Master Ruma is a living Master, a Shaktipat Guru with Meditation Centers and disciples throughout S.E. Asia and South Florida.
He has traveled extensively around the world spreading his message of love, liberation and enlightenment through meditation. He is also a proponent of vegetarianism and loving kindness to all sentient beings, and honors all religions and beliefs. His message is Universal and is not aligned with any particular Religion or spiritual movement.
He was born in Cambodia of Vietnamese parents, moved to Vietnam, and was raised with a traditional Buddhist foundation. He was a refugee from the Vietnam war, separated from his family, and finally rescued by the United Nations Refugee Agency. He was adopted by American parents and relocated to the United States, where he received his formal education. In his new family life he was exposed to both Christian and Jewish religious traditions and values.
He began his spiritual journey at the age of 17. After several years on the path and traveling through India, he was guided to his Master in the Himalayas and was initiated into the Sound and Light Meditation.
This is his first appearance on the West Coast.

ĐỪNG BÁM VÀO NHỤC THỂ CỦA MINH SƯ

Sư Phụ Trần Tâm

Nhắn gửi đến tất cả đồng tu toàn thế giới

và toàn thể người xuất gia.

Ngày 10 tháng 01 năm 2010.

Sư Phụ muốn nhắc nhở một điều với tất cả người xuất gia nói riêng và đồng tu trên toàn thế giới nói chung. Nhất là đối với các đồng tu nào đã được Sư Phụ truyền tâm ấn mười mấy năm trước, để hiểu sâu vô trong tâm của Sư Phụ.

Các con tu hành luôn luôn cần được một vị Minh Sư tại thế gia hộ và giúp đỡ. Dù rằng các con đã từng thọ pháp với một vị Minh Sư tại thế, dù Ngài đã ra đi hay là Ngài còn ở lại đi nữa, nhưng khi Ngài đã không còn nhiệm vụ ở nhân gian này nữa thì trách nhiệm của Ngài cũng hoàn toàn đã xong. Một khi Ngài đã rời khỏi nhục thể này, thì Ngài không còn liên hệ đến thế gian này nữa. Các con nên sáng suốt để nhận biết những điều này. Những người đồng tu đừng vì sự ngu xuẩn, sự vô minh và những sự ràng bó ở nhân gian mà không thể tiến bước trên bước đường tu hành.

Bởi vì Linh Hồn của chúng ta luôn luôn tu học với tất cả những vị Minh Sư trên thế gian và trên Vũ Trụ. Linh Hồn chúng ta tự do, đừng ép buộc mình trong một khuôn khổ và những sự nhỏ nhặt ở nhân gian. Mặc dù những vị Minh Sư mà mình đã thọ pháp, vẫn sẽ luôn luôn câu thông với Linh Hồn bên trong chúng ta, dìu dắt và giúp đỡ chúng ta trên bước đường Tâm Linh, nhưng các con luôn luôn cần sự trợ giúp mãnh liệt của một vị Minh Sư tại thế, vì chỉ có vị Minh Sư đó mới có thể giúp đỡ cho mình trong thực tế, trong hiện tại trên bước đường tu học và hướng về mục đích Tâm Linh cao thượng, hoá thân của Ngài trong hiện tại sẽ giúp đỡ chúng ta trên con đường Tâm Linh của mình.

Sư Phụ nghĩ rằng các con hiểu được điều này và những người đồng tu đừng nên quá chấp vô nhục thể của một vị Minh Sư. Sự lợi ích trên bước đường tu hành của tất cả các con là điều quan trọng nhất, các con cần phải tìm được một xác thân có lực lượng của vị Minh Sư, để tiếp dẫn cho các con_những đã người được thọ Tâm Ấn. Các con không thể nào không biết đến những điều này, bởi vì những người không biết đến điều này chính là những người không được Khai Ngộ, tu hành không được rốt ráo, lười biếng, và cố chấp vào cõi đời này. Sư Phụ đã chỉ dẫn cho các con một sự cao quý, các con phải nên gìn giữ nó.

Trong thời gian chúng ta sống ở nhân gian, thì nhục thể chỉ là lớp bao bọc Phật Tánh của chúng ta mà thôi, còn trên con đường tu học dài vô tận, các con đừng nên làm nô lệ cho nhục thể, dù cho nhục thể đó là của một vị được gọi là Minh Sư thì cũng chỉ là nhục thể mà thôi. Các con phải nhớ rằng: Minh Sư là lực lượng, Minh Sư là một tình thương cao thượng, là Trí Huệ tột cùng huyền diệu thâm sâu được bao bọc bởi nhục thể, bởi một lớp vỏ bên ngoài.

Một khi vị Minh Sư đã lìa bỏ thế gian này để trở về với những cội nguồn Phật Tánh, thì không bao giờ liên lạc với thế giới này nữa. Nên các con phải cần có một vị Minh Sư tại thế, để tiếp tục dìu dắt các con trên con đường giải thoát trong lúc Ngài còn mang nhục thể này. Nếu Ngài còn mang nhục thể và còn nhiệm vụ để tiếp tục giúp đỡ chúng ta, thì các con đừng vì một sự nhỏ nhặt và cố chấp cổ lỗ xỉ, mà ràng bó mình theo phong tục tập quán. Chẳng hạn như Việt Nam hay Trung Quốc thường chấp vào một mãnh áo, giống như một đứa con nít chỉ thích ôm một cái khăn, lúc từ sanh ra cho đến khi trưởng thành, thậm chí cái khăn đó có dính bao nhiêu mùi hôi và dơ bẩn thì nó cũng vẫn thích ôm và hít mỗi ngày. Đó là một thói quen của loài người chúng ta. Thậm chí người đó đã là một người khai ngộ rồi, mà vẫn còn giữ thói quen tật xấu của mình trong suốt cuộc đời làm người thì có phải uổng quá không?

Cho nên Sư Phụ luôn luôn nhắc nhở các con cần phải hiểu biết sâu sắc một chút. Hiểu biết một vị Chân Sư tại thế là như thế nào, để mình có thể bước tới một con đường Tâm Linh cao quý, mở mang Trí Huệ, ngoài những việc tu hành ra mình còn phải biết những gì mình cần làm và những gì mình không nên bám víu, đó là những gì mà Sư Phụ muốn nhắc nhở cho tất cả đồng tu, bao gồm cả những người xuất gia của Sư Phụ. Sư Phụ hy vọng các con hiểu hết những gì Ta đã nói. Ta luôn luôn thương yêu và bên cạnh các con.

Dear all my beloved initiates,

On the occasion of upcoming Christmas and New Year 2010, I would like to send to fellow initiates all over the world the universal Love and Joy from Heaven.

In the year 2009, you have made a lot of efforts in your life and I really sympathize with you about that. For the upcoming of the new year, I wish you and your family a warm Christmas and joyful New Year filled of Grace and Blessing from God. The Almighty has created this beautiful planet and over a long time it has received a lot of heavenly Grace and supports from various spiritual Masters from the past till now. And my current life in this world as a Vietnamese, I feel very happy and honored. I wish our world always in Peace and all beings always receive Grace and Blessing from the universe. Wish all beings in general and my initiates around the world in particular a great peace in the protection of God and arrival of good things both in spiritual and physical life.

During the last few years, you have worked very hard in alerting people in the world about the threats of natural disasters such as floods, hurricanes, ice melting in the North Pole, etc which have happened and effected to this planet and its residents. I myself feel very depressed about this. For the upcoming new year, I hope everything will change in the more positive way. I can only advise you to practice meditation harder to help not only yourself but also this world. I am very grateful for your faith over the last years in propagating the Dharma throughout the world especially the great supports for my lecture tours around the SouthEast Asia to be successful.

THE BOOKS CARRYING UNIVERSAL MESSAGE
TO HUMAN BEINGS IN THE 21st CENTURY

The major subjects throughout the series of these books are a great enlightened spiritual teacher, Master RUMA and his intelligent, beautiful parrots, carefully selected to be the little friends in His both daily life and His Right Dharma Propagation ideal.

Volume 1 consists of interesting and touching stories about African Grey, Amazon, Cockatiel, Electus Rotatus, Goffin cockatoo, Golden Conure and Macaws, They all have been hand-fed by Master RUMA since their hatch until becoming mature. These birds have offered this world all their colorful beauty and singing.

The images in that book is very beautiful and lively, describing truthfully a representative in the small world of animals which are very connected to the human beings. After reading this book, people will be touched by the love that both the Master and his birds have toward each other. His love to these little friends is exactly the same as His to all human beings on the earth. He often say: “If all the people in this world love and care for the life of animals, they will not be scared of us and that is when their affection to us in fully displayed. These rare parrots are actually our brothers and inside them is the abode of Love, Buddha nature and implicit Truth of God.

It has cost s a lot of efforts and money to find the true peace in our mind without knowing it is always inside and even in front of us like what you will recognize through picture of Master RUMA's simple daily life and his little friends described in this book.

Volume 2 continues with the stories about Moluccan cockatoo, Indian Ringneck, Rose-breasted cockatoo, Sun Conure, Umbrella cockatoo and some other more. The display of emotion of these birds and through the short conversations of the Master to them, we can catch our own image reflected through. That is the God nature the Great Love of our true self which should be used to beautify this world but since it is deeply covered by the ignorance and karma of the three worlds that we have to float in the samsara for a long long time.

It has taken a lot of time and efforts of Saints to create this planet, so God is very sad to see that beautiful work that he has created and send many spiritual Masters there to conserve is now badly polluted by people's karma. War, deforestation, killing and anger have polluted this world and push its citizens closer toward terrible disasters. Neither financial support nor hi-technology in this world could save us from the anger of nature. Just when and only when the people start to love and nourish their compassion to all other kinds of animal on this planet could save them from the risk of extermination and bring Prosperity Peace and Happiness to all beings.

These are the sincerest words that the parrot and their protector, Master RUMA would like to send us through the 2 volumes of “The Birds in my Spiritual Live” published by Master RUMA International Meditation Association in 2009 in USA.

Part 3 of this series is on process and supposed to be published in the end of 2009 which will carry us a message that parrots and other kinds of animal have always been close to people and they are our most faithful companions on the general spiritual elevation of the Universe. Never kill these little friends and brothers of us! They, together with us, descend to this world to build a heaven on Earth and preserve our green planet, the training center of all noble Saints.
