in school. Hey, aren't we all student's of life??

And remember, as long as you're a good person & you have God in your heart, don't worry so much about whether or not you are doing the right thing. We're imperfect beings and we're bound to make mistakes. We just need to learn from them and help someone else along the way. We're all connected!

Never Stop Learning!

Wow! It's so easy to give up and say, "screw it" when things don't go as expected. I almost did that today. But instead I'm taking on the attitude that we only learn from our erroneous ways and nothing is gained from perfection. But I can't say that I'm not pissed right now, LOL! Need to take a few deep breaths and let it out slowly. Think peaceful thoughts... Think peaceful thoughts... This is just a test, LOL.

We must not be hard on ourselves when we make mistakes. We must not stay in a state of self-pity and depression. If our minds are not well then our bodies will reflect that. Grr...

I think the best medicine for depression is to go out there into the world and say or do something kind for someone else. Compliment them, smile at a stranger. But be careful! Lot's of weirdo's out there. Remember animals are God's creations too, so be kind to them as well.

When will we all understand that we are all a spark of the divine? A spark of God. If everyone understood this we would be kinder and more caring to each other. Spread a little love. It can go along way! "Smiles are the only windows that show our souls are centered."

When we're aware that we've made a mistake, we must be able to correct ourselves without invalidating or condemning ourselves. We should accept results and improve upon them. Correct, don't protect! We need to develop compassion for ourselves and grow from the experience. Remain open and receptive to new insights.

Don't blame anyone for anything. You and you alone are responsible for your actions or how you react to life's trials and tribulations. STOP playing victim. STOP being a martyr. These are all experiences set up for us to learn. And if you don't get it, you will keep experiencing the same circumstances or same set of problems over and over and over again. Don't be a dummy!!

Remember to concentrate on being positive or more loving because if you focus on hate, it brings illness. It eats you alive and lowers your immune system. That sucketh, LOL. If you're frantic about love and happiness it will stress you out and will elude you because you will be sending out desperate energy into the universe. That's a turn off! Yucky!

So instead of seeking love, be the love that you desire in life. There are all kinds of love and different ways to be loving. And better yet, LOVE YOURSELF!! If you don't love yourself, then you are not kind to yourself and how can you let anybody in?? Be in love with your family, friends, pets... Be in love with life! By being in a loving state of mind (hopefully most of the time) you will set yourself up for love to come to you in more ways than one!

The Power of Intention-Learning to Co-create Your World Your Way

Another great book by Dr. Wayne Dyer, "Father of Motivation." In The Power of Intention, Dr. Dyer teaches us how to change our negative thoughts into positive ones, by picturing what we want to get out of life by seeing it from the "end." Seeing things from the end means that instead of thinking about what you want, act as if you already have it and the universe will prevail!

Dr. Dyer states that the act of "intention" is nothing more than an energy force that we are all a part of and can tap into. "Intention is a force in the universe, and everything and everyone is connected to this invisible force." Through his research over the years, the Dr. Dyer's views about intention have changed, from psychological to personal-growth, and finally towards a spiritual orientation. At this level, healing, creating miracles, manifesting, and making a connection to divine intelligence are genuine possibilities. Well, imagine that!

In times of stress, he suggests that we say the word intent or intention because intention is spirit & that spirit is silently blissful, peaceful and calm. Dr, Dyer feels that we should view it as a silent partner that we can access at all times, but only if we can raise our energy vibration levels to a more positive one. This is a challenge for me!

The author also states that in order to tap into the power of intention we must try and eliminate thoughts of conditions, limitations, or the possibility of it not manifesting. If you can accomplish that your desires are already fulfilled, then it will be accomplished or "germinate into reality in the physical world" He quotes, "All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye have received them, and ye shall receive them" [Mark 11:24].

Dr. Dyer believes we should practice wanting for others what we want for ourselves by being Christ-like rather than a Christian, Mohammad-like rather that a Muslim, and Buddha-like rather than a Buddhist. He says that whatever we want for ourselves, (love, freedom, abundance) we should want more for others and let them know it too. We should try and keep all of our relationships holy, but it has nothing to do with religion. "The holy relationship emphasizes the unfolding of Spirit in everyone. The more we see the beauty in others, respect God's other creatures and planet earth, we will merge with intention. In holy relationships we see ourselves connected to everyone else, to all of humanity, the place where we are all one. In unholy relationships we see ourselves separate from others, we look at what's missing, our egos dominate our lives.

The Roots And Science Behind Numerology

Growing up in a Christian home, I was taught that Numerology was a black art or of the so-called, devil. Now that I am an adult, I'm doing my own research about what to believe or not to believe. I try to keep an open mind about things and am enjoying my own exploration of what it means to be alive on planet earth!

Researchers have concluded that numerology is an ancient science that goes back to antiquity and that the principles of numbers and letters have been kept alive in Freemasonry and other secret orders. However, it wasn’t until the beginning of the 20th c. that it was “rediscovered” by a woman from Atlantic City named, Mrs. L. Dow Balliet. She was a music teacher that specialized in musical composition. While studying harmony, she learned that the letter name of a musical note and its sound had the same vibration. Cool! The correspondence between the letter number and rate of vibration led her to the ancient science of numerology. As a result of her research and studies, she went on to write several books on the subject around 1903.

Mrs. Balliet acquired students that would be of great value in studying and spreading the word of numerology (through world-wide lectures) as well as writing books on the subject. Eventually, this led to the founding of The California Institute of Numerical Research. The institute was closed after 25 when it was concluded their studies were completed and their methods were accurate.

Physics is the science behind numerology! This science teaches us the laws that govern motion, matter, & energy: Everything that exists has motion in the realm of vibratory frequency. As you may or may not know, everything that exists in life has its own distinct rate of vibration. Numbers are then needed to measure these rates!

During ancient times only spiritual leaders were educated and taught to read. Therefore, only rabbis had use of the alphabet which was in the Aramaic language and were used for their sacred writings. While researching the study of numerology of antiquity, it was discovered the letters the rabbis used were also their numbers and were placed in order of their rates of vibration, making it a magical alphabet! When comparing the Indo-European letters which stem from Hebrew, researchers learned the letters are in “amazingly” the same order as the original alphabets-leading to the conclusion that our words are as potent as the magical language of Aramaic when it comes to numerology!

Face Your Fears

I would like to share a meditation about having the courage to believe in yourself and faith in a higher power. It’s touched me deeply. Of course it is much more enjoyable listening to the narrator’s voice, Colette Baron-Reid and the drums in the background. I hope you enjoy it too:

Feel your life force… Feel your heart beating… Listen… to the drum…The life force within… The sound of the drum stirs the warrior within you. One day, Great Spirit called to the soul and said, Come to the edge. And the soul said, “I can’t.” “I’m afraid.” Come to the edge. And the soul replied, “But I’ll fall off.” And Great Spirit said, Come to the edge. And the soul went to the edge and the Great Spirit pushed the soul. And the soul flew… The soul soared… Believe… Even when it’s uncomfortable. Remember you can fly! Feel your courage. Push through it. You too will soar! Great Spirit will always be beside you.

And go beyond your comfort zone to the place where miracles and grace live… To the place that each one of us was born to know… The place of miracles and grace… Release yourself to your life… your courage… Be true to yourself, your convictions. And above all else… Love thyself.

Angels On Earth Magazine

Not too long ago, a relative asked if I would subscribe to a magazine as a fund raiser for her child’s elementary school. As I scrolled down the list of choices on the form, I saw the usual types: health, fitness, celebrities, sports, blah, blah, blah… I wanted something different. In the past, I’ve subscribed to health, fitness, and celebrity magazines. And I must say, I was not really impressed.

So, I continued to scroll through the list when, I came across Angels on Earth magazine! I thought, hmmm… Sounds interesting. But I was a bit skeptical. I decided to get more information and checked out their website. It turns our that it is a bimonthly magazine from Guideposts, that presents true stories of heavenly angels and humans that have played angelic roles in our daily lives. Based on what I read, I decided to subscribe to it. Why not?

A few days ago, I received my first subscription! It’s smaller in size than the average magazine that I’m accustomed to reading- not that there’s anything wrong with that! Just thought that I’d point that out. The stories that I‘ve read have brought a feeling of serenity, as well as love and protection. The stories are a reminder, in case we forget with all the crap that is going on in our lives, that God is always with us in one form or another. And for those us that say, “God doesn’t hear our prayers.” Well… Sometimes, God says, “No”. We may not always get what we want. We get what we need to elevate our souls so that we may become more conscious and compassionate human beings. We are here to help and learn from one another. Wake up!! I think this is a great book for those of us who are willing to admit we're the only ones responsible for our happiness and the only ones in control of our own minds and how we cope with life's stress. Life is what it is-but it is how we react to it that can make us or break us.

Ms. Hays explains how to use positive affirmations to help us lead more fullfilling, happier lives. Unfortunately, many of us are used to repeating negative affirmations over and over, again and again each day, every day! It becomes a way of life that she says we have the power to change for the better. I love this quote she inserted in the beginning of her book, "Affirmations are like planting seeds in the ground. First they germinate, then they sprout roots, and then they shoot up through the ground. It takes some time to go from a seed to a full-grown plant. And so it is with affirmations-it takes some time from the first declaration to the final demonstration. Be patient."

Her book is divided into 12 chapters and discusses how to use positive affirmations for health, fearful emotions, critical thinking, addictions, forgiveness, work, money and prosperity, friends, love and intimacy, and aging. In her final thoughts she states that it doesn't matter where you begin "cleaning house" so to speak. It also doesn't matter which area of our lives we begin to change. Ms. Hays suggests we start with something simple because we'll get results quickly and therefore develop confidence to tackle the larger issues. Sure makes sense to me!

I don't know if this is a critique per se, but in some of the exercises the author asks questions about how our parents reacted to this and that, or what kinds of illnesses our parents have had or have, how did they handle anger when we were growing up, type of frienships they've had or have, etc: I grew up in a single parent household so I couldn't relate or answer questions to some of the exercises.

One exercise that the author states to do is to look in front of a mirror and say your positive affirmations or discuss with yourself unresolved past issues. She believes this exercise will reap the most benefits along with a box of tissues as you "spill the beans" and tears roll down your cheeks. Ms. Hays also recommends we use exercise visualizations to visualize what we desire whether it is a more fulfilling job, a healthier, sexier you, etc!

I agree with Ms. Hays when she says that we all need to learn about the body-mind connection-to know what we do, say, and think contributes to either dis-ease or vibrant health and that our futures are bright no matter what age we are. "We can do this if we just change our thoughts!"

I've been listening to the cd Magdelene's Garden sung and written by Colette Baron-Reid with Eric Rosse. This is the first spiritual musical cd that I've bought and I must say that it rocks!! The words are very powerful and I think that mostly everyone can relate cause we're all searching for love, acceptance, and desire forgiveness for our past mistakes or erroneous ways. The cd isn't preachy at all! They are words that come from the heart and her life experiences.

The singer, author, intuitive medium, seminar leader, motivational speaker, radio personality etc. has been through alot in her life. In her early life, she struggled with drugs and alcohol as a result of the aftermath of gang rape, the burdens of her intuitive abilities, broken dreams of her career as a singer, and her many failed relationships.

When she was ready to "right her wrongs" so to speak, "then claim the blessings of surrender and spiritual awakening followed by the grace of continuous sobriety, a successful return to music" and her successful return as an intuitive counselor, and having her books published! She is married to a wonderful man and says that theirs is the deepest love and that she's never liked a man as much as she likes him! LOL!! Amen!

Messages From Water??

I am currently reading a book by Masaru Emoto that is called, Messages From Water & The Universe. I received a free digital copy from http://www.netgalley.com/ and will probably review it in the near future. I would like to quote something he wrote because the concept is so fascinating! First of all, I would like to reiterate that the author is not a religious person nor a spiritual student, yet he believes that a Divine Being must be responsible for all life.

As you may already know, human beings are made up of 70% water and when we die we have less than 50% of it in our bodies. However, when we were embryos still in our mothers’ bellies we were made up of 98% water. The fact is that as we age we maintain less and less water in our bodies and this is the reason why we start to see wrinkles and hunch over a bit which makes us appear shorter. Mr. Emoto states that if we believe that water was sent or given to us by the Divine, then our original father and mother is God. He says that, “Yes,” We are all children of God. But that this concept does not only pertain to humans. Every life was created from water; it is the origin of life and the almighty’s gift. He believes that water serves as the messenger that connects human beings with God! He justifies this by quoting from the Bible, John: 1:1, In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came to be through him, and without him nothing came to be. What came to be through him was life, and this life was the light of the human race…

Mr. Emoto thinks that the Word actually refers to a vibration—that is God uses the vibration to create all of life. He says that as we know words are made up of combinations of sounds and sounds have a vibration & energy is a type of vibration. He then goes on to say that God combined certain vibrations to create harmonious words. He says that words in ancient times may have have been the vibration that transferred energy. In turn, “God had sent that vibration to Earth and created this beautiful world. By thinking in this way, it seems that the truth has been hidden deep in the Bible has finally become visible!”

“In God’s process, the sun was created to provide continual life-supporting energy. This energy is sent to the earth in the form of vibrations. Through years of research and experimentations with water and water crystals, the author feels he has been guided to recognize the truth; …I’m convinced that without the presence of God, we cannot accurately explain the story of the creation of earth!

Glimmer of Hope

Today started off quite gloomy, weather wise, which hampered my spirit. Normally I enjoy cloudy, wet days… But yesterday was pretty bad!! Enough is enough. But today there has been a glimmer of hope. The sun is shining brightly at times which brings a smile to my face. Thank you, God!

As the sun peeks out to brighten my day, I gaze over the bright blue sky and fluffy clouds and imagine myself soaring up, flying high to meet them! Then I laugh at myself. Yes, I know it’s only an illusion or a fantasy unless I am astral projecting! LOL. But it feels good for our minds to leave this physical world with all of its trials and tribulations. I guess that is why we need to sleep, huh? To recharge our “batteries” so to speak.

I love to watch my 4 year old play his little fantasy games and how easy it is to make him laugh. Oh, the joy of innocence! We must never lose the child within all of us. It’s joyful to be silly and play games. We must not take ourselves too seriously or we will be left miserable. And if we have to be serious and focused we must love ourselves enough to take a break from that part of ourselves. Unless you want to get burnt out and make yourself sick! There is always a glimmer of hope if you just take the time out to see it. Remember to be grateful for the little things and the beauty that is all around us. I forgot where I read this but it’s been stuck in my head for a while… Here is the quote, “Where there is breath, there is hope.”

Myths About Astral Catalepsy or "Sleep Paralysis"

If any of you have ever been curious about the paranormal and would like to know more about certain things you may have experienced or seen, then Sylvia Browne may have the answers along with other people that have researched these things before her.

In 1930, a researcher named Sylvan Muldoon name or coined the term "astral catalepsy." Most of his life was spent recording astral trips his spirit took during the night while his physical body was asleep. Here is a list of some of the things he felt prior to his spirit floating up and out of his body. In the middle of the night he woke up and realized that he was unable to move, see, or hear. He also felt severe pressure on his head. Once he regained all of his senses, and the pressure on his head subsided, he realized that he was floating above his body and was watching himself sleep! He took tours of his house and even tried to wake up his parents because he was afraid of what was happening to him but they never felt him shaking them. His first experience with astral catalepsy that he could recall occurred when he was about 12 years old.

I have experienced this phenomenon since I was a little girl and have been terrified every time it happens. However, I've never lost my ability to see and hear. I've felt as if someone or something is sitting on my chest and it is very difficult to breathe and I am temporarily paralyzed. I also fee as if my body is vibrating. As an adult I remember trying to call out to my husband to help me, because I can't move. But my voice is gone yet I can hear it in my head. I don't know how to explain this except that in my head I sound like a movie actor's voice in slow motion. My speech is slurred. Very strange! I usually will say a prayer and that snaps my soul right into my body-almost like a rubber band.

So what exactly is astral catalepsy? Well, supposedly our spirit bodies take a few trips a week away from our physical bodies whether we realize it or not. But sometimes, depending on the level of sleep our conscious minds are in, we can glimpse or catch our souls leaving or entering the body. When this happens while we are in a groggy state, our conscious mind panics because our spirits are half in and half out from our bodies and that's why we have all of these horrible but temporary sensations. When we realize that we are still alive, then all the scary stuff stops! In my case, I have to thank God, Jesus, the Angels and the power of prayer.

Here are some examples of what others have said they have felt during astral catalepsy:

paralysis
shortness of breath, often from some oppressive weight on the chest
being touched by something or someone lewd or menacing, but invisible
an overwhelming vibration
being pinned down and prevented from moving by an unseen presence
loud noises, from a buzz or hum to a blaring clamor as if fifty different radio stations are blasting at the same time
the appearance of strange lights
a certainty that a threatening entity is sitting on the bed or moving the bed clothes

A Foster Child Comes To Live With Josie and Brooke

This short but wonderful children’s e-book was sent to me by the author Cheryl Peterson to read and review. It’s about two sisters, their parents and their experience with foster children. It is about love, patience, being conscious of others and their love for Father-Mother God. The power of prayer helps them get through the rough times.

I liked the part in the story where the sisters realize that God is not just a Father, but also a Mother who comforts and guides. I especially enjoyed the children’s prayer written by Mary Baker Eddy (Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science):

Guard me when I sleep;
Guide my little feet
Up to Thee.

The Healing Miracles of Archangel Raphael

I just finished reading a digital copy of The Healing Miracles of Archangel Raphael which I downloaded for free on www.netgalley.com. In it were wonderful stories told by people that have experienced this powerful archangel's love and healing grace. For those of us that are not familiar with him- he is the supreme healer in the angelic realm. In Hebrew, his name means "God heals" or "he who heals." Many others believe that the his name is derived from the Hebrew name, Rophe which means "medicine doctor."

His primary role as an archangel is to support, heal, and guide matters that involve your health. He has different ways of helping us. But there's a catch! He will only intervene if you ask him because we have free will! He sometimes helps you directly. Other times, the archangel will guide you to the best person for help-such as a doctor or a specialist in the field. The author of the book, Doreen Virtue believes there's a divine order in every situation even though we may not always comprehend it. She also writes that it doesn't matter how we ask for help. Just do it and really mean it!

We must be prepared to "surrender" to the spiritual healing. In other words, we should not try to control and dictate how the healing should be done. We must really desire a complete healing too! This is very important! As some of you may already be familiar with-there are people who love the attention from others when they are in pain or "under the weather." People like this block healing energies!

Doreen Virtue states that Archangel Rahpael can also help us pass exams, gain clarity, and keep us safe when we are traveling. Personally, I am perplexed that she wrote this since I thought his job was to help us heal emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Oh, who knows!! Oh yeah, and if you request it, this archangel can help heal your beloved pets!

You can also ask Archangel Raphael to help you with conception if you are having trouble conceiving. A suggested prayer is:

"Dear Archangel Raphael, I trust your healing power which I know is from God. Thank you for opening the way for my healthy conception. Thank you for leading the way so that my beloved child is born healthy, after my easy full-term pregnancy."

He can also help you with Diet, Addictions, and Exericses:

"Dear Archangel Raphael, I am ready to release [name addiction]. Please cut my cords of fear connected to this addiction and fill my body with your loving emerald green light. Thank you for shifting my cravings so that I only desire healthful foods and beverages. Thank you for completely disconnecting me from unhealthy cravings. My heart, mind, and body are now filled with love.

Doreen Virtue also states that school-aged children can call on three archangels to help them pass school exams:

"Dear Archangel Raphael, thank you for calming my mind, emotions, and body so I am confident and relaxed. Dear Archangel Zadkiel, thank you for helping easily, accurately, and clearly remember all of my study materials and class teachings. Inspiring Affirmations From The Book, “Messages From Spirit” By Colette Baron-Reid

1)With spirit I am always protected and Divinely directed. I walk toward the Light, and I trust in the love of God [or goddess, Christ Consciousness, or whatever term you choose].

2)The world is an abundant and rich place with enough for everyone. I co-create my reality with Spirit. I always have enough, and I effortlessly share with others. The Light within creates miracles.

3)The Light within me chooses wisely for the highest good of all concerned. I express my love honestly and with integrity. I am always learning from the partners in my life-each soul I connect to shows me a reflection of where I’ve been, who I am now, and what I need to heal.

4)I let go and let God. I surrender to what cannot be now, and I release my expectations to the Light. I love and approve myself.

5)I freely let go of old ideas that no longer serve my highest good. I release my anger and accept the natural cycle of all things. I am a part of Nature and the living manifestation of Spirit. I accept my mortality to celebrate my immortal soul. I am a spark of the Divine and therefore part of a Divine Plan.

Divination Is Evidenced & Even Encouraged In The Bible!!

“There’s tons of evidence that divination was used for Divine guidance by very important figures in religious history that followed the One God of Abraham. Moses consulted Spirit by using a tool that was revealed to him by God. He had a vision that led him to create the Urim and Thummim. This is known as the highest divination tool in the Bible, and it was consulted as a sacred tool by the Jews (which is described in Exodus).

In the old testament, the word “oracle” is used to denote the most holy place in the temple in every case but one. The exception is in the book of Samuel, where it means, “the word of God.” A man inquired “at the oracle of God” by means of Urim and Thummim in the breast plate on the high priest’s ephod (or vestment). In the New Testament, the word “oracle” is used only in the plural and always denotes the word of God. The scriptures are called “living oracles” because of their power to transform." Here are some examples of what the Bible says about oracles and receiving messages from Spirit:

1 Corinthians 14:1: Follow after love, and desire spiritual gifts, above all that you may prophesy.

1 Corinthians 14:3: But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort.

1 Corinthians 14:4,5,6: He who speaks in unknown tongues edifies himself; but he who prophesies edifies the church. I would that you all spoke various tongues, but I would rather that you prophesied; for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks various tongues, unless he interprets; however, if he interprets, he edifies the church. Now my brethren, if I should come to you and speak in diverse tongues, what would I profit you, except that I speak to you either by means of revelation or by knowledge or by prophesying or by teaching?

1 Corinthians 14:22,23,24: Thus the gift of languages is instituted as a sign, not for believers, but for unbelievers; but prophesying is meant, not for those who do not believe, but for those who believe. If therefore the whole church assembles together and all speak in different tongues and there enter unlearned people or unbelievers, will they not say, They are fanatical? But if all prophesy, and an unlearned man or an unbeliever enter, he will be convinced by all, and he will set right by all.

1 Corinthians 14:29, 30,31: Let the prophets speak two or three in turn, and let the others discern what is said. And if anything is revealed to another who is seated, let the first speaker hold his peace. For you may all prophesy one by one, so that every one may learn and every one be comforted.

1 Corinthians14:37,38,39: If anyone among you thinks he is a prophet or that he is inspired by the Spirit, let him acknowledge that these things that I write to you are the commandments of our Lord. But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. Therefore, my brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not prohibit speaking in unknown tongues. Let all things be done decently and in order.

Joel 2:28,29: And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions; And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

Daemons To Demons-What a Mess!

At this time, I am reading Messages From Spirit-The Extraordinary Powers of Oracles, Omens, & Signs by Colette Baron-Reid. In chapter 6, she discusses how the victors are always the ones who write history books-never the losers or victims. She says that this is most relevant with the turbulent and sometimes violent rise of monotheism when the God of Abraham took the place of the many gods of ancient times.

During her research she learned that as cultures evolved, a convenient phenomenon occurred. The gods of the older society became minions or evil! The old gods became the new demons. And instead of considering the possibility that the gods could be many aspects of the One, they chose to wipe them out and start all over again.

She says that this is where the “so-called” evidence appeared that showed evil existed everywhere until the arrival of the only true God. Tragically, everything that became before the one true God was declared to be without value and obliterated any mark previous cultures had in our cultural revolution.

Ms. Reid uses Gnosticism and Paganism as examples-both predated Christianity as spiritual traditions in which gnosis was the goal. Gnostics differed from Christianity in the way that they sought direct personal experiences with our Creator as opposed to just having faith. Ancient Gnostics also did not think it was necessary or essential to receive mystical revelations through a priest. This belief still holds true today for Gnostic Christians.

Referring back from Daemons to Demons. The original spelling of the word meant that humans beings had a dualistic nature which represented the higher self and the lower self or eidolon. Daemon was another name for the immortal soul. “According to the old language, you’re engaging the daemon or higher self to reach into Spirit for enlightenment, reflection, and revelation.

Unfortunately, as expected the daemons of the pagans and the Gnostics did not serve the new replacement of faith because patriarchy & the systematic obliteration of any theology that allowed individual access to God was changed from daemon to demon. And we all know how this word is interpreted today!

The conversion of daemons to demons had grave consequences for the Gnostics and the pagans because to have a direct connection with our God source or Divine was considered heretical. Sadly, it became evil and untrustworthy. (I think this is more about power and controlling the minds of the masses.) -Dee

Yup, I believe this is right on point. If everything were perfect, than what would we learn and how would we know to appreciate who we are, our loved ones and the beauty all around us.

I agree and truly believe that we are spiritual beings having a human experience and that whatever happens to our physical bodies, does not affect our souls. We must remember that earth is not our real home & our flesh is borrowed so that we can learn and experience for God. Yes, I believe that our Creator knows everything. But he cannot experience for us. We must experience for him/her.

The Shift-Taking Your Life From Ambition To Meaning

Hay House Publishers sent me this book for free to read and review. It is written by Dr. Wayne Dyer. It is essentially about how to stop our egos from running our lives and shift to a more meaningful way of living. When we let our egos dictate how to live, we are never really happy because it is telling us that we need more and what we currently have is never enough. As the Dr. Dyer states, "More is the mantra of the ego, fueling endless striving with a false promise of eventually arriving."

Shifting our lives from ambition to meaning brings us closer to the "source" or God who created us. Dr. Dyer states that there are important questions we should be asking ourselves like Am I like God now? Am I getting closer? Am I there yet?

He also concludes that everything is energy; it's all vibration at a variety of frequencies. The faster the vibration, the closer one is to spirit (our true essence or original form) and understanding where we came from. Dr. Dyer also states that thoughts are an "energy" system and have been measured using simple kinesiology methods. "The highest vibrational thoughts are aligned with the Source energy of the Tao or God. When experienced as thoughts, these faster vibrations create strength, but slower thoughts create a weaker response in kinesiology tests." In my opinion, this is fascinating!

When we shift our lives from ambition to meaning we will have reverence for all life, & natural sincerity. Dr. Dyer states that having natural sincerity doesn't necessarily mean we won't break the rules; rather we will be guided to enjoy and existence that is characterized by authenticity. A third cardinal virtue for living a life of meaning is to be kind and considerate of others. He states that as long as we are focused on violence, we will not experience meaning and that weapons are not restricted to instruments of death; but they are also the words and actions we use! The fourth cardinal virtue is supportiveness. "Supportiveness manifests as service to others without expectation of reward or even a thank you-it's the quintessential component that life has a purpose... When we see ourselves as Divine, individualized expressions of God, we're more inclined to want to understand how the creative force operates."

I really enjoyed reading this book because it has helped me to see that I am aspiring to live a life of meaning, however difficult it might be. Damn ego, always messing things up!! LOL. I also enjoy his writing style because he fully understands that human beings can strive to be more like God, but we will never truly be perfect and that it is okay to fail... However, we must get back up and learn from our mistakes because all we have is now!!
